They are very rude! Went in to get an even exchange for a Christmas gift and I told the man cashier that , that's what I was doing and he precced to do what he wanted to do which was a return I called to speak to the manger and they hung the phone up in my face once I told them what was going on. Love browsing new items here weekly, sale prices are fabulous, designer names for bargain prices, and everything from purses to lingerie to swimwear, pet items, home goods, coats, jewelry and shoes - you can always find the perfect gift or items for entire family in one stop. I was on my way to the park this morning and decided it was too cold so I made a detour to look for a gift idea for a friend. The place was fairly pack with people since it's a Saturday. My friend is a cat lover so I found these cool cute cat reusable bag. I really didn't need anything for myself but I end up taking a look at the shoes rack. They had some Toms on sale and was lucky enough to find a pair in my size! I don't really go to TJ Maxx but I might start to randomly stop by to check their shoes sales. The place reminds me of like a department thrift like store because they pretty much carries everything like luggage, purses, makeup, jewelry, toys, homes, woman's men's kids clothes. Their location is in the Elmwood business section. They are surrounded by many restaurants and other shopping and a gym and kids laser tag. read more

I will say that they do have a lot of nice merchandise. Their home décor items are extensive, and there is something for almost anyone. There are a lot of items to get as gifts, as they do have seasonally appropriate themes that are on display. My most recent visit, I was looking for rain boots. There were a ton for kids. Some for men. None for women, and the smallest men's sizes were still far too large for me. The shoes are well organized, and had I been looking for almost any type of shoe, they had it. Except for saddle oxfords, which always seem to be on my list for my costume ideas, and they had some for kids, but none for women the day I came. I do like their large selection of purses, and when I am looking for a particular style, I can always find something to meet my needs. This TJ Maxx won my heart immediately for the simple fact that their shoe section is organized and not all over the floor. I found some cute pumps that were on sale for $5 and fit me perfectly. They also had a nice selection of flats, although I was not really in the market for them on the day I was here. The checkout went fast and the staff is friendly enough. Honestly, I knew what I was looking for, so I didn't venture into the rest of the store, but I was happy with what I found. read more

There isn't a huge selection, but you can be assured that what you find is usually high quality and low priced." You find a lot of interesting things here, but mainly because the store is a bit unorganized. People love to throw things around and put them in places that don't belong. I don't think they have the staff to man every station at this location. Even though the restrooms were renovated, stalls are still pretty nasty... but all the new signage gives TJ an updated look. I buy something from this TJ about 75% of the time because it's 1) super cheap 2) so cool I gotta have it 3) an item that is/looks exactly like another item but cheaper. read more

For a discount store, I really like this place. I can spend a lot of my time browsing the purses, shoes and home good area. Real name brand purses and the faux named purses are all mixed in. The prices on the purses are already a good deal, but you can get some really good deals in the clearance section. The shoes are very well organized. The sizes are in the area that they're supposed to be in. Who ever organizes the shoes should win an award for that! My favorite is the home good section. There's always a good deal there and a great selection. How many cake pans do I need? All of them! I'm wary about the food products, as I would be with all discount stores. Even though they're dry, how long have they been sitting on a shelf at any store? The only area I hate going through is clothing. It is well organized, but I don't have the patience to go through it. Check out lines can get long, but with the impulse buys available in the line area, I'm easily distracted from the wait. And the line most fairly fast too. read more

I wanted one with spinner wheels. However, the lowest priced one that I found at Macy's was about $180. I found an almost identical one at TJ Maxx for $80. Granted, it's possibly the ugliest shade of blue that I have ever seen, but maybe that's a good thing too... it will stand out on the luggage carousel! read more

Staff was very nice but there was product littered all over the store. There were items falling off the shelves into the isles, carts filled with product in the middle of isles, items just lying in the floor in the middle of isle. The store had a good bit of products but I'm not sure why there was no one staffed to stock and keep products in order. I probably would have spent more time (read: money) had I not been surrounded by clutter everywhere to the point it made my experience less enjoyable. read more

3.5 Stars because I think they have a lot of nice merchandise. I specifically went to this TJ Maxx to continue hunting for pillows for my couch after the TJ Maxx on S. Claiborne was a bust. I must say this is a larger store and they definitely have more merchandise but I still didn't think their pillow selection was that great. I don't think I'm that picky, they just had a lot of mehhh ones and some really ugly ones. All I want is a couple of simple looking neutral colored pillows that has a cover that can be removed so I can wash it because I have dogs. The search continues... read more

My dirty little secret! It's a new day. The days of spending foolishly on garments aRe OVER. I am a maxanista! I believe in maximizing my bucks for fits! TJ Maxx has some of the most stylish brands of clothes. I like everything from the front of the store - luggages to the back - intimates and furniture. I can honestly say that I have never experienced buyers remorse in here. I am proud of that. This is one of the best places to buy swimsuits and coverups. I also really like the work dresses. There is always some dress just hangin on for dear life, waiting for a good owner to take her home. read more

I love TJMaxx! The main parts I purchase items from are the jewelry, shoes, purses, and gifts sections. I have a thing for finding designer sunglasses for a cheap price and you can usually find that here. My only complaint is that people leave their drinks ALL OVER THE STORE AND IT IS DISGUSTING. Also, the bathroom is pretty gross. This location shares it parking with a ton of stores so it might be better to just grab your first parking spot and just walk to TJMAXX and other stores you want to go to. read more

Asked to get a price for 1.6 cologne with damaged/crushed box that even had masking tape holding it together & not marked with a price. Lady brought the larger size of same cologne 3.3 ounce and said it $34 I corrected the worker about the very noticeable difference and they just brought back a whole different scent from the same line and told me it will be 34 dollars. There was no line so there was no reason for the shenanigans. Wal Mart look like a ten in customer service compared to TJ Max. If you just need scan and pay they are good , anything above that then is a mess. read more

This is hit and miss with finding merchandise. If you go early in The morning it is easier to pick through since racks are neat and organized. If you are willing to dig through rack you can easily find awesome deals. Always remember to check the clearance racks. read more

i always have very good luck when coming into tj maxx for my home decor but the staff is just very rude to me. the young teenage girls at the cash register don't even speak to you aside from telling you the price in a very rude tone. i'm pretty sure it's because i'm a young female as well, but i expect the same amount of respect as they gave the male customer in front of me in line....not just a long awkward silence. read more
