So many years living here and I rarely come into this Marshall's. I honestly forget this store is here but after all of my scores shopping here today, I'll be a regular now. Came into the store and overall I was impressed with their selection and inventory. The departments that were lacking a little were the purses and shoes but all of my other favorite areas were well stocked - like clothing, jewelry, hygiene and home goods. The stores cleanliness was about a 4/5. More so the issue is people don't put items back so it can get a little clutter and messy in areas but still overall a pretty clean store. I was impressed with their fitting rooms. Clean and spacious stalls. The lady running that fitting room area was super nice. Great customer service here. 5 stars in customer service actually! Every staff member I interacted with was super lovely. Also I can't tell you how grateful I was that on this busy day they had at least 5 registers open. Loved this! My local stores rarely have more then 2-3 registers, even when a line wraps, so with long lines here everyone seemed content with how many staff they had working and that they kept the line moving. The gentleman working the register was super nice and sweet. This is a great store that I won't be soon forgetting. read more

Loved seeing all the Halloween decor. I Can always count on Marshall's to be season ready! I purchased a passport holder as I will be traveling soon. Super cheap buy! Only 7 bucks. I also purchased a nail kit which I had been looking for! Great fund. Loved seeing all the cute Halloween nails today 8.18.23. Purchased two reusable bags too which were super pretty. I really don't like shopping. I let my husband do all the shopping. He found some great deals some shoes, some sweatsuits , clothes for the kids. They have everything !!! place is clean, organized , what I like the best is they have a small section for people who don't shop and are waiting for their spouses , You can sit there and wait for them to finish shopping in that little area. I walked in shopping for slippers, and ended up buying a great sweater for $20, a kitchen caddy, a cocktail shaker, plus a perfect sized purse. Y'all should close at 10pm on Sundays if multiple employees get grumpy with just your mere presence in the store 30 minutes before closing. About three employees were pretty rude and I checked out at 10:30pm when they closed at 11pm. I wasn't making a mess or bothering anyone. They kind of just come up to and ask if you got everything and then they push a cart but don't say excuse or anything as you get out the way. They just don't seem happy at this hour so close the store at 10pm vice 11pm. read more

This location needs to be investigated by police/sheriff office. At 1pm this Friday there appeared to be pimps outside of the store watching for women, a woman inside the store in the back bathroom who appeared to have her clothing not on all the way and may have been on drugs. Acting strange and distressed. When she went to the front door the men waiting quickly grabbed her and got her in the truck. Then other men came out of the back of the store. Today I came to Marshall's on my moms Birthday to get some things she needed for everyday use. We shopped around and as we go to pay we were over charged for items that were wrongly priced. Jenni the Cashier made it clear that she wasn't going to price match there mistake on a wrongly priced item. We purchased multiple bottles because she loves this product that much, I come from a background in retail myself and I know the customer she be offered some sort of discount for your mistake. I think you guys need to do a better job as a team and have better management to keep your customers happy. Definitely won't be coming back here because of there attitude. read more

good location. i shop at all Marshall's Tj Maxx & Homegoods from san diego to Ontario mills to oxnard with L.A. & orange county in-between and the employee Gabby @this oxnard location is truly the best assoiciate. her customer service is far beyond all other locations. she checked each pair of shoes for size and found 1 pair was 2 left feet. notice the good finds that i found for the house. she was excited for me. had designer knowledge. asked if we we liked the artichoke jars we were buying. made us laugh with conversation. fully understood that hubby & I couldn't see without glasses and helped. wrapped all breakable securely with tape too. asked us if we had signed up for credit card. saw we both had and congratulated us. plus a few more things she noticed( small talk but shows awareness). just a well rounded young lady and super polite. she alone is the reason i am writing this review and will go back to this location even though I live in Burbank area. i am not related to Gabby in any way. just recognize good customer service. read more

Yes, they carry brand names! And it's not a treasure hunt to finding certain ones :D I only came for their shoe selection, which ranged from Coach, Jessica Simpson, Guess, and more. Everything was reasonable priced and organized with the display shoe on top and different sizes in their boxes below it. I was looking for new sandals and came across a pair of gold gladiators for $16 in the clearance section (they have a LARGE clearance section too!). Located at the shopping center were Fry's electronics is and Olive Garden. Like it's sister store (TJ Maxx), Marshall's carries cute stuff for your home, make up, toys and brand names at more affordable prices than at department stores. However, this place does not have as big a selection as TJ's. Also, this place does not have the customer service TJ's has. At TJ Maxx I'm always greeted by the employees ( usually the store manager) and thanked after every purchase, and welcome to come to visit again. At Marshall's I'm just asked if I want to open their credit card to save 10% ( straight to the point I guess). The store itself is small and always looks messy, especially at the fragrances/make up section. Despite these reasons, I still come because I like to see what treasures I can find. read more

We were shopping here at Marshall's and my husband is really shy. He went to go try it all on. 3 shirts 3 pants he held it up and she said 'can you hang it on the hangar rack' he had all the hangars going every which way. He struggles to do it...She doesn't help and says he had to do it for the camera so he tries to put it on the rack and she proceeds to say it loud "one....two....three..." making him feel awkward as if he's a thief! So we told the manager who agreed that wasn't friendly of her and that she needed more training. Cheap most of the times. I like to go through their electronics accessories (and usually end up buying something) Good discount store. Their apparel is also good, sometimes deals aren't that great on clothing but its overall good. I've also gotten several belts there for 1/2 of what they would have cost me at Macy's. Make sure they aren't defective though. read more

I was not expecting much from this particular visit, I was simply in the area and walked next door to take a chance. To my complete surprise, I walked out with plenty of premium quality athletic clothing for my son. I have purchased these same exact items in the malls for 3x the price I paid here!!! I couldn't believe the selection of gear offered at mostly rock bottom pricing. All items were dramatically reduced from MSRP... Even the pet isle had a huge selection of goods that would be outrageously priced at Petco or Petsmart. Maybe it was a luck day, but I will take that and next time I'm in the area I will definitely make it a point to drop by this location. The only small negative was the fellow shoppers encountered here were a little on the dirty and wild side with plenty of kids running around with little to no supervision. read more

Today I believe in humanity again! I was at Marshall's in Oxnard where I was looking for a duvet cover for the guest bedroom. I found two different ones that I liked. I picked both and set them on a shelf and started taking photos of their packages to send to a friend for opinions. This lady all of sudden appeared and put her hand on one of the packages. I explained kindly that I was taking a photo of them and that they were both mine. She responded with saying "well you're not holding them" and I yet again explained that I was taking photos of them and that I was going to have one of them. She left with anger. As I was waiting for a response on my text she approached me yet again in the store yelling, screaming, cursing and harassing me for being unkind and evil for taking her duvet cover. I told her that I was waiting for a response and that she could get the one I did not chose. She started pulling the packages out of my hands and screaming that they were hers. I was appalled by how people can be so awful so I chose to leave the scenario with both my packages and ignoring her. She kept screaming and making a scene. I was so embarrassed. I had never experienced someone doing this to me. What if people thought I was doing HER harm? Here is humanity: Shortly after the incident, the store manager Tina, approached me. She apologized for what had happened and asked for my forgiveness. She wanted to make sure her customers were not being harassed and that I was OK. She was so kind and loving and made it all go away. I ventilated a little about the incident and put it behind me. Once I got to the register, her staff yet again apologized on the behalf of the store, offered me an additional 10% discount and sent me on my merry way. At the door Tina met up with me again and wished me a lovely day. I sincerely wish Marshall's in Oxnard, Tina, the store manager and her entire staff, a very merry Christmas. read more

My go-to spot for cheap prices on brand name prices. They have a great selection of men's clothing and accessories. Also they have plenty of electronic accessories (headphones, car chargers, USB cables, and iPhone cases. Home selection is on point as well. This store does not have a good selection of items that I would be interested in. It's a bunch of old, out-dated stuff that appears looked-over. Every time that I have had to go to the store it is been a bad experience. I would advise that anyone who would like to go to Marshalls just save yourself the stress and just drive to Thousand Oaks. I had to make an account just to leave this review. Its a great store and the people there are so kind !! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a young lady and offered a cart by another associate. Made my ways to the shoe section to look at the shoes for a wedding and the sales boy was so kind to me. Then made my way find a wedding gift in the kitchen section and a young lady with green hair was so kind too !! I loved her green hair and wanted to ask her where she got it done. In womens, there was an older lady and she was sweet and made the experience so much better, reminded me of my mom. The young man in the tech section was helpful when I asked him if the carried phone cases. When it was time to pay I had a great interaction with my cashier and very COVID safe place. With plexiglass between me and the cashier, I felt protected and noticed they did wipe down the counter after the customer before me. I felt so welcomed and now prefer going to marshalls rather than target !! read more

I only put 1 star because there's no zero star. The manager Tina DO NOT have manners. She's very mean & does not have the ethics that's fit for a manager or anybody working w/ people. She maybe thinking that everyone is under her & thinks low of them. I was returning an item that I got from another marshalls store. It's not yet in their system cause I only bought it a few hours earlier from another store. So I asked, 'if I say I do not have the receipt, can I return it?' The cashier asked her, she flatly said 'NO'. I left my item there by the cashier cause I want to see if there's another one of those. I got a few more items but didn't find another one of that same item. So while I was paying, I told the cashier(not the same person earlier) that that item set aside is mine. She asked if that was a return, I said, supposed to be but I was told I can't because my item is not yet in the system( I just bought it from another store that same day)..., which I totally understand. I asked the cashier as I asked the earlier cashier, again... what if I do not have my receipt, can I return it? She answered "only w/ a store credit" and if course, I would want that. So she started doing that. The manager Tina saw what was being done & said.."that cannot be returned. I already said 'No' earlier!!!" So I said, why not? The computer is already doing it, it means it can be done. & Tina said 'we're not supposed to do that'. So I said, ok. The cashier was embarrassed & just whispered 'I'm sorry'. I told her 'no, I'm sorry. I think I got you in trouble'. But I didn't leave till I looked at the manager Tina's name tag. I understand if there are rules. I will abide by these rules BUT she could have said it to me in a BETTER way. She did not behave how a good person, let alone a manager should have behaved dealing with this simple situation. read more

This review is for Tina....I bought a pair of jeans at this Marshall's without trying them on in the store. Jeans never fit quite right but since I had put on 20 pounds I needed something & they were less than $20. When I tried them on they were so comfortable & fit great - size 7, not too tight, not too loose. The negative is that they have holes in them & when working in my garden I added to the holes. I called Marshall's hoping but not expecting that someone might be able to see if they still had more in stock of this same brand. It had been 3 weeks since I purchased the jeans. The girl that answered the phone was really nice & she transferred me to Tina to check stock. I know the store is busy so I did not expect such amazing customer service! Tina found not one but two pairs of the exact style of jeans one light pair & one dark pair & put them on hold for me to pick up. She was so helpful & kind. I can not be more appreciative! I usually really love marshalls. But their plus size section is a joke. I know it's sale season, but moving/sqeezing everything plus size on one little rack mostly, makes it difficult to see the items and if you're there with a shopping cart you can't reach anything or.look at anything at all. read more

Four stars only because they lack in the size department, I wear 3XL, they never seem to have my sizes which ultimately suck and plus Ross doesn't ether which also sucks but sometimes they have some good stuff...
