I come here almost every weekend and the store is always well stocked and clean (except the bathrooms). The only problem I have is that the cashiers aren't always attentive. Most of the time they're talking to their co-workers about covering shifts which always leaves me with a bad impression of this place but what can you do. Let's just say I'm happy they have self checkout now! I can say that the one time I did have really great customer service, I signed up the RedCard with her. Ok, so I was in Target yesterday and the checker named Sally, asked me if I was interested in a Target card and, I said no thanks, so she asked me how about a Debit card, you get 5% off on your purchases and free shipping on your online purchases ect., sign up was fast and easy and you can still use Cart wheel on some products which is also another 5%,so who wouldn't want this. She is the first person that has told me about the debit card. I love this store and the employees in here are great. Big thank you to SALLY. read more

Folsom Target is so nice n clean, if you are in a rush to grab one thing it sucks they always change, household stuffs all the way in the back it's just a constant change every time u walk in, n employees walked just pass by you if u look lost they don't offer to help unless u ask them. I LOVEEEEEEEEE Target. Even though we have Target in Hawaii, it's just not as fun. There's no dollar section where I spend most of my time in Target on the mainland. There's just random stuff that I never thought I'd need... but I still get it anyway! I browsed their baby section... wasn't as awesome as other Walmarts but then again, the selection at Walmart is huge but you pay for it when you try to get some good ole customer service. I love to look at all their cute clothes even when there's no room in my suitcase to take any back. Cheaper prices at mainland Targets than Hawaii but when you have to fork over almost ten percent for tax, then you kinda are better off getting it in Hawaii. I love their people for the most part... they're friendly and more than willing to help. I will walk for forever in a Target looking for nothing in particular... just ask my husband... he gets bored and I never do! read more

I've always loved this store but for the last month or so each time I come in the shelves are not stocked and 50-70% of the items I came in for are not there. I do not have time to shop at multiple store so I will now need to shop at Walmart (which is my least favorite store). In addition there has only been a few checkers working so the lines have been way to long. I was so hoping that whatever was going on at this Target would have straightened itself out but enough is enough. read more

I was looking for party supplies and was standing in the paper plates section looking at the selection only to find two Target female employees talking and making jokes while at work. I have been going here often for the past 20 years and I feel very comfortable at this store. Their staff are typically friendly and helpful, though there are some exceptions. Their mobile app makes it easy to find items and deals. However, the app can be difficult to use. I made a special trip today since they offered 10% off the total bill for all veterans. This target actually had amazing customer service, maybe its because I usually dont ask for help in other targets but I asked for help in this one and the employee was super helpful. This target is very close to where I work which is convenient because I needed to pick up a baby shower gift and the person opened a baby shower registry at target. For some reason their system for accessing the registry was slow that day but I eventually got it to work. Good thing they have free wifi that I could use when I was waiting for it to load. I could not find the items listed so I asked an employee and he used his barcode scanner and found all 3 of the items I was looking for. He was very helpful and super nice about it. read more

Possibly the worst customer service ever, or should I say lack of... I went in needing to buy a charger for my work tablet & was in the electronic section quite some time. 5 associates passed me throughout this time none of them offering help at all or even a friendly smile. After scouring the whole section and not completely knowing what I was looking for, I went looking for a member of staff to help. There was a group of ladies in the fitting area gossiping about some guy bothering them. I felt uncomfortable to be around that negativity. It really should not be discussed on employers time clock. There was three woman. The only woman I remember was Lay la. She was loud and someone kept on saying her name over and over again. I think I will make that drive to El Dorado Hills next time. Stellar employees, And it always seems really stocked whenever I visit. Also they have a better clothes section than most targets I visit.

This might my favorite place in the entire world... I would almost pick shopping here than the mall sometimes. Perks: 1) this place has everything (literally everything) from electronics to house supplies; to clothes and accessories... I literally find it fun to just wander in every aisle because I always find something new / creative like they have these cool jewelry organizer things for your room and huge letters that light up that are used for decor... Basically I spend money here on things I completely don't need and I'm totally ok with it. In fact I sometimes come here for one thing and leave with ten other things and not even the thing I came for 2) this place has a great food court with good deals and also a starbs conveniently for your shopping pregame hehe lets get caffeinated 3)this place during the holidays is my favorite place to browse because the Christmas section is my favorite with all the decorations and holiday fest related things... I literally count down the days till I can come loiter through the Christmas aisles 4)target kindly offers shoppers free wifi because they know the struggle is real 5)there's probably a million other perks that I'm missing but in specific I love this location it just feels so homely and nice Parking: there is always parking except the main rows in front are usually occupied so you'll probably have to go down a few rows or just walk a little far down from the back of the rows. Bathrooms: I have never had a problem with bathroom cleanliness here so nothing can take away from this target's 5 star review that I'm giving. I LOVE YOU TARGET read more

There return policy is terrible I received some newborn clothes for my daughter from here and she was an 8 pound baby that outgrew size newborn fast so I went to return the clothes that were a gift they had all the tags attached and the customer service guy told me I needed to pick something from the same department since I didn't have a receipt well I went and picked out some clothes that were bigger and he said it wasn't the same dept it had to be newborn obviously I can't pick out more clothes from that dept they won't fit her. He said they have these rules so people won't return stuff that's ridiculous especially since me and many other friends and family members had to go through the hassle of getting new debit cards because of there unsecure system. I think I will go to walmart from now on they don't have this stupid policy read more

I am glad we have a local Target but, this is far from a "great" Target. The bathrooms were gross! They have a horrible, half empty vitamin selection. In the grocery department they had expired promo prices (so double check). This target is understaffed and the staff they do have seems miserable. The women answering the phone next to the dressing rooms kept yelling- "what do you need" or "I said hold on!" while huffing and puffing so loud the whole department could hear her, granted the phone was ringing of the hook. They have a Starbucks and pharmacy in store, although never tried either. This is definitely not a Super Target or a City Target, they have half of an isle of an item instead of multiple isles, which is okay if you aren't picky about brand or size. Finally- Check out time: only a few lanes open, you will need to wait at least a few minutes. Not my favorite. read more

The store itself is typical Target. However, at 1:00 pm the in-store Starbucks is staffed with only one person to assist a line of customers that wraps into the lobby area. The snack bar was dark. Both inconvenient but not show stoppers. The real issue was the literal infestation of middle school student from Folsom Middle School, who were loud, obnoxious, running through the store, using electric carts for racing and taunting store employees. When approached they were rude, showed no regard for those around them. I felt bad for the employees, but they said it's a daily occurrence. I cut my shopping short and left. I'm not crazy about shopping here-but, it seems inevitable--along with death and taxes. Where else can you go and get EVERYTHING?! (Including your Starbucks). I'm like most ppl, I come in here thinking I need 2-3 things and I'll be out under $20--ha ha!! That's a good one! $80-100 later....Anyway, this store is a million times more desirable to me than wally world--I just won't go there--it's beyond depressing to me there and Target is way more clued in design/style wise...(Does that sound snobby?--Well, call me a snob--see if I care!) I came here to this Target today and was upset to see the one type of yogurt I came here for not on the shelf (Major problem since it's the ONLY thing I can count on for my skinny, picky food eater of a kid to eat!) I asked an associate if they had some in the back--with very little expectations as far as getting any help or him following through. Well, he came through--big time! He found me in the check out line and handed me the yogurt that he had found in the back! I wish I had gotten his name---excellent cus. service! ...Meanwhile, with the check out cashier...he was fairly pushy about signing me up for that Target debit card...They obviously get a bonus or have some type of incentive to push it b/c he was really invested in me getting one(!) So, I took the bait--I couldn't resist the 10% off--I'm thrifty--don't judge! Came home and read the fine print--seems legit--just beware to not overdraft as Target then charges an overdraft fee of $30, I think?! (Always a catch!) I wish it worked more like an actual reward card--like the one I have from Safeway or Raley's. Well, what can you do?! read more

It's no secret. I'm a huge Target fan. What is not to like about a store that offers clothes, shoes, makeup, movies, books, sports gear, household cleaners, makeup, home decor, groceries, and an in-store Starbucks and mini food court? And whatever else I failed to mention here? From the dollar bin in the front of the store (HEAVEN for a frugalista like me) to the myriad groceries toward the back, it is hard to resist its siren call. I try to be a good girl and not go as often as I can stand so that I won't max out my little budget and geek out over everything they offer....and yet....I find myself in there an awful lot. If Target doesn't yet offer intervention/rehab for people like me, they should. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who is drawn to this store like bugs to lights. read more

I just wanted to share that I had the best experience at this Target today. One of the employees saw me take my little guy into the bathroom and when I came out she asked if he needed to eat or if i had changed him. I told her I just needed to change him then she said if I breastfeed to make sure I go sit down and relax at the starbucks and feed him and if that bothers anyone they can just deal with it, or if I wanted more privacy I can get a dressing room to feed him in. When it was time to feed him I went to the dressing rooms and told the employee that I was told I can use a room to feed my baby. One of the other customers heard me and told her two teenage daughters to hurry up and switch dressing rooms because she wanted me to have the large family size one to feed in. So happy with how supportive everyone was. read more

For example; looking for toddler's hats ... are they adjustable? Information not shown. Went to Amazon, got our answer, paid a lower price, ordered from them versus Target & received product at my front door in 2 days. Message to Target corporate: your stores are just fine. This place is pretty standard, as far as Target stores are concerned. You walk in and you know exactly what to expect if you've been to Target before. It looks like any other Target, except I liked the spaciousness of this location a lot better. The isles in the store were much wider and the store looked tidier than usual.
