I'm aware that there are things they cannot control. I really hope I'm a one off here. I thought I had found my go-to place for eye appointments, but I can't keep waiting 6+ weeks for glasses no matter how much I liked the staff. To put this in perspective, my parents went somewhere else for their eye appointments a week after I did and got their glasses within 8 days. She ignored my statement - "just wear them for a week and then bring them back if there is a problem and we will fix it." I returned 2 days later after almost falling down a flight of stairs. The next rep was kind enough to look at the glasses I currently had and used it for measurement. I was advised it would take 10 days. I called on 5/11 and was informed they were not there. I waited another week to find out the glasses would be there today -5/19. Now to try to pick up my glasses (office is closed on Wednesday) before 6 pm with traffic is precarious and I am leaving town on 5/22 and really need the glasses. Overall, the experience for the exam was excellent, the service thereafter not so much. I have already recommended several people and hopefully it will go a lot smoother. I hope this can be a learning moment for the new business in Dumfries. UPDATE: I added two stars. Waheed reached out to me directly after reading the review. The eye exam is stress free and she always prescribes disposable contacts for me that fit well and are easy for my schedule. I've been seeing her for several years and wouldn't dare go back to my previous optometrist who tried to convince me that I needed to wear hard contacts for eternity. Her hours are flexible and include Saturday appointments. I think the location is great since you can still shop at outlets with dilated pupils for hours (while barely seeing the pricetag)!

They showed no urgency in completing the prior authorization process, gave conflicting information, and outright changed their story after the fact. To make matters worse, the new prescription they claimed they were sending was never even sent to the pharmacy. The level of disorganization, lack of accountability, and poor customer service was shocking. When patients are trusting you with their health, there should be follow-through, communication, and professionalism. Instead, this experience felt careless, dismissive, and completely frustrating from start to finish.
