I just knew by it being cold and late, I was gonna wait a million years before someone came to my car.... NOT AT ALL!!! I waited for about 5mins and the young man was coming to my car with my groceries. He was so polite and gentle with my eggs and bread. This was my first time to targets drive up and I must say I will definitely use it again. Nothing like other stores that I've used in the pass when you get home and everything is not in your bag. This was not the case. I got everything I ordered read more

This Target has a Starbucks now! I just noticed it! I know it wasn't there the last time I came in! And I have a feeling that this is one of three reasons why Clearview Mall remains open. The rest of the mall has been hit by the zombie apocalypse. They have bins for recycling plastic, glass and soda cans by both entrances. The entrance by Veterans is unpleasant due to the traffic in the parking lot, and I really believe that people forget how to drive in parking lots. I usually go to the parking garage and then enter on the 3rd floor of the garage into the 2nd floor of the Target. The registers are usually quicker there as well. It is a bit on the small side, though it is two floors because of the space given in the mall. But, you can find anything you need quickly and easily. There is just less stock. I always love browsing every time I come, just to see what is new and hot. The aisles are free from debris and they seem to make sure to not have the stock needing to be put out in the middle of everything, which is nice. There isn't much not to like about this Target. read more

i have never been to a target that is so chronically out of milk..... they already don't have as big a selection as other targets especially grocery-wise (plenty of kids clothes though!! they recently took over 2 more grocery aisles with kids stuff!!) but the shelves are so bare and messy. don't bother even looking for packs of chicken breasts. or even cabbage. they won't have it read more

Maybe the blush of new love is over. Yes, I'm still a fan of this Target, but not as enamored as I once was. It's common to find entire sections devoid of stock. And some areas look like a tornado has just swept through and everything is a jumble. On my last visit the store was the dirtiest I've ever seen it and it wasn't even a big sale weekend or anything. The staff is generally helpful. I still like the basket escalators (when they work) and I still go when I need to stock up on housewares and groceries and cleaning products. But I wish this store would get a little bit of TLC. 3.5 stars. read more

The choice between a sheltered parking garage in the rear or the open air lot in the from is very smart and convenient. The parking garage is always well lit, clean, security cameras and a roving security officer. There are two levels of shopping with a choice between escalator or elevator. I always get entertained with the shopping carts having their own mode of transportation when I choose escalator. Finally, location location, location! This Target(Targét for New Orleans folks) is annexed to a lot more. Since it is a part of The Clearview Mall you can venture out to: GNC Nutrition, Bed Bath and Beyond, Sears, AMC Palace Theatres, Smoothie King, etc. read more

One of the best Target in the city, bathroom upstairs and downstairs are always clean also.

This is the largest Target in the area. Two floors in an old department store at the mall. It is so big that it even has an escalator for your cart!! And if that isn't fancy enough...This location sells BEER & WINE!!!!! They have a pretty large grocery department in addition to all of the other things that you come to a store like this for, the usual selection of cute household things, games, gifts for weddings and baby showers, cheap clothes and cat litter at great prices. I am a fan. read more

I like Target but this is not the best example. Stock is very low, story is a bit disorganized. I was trying to get a desk and needed help. I couldn't fine anyone for 10 minutes. The the guy said he would be right there. 10 minutes later I go looking for him. Not to be found. Went to customer service, stood in line, sent me back to furniture with a guy with cart, by then someone else had taken the desk I wanted. Employee looked up and found another in the back, brought it to my car, got it home, unpacked to build...wrong desk. Oy! The Kenner store is so much nicer than the Metairie version. I'm not sure why. read more

Target - Yes I do need help. Can't find anyone and no phone to call. Talked to a guy 15 minutes ago that was supposed to be on his way. - Department Stores Near Me - Metairie, Louisiana

Used the pick up area after ordering online, forgot the toothpaste from our order, when we corrected them they brought us a two pack when we had bought a three, had to wait even longer for our toothpaste. But in the end we got an extra toothpaste (4 in total) so cut some slack and gave them a three star review instead of a two star review. read more

Big store, but not kept organized. Racks all over the place and aisles chopped up. They probably have what you want, but it is hard to find. The store looks like a toddler's playroom. read more

Explain why they have order pick up then make the customer stand in line with everyone returning, in this case 12 people, instead of having an express pick up line. I've now waited more than 20 minutes to get my one box of diapers- I could have parked, shopped and paid in less time. It's a terrible system and not customer friendly. read more

This is my go-to location due to the proximity to my house, but I feel like it's gone down in the last 3-6 months. The staff is great, but whoever is ordering products for the store isn't doing a great job. At different times things like oatmeal and the dairy case have been completely empty. I hope this improves soon. read more

I'm not sure if this a transition period for this mega store or what, but I used to think that Target was that step up from Walmart where I could find all sorts of needed items as well as some cute, affordable wardrobe options and always a cute swimsuit every year. Right now it looks like their focusing more on accessories and have downsized their ladies clothing area. I didn't even see swimsuits! I swear I was there a couple of weeks ago, and felt I needed to eat a wee bit less pizza before trying on suits. Alas, they were not there this time! I think they have a cute accessories area near the elevators so I'm not sure why they've extended this section. It looks like Cher Horowitz from Clueless was robbed. And yes the remaining accessories look like they were hers. Again, I hope it's just a transition because they've got around 4 huge racks of last season's clothing. I also was in the market for an eyebrow wax. (Yes, putting it out there y'all. I got some bushy eyebrows that need taming). Couldn't find this near the tweezers or the razors area. I also was in search of bags to store my winter clothes in, and couldn't find those either. I know these are trivial things but this makes going to Target, instead of other big brand stores or even Amazon, for a range of things kind of a pain. I'll be back to see if I can update this bad boy because I really do love their swimsuits. If you see said suits, let me know! read more

Have a good grocery section upstairs. I like the cool basket escalators too! The store is bright and clean. The electronic section isn't as good as Walmart's in my opinion. They have a parking ramp connected to back of the store, but there is no covered walkway for 100 ft. if its raining. We could not find the shoe section, which we went there to purchase? read more

Go to target around this area, all in all could be worse. My only complaint is parking but that's not too bad most of the time either. The Starbucks inside leaves a lot to be desired but there's a PJs right outside also. read more

The only Target on the east bank in the GNO area so there you go. I like that it is multi level and mainly because I enjoy watching people being confused at how the carry lift works. Literally just push it on and pull it off, lol. Upstairs you can find grocery, electronics, sporting goods, and clothing. Down stairs is where the women's clothes are along with accessories, home goods, stationary, pharmacy, and everything else. Parking is always fine because there are so many options. I don't know exactly how many levels are in the garage because I refused to go past the level with the door to the upper level of the store but there are more than 3. read more

As far as target goes, this is a pretty good one, and I love Target. It has 2 floors and everything you need and don't need but really want all in one place. When I go to Target I come out with about 18 things I don't need. This target is well organized and normally not a mess. It gets very busy on the weekend, to the point where there aren't even any carts left. The staff is always very helpful and checkout is easy. Returns are super easy too, you don't even need your receipt if you have the card that you bought it with. read more

I have never been to this Target before. I had a great experience and found all that I was looking for pretty quick. It's attached to the Clearview Mall, so you can actually access the mall area through the side of the store. It's perfect! There is parking in the front and the back, too. The staff member who helped me out was so nice and directed me to exactly what I was looking for, so I was in and outta there in a jiffy. This was a smaller Target store than the ones I'm used to. No, it's not a Target Supercenter. I love those, BTW. When it comes to choosing where to shop, not based on convenience, I always choose Target over Walmart. This one was pretty easy access to the interstate + if you need to shop for other things, like I said, they have the mall adjacent to it. Not sure how it is during the non-holiday season, but it cashiers were plentiful. I'm guessing they hire extra staff during the holiday rush season. Overall, I had a great experience here =) read more

Cashier upstairs talking with friends and taking forever to scan my 1 item when I have places to go. I'm standing at order pickup since I ordered an item hours ago and it's not ready after the app clearly said it was ready. I'm running late because of this disorganization. What's the point of ordering ahead? And then everyone at pickup doesn't seem to have good social/communication skills. read more

Wow is all I can say about this one. Y'all, I went into a target, with full intention of purchasing some things. I couldn't find a single thing. This place is trashed. Absolutely no merchandising standards. The back isles were blocked with so many carts, I couldn't walk around them, let alone get a cart through there. There were boxes on everything. Opened and left there. Not even empty. There was product strewn throughout the isles. Made navigating the store very difficult. Up stairs was just as much of a nightmare. The kids clearance shelves were disheveled and no attempt at organizing. It seemed as if the clothes were just tossed there on the rack and shelves. Now, there were plenty of employees. Never saw one by his/her self. They were walking around in pairs. Maybe trying to get their steps in for the day? I'm not too sure. It was 9:30am on a Wednesday that I visited this store. This place is an accident waiting to happen. Someone could trip, fall and sue! So much crap everywhere. read more

Excellent, fast service! I had a return and the rep got through the few people in lines within minutes!

The Clearview store refuses to have 1 attendant upstairs to ring up handicapped and disabled customers. I refuse to ring up my own stuff, even if I wasn't recovering from spinal surgery though because I don't work there and it's not my job. They are refusing to hire enough American workers, and just getting their customers to do that work for free. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS, or it will be your job forever, and when you are recovering from something you get to wait 30 minutes for them to find a human to ring you up. They have no one to ring people up by the easiest access to handicapped parking. I've tried explaining this to 3 different managers multiple times but they refuse to fix anything. They just tell you they will do the scheduling in the future and someone will be there next time, but they never are. They finally admitted they aren't going to put 1 person there for that, and the person watching the self checkout can't ring people up. The managers are incompetent liars, no wonder people are boycotting them. read more

I love Target, but I HATE this location. First of all, its a painful reminder of how we don't have Maison Blanche anymore. This was never meant to be a Target store. You would think a 2 story Target would be awesome, but really its awkward and makes shopping more of a hassle. I really like to get in and get out and its impossible because half the time I'm waiting for my cart to ride up the slow ass cart escalator. The only useful part about the escalators is seeing Natural Selection working in its finest form. If you seriously cannot manage to operate a simple cart escalator, you honestly should die. and I mean that in the worst way possible. I have witnessed countless people completely bewildered by the escalator at Target. I just want so badly to tell them, "You shouldn't be here" and by here I mean Earth. There is also WAY too many people here. Seriously, where is the next plague when you need one? I can barely navigate through the aisles with my cart because there are usually 9 other carts in the same aisle. Even though half of the city seems to be here at all times the cashiers do a great job of getting you out and they always have the appropriate amount of registers open. The staff is always friendly and helpful when you need them. read more

Went to Target today to pick up some supplies for work. The parking lot was PACKED full of people, about 60% of whom were masked up against the spread of COVID-19. Not one social distancing system was set up in the store. They were not allowing only a certain number of people in at a time, as Walmart and other retailers do. It was a free for all pandemonium with people breathing down one another's necks. The store was crowded, the racks were completely destroyed, stock was low, and it was generally awful. While my cashier was behind protective plexiglass at checkout, she was wearing her mask incorrectly, not changing gloves between customers, and I had another shopper standing behind me close enough to touch me. There was no marking on the floor denoting 6 feet. There were no signs advocating for social distancing. Walmart is doing better than you guys are at Target and that is NOT a good look for you. I'm unlikely to ever shop at this location again. read more

Man! My inner white woman just loves a good peruse through Target! They got...well....EVERYTHING! You know in the movie The Little Mermaid when Ariel is singing Part Of Your World and she's like swimming around all the trinkets she's been collecting in her giant secret cave? That's exactly how walking through Target is for me. Pure retail euphoria: Look at this stuff Isn't it neat? Wouldn't you think my collection's complete? Wouldn't you think I'm the girl The girl who has everything? Look at this trove Treasures untold How many wonders can one cavern hold? Looking around here you think Sure, she's got everything I've got gadgets and gizmos a-plenty I've got whozits and whatzits galore You want thingamabobs? I've got twenty! But who cares? No big deal I want more... There is literally something for everyone even if you are a someone who does not need or want anything at all. Maybe you are a someone who just came for one thing, that is ok, because you will soon be a someone who will leave with twenty things! You can laugh at all the suburban house moms all you want but you KNOW you want to come and shop here too... The only thing that drives me crazy about this location is the parking. Anyone who has ever been to Clearview knows it is no picnic when it comes to their parking lot. However, you can always access target from the 3rd floor on the parking garage level, which is slightly less irritating. read more

I love Target as much as the next white person, but this is definitely a sub par Target. Their grocery selection is OK, but TBH, I'll go to Whole Foods or Winn-Dixie for groceries, not Target. But when I want things like a pillow for my bed, they had absolutely NONE in stock. This doesn't seem like a very exotic item to me... One of the worst things about this store is figuring out the traffic clusterfuck that is the intersection of Veterans Boulevard and Clearview Parkway. Actually, getting here off I-10 is no challenge at all, but getting back on? Forget it. read more

I've been a Target customer for about a gazillion years and I've always loved the store. I still harbor no resentment toward the company generally. HOWEVER, corporate and the local managers really really really need to focus on the cashiers' professionalism, communication, and customer service at this location. About every three months or so, Target is right there when I need something. I go along, happily finding whatever I need and what I don't necessarily need -- almost always at a reasonable price. That's were the two stars begin and end. And then I get to the cashier. It never fails that I get the cashier who is ALWAYS unfriendly. The cashier who is ALWAYS rude. The cashier who clearly has better things to do. The cashier who shows ZERO sense of expediency in any of her operations. The cashier who never smiles -- hell doesn't even make eye contact. The cashier to whom on TWO different trips I had to say "Thank you" TWICE before getting any kind of disinterested miserable response. My last visit this past Saturday, I accidentally entered a cashier's line area which had just closed and was told in the most irritated, snide way possible (verbally and facial appearance) "I'm not open!!" I know it's not anybody's dream job -- but it's a job!! It's a paycheck! At least freaking pretend to like it because itsn't having a job better than not having one???? So, each and every time I leave this store, I remind myself that I HATE this Target and their miserable employees and I'm NEVER coming back!! But, it's similar to delivering a baby -- we mostly forget the pain until we're in it again! A few months go by, I need something, I forget how much I despise the attitudes of the employees at this Target and I go in. Lather, rinse, repeat. read more

This pharmacy section is a joke. The shelves in pharmacy are always half empty like a disaster hit. Some nice kids working in this store but no managers around. Target is target is target. This store can be extremely busy during the weekends. Generally speaking they stock a lot but I personally find the layout choices difficult to understand and therefore shopping takes me a bit longer here. Cleaning supplies downstairs with home decor etc but all other grocery items upstairs? Sure that makes sense from the standpoint of forcing you to go the ought the store - but it is just about aggravating enough for me to shop elsewhere. Generally I pick up laundry items and method products because they do have the best prices in town on these and a fairly consistent stock. Other than that - I'm not a fan and actually dread coming here - lol read more

Ordered a couple of Nintendo 2ds xl for the grandkids. I ordered them on cyber Monday to get a 15% discount but I didn't get the discount so I went to their help desk and texted the problem to a service member. She/he said that it didn't apply to that product. I told the rep that I didn't see that in their cyber Monday add online. So I went back to their home page and I didn't see anything on it that said that. Target - Department Stores Near Me - Metairie, Louisiana

Run of the mill Target. I wish there was one actually in New Orleans, rather than heading to Metairie or Harvey. This one definitely beats the Harvey location. It has two levels, the bottom being: clothing, shoes, pharmacy, home goods, and the top being: grocery. The escalator inside is pretty cool, you can hook your cart on one side while you go up or down the other. Decent selection, it always feels kinda creepily empty. I feel like there are never really any other shoppers in there, which I kind of enjoy, but also feels weird. Really disappointed in the selection of small home items and rugs. I drove all the way out there to buy.... nothing! Bummmmeerrrrr. Always fun to look around Target though, those dollar bins get me every time! read more

This Target is ashamed to be a Target. If this Target was a member of your family it would be your creepy uncle who doesn't say much and always smells like pee. The ceilings are uncharacteristically high which makes the aisle fixtures look short and the inventory sad. Everything here wants to be on sale. Everything here wants to be dusted. The saving grace? The ladies who work in women's clothing. You can say "Hi, I'm in my sixth trimester and I need jeans" and they can look at you and tell you what you need. I love you women's-clothing ladies! read more

I've always been a Target devotee but I'm pretty sure the Target corporation has abandoned this place.  The manager, if there is one, should be ashamed.  It's always understocked - I'm talking entire sections of items missing and the last few times I visited the rudeness of the employees made me swear to myself never to come here again.  I will drive to Kenner or the West Bank or even across the lake before I'll come here again. read more

I think I totally take Target for granted when I'm away from home (I'm from Los Angeles), because they aren't always everywhere! My sister and I drove 10 miles out from where we were just to come here, because we didn't know where else to go to buy a few stinking beanies (the mall or Wal Mart were not preferred destinations). Damn it NOLA, you were colder than we expected. We were able to find a bunch of discounted AND CUTE beanies, as well as scarves and gloves for cheap. Christmas candy was on sale, as well as the Neiman Marcus items. The clearance rack for women's clothing looked tempting, but I had to resist. Target is just a great place to buy stuff for affordable prices! read more

I rarely come here because it's in Metairie and I am not a fan of getting stuck in Metairie traffic because that happens to me way too often. They are two story which can be annoying if you don't know which floor the things you need are on. I do appreciate that they are environmentally conscious and promote recycling but that is not enough to make up for all the areas where they they are not that great. Anyway, they do have a great candle selection and their picture frames are great but it's not worth it to come here just for those things. The parking is crap and people drive/park aggressively in their parking garage. read more
