Was there earlier this evening with my Girlfriend and her mother. Her mom wanted some moisturizer - a $7 item in the locked section. Who knew you could use Oil of Olay to make Meth, right? So the store employee walks her over to the register to make sure this dangerous, middle aged African-American woman doesn't run off into the night with $7 of valuable oils. This being late in the evening, there was a complete fuster-cluck at the checkouts. Whilst there were plenty of people like Captain Helpful roaming the floors to unlock cabinets, there were only 3 checkouts open. I guess some of the staff are not allowed to touch money much in the same way sex-criminals are not allowed to live near schools. My Girlfriend's mom, the dangerous shoplifting, meth-making, middle-aged African-American woman, decides to switch to an emptier checkout line. Well, Captain Helpful has a completely Helpful melt-down, saying that she couldn't do that thing. That this product, that she wanted to spend money on, at a checkout, could not be purchased at a second checkout because ... well. Because she couldn't. So, she demands to speak to a manager. The manager of a large Target, on a Sunday evening. A large Target that seems to be singled out by roaming gangs of shoplifting, meth-making, Oil of Olay buying, middle aged African-American women. The person running this joint seems to be a dim-witted 15-year old girl who was just crawling with stupid. With facial piercings and no clue what is going on, how to organize a close-up of a large store or how to behave when confronted by shoplifting, meth-making, Oil of Olay buying, middle aged African-American women who really just want to buy these things and leave without feeling like the entire World of Stupid is just crashing down around her head. So we three all left the numerous and costly products we were going to buy and walked out. So sorry Target Daly City, you just lost 3 customers tonight. read more

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! YOU SHOULD KICK OUT THE CLERK NAMED DAVID WHO'S WORKING ON ELECTRONIC SECTION we went to target serramonte mall to buy a sony camcorder, we check the sony camcorder on display, theres not much specification on display. so, I asked a clerk named "DAVID" if they have the one that we chose on display if they have it on stock. he said yes. as he hold the box infront of me.I asked him if I can look at the box to check what is the specification of the camcorder we're buying, since theres less description on the one thats on display. he said straight to me, No.I can't let you read the box, if you have any questions you can ask me. I said why not? he said that some customers run away with it. I said what!? I got back at him and said, do you think Im gonna run away with it? and he tried to reason out. I was gonna buy it already, but he keeps on reasoning out. I said never mind I will not buy it anymore. I ended up complaining to the manager. I went to Target Colma, and looked for the same item. The clerk named ROBERT assisted us. a very nice person, he handed us the box, and let us read the specification without any hesitation. we ended up buying it in Target Colma. To DAVID of Target Serramonte, Customers have the right to know what they are buying, and don't suspect or accuse them of stealing an item once you hand it to them. .and also just an advice DAVID, on your next Christmas wishlist, put an underarm deodorant as a number one priority on your list. I don't know why customers can stand your smell, as well as your attitude. To ROBERT of Target Colma: keep up the good job! Thanks for assisting us. read more

Are you kidding me?! What kind of ghetto Target are you?! How can you call yourself Target and not have Tide?! EVER?!?! Has Tide been discontinued?! Has Tide decided that you - you stupid, crowded, smelly Target -- are unworthy to sell detergent? Has your Tide-Sellers card been revoked? Banned from getting a Tide-Sellers card at all?! WTF is wrong with you? It's TIDE, for chrissake! You have two entire shelves devoted to it, and not a single bottle on them. Or batteries?! How do you not have batteries? AA batteries are the freakin' phoenixes of the battery world - after the apocalypse, I expect to see CRT monitors, cockroaches, and AA batteries rise from the ashes. How do you not have any? The independent gas station down the street from me whose gas pumps don't even work have AA batteries - you, on the other hand, have a parking lot the size of a third world country and yet you have NO BATTERIES. Or Tide. Grrr. And OK, if you wanna go there, FINE. I will totally call you out for not having Method. Wait, no, that's not quite accurate - you had exactly one *half-empty* cucumber dishwashing liquid. Is there a magic community sink where the throngs of people in the aisles come and do their dishes at your store? Target Greatland, my ass. You ought to be ashamed of yourself. You go to your room now and think about what you've done. read more

Hey so this BITCH at the returns area was really rude to my friend and I. This was on Wednesday. I dont remember exactly what time it was. We politely asked her if your store sells rain ponchos because we weren't ready for the rain. She has red beaty eyes like shes HIGH or on DRUGS. She has shoulder length hair and was wearing a striped shirt. She is FILIPINO. If you would look at your old footage of 2 days ago you WILL see how rude she is. I was wearing all black. And you will see my friend with me. 2 asian girls walk up to the right cashier and ask her. She DOESN'T NEED TO BE A BITCH. Oh and she doesn't have a name tag on. But I know what she was wearing. PLEASE NOTE THAT ME AND MY FRIEND ARE ONLY 16 YEARS OLD :) YOU REALLY NEED TO MAKE SURE THAT YOUR STAFF GETS A DRUG TEST AND MAKE SURE THEY BE KIND. I DONT CARE IF SHE'S ON HER PERIOD. I GET PERIODS TOO, AND IF I WORKED THERE I WOULD PUT A SMILE ON MY GOD DAMN FACE. Maybe she doesn't like asians MAKE THEM NOT BE RASIST THEN. BUT YOU REALLY NEED TO FIRE HER ASAP. When we asked her if your store had rain ponchos she said "UHHH NOOO!!" WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE DO YOU HIRE???? read more

This Target is in the mall. You can enter through the mall and from outside the mall which I like because the mall is a great place for people to see you on the days you really don't need to be seen, ie when I'm running to Target for some tampons and midol in sweats that don't belong to me, some mismatched socks in some rubber tong slippers, no eyebrows, no care. The robocop security at this Target are Polly Pockets. I've seen people steal cart loads of items right under their nose and idk what the protocol maybe for them I'm sure there are a lot of rules as to what they can and can't do.. but sheeeesh keep some dignity. I heard the security say "hey man you wanna pay for that" and the guy pushed the cart right past him and said "no not today, thanks for asking" so the next time I go there I expect you guys to treat me with the same respect. And let me go about my business then. read more

Wow another place that most of the Yelpers describe as "ghetto." I had a grand time shopping here. The shelves were all fully stocked, It was clean. There were friendly staff asking if I needed help. I loved that the underwear section had such a huge selection of styles and sizes. The kitchenware section had stuff I haven't seen elsewhere. The toy section didn't look like it was picked over. Signs were clear. They had bathrooms on BOTH the 1st and 2nd floors! I live close to both the new Albany mega Target and the older Target in El Cerrito, I often can't find what I am looking for on the shelves. They are either sold out or not restocked. Maybe it's just me and the kind of stuff I shop for? P.S. The staff at the Albany and El Cerrito Target stores are great-a;ways friendly and helpful. I just wish their shelves were better stocked. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SERRAMONTE TARGET!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's the old snacks that were expired left on the shelves and some reaching the expiration date but they weren't doing anything about it. Another issue was the stores security asking what I was up to because if it's stealing, don't think about it. I was beyond frustrated after!!!!!!!! I asked what was his name because I didn't see that anywhere on him and he got mad. I told him looking at expiration dates for snacks isn't a crime. I told him to look at those dates that were old and expired. He saw the expired dates alright, BUT didn't try to resolve. He also didn't apologize but walked off. Stay away from this one. read more

I see everyone else beat me to it. Let's see, rude employees better suited working at the DMV, messy, disorganized, shitty store layout, overcrowded by wannabe thugs, boppers, women who have kids they can't properly supervise running all over the place, rent a cops treating me like a thief, I'd go on but I have high blood pressure so I shouldn't be getting worked up over petty shit. If you want to have a pleasant Target experience, and you happen to be in Contra Costa County, go to the Walnut Creek Tar-Jay. It's the complete opposite. Also, see my review about that place and everyone elses. read more

Went to this target tonight. Don know why so many filipinos employees, Not diverse enough. Maybe the hire manger is filipino. Flag an employee four times and he finally notices me.Ask him is there any beer in this store and he doesnt know and he has to ask other employee. Why the manger hires him if he doesnt know about the store.Just because he is filipino?.one star for price and one star for the parking at night..next time I go to the other target to see how is that..the female employee who manages the watches and galsses is rude. read more

I can't give a store where my wallet was stolen 5 stars. Regardless of products, security and process lacks. I was required to buy my electronics in the electronic department and within minutes my wallet was stolen. My credit cards were used in the store while I was shopping. I could not buy my food items to feed my kids, but the crooks were. TARGET SHOULD START CHECKING ID!!!! Why does Target tolerate such high losses, because they do not care about their customers. Wrote a letter to corporate no response. Just as bad! read more

a very racist store. if your black or latino. they well have their young staff members follow you and talk about what they see you doing over their radios. they talk alot of mess, thinking you don't hear them. i've had this trouble with targets in daly city since the 90's. i'm a good christian, i don't need to steal or be followed by strange teenage girls. they well never change. very racist staff. Most of the good posting on here are by the staff or their family. I went to school with many of them sadly. read more

Target is the greatest place to shop. It is so clean and friendly. I have no trouble buying something for someone, and it is the wrong size, getting it returned is a breeze. A guilty pleasure for me and my wife is the dollar area near the cash registers. It is full of impulse buys but they are only a buck so let 'er rip. I get so much fun stuff for my nieces and nephew. We rarely escape Target without buying a book or two, plenty of cleaners. And now they have gluten free graham crackers. What's not to love? read more

i know this Target like the back of my hand. Its my one stop shop for everything I could possibly need for my flat when I am in a hurry and not picky. First I like to stop and buy the popcorn. Super bad for you and tasty but takes the pain out of walking 5 miles through the store. Secondly I go straight for the tp and wash stuff, browse the make up pick up a few tees and socks and then to the sale sections. The one set back is parking but the lot is so huge someone is always pulling out. read more

For some reason it is difficult to find things at this particular store. Everything is hard to find and the layout does not make sense. The food is split up in sections, back to school stuff is all over the place, there are tons more people then the one down the street. i have been here several times and every time i say to my self why did i go to this one? the products are the same as at other Target stores but they need to get it more organized so its easier to get things you need. read more

Overall this location is a good enviorment. Product wise has a wonderful selection and generally if i dont find what i need i can just go to colma target which is a short drive away from this location. The cafe is a nice touch to the store not to mention the starbucks but there was only one thing. The team members on floor didnt seem as charasmatic as they could be. Observing the team leaders they seemed to be very oppresive and downputting but overall loved everything else. read more

I went to Target to buy kitty litter, because you can get this huge bucket of it for about 8 bucks. Way to save money, right? I discovered they have some surprisingly cute clothing here. I spent over an hour trying stuff on and, well, so much for just spending 8 bucks. Usually the case when I visit Target. I have no concept of money and I am weak when walking by clothing sections anywhere. I'm like Superman walking through sparkly racks of reasonably-priced kryptonite. read more

Worst manager award goes to BRIAN C. this douche bag cant resolve any problems. Just stood there and asked me what he should do. I bought a 500 dollar vacuum and it was MISSING PIECES, thats right i bought it brand new in box. and it was missing pieces. I wanted cash back and he wouldn't give me it. I had receipts and everything. This guy needs customer service training. and target needs to check their items better so i wouldn't have to deal with my item missing pieces. read more

I spent $100 this weekend for gifts. This coming holiday season will bring much pain for already struggling families. I am not a big fan of shopping mega stores but at this point in time I am turning into a fan. You can still get very nice gifts and not go broke just to satisfy some nasty members of your family. Keep it real, there is a storm ahead and its called recession. read more

This store is unsafe. We witnesses a family with two dogs off leash allow their dogs to harass a man in a wheelchair and his companion dog. We asked them to out their dog on a leash and they proceeded to harass us, throw a shoe at us and threaten to beat us up outside. The security stepped in but didn't even kick them out. What a joke. read more
