I can't exit a Dollar Tree without buying something. I usually go in with a few things in mind; but by golly end up buying a ton more. Why not especially since most everything is $1.25 and they sell an assortment of items. This is my favorite Dollar Tree in Folsom. It's nicely stocked and organized. I've never had bad interactions with the staff. The greeting card selection is pretty awesome. All sorts of cards for any occasion. $1.25 or less. Plus they have multipack thank you cards, blank cards, and party invites. I get my gift wrap, tissue wrap, and gift bags here as well. Speaking about gifts, they carry glass flower vases $1.25. Perfect to place those flowers you want to gift to someone without breaking the bank. Helium foil balloons are $1.25, way cheaper than the grocery store. Another favorite of mine is the candy and snack aisle. I go a bit overboard, always. For $1.25, it at least lessens the monetary guilt but not so much with the caloric guilt. But not all products are worth buying even at $1.25. I don't recommend buying any office supplies here though. The faux post its don't have sticking power. The majority of pens run out of ink after a few uses and might bleed ink when writing. read more

The check out clerks are always super friendly. Amazing how much you can save getting snacks and things for the kids here.

This dollar tree stocks the beauty and health sections really well! a little disorganized, but they're never empty on skincare or beauty which can sometimes be an issue in dollar stores. Dollar Tree in Folsom had everything I needed for a quick shopping trip. The aisles were organized and checkout was quick.

HUGE location! The center has plenty of parking. I pop in here sometimes when I am in the area. Witnessed shoplifters a couple of times and notified an employee. There always only seems to be two employees working, and they always have been working at the cash registers so they can't control what goes on further back in the store. A shame, as it truly is one of the largest locations I have ever been into, and the prices are super cheap. read more

Stopped by Dollar Tree in Folsom while running errands. The store was organized and easy to navigate.

This location is very neat and organized. So many great finds! Staff is friendly and helpful.

Every time I come here it is horrible service. The line will be to the back to of the store before the cashier notices and calls for back up. The same lady that is usually working is usually too busy talking. She's either talking to another worker or another customer. The other worker will mosey their way up and it picks up but it can be resolved quicker. Today I went in to buy a few items. As I get to check out cashier is busy talking to another worker who was leaving. They were yelling at each other across the store as the person left. In between this conversation the cashier asked if I wanted a bag. I said yes as I had some heavy items and needed one. At check out she hands me receipt and no bag. I ask for a bag and she rudely goes well I asked and you said no. I said I said ya and she just ignored me and went back to the next person in line. I had to struggle to carry juice and laundry detergents out the store. If she wasn't so busy yelling across the store she would have heard me ask for the bag. She also told me my total after I already paid because she was still too busy talking at the time. Just very frustrating that this sort of thing happens every visit with the SAME worker. read more

The manager, Kat is not customer service oriented. Very rude, impersonal, doesn't smile and doesn't so much as say "thank you" to her customers. Very uncomfortable no matter how hard I tried. Her staff act just like her so she is not a good mentor. She did tell her cashier "good job" but nothing to me, the customer. I spent close to $200 and I will not come back to this store. Hopefully you take the comments seriously and provide some training on simple concepts as being friendly, helpful and possibly smile. read more

This location is super convenient and I've always walked away with home necessities like containers for organization or simple kitchen towels that will get beat up anyway. They also have dish soap in smaller bottles which can be handy for camping or travel. I've also enjoyed getting wrapping supplies for gifts and also holiday decor here. The store has never been difficult to navigate. Aisles are clean and I enjoy looking around to see what they have. Staff has always been very kind when ringing me up. Would give 0 stars if I could. DONT GO HERE!!!! I was in there grabbing some cookies and some snacks, and there were literal MICE running across the shelves. So disgusting. I had to just leave. This Dollar Tree has to be my favorite of all time. It's located right next to the Ranch 99 in Folsom. I don't know if this is true, but I feel this store is huge. The reason why I love this location is because it's always clean and organized. It's also really big so even if there were a lot of people in there, it's not super crowded. Also, it seems like they're always stocked on everything. The employees are super nice and parking is never an issue since it shares a huge lot with Ranch 99 and the other businesses around it. Honestly, the cleanliness and the organization are the top two reasons why I choose to go to this location. Not to mention, it's right next to a Gong Cha so after I can always grab a refreshing drink next door. read more

I asked why the employee was not wearing a state mandated mask. She pulled it up to just below her nose. Not one single employee was wearing a mask, which is, at this time, a state law. Clearly stated on their entry door "All persons entering must wear a mask". 50% of the customers were not following the law, and the employees were the worst of the bunch. read more

Not only is staff at this store not following the state mandate to wear masks nor the Dollar Tree corporate's mask policy, but the manager flat out argued with me over it and lied to my face. She claimed she was following the corporate directive and that Gov. Newsom rescinded the mask-wearing directive yesterday, which he hasn't done. When I asked to see the manager she approached me with her mask being worn under her nose and stopped 1' from my face, while arguing that when she is near customers she maintains a 6' distance. Also, I had passed her in the aisle in which she was stocking merchandise and she didn't pull it up over her nose...the same experience I had with her when I was in the store last week. The cashier had her mask down around her neck. Last week she didn't even have one anywhere on her person. When I asked her to put on one last week she did so. Same cashier today...asked her to put it on and she pulled it up under her nose. The total disregard for the state and corporate mandate and the safety of themselves, their co-workers, and their customers reflects ignorance, entitlement, and overall disrespect. This store was a nice store until lately. The line could have 20 ppl in it and the Mgr Ashleigh has to take her break with another gal who was not dressed to work. And a third employee Terrill. When I complained to Ashleigh she and other 2 walked away from me. This little girl couldn't be old enough to drink let alone manage a store. She chose to take her break at the busiest time. Store #5786. Bring back the previous manager! I tried to email something to corporate, alas-they have no contact for anything but products. Okay, let's do this in front of God & Everybody. The woman manager that they have is a loser. I can say this, being a woman. I used to love this store! Now? The floors are dirty, and don't even look like they have been swept in 2 weeks. Product is shoved onto the shelves, so it is smashed together and nothing is coherent in the shelving. The books section; one of my favorite places, is nonexistent. The only sad hardbacks were shoved onto the bottom shelf-it was literally 8 inches of choice. The day that I was there, one lonely cashier was open. We were backed up into the aisle. Just wanted to take the time to write about how helpful the woman at Dollar Tree was. I came in to Dollar Tree to buy a ton of graduation balloons for my store, and the lady working there took a ton of time to help me out (tying the balloons, putting them in bouquets, etc.). I mean its the dollar store I shouldn't expect much or anything but this POS manager who I never saw so I cant describe her. She sucks. So I went in here to grab some balloons for a coworker for her birthday. Well I stood in the area and waited. Well the balloon area is next to the manager office and well this lazy chick not only didn't come out when she could see me through that mirror but when I went to the check out stand the kid at the reg was sweaty and looked so panicked. Well so many people wear in the store and alot had been checking out. Apparently he was the only associate there and she was in the office "calling" someone in. This Dollar Store location is huge! It is much bigger than the location on Bidwell and therefore has a much greater selection of products. I picked up some sand castle building toys for my nieces and nephews for, of course, a dollar a piece. Can't beat that! The store is very clean and the staff was extremely friendly. This location does not seem to be nearly as busy as the much smaller Dollar Tree in Folsom, not sure why but it sure makes checking out a breeze. Definitely recommend this Dollar Store over the other Folsom location. And, as with all Dollar Stores, this is simply the best place for gift wrap items and balloons. read more

My husband and I made a plan to go back to this Dollar Tree because we didn't have enough time the first time we went, even though it is about a half hour from our home and we have a small one about ten minutes away. They had everything we needed to fill our 9 grandkids stockings. This store is very large and well stocked and the people who work there are more than happy to answer your questions and take you to the product you are looking for. I must say that the people are extremely pleasant in every Dollar Tree store that we have gone into. We really like these stores for quality items for low cost! read more

It is open now. Very clean and new Dollar Tree store, (in a former Fresh and Easy location), in Briggs Ranch area of Folsom. It is much easier to shop than the first Folsom location and cleaner. It has spacious aisles and a ton of merchandise. Employees are pretty friendly. There is the usual balloon station and frozen food section along with the usual DT items. The seasonal area is huge. There are restrooms and a water fountain in the back corner too. Overall, Dollar Tree has some good buys on gift wrap, cards, seasonal purchases and cleaning products. Out of the way location but if you are near the area check it out. read more

Great store and great location! The store is always so neat and the staff are very helpful. I was looking for one specific item and saw It wasn't on the shelf so one of the employees gladly went to the back and retrieved them for me. When I was in the check out line about four people at most. The cashier was very friendly and fast at checking people out. For some reason some of the customers acted a little aggressive and agitated only one checker was open. Some people expect a little too much from a dollar tree. The cashier handled them well even though one older woman knocked on the office door for someone to open a new register which well was rude when you can tell they were in the middle of something. Id say the staff there are very professional especially towards rude customers, which I have witnessed quite a few times in this store. Feel a little bad for the staff but thats what happens in customer service. Everyone thinking the customer is always right when in fact they really aren't. But I will most definitely be shopping here more often! Best dollar tree location i have ever been to so far! read more

Although this is the newer and "fancier" store of the two in Folsom, I far prefer the older store on East Bidwell. I have had numerous disappointing experiences at this new Blue Ravine location. The employees (and even the young male manager) are rude, less than helpful and just plain act like they do not want to do anything more than stand around and ring you up when it's time to pay. They won't look to see if they possibly have more of an item in back. They won't help you try to find something when you are looking for it, and they have little to no personality or friendliness when interacting with them (although I did have one fairly nice female cashier, she was the exception and not the rule). Anyways, I guess newer, bigger and shinier isn't always better because the folks over at the old East Bidwell store are the complete opposite and are just so nice and helpful. This new location should go over there and job shadow for a few days to see what it's like to actually be helpful and earn your paycheck. read more
