"99 cents, more or less"…read more I always get a laugh out of dollar stores that sell things for more than a dollar ... and then you wonder how you have a $30 bill. This spot is big and has everything a dollar store should have, and then some. I got most of my holiday decorations from here (fake snow, ornaments, lights) as well as general party stuff (paper plates, tupperware, cleaning supplies, utensils, solo cups etc.) for fair prices (all under $3). They also have juices and foods, but I've always been weary of buying food from the dollar store. The place could use some better organization, or you can just ask one of the store employees and they'll quickly guide you to what you need and advise on your options. Not a bad spot for some quick disposables. Wouldn't expect long term lifespans of stuff from here, but then again, who does from a $1 store...

They often get name-brand items - that may have been surplus - and knock around 30% - 50% off retail. And there are always gems to be found. In front, you can typically find most of their latest products. So, I often swing by and glance there because those items typically sell out quickly. The staff is generally nice and the head cashier "Khan" is great. However, they don't usually have many cashiers working, so the lines tend to get long during peak hours after work around 4 PM - 6 PM Overall, I always find something at Lot-Less that makes the trip worthwhile.

They have some really funky gifts that I haven't seem in other places. I've been buying a ton of wedding related gifts for friends and I always seem to find the same things. At Hudson Paperie they have really unique gift items that I haven't seen before. They also offer monogrammed gifts and New Jersey themed gifts if you are looking for something that has a personal touch. When I got engaged my friend got me a wooden and marble monogrammed cheese board from HP and I love it. In fact, I loved it so much that I went out and got that same gift for another friend's engagement. While the gift shop portion of Hudson Paperie is fantastic, I'm knocking off a star because I was not too impressed with their wedding invitation service. The consultation does not feel super personal, they mainly just throw a ton of big books at you to look through on your own. Which is not a huge deal, but but not for the price. Invites here are incredibly expensive - more expensive than most other invite avenues that I've come across. So for that price, it would have been nice to go through different styles with a consultant instead of being left to sort through 100+ books on my own. But, if you are fine with that they do have tons of styles in their books to choose from. So the selection is great, I just was not too impressed with the service for the price.

The most interesting store is Uniqlo, and there's a lot of less than desirable establishments. They do have a Sephora, Zara, Macys (seems like it's on the brink of closure), and a decent food court with Panda Express (guilty, I love it). There's also a Cheesecake Factory, but as a fan of the brand this location feels like a let down. The bones of the mall are nice enough, lots of natural light with a Tesla charging station in the parking lot. If you're coming for the Christmas Santa or the Easter Bunny, there's no wait when you book ahead online. I feel like there's enough people living in the surrounding areas to upgrade the mall - give us a Crate & Barrel and Nordstrom and we'd be in business.
