Target is always a fun place to look around but when you haven't been to one in way over a year, it's beyond exciting. Of course, I was looking for rugs, which isn't quite as exciting. There were so much at a Target. And, despite, my best efforts looking at everything, I left with only rugs. The rugs were really nice-thick, cushy and pretty to look at so I was very pleased. There was no one waiting when I got here and one person showed up a few minutes into my wait. And it was early in the morning in the middle of the week. Oh well, I got my stuff. It's a Target store and they NEVER have enough people for checkout and I only go there if I really need something that I can't find locally

This Target is big so you can usually find what you're looking for. The aisles are well-labeled with the exception of the walls, which can be hard to find the aisle markers for. The people who work here are friendly and seem to really enjoy their jobs. Like all Targets it can be a little pricey, but it's also cheaper than other department stores for some things so it just kind of depends on what you're looking for. The parking lot is big and easy to navigate. There's a light right next to it so you can easily get in and out without too much trouble. I really only go to Target for specific items but since I live close to this one I have no reason not to go here. read more

Not looking real good right now. 5 of us have been standing around in the electronics dept waiting, waiting, waiting..... Finally some help shows up. First customer is having issues operating his phone, so the clerk spends about 20 minutes trying to instruct this individual while the rest of us are waiting, waiting, nobody else can help apparently as this one individual is the only one 'allowed' to help with phones. Finally has the one customer sorted out, now he is trying to help the next customer resolve THEIR issues with setting a security code. ....... This has been going on for another 20 minutes while we are still waiting, waiting...... Matter of fact, he is on the phone with the manufacturer trying to sort out this phone mailbox problem while I'm standing here, so I might as well review this mess... nothing else to do while I'm waiting..... oh cool! The speaker phone he is using just announced for all of us what the password is the lady just chose. We are prepared to spend $800 on a brand new iphone and are getting close to just walking off as they are busy helping people with issues, while those of us with money to spend are standing here waiting, ........ read more

Love target BUT! DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY!!!! I placed an order at the Eugene target, it was supposed to be here Friday. Then Saturday. Then Monday. Now tomorrow. We will see if it changes again. I have no idea why it keeps getting pushed back considering I live in junction city. Next time just drive and pick it up. Delivery is NOT two day like it says. I wanted to wear my order Tuesday, figured I placed it with enough time, I guess not. The fact that you can't even find a cart to shop with should tell you this place is really bad. They don't do anything about the homeless stealing cartloads of merchandise. I thoroughly enjoy this Target location! Every time my husband and I go to Jung's Mongolian Grill, we walk over to Target. It's typically just for some exercise, but we've found a lot of stuff here too. The store is always clean, stocked, and organized. I've never had a problem finding anything. Employees are great, always checking in with you to see if you need any help. Cashiers are fast, efficient and nice. Bathrooms are always clean and well maintained. Clearance isles are awesome. I've scored kitchen towels and accessories for just a couple bucks. I always buy replacement air freshener things on clearance. I've found nice plastic storage bins for $5. They're organized by department, so you have to look around, but you never know what you'll find at a great price. I recently bough FitBit wristbands, 3 for $20, which is cheaper than I can find them on the FitBit website. My husband loves that there is Wi-Fi throughout the store, and I love Starbucks. There's something for both of us. Lol. We always make it a point to stop here when we're in this part of town. The one at Gateway is much closer, but this one is quieter (no screaming kids everywhere) and has a more relaxed atmosphere with better employees. So we like this location. read more

This review is more about Target in general, rather than this store in particular. The only problem I have with this particular store is that there is often only one check-out open, even when the self-checkout line is very long. So most times I order online and do a drive-up pick up. Recently, I ordered and paid for items that qualified for both a $10 and a $5 gift card. Even after the money had cleared my bank account by 2 days, I could not access the gift cards. So, I called the Customer Service number; 1-800-440-0680 and spent well over an hour trying to fix this. I was transferred to SIX different people during that hour! Person 6 finally arranged for physical gift cards to be snail mailed to me in 7 to 10 business days! All in all I have spent at least half a day (so far), dealing with something that should not have happened in the first place. Never once was any compensation for my time and effort mentioned. I consider this VERY BAD BUSINESS! I will need to be very desperate to shop at Target again, and up until now, I gave Target quite a bit of my business. Buyer beware: do NOT fall down the rabbit hole lure of gift cards for full price purchases. read more

Girls clothing area: I can't even begin to tell you how refreshing it was to walk into a Target and see a well organized and stocked kids clothing area. Every shirt was was folded, the racks full of clothes and neatly hung. When I asked for assistance I was walked over to the area, there was no blaring radio and she seemed to really be enjoying her job. Refreshing!!! read more

I went to pick up an online order yesterday, and I found out they put your order back and refund your card if you don't pick up within a few days. I had called last week because it was due to an injury that was struggling to make it in, but was not informed at that time that I would lose my order. When I went in yesterday, I had the most thoughtful and customer service friendly group of women help me in the customer service department. I was amazed to see how polite and eager all of these ladies were to help make up for the fact that my order had been put back. They ran all around the store and checking online until they could find some thing that would work for me. Enriquetta was one of the women I dealt with the most and she is an absolute gem. I hope all of these ladies are highly valued in their place of employment as they are incredibly deserving of it. If you are not all worried about your health, and prefer to throw caution to the wind when in-person shopping during the COVID-19 pandemic, don't worry, because Target isn't worried about it either. I came in to return some clothing I ordered online. The small amount of Guest Services staff that were not overloaded with work were very kind, quick, and professional. I have been to this Target 4-5 times in person since the pandemic began, and I have seen many customers not attempting to social distance, and incorrectly wearing masks. I have seen customers with masks pulled down beneath their chin, and never have they been approached to correct it. Whoever is responsible for the check-out procedures at Target did not take the pandemic into consideration. The aisles are so small that customers have to wait in areas where customers are constantly coming and going, and no one attempts to social distance. There are never enough cashiers to check out the number of people waiting, and many of the orders take a long time because customers have questions, concerns, coupons, and use multiple cards for one transaction, etc. While waiting to check out, a staff member approached me and asked if I wanted to come to her check-out counter, which wasn't within the designated check out aisles. I followed her to her check-out location right at the entrance of the store. I purchased about 3 items, and within that 1 minute transaction, about 6 people barreled right by us with no consideration for social distancing. I don't know whose idea it was to place a check out station at one of the busiest locations in the store, but in no way was social distancing possible. I understand the pandemic has turned the world upside down, and department stores are rushing to catch up. All of the staff I interacted with were doing the best they could under the circumstances. We are coming up on the 1 year anniversary of the COVID-19 pandemic, and none of the store check-out procedures were safe for customers or staff, and very rarely allowed for social distancing. Based on what I saw today, I cannot in good conscience continue to shop there online or in person until they prioritize customer and employee safety. I will be shopping elsewhere for all my clothing, kitchen supplies, food, electronics, home decor, and holiday decor. read more

No carts in the entrance or parking lot at 11:00 on this Friday morning. I asked an employee and was told they were all in use since they "only have about 20 carts for the store". She should have pulled out a device (iPad) and searched the item for me. Offered to order (if possible). Identify alternative options and/or other stores. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE FOR THE PHARMACY! Be warned. Taylor at the pharmacy is not only lazy but she is insensitive and the worst employee I've ever dealt with at a CVS or a Target. And this includes Targets in OR and Cali! A man in front of us came in for his rx that had been called in 2 hours prior and Taylor said " sorry, we close soon and can't help you.". WHAT?! For my daughter's Rx (sent over 1 hour prior) Taylor and the other employee , who was busy talking on her phone saying she doesn't like "coconut body scrubs" , said they couldn't get her Rx because they close soon. (In 5 mins) And then they said the machines turn off at 7?! Um... so get the manager and help these two people who are here for their needed medicine that was called in 1 hour and 2 hours earlier! Seriously... don't go here. Go to the Springfield location where they have a sense of decency and care. Oh and then the pharmacist starts yelling directions over the counter instead of just filling the medicine for these people!!! You're warned. read more

I'm a Target fanatic (an addict really). Where I used to live we had a Super Target (which was amazing). I wish we had one here in Eugene. But this location is pretty good. Pros: -- right off the belt line (only takes me ten minutes from Santa Clara) -- quiet (which is nice because I like get my retail therapy and take my time window shopping) -- fairly well stocked -- amazing clearance prices Cons: -- Starbucks only (which means no popcorn to snack on while shopping) -- no self checkout (hopefully they'll get one soon!) -- old school carts that are hard to push and have wonky wheels I would also like to note that I can't stand how Target now has their employees CONSTANTLY asking "can I help you find something" etc. This is something they seem to do at all locations now and it has really diminished my shopping experience. I get what they're going for but honestly I just want to shop in peace. I'll let you know if I need help. I just had a pretty rough experience here. Long story short: - I bought a Roku a month ago - it fried today - I brought it back to swap for a new one - paid $30 extra for the better Roku - turns out I can't use the new one So I came back to swap it out for one I could use. They told me I was stuck with it- I can't get my $30 back or just trade for the upgraded version. Really lousy service. Wasted my whole day and have to pay for two Roku's. I was recommended to sell it on *craigslist* even though I bought it today and have a receipt. Not exactly the help I wanted. I wouldn't buy any electronics here. read more

Parking never seems to be a problem and customer service seems completely apathetic. This target was an absolute twin to the one near me (in Walnut Creek) which was weird because theres always a little something different about each Target... they are usually set up the same but a little different... this one was EXACTLY the same. lol... it made it easier for me to go through the store to find what I needed... and since I was in Oregon and TAX FREE!! I have always liked Target. Their stores always seem to be clean and better stocked than Wal-mart. There is a Wal-mart across the street from this location and if you are looking for a cheap, low class and dirty then that's the place to go. How does one review Target? We all know that if we go in there expecting to buy one item we come out with bags full of things we "need". Even if I don't go in with a basket I always end up doing a shopping version of weight lifting but carrying as many things as I can back to the register. This Target has a huge parking lot and sits on the outskirts of Eugene so it's never too crazy when I go out there. The store itself is clean and has very friendly employees. You gotta stop at the $1-$3 section in front which always has seasonal items ranging from twinkly lights, greeting cards, cute vases and holiday decorations. I left off one star because I always feel like the clothing is so picked over here. Of course they will never run out of size small but it seems as though they don't order enough of other sizes or they don't restock well because as often as I go I only get lucky every once in a while when they have just put new items out. They do have a grocery section here as well and I like the variety their snack section has. Another favorite section is the clearance section of the home decor items. They always have great deals, especially when the seasons change. All in all, this is a good Target if you need to go to a big box store. read more

I really dislike this location. Security basically follows me around every time I go in. I do not know why. I stopped going to this location entirely. I totally understand their need for security but I am not a thief. I have no idea why they do this to me. The last time, they followed me because I returned to an isle I had previously visited. And my counter tops are soft white. What do you think about this decor? Do you feel blue is too much or should I go with an accent color like orange? Do you feel ocean themes are tacky and outdated? Maybe while you're here you can help me decide what color towels to get? Do you happen to have this in any other color? I really like this pattern, but the color is a bit muted. Which type of floor mats do you think go best with this color? Well now I'm going to need a shower curtain. This style is available on your website. Do you have it here in store?
