When I was finished shopping I got in line where I waited for almost a half an hour because they only had two cashier's working on a Saturday afternoon. This is the first epic failure of the day. when I left the store I ran several other errands so it was a few hours before I realized that the sunglassses Inlayed for were not in any of the bags the cashier handed me, even though I saw her ring them up. The cashier was working very hard and still had somewhat of a pleasant attitude. I think she thoughtfully set the glasses aside so they wouldn't get smashed which I appreciate, they just didn't make the trip back over the counter. In a previous world, the glasses would have been sitting there with my name on them and an apology from a manager that this happened. Unfortunately not at this store, also now would be a good time to mention this is the fourth time this has happened to me. When I returned rot he store later that evening he glasses were sitting back there but I brought the wrong receipt. The so-called manager was not only very unapologetic she was belligerent and rude. I shook this off and returned the next morning with the correct receipt, again there were only two cashhiers working and the line was very long, plus I had already waited in line and paid for these glasses and at this point Marshalls was basically hijacking my personal oroeprty. I got out my phone and called the store and asked to speak the manager. I asked her to for. to the front of the store and retrieve my glasses so I didn't have to wait in line. She again was very belligerent, told me I had to wait in line again to get my glasses and kept repeating over and over that the fact that I had to return to the store to retrieve items that I had already paid for "wasn't her problem." I find it hard to believe that at a time when big box stores are dropping. like flies that Marshalls would allow an individual. who has NO BUSINESS whatsoever working in any customer service related field s the helm. If she is truly the GM of this store I would be surprised. If anyone from the corporate office is reading. these review I would urge you to examine any footage of this incident, you will be appalled.

Holmes and their wonderful 1st floor bakery. - You brought back memories of being on-air-air from the central court of Lakeside with a WDSU live remote. - You brought back fond memories of Maison Blanche (MB)--which was always my favorite store, much to the chagrin of my mom--who often met my dad under the clock at D. H. Holmes on Canal. Of course, the funny thing is that your store was never a Maison Blanche; that was at Clearview. And I knew that when I called to check inventory because I mistakenly asked the operator if this was D. H. Holmes. :-D - You made a memory for my new bride and me to share the unique New Orleans tradition that is Mr. Bingle. But, most of all, you restored my faith in the fine people of New Orleans, which is my adopted hometown although not my birthright. People who will go out of their way for even a small sale to make something they don't understand come true for someone. People often with small pockets but truly big hearts. I frequent Dillard's and Macy's the most, especially when I'm looking for a nice dress and have time to browse and try things on. Overall, it's a convenient and enjoyable shopping experience. I am a frequent Costco customer and shop there at least twice a week. While waiting, I observed an employee preparing food, making smoothies, handling cash transactions, and then returning to food preparation while wearing the same pair of gloves throughout the process. Because I had noticed this behavior on previous visits, I decided to ask about it. I asked whether the gloves were intended to protect customers from germs or protect the employee. The employee responded, "We have a lot of gloves. I just didn't have a chance to change them." That response was concerning. Cash is handled by countless people and can carry dirt, bacteria, and other contaminants. Seeing the same gloves used for food preparation and cash handling defeats the purpose of wearing gloves in the first place. What concerns me most is that this did not appear to be a one-time oversight. I have observed similar practices on multiple visits, which suggests it may be a routine habit rather than an isolated incident. Costco may have food safety policies in place, but policies are only effective when they are consistently followed. Based on what I have repeatedly observed, I am no longer comfortable purchasing food from this location's outdoor food court. I hope management reviews food handling procedures and ensures that proper glove-changing and sanitation practices are consistently followed to protect customers.

They do have some kitsch, and they have a large selection of my favorite laundry additive, so I do have a place close to come for that. They have a large selection for crafting items of all types, and a selection of clearance items that are the better part of 2 aisles. They do not have much of a selection of local crafts, which is something I would like to see locally owned stores having, so that is disappointing. Most of the items are mass produced. It's nice to look at, but there are better values to be made elsewhere, even at the national chain stores.

The only issue I have is that bc it's a smaller store they don't have a refrigerated section of food. The manager is awesome and always opens up a line when the line gets long in the checkout, even if he's supposed to have a break. I also like that their bathrooms are usually pretty clean too!
