Great shop! Owner was lovely. She had quite a crowd in there for a Tuesday morning but handled it expertly - both taking care of customers as well as meeting clients to accept consigned items. I have visited here 3 times and my spouse 1 time. I had two items for consignment and she told me I needed an appointment for her to look at them. At the appointment she said they were several years old even though great and dry cleaned. The owner is jus plain rude and has no customer servicing skills. read more

I used to like popping in every now and then years ago (at the time they had a lot of unused baby clothes with original tags still on them) but I have to admit that I had personally seen them turn away items that were relevant (based on more recent reviews, sounds like they're still doing that). I'm not a thrift-store pro so to their defense, maybe they just don't have a market for high end or unique vintage items... (C'mon... Its possible... so stay with me here) Can't say I've ever experienced or witnessed the rudeness other speak of (not saying it's a lie - just saying as a stranger and non-"regular" they were always pleasant to me and others in the store) but let's be honest... people can be dirty-snotty-rotten a-holes (in that order) when it comes to retail (sometimes treating people behind the counter like "peasants") so maybe you get back what you put out? Don't be mad...Just saying...No offense. In summary... I'm not suggesting you go out of your way but if you're passing through definitely stop and check them out cause you never know what you'll find. Peace to the world... Love to all... I enjoyed this store because it is relatively close to my house and remains on the cheaper side. Their clothing selection wasn't the best but the store was very small so it makes sense. My only complaint is the price of the rings and jewelry which was upwards of $8-$12 which isn't horrible but the quality of the jewelry wasn't the best either. Other than that a good find. read more

I had never been to this little shop before, even though I grew up in the town. I went with the intention of consigning and had a fair amount of items. I was immediately told by the owner that I had to walk with the clothes (in the pouring rain) from the parking lot as I was not permitted to park near the door to unload in case I blocked any customers. Strike one. I brought my stuff in, was told where to hang it and the owner went through it. Basically no conversation, no eye contact, takes rude to a new level. Strike two. She picked out three of the cheapest items I brought and told me these were all she wanted to keep. I tried to ask about her payment policy and it was like pulling teeth, strike three. Why are you in a service business when you clearly dislike people. Stay away at all costs. Much better consignment shops in Ridgewood to consign with. read more

Barbara is a grade a B. I brought pieces into her store from JCrew, Banana Republic, Lord and Taylor, and Anthropologie and she would not take them. Most of the items were worn once and were dry cleaned still in bags. Apparently they were out of date. Tell me when black pants and white button downs are out dated. I've cleaned my bathroom in nicer clothes than in her store and I've cleaned my gutters in a better outfit than she was wearing. You're better off shopping online during sales. read more

This place is ahhhh mazing! I am ALWAYS verbally referring people to go here!! My mom and I have been shopping with this shoppe for years (my mom, for decades) and all of those years have been delightful. This family owned establishment is such a pleasure to do business with. Let me start out by saying the merchandise is great!! A lot of choices and great prices. Name brand, in great condition and VERY organized. I have OCD so that is the #1 thing I look for when thrifting (I am a thrift-a-holic). Now.. customer service wise... I can tell the owner is used to regulars. The second time I visited this location was on Black Friday. Now... even if you're a thrift shop, you can still have sales, so I politely asked the owner (did not catch her name) if there were any sales going on today. In a not so nice tone she replies "Well the prices are already marked down reasonably". I am a Christian woman so God made me bite my tongue. I just said "Ok" with a smile and put the items I picked up back and walked out. I didn't ask a question that was out of the ordinary. It's Black Friday and thrift stores (well the MANY I've been to) have sales. So what was the need for the snarky response? Some may say I should have bought the items but I feel customer service is a huge part of owning a business. You set the tone for the shopper to whether they'll come back or not, no matter how good the thrift store is merchandise wise. Needless to say if you don't care about customer service this place is a GREAT thrift store & and yes reasonably priced (they only take cash FYI) especially for what is there. There are much better places with better taste and a nicer staff!! I heard about this consignment shop and decided to check it out. Not only was I there to shop but I also had some high end consignment brands to bring in. When I entered the store the lady with the curly hair was rude right from the start. Though there was no one else in the store she made me wait over a half an hour to look at the consignment pieces that I had brought in. Starkly telling me, consignment starts at 10:30. She also made me hang up all of my pieces before looking at them. I did with no gripe and told her to take her time. As I looked around the store and waited for her patiently she seemed to be taking a very long time to do nothing more than write prices on tags and move clothing from one rack to another. Couldn't that wait until after I leave? It's not like there's a rush of people, it's 10:00am on a Thursday! She went through all the things that I had hung up which included a Burberry skirt, black Christian Dior vintage blazer, United colors of Benetton blazer and alpaca sweater. The shoes I brought in were a beautiful pair of hand tooled leather cowgirl boots that had only been worn twice in a size 8 1/2 along with a pair of Italian-made never worn vintage loafers. All of the items were gently worn and were in excellent condition, better condition than anything she had hanging up on her racks and also better brands. As I looked through the racks I was very confused as to what she was buying. All of the pants skirts shirts and jackets and dresses were very outdated and not of great quality. The jewelry looked like the cheap $5 things from forever 21... From 7 years ago. She then told me that my stuff was outdated and that she wasn't interested and then made me take them off the hangers that she made me hang them on in the first place!!!! Curious about her business since I saw such low quality pieces, I asked her how long she had been in business? She responded with a snide, "oh only 38 years, we have quite a following". As I left she then asked if I wanted to take a business card which I responded, no thank you I know where you are (and I'm never coming back). I am an owner of a small business in the next town over and I would never dream of treating a client like that. I was nothing but pleasant and patient with her. I would avoid this consignment shop, there are much better ones in the area, I have no idea how this shop has been in business for this long! read more

This is honestly the only thrift shop I go to. Barb the owner is really cool and only accepts clothes of the highest quality. I decided to run in this morning before work and found a beautiful Lacoste shirt new with tags for just $10 dollars! I never write reviews but felt compelled to do so. If you want to save money but not sacrifice quality or are in between sizes like I am this is def the place to go. Thanks again. read more

Agree with Suzanne D's review. But given the prices which are the lowest in Bergen County I hit this place on a very regular basis. The elderly couple that run the shop are now helped by their daughter. Remember to put what you tried on back on the rack or expect a slight scolding. The hours are a bit limited so I have to make a point to remember the hours but well worth it. I also usually pick up my cheap sunglasses from here at $2 to $4 dollars. Parking is in the back as parking on Kinderkamack is impossible. read more

This store was very cute for a couple things. Not as great a selection as good will but the staff was very nice and pleasant.

It's all about the timing here to find some great buys. They do rotate the merchandise regularly. Though haven't been here in years. Happy to see they're still in business : ) read more

I absolutely LOVE this place. I will be coming back more often. Wish they didn't close so early because I walked in at 3 and had to rush trying things on at 3:50 because they close at 4. I agree with other reviewers who indicated other thrift shops are better organized, and friendlier. Barbara is borderline rude to consigners and if something is sold, unable to tell you what the item was and how much it sold for. Also turned down stuff that was better than things that were already in the store. read more

I absolutely love this boutique!!!! I didn't know what consignment was prior to coming in here, but I am absolutely floored by the quality of the items as well as their outrageous prices...The first thing I noticed was the sea of vibrant color that just lights up the store...everything is so beautiful n Barbara (the store owner) keeps the place looking great, constantly updating, rearranging, pricing etc- it has a wonderful, busy vibe with familiar faces popping in all the time.) You can come in here for just about anything (clothes, shoes, accessories, bags) and you're guaranteed to find something you like.) I still can't believe any of this stuff is pre-owned, secondhand, or donated. It looks & feels new! Plus there is such a variety of different brands/designers that you'll probably find yourself fitting into clothes of all different sizes, which is a lot of fun actually. I spend so much time in the dressing room, I should probably take up residence here! Haha read more
