Tar-jay! This is my favorite Target, which I frequent monthly when I'm home. It's the perfect size with the perfect crowd. No get-out-of-my-way cart pushers, as people are generally polite. Recently remodeled, this Target boasts: - Renovated Starbucks / Pizza Hut refreshments area. - Single floor, so no need to go upstairs like some Super Targets to find out what's on top - Frozen foods - 6-8 rows of frozen foodstuff (love the Target-branded frozen vegetables, which are cheaper and better than even the grocery store) For the ladies: The Go International clothing collection is often sufficiently supplied with the smaller sizes. Love the Boots cosmetics section here, where you can try out everything with a stationed Target Boots-branded assistant to answer your questions (yes, she stands here on weekends just to promote Boots... and other brands!). For the men: Your clothing section is in the far back, but well-stocked with the latest fashions. Plus, the huge automotive section is huge here. For coffee lovers: The best iced coffee is at Tung Kee Noodle House right next to Target. Grab a delicious iced coffee, then head on into Target for a caffeine release... Best overall plus: The gas station is at the corner, on the same parking lot. read more

I love Target as it is. But the customer service at this place is fantastic. Today, I went in with an item I purchased yesterday. However, my scatterbrained self somehow lost the receipt in between yesterday and today and assumed I would be getting store credit. The employee was able to pull up my purchase with the credit card I had used and it was returned in less than 20 seconds. This is the Target I always go to (I've lived in Cupertino my whole life) and I've never had a problem with it. Unfortunately, there seem to be a lot of trendy shoppers who go here, because I came on the day the Rodarte collection for Target came out, and everything was sold out already except for the L and XL sizes :'( Otherwise, this store is really nice. The shoppers are all pretty laid back (I've been to the Oakland Walmart, and that place is a frantic hellhole), so I always have fun wandering the aisles after finals and taking a shopping break. read more

Customer service deserves 0 stars overall. Everyone working here was rude. I walked in to ask for change for a $20 bill. Customer service attendant tried to claim that she has no way of opening the register without me buying something. Listen, I used to work at target and I know that to access the register all you need to do is log in and click the "open register button". I didn't want to pull the "I used to work at target card" cause it's not that serious. I told her I was good and would ask the cash register attendant. The cash registered attendant wanted to act like I asked him to do my taxes. He was extremely rude and just gave me a dirty look and said something under his breath. He's lucky I didn't have time that day to correct his negative energy cause I was on my break and I don't get paid to fix his attitude target does. I came to return a vacuum and the manager Reyna said that the vacuum I bought from that very store was not in the system!? I offered to show them the vacuum, even my ID but they wouldn't accept. Honestly, awful service. I didn't even want my money back, I just wanted a store credit. Reyna is a manager who is supposed to help me but is instead a careless, rude, and disrespectful manager. I wasn't very impressed with the selection of grocery items at this Target. The store was extremely busy with a bunch of rude customers. I usually don't complain about places but this one rubbed me the wrong way. I love Target but this one was just way too busy. I don't come here very often unless I'm in the area. It's one of the long-time Target locations and there have been changes and renovations over the years. There are some things I can't find very easily and the facilities could be cleaner overall. Otherwise, it's an okay and average Target location. read more

Came here to pickup some veggies and also a videogame for a friend. I do like the fact they're trying to do something with the produce area and also selling frozen foods. Makes for a very convenient shopping experience when you can pick up so many different things. Unfortunately, the place is relatively understaffed so it's rare that you can find assistance unless you actually go up to their checkout desk for example at the electronics section. When we checked for a game, they were already out. Also, the checkout clerks are sometimes incompetent or rude. We were checking out and apparently my card didn't go through and the clerk gave me a look. Easy fix please, I'll just give you a different card. Also, when they ask if you'd like a bag, they don't even mention that it will be an extra charge. I know California recently switched over to no plastic bags, but as someone who has been out of state for a while and for those who don't know the new laws, you should probably add a few words in there to acknowledge it will be extra for a bag. Parking lot is spacious and there are a lot of other stores nearby. read more

I realize this updated, more negative review may seem misguided but I now have been sucked back into a situation regarding another double charge for the pajamas I mentioned in my previous review. After reaching out to Target customer service via online chat, I was given no answer as to why I now have been double charged twice for this one transaction. My next step is to follow up with my bank, definitely, but the fact that the gentleman I spoke with through their customer service instant messaging system got sassy with me was not super appreciated. I'm an action figure collector and saw that they had three Red Hulks in stock. I look in the aisle that their website said the figure was in and it wasn't there. I see a target employee restocking some stuff across the way so I ask her. She immediately tells me no they don't have it but I show her that it says in stock on the target website. She then says that it's probably in back but I have to wait for their toy department employee to come back from lunch so they can get it for me. I asked her if I should ask someone else and said yes. This was already very poor customer service. I go to the electronics section and see two people waiting at the counter and I ask one of the employees at the counter if they had the red hulk and he said yes and that another employee went to the back to grab them. The woman comes from the back with the box of three. So I thought it was my lucky day and the three of us would get one. First guy bought one then the woman rings up two for the second guy. I ask the employee if she is letting the second guy buy two she smiles and says yes. This is especially frustrating because I have been told that target exclusive figures are limited to one per customer. Target customer service phone number was no help either and the next store he called said they didn't have it. Even though it stated in stock on their website 4 hours later. read more

DVD prices starts from $5.00, $7.50, $10 and up!!! the ones that are on sale are some pretty good movies too. today, i didn't go for the DVDs b/c i needed plastic containers. i was a bit bummed out when i needed 2 green containers, but they only had 1 that was all dented. so, i got it in a different color. they always have the things that you really need. i LOVE target! read more

This morning I got very distracted during the walk from the store with my purchase to putting my child in the car and leaving. A couple hours later I realized I never placed my bought items in my car and left them in the cart outside the store. I called and spoke with Dan who sent someone outside to look for my bag. They did not find my bag of purchased items. I was very upset but Dan was willing to help me if I brought my credit card in and we could look at the receipt and retrieve new items to replace the lost ones. I got to the store and looked at the lined up carts and my bag WAS in the carts! Yay, I got my purchases! However, I did go in just to shake Dan's hand because this stressed Mama was made calm by knowing he would do what it took to replace the items I misplaced. For those sensitive skin folks: The main reason I come here is for the California Baby products. They're cheaper here than at Whole Foods down the street. DHS shampoo is also at the pharmacy sometimes. I wish they'd keep full bottles all the time, though. I also enjoy the cheap clothes and accessories if I need to finish an outfit in a short period of time. I don't particularly like the grocery section (how come grade A eggs are more expensive than grade AA eggs at the grocery store?) but they have a wide variety of coffees to choose from. Also, if you need a quick party fix, the $1 section is awesome! I got popcorn boxes for 50 cents each. read more

My childhood Target. A complete aberration from what Targets are like, as the lines were ridiculously long and the store was completely disheveled. I used to love this Target, but in recent times the store seems completely derelict; not of people but of the up keeping. The parking lot is a decent side but anyone who's lived in Cupertino knows that...well..the drivers are bad. Not-so-mini vans are parked crooked and Hondas and Toyotas alike are double parked. Oh, how I love my hometown. Like all other Targets, there is a Starbucks and a mini food court to the left of the entrance. Also conveniently located near the entrance is the Customer Service are or the "Returns" area. This Target has the standard selection of groceries, clothes, and miscellaneous others. I honestly can spend hours at Target, just wondering the aisles to see what things I can find on the cheap or just things that I didn't know I needed. read more

Usually one of my favorite superstores, but I've just had an incident where I asked a gentleman on the phone to hold a copy of a PS 4 FIFA 18, and was told after a 20 minute drive that there were no copies left. While Lukas was very helpful and tried to find the copy, no one stepped up to acknowledge and hold responsibility for the phone call happening at all. Very irresponsible and disappointing service. I would recommend anyone thinking of asking them to hold copies of anything to beware. read more

It usually has a wonderful selection of items and is nicely laid out with very friendly/helpful/efficient employees. I found an item here (and bought all 3 colors) that I could not find in the Mountain View Target. So I officially love this Target! Plenty of sale and regular priced items in my size! I literally had to tell myself to leave the store and checkout after I found my items for fear I would continue to find more great deals and purchase them for no real reason. I used to go to school at De Anza so I was always spending time between classes at Target. I walked around, got a popcorn, and did some light shopping. Now that I'm not a frequent visitor of Cupertino I still take time to stop by this Target when I need to get something. Yes, I'm closer to one in San Jose but I just like this location. The layout is great with plenty of selection in stock. I especially like the home goods area as it is laid out in a way that makes it easy to find what I'm looking for. This location is also great for finding toys during the holidays that are often sold out in other stores. Decent prices coupled with a well stocked and organized store makes me a happy shopper! read more

This morning I signed into my Target / Cartwheel account did a search for "blankets" and was shown Easter bunny stuff. The stock price may have risen but I think the analysts should be more rigorous, use the applications management claims has been fixed. read more

This is a very nice target store, but compared to San Mateo's or the new one by the San Jose Airport, it drops a star. There was one staff member that was extremely helpful. I never expect a Target employee ask me if I needed help finding stuff, but when she asked, i was pleasantly surprised. Their prices are always great and you know when you buy something there, you will get a decent deal. By the way, their food prices are great. I was going to buy some items at a grocery store, but was able to find them at Target cheaper. read more

I found the Champion brand waffle weave athletic pants that I love so much today on my day off. Bought them in blue w/white trim, black w/white trim, and black w/blue trim! Now I gotta hit another Target to find the only one I didn't find in my size which is the medium grey w/pink trim. Got size medium and now I hope the fit and hopefully they won't be too long. In general, I like Target. Though it's a corporate conglomerate, Target is convenient for...well, convenience goods and everyday items. I used to like this location since it's fairly large and clean. There is quite a lot of business going in and out but it's not too bad. However, the reason I'm starting to dislike this one is because something's wrong with the management. I've seen them standing, almost hovering, like they are micromanaging their employees. (It's uncomfortable to witness.) I've felt like I've been hassled when using coupons (one or two), when using an e-gift card, or when returning items (w/ receipt). Somehow the person at the register tends to be slow or dumb and has to call management.....and the management ALWAYS finds a way to tell me to come back next time. They are rude (in a veiled way). I'm quite disgusted. I can't say for sure, but I feel like something's not quite right with the management here. Has anyone else had that feeling? I LOVE TARGET!! I come here to literally buy everything, which means I am usually here at least once a week. Some specific things I love about Target: 1. Sales - buy x or more of x item and get a $x gift card. 2. price scanners - they are available throughout the store and you can check/confirm the price of an item 3. For boys, they carry Shaun White clothing. Pretty cool clothing, so much better than the typical boring clothing you will find at a department store. 4. Clearance section - in this particular store, along the wall closest to the Pharmacy, there are usually a number of items on clearance. We have picked up everything from toothpaste to candles here for a good price. read more

I did an online order for this Target and picked up at this location. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the ease and convenience. As another option to online Amazon shopping, Target has made it much easier to counter the free shipping with in-store free pickup and free in-store return directly for refunds. This made Target much friendlier than before to shop and also on par with Amazon in terms of convenience. The interesting thing is that Amazon is actually quite expensive for everyday goods. I was looking for some simple ant bait spikes, which cost twice as much on Amazon as Target. Thus, I placed the order on Target.com and tried to pick up at this store. Overall, the experience is smooth and easy. I would definitely shop everyday goods at Target again, especially given the pricing differences. read more

Today before 2pm I went to my favorite Target with my friend at Stevens Creek in Cupertino. I found 2 boy's shirts from different color and different size (same model and brand) in the clearance section. As many of the products in this section, the products without the red label and which were supposed to be on special offer. My friend told me that it happened to her before, I just take both shirts to the cashier and they finally consider the lower price because the store has an excellent customer service. It seems that it depends on the supervisor on duty and the " face of the customer " because it did not work for me. Anyway, my complaint and disappointment here is the way this store label its articles. Many times we have to take pictures of the promotional big tags otherwise we may have surprises at the moment we pay. This is very uncomfortable not only for the client but probably for the cashiers as well. read more

What is up with this Target? Since they've reopened after canceling the renovation (???), it's just been off... Disorganized goods, completely empty shelves - it makes me feel like I'm shopping in some soviet-era store where you need a suitcase full of devalued currency to bargain for a half-eaten loaf of stale bread. Received a $25 Visa Gift Card several years ago that just turned up. The expiration date is still several years out. I checked the balance online and found that no purchases had been made, but a -$25 'credit' had been applied to the card whatever a negative credit is; sounds like a debit to me. Somehow the $25 card with the -$25 credit has a balance of $1.06. WTF? I called the number on the back to try to get to a human who could provide an explanation. I was disconnected when I made the selection for the human, twice. I contacted Target via Chat and was told to call the number on the back of the card. I contacted Guest Services via email and received an automated response to call the number on the back of the card. Word of warning. Never buy a Target Gift Card. If you want someone to have $25, give them cash. Cash doesn't get lost in a drawer and never expires or has its balance stolen. read more

Been here many times. Great store. Recently one team member went above and beyond to get what I was looking for.

What have they done to the store? They have remodeled and I can't find the clothes I used to like. The clothing department is confusing; I can't tell if I'm looking at junior or women's clothes, can't find the T-shirts I liked, and all they have are skinny jeans and jeggings. The home department seems to have shrunk; they had very few sheets to choose from. The toy area is now huge, and groceries is bigger. I don't need another grocery store, I want sheets, lamps, towels and cute shirts and jeans. They are forcing me to buy online. Guess I will have to go to Kohls and Bed Bath and Beyond. read more
