I Shopped here for 10+ years. I don't live close by, so using my gas in my car to come once a month was a godsend for them. Each visit $15-$25.00. But today, I was banned, for refusing to hand over my reusable bag. (Not my fault NJ went bagless.) They have over priced CRAP. Now, they have workers who are mean and nasty. Do you really want to shop somewhere, where YOU as a customer, spending your hard earned money are not appreciated? They are unamerican. Literally. Barely spoke english, yet they know enough english to offend their PAYING customers. read more

This dollar magic location has a lot of stuff, but everything is not a dollar, so beware. The location is a mess, and the floor even looks dirty. The store could be organized in a much more efficient way. The staff is, however, very nice and helpful. I'm sure I'll stop in here again in the future for my dollar magic needs. read more

I've been shopping at Dollar Magic in North Bergen for years, personally and for work. This dollar store is as good as it gets, you can't beat the prices and many of the items are worth way more than a dollar. I'd recommend this dollar store to ANYONE in NY or NJ. The owners know you by name and are humble, friendly people who are ALWAYS helpful and often make recommendations when new items arrive. The employees are also helpful and always courteous. The store is stocked with thousands of interesting items that you won't find at any other dollar store ranging from items for your pets, arts and crafts for kids, hair and nail accessories as well as beauty products and stocking stuffers. Dude. This place is awesome. You have to go in with low expectations and expect it to be a bit grungy. Everything for the most part is a dollar and the store is huge. They have a lot of stuff, from holiday items, to incenses, party favors, cleaning products, kitty litter...the list goes on and on. My husband and I frequent this store for their holiday and aromatherapy products. read more

Ive been to better Dollar Stores but this does have alot. Its a bit messy. But i think they steal crap from other stores and re-sell it here. There were a bunch of things that stil lhad price tags on it from other stores (including KOhls) and they re-sell it for $1. Whatever works man, i deff enjoyed paying for more expensive things for $1. read more

I walked in and just wow. They have literally 1000's of items. Where else can you get a steering wheel cover for $1??? Literally, items from the floor to the ceiling. Huge place. The only thing is, on Google it says they close at 9pm, yet at 8:35 pm the staff were roaming the store claiming that they were closing in 10 minutes. Nice people but they either need to update their hours or not close ahead of time. Still, will definitely return if I'm in the area! read more

The Dollar Magic is located very close to Walmart in North Bergen, New Jersey. The parking is easy even though it's in very close proximity to the Walmart. The store is stocked very well and is organized as well as a bargain store can be. There are a variety of items including food, clothes, tools, household items, health/beauty items, candy/chocolate and electronics. Yes, most of the items are a dollar but there are items that are more that you can't possibly sell with a profit for a dollar. Sometimes you can find incredible bargains. I bought some socks for a dollar that are easily five dollars elsewhere! There are many known brands as well as brands you never heard of. The hours of operations are convenient enough. The owners speak limited English and are pleasant enough for a business. You will find many items here that are found elsewhere for a much lower price. Let's just say you will never get ripped off. You can find bargains at a dollar store. Here. I would recommend this store very highly. Let's keep things in perspective and judge accordingly. It is a dollar store. read more

I used to be a loyal customer of this piece of crap store, but I will NEVER be returning to it. They always tend to follow people around to see if you are stealing. They talk about you in their native language and they had the AUDACITY to accuse me of stealing a plastic Tiara. They are lucky I didn't stomp them or break their teeth. Terrible and grumpy people here. Difficult to communicate with, prices change depending on which employee you ask, get to the register and guess what? The price has gone up. It's also very dirty inside and also on the parking lot. There are bird droppings everywhere. Surprised that they have not been shut down by the health inspector. The Wal-Mart across the street is 100x better, and that is not a very high bar. I would recommend avoiding this place. read more

As far as the product this is a really cool dollar store with great items , lots of holiday things during the holidays. The owners/manager that work there are very rude. There was 15 min left before closing time and he went isle per isle saying " we are closed , pay now please" rushing the few customers that were left in the store. Every time I ask one of them a question another one always has something to say in Hindi. Or when I'm paying they'd start talking and look at me in the face. Super awkward. One time, when I was paying, a woman walked in and kindly asked for a plastic bag cause it was pouring outside and she needed it until she got to her bus stop. Can you believe the man asked her for $.50?! Lol I offered to pay for the bag and he refused (I still got her bag though). I gave it 2 stars because they actually have cool items and most of it is $1. read more

Everything you could ask for ! Dollar Magic has household , food , stationery , health supplies and more. They have a tremendous array of items. You never know what you will find. I never come out disappointed. The best finds are the reduced breads and cakes that I stock up on. The young lady at the front cashier is lovely. It is in the crazy Walmart parking lot , but they always have parking in their area next to the liquor store. read more
