Have used Lenscrafters for years. Always have a good experience. Most locations seem to be uniform with all others I have visited.

I received excellent customer service at the store and at the Dr of optometry next door. The store is very clean, organized , and well lit. This location has a vast selection of premium, luxury eyewear. The staff thoroughly explained my insurance benefits and presented me with the recommended lens options. I was able to find a good pair of glasses at a fair price. Very convenient location with plentiful parking. I highly recommend. read more

This review is for the doctor's office and staff--I rarely leave reviews for places that aren't food related, but the receptionist here was phenomenal. :) The staff was very professional and the receptionist proactively looked into what my insurance covered. The doctor was kind and thorough, I did not feel rushed like I usually do chatting with doctors. Plenty of parking as it's located in a shopping center across from the mall. Got my glasses through One Sight program which LensCrafters participates in. I am very grateful to the One Sight program for my glasses. First pair of glasses from another LensCrafters fell apart. So I went to the LensCrafters In Springfield to see what could be done. They were nice and ordered a second pair of glasses for me. Second pair by LensCrafters seems crooked on my face and manager did not adjust properly. I had big red mark on the side of my nose. Manager did not give me a receipt either. That made it clear to me that since I am a charity case, I am not worth their craftsmanship, time or attention. Glasses still are not right. I don't see well and this is very disappointing. I don't have a car so not easy to travel back and forth to LensCrafters. read more

This review is for Mary. When I sat down to ring out she took one look at my insurance card and said "First of all, we don't take that insurance", without even looking up my file. When I told her I've been to this LensCrafters several times she then looked up my file and said "oh okay we do take it." No apology, no acknowledgment that she just hastily blurted something out without even checking my file. I was getting frames and up until now my insurance had fully covered the charges but this time she was saying there were portions which aren't covered. That's fine but when we asked about it she got defensive and started waving her hands and fingers in my face. I'm fine with the charges but I have a right to ask questions on what I'm being charged. She was unprofessional, rude, and incredibly condescending. If she has a problem with customers asking questions when they're confused, she's in the wrong line of business. The associate here are nice and willing to assist the people that enter the door. They will fix your glasses even though you did not get them there. The quality of glasses here are top notch. I have been going to the doctor's office for many years. I only stopped buying my glasses here cause my momma don't pay for my glasses no mo. They are quite pricy but worth the penny. read more

My wife and were both looking for a new optometrist and eyeglass store. After getting my exam next door (a great experience), I came to LensCrafters, was greeted right away, and offered help. The product selection was much better than my local eyeglass store, by a lot. Once I found a few choices to pursue, Sara stepped in to help - she did a fantastic job walking me through options, recommendations, and my insurance coverage. Came here for prescription glasses, they have wide selection of glasses with major designer brands. The frames are range from $100-$250 depending on the brand and they accept major insurances. I have been using this LensCrafters for about 3 years. The staff here is very friendly. The customer service is consistently very good. I purchased a pair of progressive bifocals about 3 years ago. I could see the distortion in my field of view, and couldn't get used to it. I swapped the single pair of bifocals for two pair of glasses--one distance and one reading--at no cost. I think I even got some money back because the two pair were cheaper. I am rough on my glasses and have been back in perhaps 4 or 5 times since then to have my frames fixed or adjusted, all at no charge. These guys stand behind their products. We had such a pleasant experience here for our 6 y/o glass shopping experience. Staff was SO friendly. They explained everything upon entry. Showed us their selections. They had so many choices of frames and colors for a 6 y/o. They made the process seamless processing our insurance and explaining all price points etc. Store itself is so open, clean, and bright. frames are displayed well and they clean after each try ons. I was not walked through the different types of lens and their uses. I would have made a different choice then what I got. i was told the just chose my frames and no help was given. I sit at a computer all day. I didnt know to even ask about what do you need the glasses for. I am a first timer doing this. First, Dr, Kim next door at eye exam office was very thorough professional, and their equipment seemed state of the art. Second, the choice of lenses at store was good, though bit pricier than Visionworks. My complex lens alone cost $630! But insurance reduced my final total eyeglasses co-pay to $300. Why glasses so expensive? Staff has good communication. I liked that they collected and wiped down every eyeglass frame customers touched. Store was immaculate. read more

I have been coming to this location for about 5 years. I typically only come in the store once or twice a year and it's not bad, but the last experience I had was exceptional! I experienced a problem with my anti-glare coating. I had not purchased the extended warranty. The manager Arsenio was very friendly and he looked at my glasses and said let me see what I can do. Now it is less than one week later and I have new lenses in my frames at no cost to me. I will definitely be coming back here again. Well done! read more

This review is based on a quick visit of convenience but I received a surprisingly great level of customer service from the staff here. One of the little gel nose pads tore off my glasses and slipped off the little arm somewhere onto the ground in the car park. I tried to wear them as-is but the bare arm dug into my face uncomfortably. Luckily I spotted this Lens Crafters branch and popped inside in the hope of a walk-in repair. I was greeted by a chap in a suit before the door even closed behind me. I showed him my glasses and as I began to explain he reached for them and excused himself. He was barely gone a minute when he returned and then replaced both the wee nose pads. He then turned them over to me and asked me to try them on. He checked them over and then molded the legs of the glasses so they would sit better on my stupid face. And that was it! I was unsure what to do in terms of a fee because after I walked in we didn't even discus cost to fix. Again he just intervened and said no thank you no charge as he felt it was a wee repair and just wished me a good day. I thought that was brilliant customer service and told him so. And similarly he didn't try to use the service as a way to expect me to get an eye exam or purchase anything on this visit. I was quite happy with the quality of customer service. I was in a hurry to leave the area generally so I thanked him and made a mental note to make further later inquiries about eye exams and the range/cost of new glasses here. I visited LensCrafters on Monday, March 23, 2020. I had accidentally bent the frame of my new glasses. I wasn't sure if the frame was salvageable. I called the store and spoke with Rachael to see if I could come in and get the frames fixed. Rachael was extremely friendly and told me to come in anytime that afternoon and they would take care of me. When I got to the store, I was helped right away by the store's lab manager, Magdiel Delgado. Not only were Magdiel and Rachael both pleasures to speak with while I was in the store, but Magdiel also did an outstanding job fixing my glasses! I went in to look for glasses during the holiday season which for a lot of folks is when they are trying to use up their Health Savings Account money. I was one of them. I went in and was immediately greeted and given room to walk around and try on glasses. They have a great selection at this location. Many of the frames are designer and tend to be in the $100+ range but in terms of style, I enjoyed the range of the selection. It was hard for me to narrow it down to 2 choices which I then consulted with the sales floor to see which one looked best. I was helped by a nice young man who tried very hard to process my order despite the fact that their computer system went down. He said he would keep my information on file and call me the next day in order to get payment. He did and was very courteous. My glasses look amazing and I have gotten many great compliments. read more

Went in today. The arm on my glasses had broken while I was out of town and I repaired it with Krazy Glue. But then they wouldn't fold, so I needed new frames. I swear I was there for 20 mins or less. They had the near exact frames, popped by lenses in. My insurance (Aetna) had a good discount, and I was on my way. They were so helpful, nice and efficient - a great experience! I've been going there for years and will definitely go back! read more

July 2021 - went to Lenscrafters after visiting Vision Works at Springfield Mall (and being disappointment in their service) and was pleasantly surprised by the service Sal provided as soon as you walked in the store. His friendliness and professionalism were superb. He explained everything as I was just getting lenses and he even came up with a discount. He is the reason that I would go back there. It was interesting in picking up the glasses how things have changed. They used to sit with you and make sure the frames are straight and adjusted just right. Picking up completed glasses (Sal was not there), the person just stood up and gave me the glasses and realized they needed adjustment and took care of it. The sales people inside the Lens crafters are good. Please read my below review about next doors doctor (Richard Filipowski). Don't ever go to him if your eyes are important to you. Don't even bother going to this doctor. Richard Filipowski doesn't know how to get your eyes examined. I visited his office on May 17. The result of his prescription was giving me a severe headache as I had to go to bed after 8 hrs work. Like straight to bed while getting some pain relief medicine for three weeks in a row. After I visited a local doctor in Woodbridge she found out that the prescription was way too strong for me. I visited RICHARD FILIPOWSKI just to let him know to do better. However he didn't take my comment he got rude and offensive. Please go somewhere else to take good care of your eyes. Don't just waste money here. read more

The layout of this business is pretty decent. They have a nice selection of glasses. The people working there were professional and respectful. They helped me find a frame that I thought was nice. They were patient with me as I was indecisive on actually purchasing them. Finally, I did. I was disappointed that I had to call them to see if my glasses were ready. My experience has always been that received a call when my glasses arrived. I had the feeling that, had I not called, I would still be waiting for them. Usually, when you pick up glasses, the professional has you try them on and make adjustments. At this location, they simply handed them to me and sent me on my way. I didn't appreciate that. I ended up going to the Potomac Mills location (where they were friendlier to me) and had them adjust the glasses to fit me properly. Later, I didn't find the glasses up to my satisfaction. There was blurriness in the lenses that would not go away. And after speaking with the people at this office, I was left with the impression that it might take several visits to fix them. I didn't feel very confident working with this staff to resolve my issues with the lenses on the new glasses. I think the people here are pretty kind, but they are not a good fit for me. I must say that the reason they receive a five is that their return process was smooth and efficient, with no hassles. That was thanks to the store manager. I very much appreciated that. read more

I called in a few times and asked why it was taking so long. Not only did they get me a pair but BRAND NEW with NO CHARGE. LensCrafters branded lenses are the worst!! When I went in for the appointment, the lady explained the lenses to me, but also told me they were comparable to the Varilux lenses, but at a much better price. These lenses are NOWHERE near the quality they lead me to believe they would be. While I can see through them, they seem like they are permanently streaked and can't actually be cleaned...and I've tried everything. When you spray the lens with lens cleaner, you can actually see the marks from where the lenses were held in place when they were ground down (or whatever you call it) to make my prescription...they totally suck. The frames are Oakley and are awesome, but the lenses ruin it...so much so that I have kept using my old glasses. Definitely won't be buying those again! read more

I walked in with a broken pair of glasses that weren't purchased with LensCrafters and walked out with a brand new pair with better lenses being made and no out of pocket costs. I was in need of a pair of wraparound sunglasses to wear when riding my motorcycle. I loved the Maui Jim's at Lenscrafters. Unfortunately, they could not do lined bifocals or trifocals, only a progressive bifocal lens. Since I would be using these outdoors and indoors I decided on graduated density lens, dark on the top and light on the bottom. When I went to pick up my glasses they were not as I ordered. The glasses were allegedly dark tint on the top lighter in the middle and back to a dark tint on the bottom. Strange to have stratified graduations like that. The young lady who waited on me could have cared less whether I was a customer or not. She offered no apologies and blamed a mistake on the initial sales person. There was no offer to fix it, or ask me how they could make it right. She coldly ask for my credit card but didn't tell me why. She issued me a full $580 refund and sent me on my way. It was obvious from my experience and others who have written reviews, these young employees have received no customer service training that reflect poor management. Hopefully other lenscrafters are better managed. read more
