I came here for my annual eye exam. I booked the appointment online. Once I arrived for the appointment, I was greeted promptly. All of the staff I interacted with were nice and helpful. I picked out my glasses and picked them up in a little under two weeks. They have so many stylish frames to choose from. I do think it was a bit overkill to request insurance information three times, but other than that, everything was fine. I like that parking is easy to find in this area and you don't have to pay to do so. read more

Easy scheduling for a last-minute eye exam. The doctor was easy to work with and the exam was quick. The office and store was clean, and parking was easy. Took off 1 star as the sales person said there weren't frames available within my insurance's $150. That being said, I still recommend going here for an exam and taking your prescription elsewhere, if you prefer to shop for frames at a store that has more of a range of prices. read more

My daughter came here for her first eye doctors appointment since Covid started. Very professional. Clean and the staff are friendly. It took almost 2 months for her glasses to come in due to covid and the snow storm etc.... We of course will be returning for future visits. read more

If I could I'd give this place a 0 star. It has taken me months to write this review because I get mad just remembering. I came here to buy myself good glasses and ended up paying around more than 800 And was ready to leave my Walmart glasses behind. One month later they rusted off. And tried to blame me because I "had kids" . Im sorry but i take care of my things and my lens were not broken. They rusted off. I don't know how that's a kid problem. Either way they would not help me repair them instead afford to exchange me with Gucci glasses? But can't fix them? I have a round shaped face so it's hard to find glasses and I paid for the ones I got. My Walmart glasses lasted me 4 years and these lasted 1 month. Do not come here. We had a small eye injury issue New Year's Eve. You know when people talk about thus and so being better than a sharp stick in the eye? They are absolutely right! However, the care here by all the staff made up for that situation handily. Everyone from the kind person helping us set up the appointment to the Doctor explaining the different care options, was caring, smart and calm. This location is close to the Wegmans and right down the street from my apartment which is very convenient. This place is pretty good when it comes to eye exams and getting glasses. I've never had to wait long when being seen and looking at the frames after the exam. I came in to do my annual exam and only waited 3min before I was seen and began my exam. The tests are pretty straightforward and easy if you're familiar with the eye exams. They offer other specialized tests to help with possible issues with your eye, so they are worth to have done if your family has a history. Customer service wise, they did a great job and I would definitely recommend this establishment! read more

I can't recommend this practice/store enough. My wife and I made an appointment because I was unhappy with our previous optometrist, as they couldn't get my vision in one eye to be clear. Dr. Le was much more patient and deliberate with adjusting my prescription, taking the time to really fine-tune it, and was able to get me to 20-20 vision. She also corrected a misdiagnosis that my previous optometrist had given me (he said I had an epiretinal membrane). When I walked back into the lobby after seeing the doctor, Tan already had five different frames picked out that he thought would look good on me. All five frames looked way better on me than the frames I had previously picked for myself shopping online. It's a good thing my wife was there to help me narrow it down to two frames, because I would have had a hard time by myself because they all looked great on me. Same story for the frames he picked for her--they all looked fantastic on her. The whole process was so easy. We've definitely found our new eye doctor. read more

Not long ago in an optometry corner far far away..... 'Twas time that I invest on a pair of eyeglasses as my father did before me (couldn't resist). True this area's a unit of distance for us but it's a last-minute decision while on the road. Hubs' ground-force suggested eye2eye since they accept our insurance (Cigna Vision). Fortunately when he called they were able to schedule an eye exam appointment w/in a few minutes. Lucky, we were, on this rainy weekday. e2e's front desk patient care/insurance coordinator was friendly and efficient. We breezed through the full-scale paperwork and the routine vision screening phase before seeing Dr. VyVy Doan. The ways of Dr. Doan were personable and informative. She didn't try but did take the time to ask me questions after we had a brief conversation of my visual history and current concerns. Her easygoing yet professional approach will be welcoming to future clients in this brand new shopping center. The odds were successful that Tanim (tuh-NEEM) will join me in finding my ideal glasses. He listened and selected frames according to my preferences. His understanding of form and fit to my face made this a pleasant experience. I was hoping to find a retro geeky-chic eyeglass frame from Ray-Ban but no. There is another. Dolabany. Sardi style. Uber lightweight. Italian Zyl. Not a mainstream brand but woot we stayed on target. Prices, combined w/insurance coverage and seasonal promotions, were comparable to local competitors. Check their web site for more info. If you get a disturbance in the GPS-force, change the destination to the Alexandria Wegmans. eye2eye is across the street. This new location is in the Hilltop Village Center which is also brand new w/new roads. So as the coordinator guided earlier by phone, look for the path to Wegmans. Due to the holiday season schedule, hubs will return to pick up the eyeglasses w/in 2 weeks. Went there today and got my vision checked. I have to give a huge compliment to the entire staff, everyone was so genuinely nice, patient and understanding since i had my wild 4 year old with me. Nobody judged me, for not having him under control but also laughing and joking with him. But also that everyone gave their honest opinion about a few frames i picked but couldn't decide which one to choose. Overall probably the most friendliest place i went to, since i moved here! Also their frames a great, awesome name brand frames. And also some extra tests you can get done, to get the health of your eyes checked! 5 Stars!! read more

The folks at Eye2eye were very professional from just stopping in without an appt. to conservations with the receptionist on the phone for a follow up. Paula De Loza was AWESOME!!!! On my first visit she immediately found me a pair of very nice glasses to fit my narrow face. Had been to various other locations looking for glasses, but found nothing until meeting Paula at Eye2eye. Returned for a 2nd fit and finalize the purchase at which time Paula found me a 2nd pair that I loved just as much. Rarely do I have such a positive experience at a provider that I want to shout it from the rooftops, but I love this practice. Dr. Scranton is - there's really no other word for it - FUN. Not only is he good at what he does, visiting him is a delight and I always leave in a good mood. Beyond that I've had nothing but positive experiences with the office staff in Del Ray. They're pleasant to deal with and when I emailed asking for an electronic copy of my prescription I had it within 10 minutes. read more

Receptionist was incredibly rude to me and my two children, as if we were inconveniencing her by being there a few minutes before the first appt of the day. She wasn't ready to check us in and was pretty unwelcoming. The young man that did the pre check before the Dr. was polite and treated us respectfully. He was the saving grace of the morning because the Dr. herself had zero personality. No greeting, no small talk, just barked orders at my children and acted frustrated when my 11 year old was having a hard time with keeping his eyes open. Such an unpleasant experience. This place is wonderful. I had originally wanted an appointment at the Del Ray office. I am so happy they didn't have an appointment available and I went to this new office instead. This place is brand new. So it was pretty quiet (had an appointment, but no wait). The staff was super knowledgeable and nice. They answered my questions and had great friendly personalities. The kind where we were fast friends. The first visit was great (the guy's laugh is hilarious) and the second visit was nice too (he was so nice with the fitting and making sure everything was clean). Two different groups of staff, but same great service. When I came back, I walked away with a pair of new glasses and sunglasses. Also, if you are type that are picky, I saw one of the eyeglass guys being so so so patient while another person was crying for some reason. Not because she didn't have great glasses and looked very nice, but something to do with the fit. He kept adjusting until she was happy. It was so nice of him. I will keep going back! read more

I must have been having a rough day when I scheduled my appointment at Eye2eye. I came in today to discover I had booked the appointment for a week later... at the other location... oops. Luckily, Dr. Scranton was available so I was able to still have my eye appointment! The guys were quick, professional, warm, and friendly. I didn't feel like trying on glasses this afternoon, but I'll definitely be back to pick out a pair (my current ones are from 2004...!) I wasn't pressured to buy contacts or glasses there at the time which was also nice. I'm happy to say I found my new optometry place! This place was recommended to me by a friend and I'm so glad I switched. We moved from Herndon to Annandale and I was in need of a visit because I totally flaked on using my eye insurance last year due to COVID. All of the "first time" paperwork I was able to submit electronically before the visit (yay technology helping us be safe during COVID) and as soon as I walked in and answered the "How can we help" question with "I have an appointment" I was greeted by my first name. It may seem inconsequential but after my last eye doctor it was nice having someone acknowledge me. After all the routine eye exam (including the dreaded air puff test) Dr. Le took the time to actually go through everything with me, including pulling up photos on google to compare the good vs. bad. I literally told her how much I appreciate her taking the time to do so because in my 33 years I've never had the eye doctor even bother explaining what's wrong with my eyes. After all the actual appointment stuff browsing through the selection of different lenses they have was a fun way to spend the rest of the afternoon/I had absolutely no desire to go back to work. I had one of the employees, Tan, help me pick out the perfect set of lenses for me. It was like when you have a super trusted hairstylist and just get to say "you pick." My eye doctor retired and I was looking for a new doctor/practice. I found eye2eye Hiltop on Yelp and noticed the great reviews. Seeing it wasn't far from Kingstowne, I called and made an appointment. The receptionist was really nice and told me I could go online and print out the new patient forms to fill out. When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted right way and noticed how bright and nice the office was. I had all my paperwork done ahead of time so they were able to quickly check me in. Diane (I think that was her name), did the initial part of my exam, like testing my peripheral vision etc. She was really nice, professional and explained what each test was. She then took me to the exam room. I met with Dr. Adamopolous and was quickly impressed. She was easy to talk, had a great "bed side" manner and did a thorough exam. For example, she noticed I was in a boot and asked what happened to my foot. I appreciated that she asked how I was and what happened. Also, after she was done with the exam, she asked if there was anything else I wanted to discuss. Again, I was very impressed with patient care. After the exam was done, Dr. Adamopolous introduced me to Michael to go over what glasses they had. Michael was awesome!! I never had such a great experience with an eye exam as well as shopping for glasses. Michael treats you like a friend, not just patient and made the shopping experience fun. Also, the staff was getting ready for an event and set up some tasty drinks/snacks. While Michael was helping me, someone else (don't know her name, sorry), offered me a snack and brought it over to where I was sitting. I ended up picking out glasses and sunglasses and can't wait till they come in! This is by far the best service me and my son had. Micheal and the two front desk staff were very helpful and welcoming. My son came in to find some glasses. He found a great pair and Micheal went over all of my benifits for my son. The front office staff as well as Micheal noticed my son's prescription was not right. So they tried to call the doctors office that wrote it with no success. Micheal suggest that I get my sons eyes rechecked beacuse there was no way he should need those type of lenses. They made me an appointment for him to do a recheck and I am so happy I did. Dr. Scranton was amazing. He made the correct changes to my son prescription and I got my sons glasses ordered. I bought designer glasses from this place and I loved them! Generally this place has excellent options and knowledgeable employees. Reason I give it 1 star is because I went in there a couple months after buying glasses because the screws were loose and no one else was in the store except for one couple and the technician ignored me for 30mins because of some TMZ based conversation he was having with the one other couple in the store. I lost countless brain cells listening to their stupid superficial conversation for 30mins. I can appreciate a business that connects with their customers but not at the expense of the other customers in the store. read more

I am grateful for his advocacy on my behalf and for the doctor's approval. I think this was an honest misunderstanding. Also a cautionary tale. My usual eye doctor no longer does examinations for contact lenses but referred me to this place. Everything was all well and good as is normal with contact lens examinations. I realized a month later that I needed to get more of a product for dry eyes that I've been using for a couple years, prescribed by my previous doctor however it is over-the-counter. I wanted to use my FSA to purchase another supply so I called and asked for a prescription. Was told that the doctor was not in they would leave a message and get back to me. Upon the return call I was told that I had to come back in for another examination that my insurance company would not pay for by the way and that it was "illegal" to provide me with that prescription because this doctor didn't diagnose me. I was told they were going to have the eye doctor call me back which she did, and left a message saying she would leave a prescription for me. I went in to pick up the prescription and it was not the product that I requested. When I pointed it out to them she went back and spoke to the other doctor that was there and came back with a new prescription for one product rather than the four I requested. I have been wearing contact lens for a very very long time and I have never experienced the customer service that I did with this place. It's too bad that my usual eye Doctor no longer does contact lenses. Unfortunately I have no idea the name of the doctor that provided me the prescription because the hand writing was totally illegible. I suspect it was the owner because they never came out to even introduce themselves. I do want to add there is absolutely nothing here against Dr. Ingle she was very pleasant. read more

Very good in all ways. Intake, doctor and follow up salesman all friendly, professional, not pushy or slow. I'd give five stars but when I was there, in December, there was a sales display of 'funny' socks. Although that's outside of eye care, not a problem. Many were vulgar humor with profanity. Had my first visit at Eye2Eye and I am very impressed. Everyone there was polite, not pushy and very knowledgeable. Doctor actually tried two different pairs of contacts to make sure he gave me a prescription that worked for me. Lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Lady who did my initial tests was extremely efficient and yet polite. Gentleman who handled my final check-out was so friendly and not at all pushy about getting me to buy glasses, yet his demeanor almost made me consider upgrading my glasses even though I didn't need to.
