I went here because the glasses were cute and there was an optometrist on site. My review is mainly for the Optical retail store, but I didn't think the optometrist, Dr. Nguyen, was particularly great either. She seemed rushed and not interested in helping someone who has never had glasses before understand what type they need. After my exam I went into the optical store to try on and order glasses. The woman working (short grey bob haircut, I didn't get her name) seemed annoyed to have a customer interrupt whatever she was listening to on her AirPods, which she never removed from her ears. She was even less helpful than the optometrist. Nevertheless, I ordered 2 pairs of glasses. I did notice when she measured my PD with the iPad, she had me look directly at the camera lens the whole time. After ordering my glasses, my friend and I went to LensCrafters across the street where she got her's. It was an INFINITELY better experience. We also noticed that when they measured her PD they had her look at the top center of the iPad when looking head-on, then at the camera lens when turning her head. She walked away with her glasses that day and they were perfect. When my first pair arrived at Target a week later, I was excited to go pick them up. The same woman with the grey bob was working and seemed just as disinterested in customers as she had the first time. Again, kept her AirPods in the whole time. She got my glasses and gave them to me, but wasn't helpful and didn't have time for me, even though she wasn't helping anyone else. The lenses weren't even clean. They were dusty and had some kind of film on them that she didn't take the time to wipe off. When I tried the glasses on they were awful (after cleaning them myself lol), I thought it was the wrong prescription or type of glasses. I couldn't see anything. My vision is so much better without them. I asked her if maybe the PD was off and she said, "No, that's done with the computer." (But after experiencing how they measure it at LensCrafters, I wonder...) She told me to get my prescription checked but that the dr. would probably want me to try them for a week first. I left with the glasses apprehensively and went to see if the optometrist was there, but she was closed. I knew there was no way I would ever wear these glasses, even if the optometrist wanted me to try them, so I went back and returned them and the second pair that hadn't arrived yet because I didn't trust how they were going to come in. Very disappointed because, like I said, the glasses were cute. However, I found one of the same pair at LensCrafters across the street and they're great. Save yourself the irritation of buying glasses here and dealing with people who are bored with their jobs and just miserable in general. read more
