What a cool experience! My husband and I went on a Wednesday in the middle of the day and it was a dream getting to go down every aisle in peace. We were able to look through their extensive selection and... man, do they have some great deals! We were really looking forward to seeing their meat selection. They have quite the selection, from ground lamb, wild caught salmon, racks of ribs, full boxes of chicken breast for just 60$. You really can't beat the value you get at this location. For example, they were selling two raw whole chickens in a pack for just $10 and two raw halal chickens in a pack for $18. I'd highly recommend coming in with a shopping list or just a few items in mind that you really want to buy because the selection can get overwhelming. We were also blown away by the selection of nuts and healthy snacks like fruit leather/jerky, etc. So what are you waiting for? Definitely stop by! read more

This was my first time visiting, and I honestly must say I was shocked. There was no crowd, no hustle and bussle, not chaotic at all. It was very calm shopping at this Costco location which is RARE at others. Like all Costco's you get everything in bulks. This location in particular has more options for meat and seafood, by the case. The prices are well worth it, compared to other stores. The lines were short , and they also have self check out available. The employees were very helpful and patient as well. The trip was well with the drive from NYC , and I will be back . read more

Come on... who doesn't love Costco?! This location is a members only business center. There are three types of memberships ranging from about $65-$130 annually: Gold Star, Business, and Executive. The membership is well worth it and basically pays for itself as long as you shop there. You just have to know what you're buying and know you will use it. Their return policy and extended warranties are heaven sent. It's a spacious warehouse and the products are well organized. Because it's a business center, everything sold here comes in bulk. Bulks and bulks and more bulks. It's catered towards restaurant owners, but even if you aren't one, you'll still be able to shop for your basic daily groceries. You'll be able to find similar items that you can find at a retail Costco. They sell household and kitchen appliances, grocery produce, office supplies, you name it...I love buying snacks, protein drinks, meat, and cheese. It's a much quieter, hassle-free shopping experience due to the lesser crowds. I've never had a problem with the customer service at the check out lines. Parking is easy as it's in a huge lot. It is SO EASY to overspend here... I gotta be careful :-) read more

If you've never been to a Costco Business Center, the one in Hackensack, NJ is a great place to start. It's a bit of a drive from where I live, but I make the trip because this location offers a completely different experience from the regular Costco warehouses. This one doesn't have a food court, and you won't find clothing or some of the household items usually available at other locations. Instead, it focuses heavily on bulk food and beverage selections that are perfect for both business owners and serious home shoppers. The layout is designed for efficiency and high-volume purchasing, and the shelves are packed with specialty items that are hard to find anywhere else. I've discovered a wide selection of frozen foods, restaurant-grade ingredients, and a much larger beverage selection than I've seen at any regular Costco. One of the biggest highlights for me is the drink section. I found lime-flavored Topo Chico seltzer here and have yet to find it anywhere else. It's now one of my favorites and a major reason I keep coming back. The variety and quantity of drinks, along with other unique products, made me buy a cooler just so I could safely bring frozen and refrigerated items back home after a visit. While it doesn't have the extras some people expect from Costco, the Hackensack Business Center makes up for it by delivering a focused and well-stocked shopping experience that's perfect if you're looking for items in bulk or hunting down specific products not available at standard locations. Not sure if this Costco is aimed exclusively to businesses, consumers, or both? But there are so much stuff lacking on this site. The most important one: restaurant. I couldn't get any hot dogs combo cus there isnt any restaurant available in here! Second this costco closes 6pm vs other costco closing later, like 8pm. I had to leave work earlier to get to this place before it closes. Would be better if this place closes later like 8pm... Tho, the advantage of this place is that it is much more emptier than other Costcos. So I had more relaxing purchasing experience. Other than that there wasn't much else that this place offered vs other Costcos I'd definitely not come to this place often. May be from time to time for some random purchases... read more

This business center is always less busy than regular Costcos. That's a positive. They don't have a gas station, liquor store or cafe, but plenty of food & supply basics for restaurants. Some items are cheaper here, but many aren't. I came for bottled water which is $5.29 for six. Much cheaper than the $9.99 you'll spend on the only available gallons at the regular stores. They do have full produce, meat, and dairy sections. Unique frozen meats, and all the bulk condiments you could ever need. They do not have printer ink, but they did have a 4 pack of Brother labeling tape for less than $10 a cartridge. That's a good deal. The staff is very friendly, the store is clean and organized, and the selection is good enough. The sales catalog is different though, and geared toward businesses, so if you want more variety, a regular Costco is the way to go. read more

I always love Costco. They have great sales all the time whether they be clothing or toothpaste or produce all the workers there are super helpful as well which is really nice. I never feel hesitant when going up to ask the question they have a lot of stuff it might be a little overwhelming, but I think it's worth it. This is completely unacceptable business practice. I love Costco and have been my go-to shopping here for personal and business reasons. On Saturday, 9/11/2021 11AM, I was trying to purchase nitrile gloves for our family doctor's office. These gloves are not easy to get, even for doctors. Unfortunately, there was a limit to a number of gloves that we can purchase. But here comes the angry part. Rather than manager explaining professionally why I can't buy over the limit, he mocks me, "ok. I'll let you take it. You good with that? But if I lose my job because of that, I'll come live with you. Agree? What a loser" then literally walks away without hearing my side. Throughout the whole ordeal, I did not lose my smile nor professionalism, and walked away. No matter how angry you are, I try not to lose cool. But wish I had gotten that managers name to report to Costco. I don't want my favorite store to lose its status because of one man's unprofessionalism. :-T read more

I'm assuming I am rating Costco in Hackensack alone. I've been to several others but this is the closest to my home. Conveniently located. It's a big box warehouse so I don't have a true love for this place nor consider it an unusual find. Amongst Costco's it is Clean, it's pretty well organized and the service is pretty good. My only issue with Costco is you get hooked on a certain product and then a few weeks later it could be gone, never to be found again. On the flip side there are items and products to be found that you can't find anywhere else. It's all about timing! The Good with the Bad and visa versa. As an individual store it is always crowded unless you have a Business Membership and hit the door at 10 am - grab what you want and get out. I wish I could meander more but you know you will pay the price at the check out line. So maybe my best input would be to have more check outs open during those hectic hours! And there are MANY. When the lines back up, you can't even look at the products on the first aisle as all the people waiting on line are in the way. I've never utilized the trips, vacations, cars, tires etc. Would love to hear more feedback on those areas. The butcher/meat and poultry area is good and I always utilize for steaks during the summer time. You definitely get more bang for your buck with thinks like flank steaks. Costco is our stop every few years for a new tent for shade, pool toys and gardening items. Suitcases, office supplies and just love the deals they have on all occasion cards. They sell a box of really neat looking cards (about 40) for only 15 bucks which is a steal next to Hallmark and the cards are beautiful. Worth the trip alone! I love this Warehouse center because it opens at 7 am. It's not crowded. But Costco closed it to the public because they are using it as a distribution center when the Corona Virus started. I hope it gets opened to the public again. read more

I enjoy the wine selection they have at the liquor store connected to them. I wish the staff could be more knowledgeable but it's more exciting to research and learn on my own so it works. I appreciate the ratings and descriptions they have for some of the wines. Each week they have a couple wines on sale so it's definitely a weekly trip for me. Great deals on beer and liquor too! In addition, the other services they offer are pretty great. The photo center has great prices and everything can be ordered online and picked up when ready. They also offer designer eyeglasses and contact lenses at discounted prices. read more

This was the original Costco location in Bergen County before they opened the new one in Teterboro. I went to this one growing up, but once they opened the Teterboro one, i thought that this one closed. As it turns out, this one was just converted to a business center. It's MUCH less crowded than the other location, probably because not many people know it's open. It has a much lesser selection, mostly bulk items that can be sold at businesses or prepared by a business. Kinda like a knockoff Restaurant Depot. But it does carry most of your grocery needs, so if you don't wanna deal with the crowd, this will do. The food court is still open too so you can get that awesome Costco food read more

This location is currently closed as Costco is using it as a distribution center, during COVID-19 Coronavirus. When it is/was open, this Costco "Busines" store was a gem as it carried different product lines from the regular nearby Costco in Teterboro, NJ. When they did carry similar lines, sometimes the prices differ too, which is a little confusing. You can often find other flavors of products in this store that do not exist in others, EG Belvita Blueberry, instead of the cinnamon flavor that is ubiquitous. Liquor is not at this store as NJ has rules over big box stores only having two liquor outlets per state, to protect the local high street stores. I hope this store reopens post pandemic, lines were always quiet and checkouts friendly. The store is about half the size of a regular Costco, so very few food products are here, but if you need a home office desk, you are in luck! read more

This location is now open for business and might I say it is a sight for sore eyes! Since there is a costco built in teterboro, this Costco is mainly used for businesses or for stores that want to purchase items to refill their stock or to buy appliances. Other than that, the average customer can still waltz into the welcoming doors of this establishment and purchase the essential grocery items that are needed for everyday living such as bread, eggs or milk. This Costco does not have the glitz and the glam like it's counterpart in Teterboro, but this Costco contains a bountiful amount of food and that is the beauty of Costco in itself. This Costco now sells its signature $9 pizza, very berry smoothie, hotdog, churros and more! The food court is open for good and I am pleased to see that this shopping center is looking better than ever. The only downside is that there are no samples along the aisles and there looks to be less cash registers or cashiers handling the registers due to the decreased amount of customers this Costco is receiving. However, I advise to bask in the elegance of an empty Costco while you still can before it becomes filled with eager customers willing to spend willy nilly on products that will last for months until they come back for more and it will be as busy as it once was where people would bump elbows and one would brush past a sea of of bodies as if you were walking on 5th ave in NYC. read more

For those unfamiliar, this is a Costco Business Center.. there are only a dozen or so of these in the USA. Business centers aren't necessarily the ones you go to on a weekly basis. I go to business centers when im throwing a bbq party and need some bone in pork butt/shoulder, a full packer brisket or some hard to find meats (full racks of Beef Short ribs). Maybe even skirt steak. They also have restaurant hardware and accessories. I doubt many non-small business' would be interested in the hardware, but the accessories can be of interest. My interest were in the steam pans, cookie sheets (2/3 size), knives, etc. I recommend stopping by and looking around with the mindset of throwing your next large party and what you can get here when the time comes. :) read more

Today was my last day shopping at any Costco. I'm going to check out Sam's, BJ's and the others. My Wife checked out with $154.00 worth of merchandise only to find out they didn't take off the discount on the sale items. We were told the discounts don't apply at the Business center store. We have shopped there many times before and the discounts were taken off. I was told we had to go the Teterboro store for the discounts. So we just returned all the items and left the Business Center. I find it hard to believe that Costco has different policies in their stores. It makes no sense to me, Costco is Costco. read more

I love Costco. Since I have two fridges at home I prefer to buy in a wholesale qty. The quality of the meats, cheeses, and veggies are top notch for the price. I love the fact that the company always tries to keep their prices competitive as a part of their operating philosophy. Much better than the local supermarkets. The people are alot more friendlier as well. I one thing that annoys me is some of the other shoppers. They would leave their cart in the middle of the isle blocking other people that tries to shop. This Costco is located in Bergen County and is my to-go Costco when visiting my family. The staff here is generally friendly, although it's impossible to find someone on the sales floor if you ever need help, so go knowing you are on your own. What's great is that this Costco is huuuuge! They have a very large selection and you can get lost in this location, shopping forever! The lines are always long, but they have so many checkout anes, so you can get out pretty quickly. They're closed on Sundays, so plan ahead. read more

FIRST TO REVIEW COSTCO IN HACKENSACK! TAKE THAT, SUCKAZZZ! You know you're rolling with Maria D's family when you go to Costco three times in two days. Costco is like crack to my family. They've got to have it. They refuse to each get their own memberships and all of them just use my aunt's card, like a fake ID. One of my aunts has a gluten allergy and bought some snacks here and I tried to explain the concept of Trader Joe's & Whole Foods to her and how she could find gluten free products there and she was NOT having it. She was either buying her trail mix at Costco or she was going to starve. Anyway, this Costco is eerily similar to the one in SF except that the clothing is far more hilarious. To the lady in the tapered jeans, pointy cowboy boots, see through black shirt and sports bra underneath, THANK YOU. I must've laughed for hours. Yes, I am an asshole. Costco is fun. Here's why I think so. Saving money. (need I say more). Reasonably priced Big Shrimp. (a personal favorite) I love fruit smoothies. If you love em too, there's no better place to buy BIG, gigantic bags of your favorite frozen fruit. Then while your blender is making that frosty, creamy goodness, do the smoothie dance in your kitchen. DVDs and CD's are mad inexpensive. Detergent and dish washing liquid is mad inexpensive too. You'll find the fun in this when you don't have to run out to the store in the middle of the game your watching, cause your woman just ran out. Tall kitchen trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper in fact any paper or plastic goods that are so very expensive at your regular market, you can get @ Costco in that GIGANTOR size joint that last damn near a year... for cheap. Those thick, white socks, the one's with the Grey heals and toes. I like em! Perfect for boots in the winter. And provide a little extra cushion when playing ball in the summer. They wear well too. Last mad long AND come in a 10 pack. Head up dude! Shoulders back, it takes a REAL man to carry that big ass, baby elephant sized package of sanitary napkins back to your whip. (insider man tip), as you stroll quick-like peek over at your woman, you'll notice that she's smiling. She's either thinking, "My man loves me. Or....she's smiling at all the jokes flashing thru her mind bout you carrying her crazy size package of Kotex. Either way, carry it with pride my dude. And when you get home help her put all those BIG ass packages away. Then tap dat azz! Cause there ain't nuthing better then after Costco sexy, Ya Heard! It's all good, the get back is comin. Make sure your baby carries that garbage can size container of mixed nuts the next time y'all go. Forget about the fact that the building's condition seems like an abandoned warehouse...but on *any* given day, at *any* given hour this place is PACKED. Parking is a complete bitch...and to know that that's just the beginning of your squirrel-like hoarding adventure. The place itself is packed to the brim with people, lacks organization & WTF is up with not being able to sale anything in the clothes dept on Sundays??? This review is solely based on the honest service I received in the Auto / Service section of the Costo in Hackensack Poor tire pressure due to a large nail stuck in my front tire lead me to shop for good tire repair service. If you are familiar with the area you know that there are a number of well know established name brands running tire/auto repair services nearby. The first place told me that the tire with the nail would not be repairable and after further inspection I should probably get all four of my tires replaced, at $250 a tire! naturally one needs to do some price comparison so off I go to Costco. Costco - "tire is repairable and the other place is trying to make you spend unnecessarily". 30 mins later repaired. Had to bring my car in for my 30 K service at my dealership and the dealership confirmed punctured tired was addressed appropriately and the three other tires did not have enough wear and tear to justify purchasing new ones. Yesterday my husband and I went shopping in Costco as we usually do once a month. This particular location is one of my favorite for a few reasons; I like the layout, it's pretty clean and organized, and it offers a great selection of kosher items. Many of their other locations don't offer kosher meat and cheese products. The staffing aren't so friendly or willing to help, not it's not like there are so many of them around to assist (except at the register where they take your money). I LOVE COSTCO! But seriously people, get it together. Those that go here on the weekends are like savages that haven't eaten in weeks. I hardly ever need to buy things in bulk....it just doesn't make sense for a single person, but there are a few items that I pick up here: -Edamame (the big bag comes in individual packets so it's great to take to work for lunch/snack) -Salmon/Cod etc( individually sealed, again great to take out just what you need & cook) -Soups -Cashew Clusters (yummy snack) -Movie tickets (GREAT value, these save you $4 /ticket which adds up when you go frequently enough) Service: Staff has always been polite & helpful, I haven't had any unpleasant experiences. Prices: I never get why people shopping here behave like a stampede, do they realize nothing here is free? Did they get that memo? And some things are actually more expensive than what you'd pay for them at another store....i.e. toiletries (I've done my research). I avoid coming here too often mostly because of how people behave when they are here......so uncivilized! Last but not least.....when I do swing by, I love grabbing a slice of Pizza & a Churro!
