I would say about 90% of the time that I make a purchase there the price on the receipt does not match what is on the tag. Especially if it's clearance. Agreed with other yelp reviews that this Target location loathe customers with coupons. I only had 2 coupons and she had to read each one word for word. Made sure I wasn't trying to cheat them? She tried to tell me that my coupon exclude trial sizes. Uhh...ok...I'm not purchasing trial size? It's a box of 20. I tried to explain to her that it is not trial size that it's just packaged small and if she scan it it would go thru. Reluctantly she did and sure enough it went thru. Honestly if you don't want customers with coupons coming in then just don't accept coupons and don't give out Target coupons! I will drive to Camarillo for all my future Target fix even though this Target is walking distance. read more

It's a big new store. That's about it. Target in general has great merchandise & design flare, but this particular location seems dirty. I'm hoping I just came on the wrong day. The restroom was trashed. Dirty diapers peppered through parking structure. Reminded me of the disarray of Walmart on Rose Ave. Inside it looks like the old Oxnard Target with a new paint job. read more

Went to the store at the Collection. When I was in the checkout line I realized I forgot my drivers license. Do you know a 69 year old woman cannot buy alcohol without a picture ID. Manager would not over ride the requirement of a picture ID. I left and went to Wal-Mart.....no picture ID is needed for a 69 year old person. read more

This is a clean, typical Target. However, there were some odd exceptions. For example the bleach is in a completely different place and not with laundry items. However, they had Neuro which other Targets in my area have stopped carrying. (Neuro is a great line of mood changing drinks.) You also get to use a cool is escalator just for your cart. read more

I love this target for the most part. Parking garage underneath is big and convenient. Cashiers are friendly for the most part only had one encounter with one that wasnt. Store seems to be pretty well cleaned. Aisles arent all tore up like walmart on rose. I avoid that place. There rice krisipies are the best too! read more

Recently I went to target and I have always been a returning customer because of my proximity and welcoming service but ..... This all changed recently. Let me start by saying the parking lot is an obstacle course. The younger kids skating is terrible it's always loud there tipping over carts crossing in front of cars and hitting them. I saw some kids skateboard hit a car and his other friend was laughing the security clearly doesn't care. Target has been my absolute go to store for shopping and all my needs I'm a consistent shopper and use my app for more deals. However after a shopping trip I had recently had I have been yet to come back and was completely embarrassed by the chasier. I was in the store going to be using my WIC check for some formula which would save me a trip to the grocery store when. It got time I signed the check and showed my book with my signature the lady then loudly it does not match and I then asked how and asked if I could show my idk she friend her back and said no the customers began to alight behind me and I got so upset I just said never mind . I have a frustrating experience regarding 4 "Teen's Choice"gift cards I bought for my son's birthday in February 2018. I tried using the cards in one of the stores indicated on the card, Nike, but 3 cashiers at Nike tried to help me for over an hour but the cards did not work. I called the 800 number on the cards but there is no customer service option so I called the target store and the first customer relations, Ana, made it sound like that Target could not do anything with the situation. I asked to speak to the supervisor and Natalie was able to help by giving me options to solve the issue. Her understanding and professional demeanor helped me calm down with my frustration. Sometimes you go in and it's an enjoyable experience, sometimes you go in and the place is a mess, clothes and shoes all over the place and employees yelling to each other from different depts. Let me just start off with this.. I LOVE TARGET! But this location has some pretty rude/mean people working there. Oh, & most of the cashiers/customer service ppl loathe couponers. I've been here like 100 times (no kidding!) & I've had ok-experiences like 5 times & great-experiences only twice. I do try to go to Targets in other cities when I can, because this one usually doesn't have all of the items that I'm looking for, while the ones in Ventura, Camarillo, & TO always do. My main concern tho, really is the "customer service" that this store provides. It's a shame that with so many ppl struggling to find a job, these ppl don't show any gratitude in their face. Yes, I know some customers can be the worst, but I've worked with ppl before, at a fast food restaurant & I think that's worse. They gotta learn to smile, say hi, & be polite. Usually organized, always enjoy target, except the last two times I was there to get diapers they have not provided me with the coupon they advertise on the shelves. The first time they told me to go to customer service and there they gave me cash instead of coupon. Yesterday the lady at the customer service desk kept trying to argue with me about how there is no coupon for getting 2 diaper boxes, then changed it to my diapers were not part of the coupon, then when I pointed to her they were, she said oh well, its for the larger boxes. Told her again she was wrong as I got the $24.99, but had two fussy children with me so I told her to refund me the whole price of one of the diaper boxes and left as I had no time to enlighten her. As I was leaving, I kept thinking why would they hire staff that is incompetent? Or is staff pretending so they can get the coupons to themselves? Its a shame, twice now this happens to me here. Just like the previous post this is just another Target. Although I think the entrance/exit design is quite strange and people are always going in the wrong doors when entering. They probably should have thought this one through a bit more before designing. We are in the Riverpark so the location is great, I don't even drive anymore just ride my bike over. Everything has gone down hill within just the past year, not only is customer service poor, but it seems like the customers there are the same as Walmart on Rose, gangbangers and allowing their kids to touch, play, drop everything. I walked in today and had a good shopping experience until I reached the registers. The lines were moving moderately quickly, but the cashier was very rude. I talked to her in a nice tone only for her to respond to me in a rude one. The look she kept giving me was very uncomfortable and I would definitely not go back to her line ever again. Wish I got the name of the girl, but unfortunately I didn't. Only information was that she had pitch black hair and wore glasses, possibly in her late teens/early 20's. read more
