Everything is better at Tar-jay, am I right? :) I don't get to this Target often, but I love the set up and footprint of this location. However, I am not a fan of the underground parking, but that just doesn't work for me. I will park near Whole Foods if needed, and walk all the way over :) This most recent trip/review was for the Target (grocery) pick up. What a smooth transition! Color me shocked, #not, when customers were parked in the "pick-up" stalls and were *not there. They went shopping. But, whatev. Such is life in 2026. :( I figured out the place I could park and notified the app I was here and ready to pick up my items. An employee came out from behind the curtain, haha, and handed me my items and she was gone as quick as she appeared. No issue with bags or anything like that. I recently had an unfortunate experience at our local Kohl's store in Ventuta. I actually asked to speak with the manager on duty when this all happened. She wasn't the manager for the whole store but a night manager. She didn't help the situation at all. When I got home that evening I was still so upset I decided to sit down and send an email to the corporate headquarters and a separate email to the actual full store manager at our local Kohl's. When I didn't hear anything in response to my emails I printed out the letter and mailed a physical letter to our local store manager. That was over a month ago and I still haven't heard anything back from them. Customer service is America is dead I fear. However, I will give credit where credit is due. I shop occasionally at Target and afterwards I sometimes receive a survey from Target corporate headquarters. If I have the time I will take the survey and give them or an indirect employee cudos for a job well done. Likewise, if I'm unhappy with my experience I also will tell them. Without fail, the manager of the Target I have patronized calls me the next day to discuss whatever the issue has been with my shopping experience. If memory serves me usually the manager has told me to come to the service desk the next time I'm in the store and they will give me a gift card! So, a big shout out to Target for grea GREAT customer service and a big raspberry to Kohl's for totally dropping the ball. read more

Just got off the phone with the DA of Ventura County. The Visa gift card I bought at the Collections Target was part of a big scam where they steal the card off the Target display then take it home and take the number off the card. The card is then brought back to Target with the last four numbers scratched off. You don't know this when you buy the card because there is a strip covering the number. The DA said Target knows who cashed the number and when. So, if you present your fraudulent card with a receipt, you should be able to get a refund. If they will not refund your money call the District Attorney's office and file a claim against them. And please, don't buy any more gift cards. It's not worth the time it takes to get the damn thing straightened out. The plot thickens. Just got the fraudulent Visa gift card back from my friend. The card was purchased in a sealed security envelope and then sent by mail as a gift. When my friend received it, the card's envelope was still sealed. But when he opened the security envelope, he found that the last four digits of the had been removed making the card unusable. That means someone in Visa, who has access to the cards before they are put in security envelopes is recording the numbers and then making them unusable, before they are put in security envelopes. The crook then cashes the card as soon as it is loaded at Target. Sounds like an inside job at Visa. If you can think of any other possible scenarios let me know. When I contact Visa I'll let you know what they say. But the first scenario above also something to watch for. Best regards. read more

This Target is at The Collection Riverpark in Oxnard. I don't usually shop inside of this Target, because I'll be in there forever... On my recent visit, everyone seemed to be coughing left & right. Including the workers, not many of them wearing masks. No Bueno. Some people are just inconsiderate & don't cover their coughs. I'm not trying to get sick smh lols... Ok, rant done... lol. I'm a fan of Target's Curb Side Pick Up. I've had great experience for Curbside Pick Up at this location. It's easy & convenient. Pick Up is also located in the garage with plenty of parking spots. On my last trip out to Ventura, I stopped in here to pass some time before it was time to check into my hotel. It was located at The Collection shopping mall just off of the 101 freeway. I liked the setup for this Target. It's elevated with covered parking right underneath the store. From the ground level, you can take either the elevator or escalator to go up to the store level. As with any other Target, this store was clean and well organized. It was easy enough to find everything. I ended up buying a pint of Ben & Jerry's ice cream and a pack of Hanes boxer briefs. The prices were not bad. Since I only had 2 items, I paid for my items using one of the self checkout kiosks. read more

They have the most storage bin organizers here that I have ever been at any Target. I would consider this a smaller target than other ones I have visited but they have everything you need. There's an elevator and escalator to go up and down. The cashiers at night were pretty busy around 9pm so be prepared if you need to wait. When I went, none of the self checkouts were avaliable either. There's a starbucks and ulta make-up section inside. read more

I'm writing to report an extremely disappointing experience at this Target store. I stopped by recently after hearing from friends and even from one of your employees that the store had Pokémon card boxes available behind the counter and additional stock in the back. Since I live nearby and have purchased Pokémon cards from this location before, I went in to ask about them. When I asked an employee, I was told there were no Pokémon cards at all and that this store doesn't sell them at all. I know this is untrue, as I've personally bought packs here. When I requested a manager, another person (who was not a manager) came over, laughed, rolled her eyes, and showed me Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, saying those were the only ones available and they were pokemon cards when I specifically said those are Yu-Gi-Oh! She then said these are Pokemon cards! The behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful. To make matters worse, when I asked for their names, the employees covered their name tags. This makes me seriously question whether staff are keeping product for themselves or reselling it, which is deeply concerning. I would appreciate it if this situation could be looked into and addressed properly. Customers deserve honesty and respect, not to be dismissed or mocked. As many women , off all ages, we may have experienced at some point in our lives a menstrual emergency... my teenager had an unexpected monthly visit ... we were on the road, the day after Thanksgiving, for over 2 hours, with a young baby in the car as well, and that's when I was told that she needed some feminine products ... I am not from this area, so the only thing I saw off the freeway was the Target.., so I exited and pulled in to this gawd awful location.,. The store was a mess , but that was expected on "Black Friday" we found our way to the feminine products, and we also found her a change of clothes ... during the longest check out process , (the cashier was slower than the sloth in Zootopia) he finally scanned all my items , offered me a bag, I said "no" to, I paid and I told my niece , go to the restroom and change .. I grabbed my receipt ... and walked in right behind her ... In the restroom was Target employee ,Lorraine .. oh Lorraine !!! She saw a teenager walk in with Always pads and a change of pants.. she never acknowledged me .. all the bathroom stalls were available , but she never said anything to me about the availability of the stalls... she was tooo busy ASSUMING the worst!! Lady, not everyone wants a bag, not everyone needs a bag... but I had my receipt in plain sight , standing in the stinky restroom, while my teenager changed.... She got on her phone and seemed like she was reporting it.,. Again, I'm watching her , she never acknowledged me ... why would I was just standing there in the restroom?? after her staring at herself in the mirror , pacing back & forth for close to 10 min, I finally was upset enough and had to go up to her and tell her "ma'am, whatever you think she's doing, u are wrong! I paid for her items and I have my receipt... ". She denied it but immediately and took off ... we finally left , and as we were walking out, she offered me a bag lol . Lady, if I wanted a bag, I would have asked the sloth-working cashier for a bag- You know, as women, I hope you can understand the embarrassment of leaking, staining , not having a pad on you at the worst time .. and maybe because I was so stressed, I didn't think to get a bag because I would look like a thief, just wanted to get her cleaned up!! that just added more to the embarrassment... as is having to write this post, but I guess I also saved from further embarrassment from being stopped on our way out for "theft of ALWAYS FEMINE PADS" read more

I do pick up orders pretty often here. Today was a nightmare. I showed up, marked I was here and waited over 30 minutes. I then got out of my car to speak with them. They said they'd accidentally given my order to the wrong person. The worst part was none of this was communicated and I had to go find them to figure it out. This Target is clean, spacious, and oftentimes have the products in stock I want to buy. Unfortunately, the prices in Target are high. I like to come here when Walmart is out of a product I need or to the clearance aisles and see if I can find a good deal on any products. There's self self checkout lanes and the lines can often by long, especially during the weekends. Also, Friday and Saturday nights typically are a hangout spot for tweens and teens, so just be aware that you will be dodging even more people than usual on your shopping trip over the weekend. read more

Pokemon restock day today and the vendor took 8 hours to finally finish. Long line of people waiting for hours and what does target management do? Nothing. Just keeps asking the customers to move from one side to another instead of telling the vendor to hurry. The vendor is purposely dropping cases and moving extremely sluggishly. Seems like management here doesn't understand that they need to actual lead their employees rather than let them do whatever they want. They came one time to ask him how much longer and he said an hour and a half more when it had already been six hours. Management definitely needs to go back and go to some training courses because as of now, it's as if there is no management. read more

Awww Target, you broke my heart. I am here at least once a week. Lately, it been not the greatest experience. Bathrooms are so dirty and unkept. The store is messier than what I'm used to. I know everyone is having a hard time hiring, so I cannot be super tough. Most evenings (usually weekends), there's a group of teens on their bikes riding around in the underground parking. I saw a few aggressive drivers speed through them, so I told customer service/ security. They said they had someone there already talking to them. Well, I went downstairs, waited in my car and no one came or was there. Teens kept riding around causing road rage. I called customer service, three times and no one answered. I went home hoping one more was hurt. Didn't appreciate being lied to. I was worried for the teens' safety . I'll keep stopping by as I love Target! Hope things get better. read more

The good: They sell fresh flowers and plants in the front. This included bouquets for around $16 and air plants that came in cute vases. They also sell an assortment of piñatas. I came to get a water bottle and diapers for my baby. They have tons of water bottle options and so many cute ones. I love the trendy home decor and homeware from here. The shoes were nicely organized. It's easy to get lost looking at stuff here and lose sight of what you came for. The bad: I've never liked Target's cash register system where there are two rows. So, to get to the front row you have to pass folks in the second row and it looks like you're cutting. And also, there isn't much space to line up for the front row. I have been coming to this Target for years, I have been a loyal customer but after today never shopping here again. I went shopping today with my 6 month old daughter, I had her asleep in her carseat that was placed on-top of her stroller. Obviously can't push a cart and a stroller at the same time, so I used the basket of my stroller to hold my items like I have done multiple times before today. Well security and an employee must have thought a mom with a diaper backpack using the basket of her stroller could be stealing. I was followed aisle after aisle, by a male employee, he made me extremely uncomfortable and heightened my anxiety that caused me distressed as I shopped so much that I needed to leave mid shopping trip. I think security and the employees need to be further trained regarding what customers they need to observe and conduct surveillance on. read more

2nd time this happens . Place a pick up order, no one comes out . I had to call in. 25 min wait and it's not even busy.

Where do I even start, I came in for a quick return and when the worker couldn't help me, I asked for a manager. Suprise suprise! The manager was no where to be seen. I heard them call for a "team lead" on a walkie talkie and took note of how they took their sweet time before showing up (I only had one return ). The regular workers seem to run the store more than upper management, absolutely horrible the way the manager runs this store. Should be fired! read more

I live in the neighborhood. So I am inclined to buy from here. It's obvious that it's hard to find good staff. I have never encountered more employees that run from having to help. Worse than Home Depot. Their soft lines are not maintained at all. Food (meat and milk) are often expired. How the County of Vta hasn't fined this place amazes me. Often understaffed at the registers, but there is an employee party at the customer service counter. Which is the longest line. I'm sure VIPs haven't visited in years. read more

Once you have seen one Target, you've kind of seen them all. This location showed me something new and cool, a shopping cart escalator. Parking is on the lower level, underneath the store. They have this escalator running next to the people escalators that will carry down your cart for you. It is pretty neat and the only thing that will separate this Target location in my head from the dozens of other Targets I have visited. The inside is, like I said just a Target. It was pretty busy when I went, just like a typical Target. Employees were efficient, but not overly cheery. They carry it all- from a selection groceries to iPads. If you need something and don't have the patience for Amazon Prime, you'll probably just pick it up "next time you're at Target." There is always a next time and this location next to The Collection makes it a super convenient option to "just swing in for one or two things" and then leave needing to use that handy shopping cart escalator. read more

This Target is conveniently located in The Collection in Oxnard where the newest and largest mall/plaza in the area where all the restaurants, stores, gym, Whole Foods and movie theater are located. And every once in a while, I get my caffeine fix at the Starbucks inside the store however the only downside is there's usually a line and you have to wait a while for your drinks. I love coming here to get the basic things I need or browse for deals/sale items, or find cute things to add to my wish list. The aisles are pretty clean and the store is usually well stocked. I love using their cartwheel/target phone app to find coupons/discounts on the store items by scanning the items and it also acts as a price checker too so you don't have to go hunt down a price checker scanner. The lines can get quite long during busy times, especially the weekend. And parking can be a little scary and challenging when it's busy/the weekend so drive carefully! There's plenty of free parking outside of Target or in their parking garage. read more

This Target often has low stock of many items. I normally dont go to this location at all. Its usually easy to drop by the Collection then pick up things needed at this Target. I think the restrooms arent cleaned at normal intervals. There was s***t splatter all over the back wall and I just about died laughing and could barely contain myself. I walked out of the restroom with a huge smile. About a minute later, my wife walked out of the female restroom and complained about s***t on the floor from one stall that left a trail to another stall. To whoever that was, I know there was no way you walked out of there without destroying your pants and shoes...Those cameras by the Starbucks and exit most definitely have a recording of you walking out with that look of shame all over your face. Unless of course you did it intentionally to ruin someones day. I just hope you atleast washed your hands. This Target is redic! It looks like a mall but it's just Target with all that parking structure lol I came with my brother to get some groceries and found everything we needed in minutes with their clean and organized aisles. They have some great deals comparable to Wal-Mart; however, Target check out was FAST and you don't have to wait in a long line for 20 minutes to pay lol I also have been cutting and saving coupons from the Sunday papers and the cashier Joey scanned through all my legit coupons with no hesitation, saving me a good ~$9. I am definitely coming to this Target from now on :) read more
