Two sets of frames, which were shipped back separately were "lost" after I complained to the staff about slow service. I do not believe they were lost. They offered a refund, but these are luxury frames that are out of production. Unacceptable and I will never return. Manager, who once vented to me-a customer-at length about his personal life, can be flippant and behave as a "smart Alek" in my opinion. Otherwise, be prepared to spend around 30 minutes to an hour, as staff move very slowly and don't appropriately acknowledge customers, in my opinion. Today, after waiting around 30 minutes for my refund for lost frames, an elderly man sat down at the desk, sorted through the glasses, and apparently found his. Nothing was verified and he got up and left. I will never patronize this location again and suggest for others to go elsewhere, especially if you are bringing in frames that were purchased elsewhere. read more

This was the worst experience I've ever had ANYWHERE. About 3 weeks ago, I came to Target optical for the first time. I was helped by Christine who told me I would receive a text message when my glasses were ready for pick up in about 7-10 days. At day 13, I decide to call to get an update on the status- Christine answered and spent about 5 min searching for my glasses while I was on hold, stating "oh maybe he put them in the wrong place". She then proceeded to say she couldn't find them so she would call me right back after looking in the system. About an hour later I get a call from Christine, ACCUSING ME of picking up my glasses on 10/24 (4 days after placing my order). She stated she knew I was there bc she checked me out and she remembered that I was there. I was NEVER there - hence me calling for an order status. I asked them to review the cameras. After almost 5 hours of being in target, the manager decided to not have security finish reviewing the footage. He stated "I will order a new pair whether it was an illusion that you were here or not and you can have 2 pair". Never ONCE did he apologize for wasting my time. Thank God I finally got my glasses 3 weeks later but I feel sorry for whoever paid good money for the wrong pair of glasses. Most incompetent and unprofessional business I've ever encountered. I called in today about a charge that I normally have to pay once I get finished with my eye exam which is to me a ridiculous amount since I have insurance. I try to ask the receptionist "christine" why am I getting charged that amount if I have insurance before I could complete my sentence she cut me off. She said I would need to speak with the Dr. Directly b/c she has her "own" fees. I said what? I've been coming to this place for the past years & she has her own seperate fees? so what am I really getting charged for on top of my deductible & contact lenses? she said she could not discuss any information over the phone as far as my deductible fees? she said I would have to come in for all of that? mind you every time I come in they ask for extra exams that my insurance does not cover that I opt out bc I only need to get my regular eye exam done since my vision is not even that bad. I had also called & left a message for someone to call me back. No one ever called me back. I understand sometimes the receptionist busy and cannot pick up, but I had to call multiple times. so I decided to call another office to book an appointment with someone else, They answered my questions and told me what I am expected to pay. which is not even close to the amount I was paying for on what was suppose to be a regular eye exam here. read more

Great experience here with eyeglass purchase! Glasses came back in 3 days and were perfect.

Doctors offices love to charge their patient for extra tests that they don't need. And be aware this place is one of those offices. My eye doctor her name was DR Karim. I needed a prescription to order my contact lenses. I went to her she did a premium contact test for me which I didn't need. I don't have any issues with my eyes but she charged me more money simply because of the type of contact lenses I was using. Basically I couldve paid less if I didn't mention to her what brand contacts I use. This is the most ridiculous reason to pay more. I don't understand why would she go with more expensive test with me without my consent. And she refused to change the charges although I told her this is not what I needed. She sucks and sounds to me another useless doctor trying to get more money in her pocket. It was my first and defiantly last time going there for a test. read more
