Been shopping this location for almost 20 years! Quality of the products goes up and down. Back in the day, like 10 years ago, they actually used to have a lot more designer shoe options. Like I'm talking really expensive designer at a fraction of the cost. I haven't seen designer shoes at this location for years now. It's unfortunate because that was one of my favorite aspects of shopping here. Now the only "designer" items, if you can call it that, they carry, are Kate Spade and Dooney and Bourke bags (which are hilariously kept locked in a glass case). I've seen the random higher end like Tiffany's keychain and Valentino sunglasses. But you're hard pressed to find any high-end designer items at this location. They do have a fabulous home section, though. Pillows and towels and decorative knickknacks at this location. And they actually do carry some great decorative furniture pieces too. I get some great deals on clothing for my six-year-old daughter. If she needs new clothes, this is my first stop before Target. I would say for the most part, the store is kept as organized as it can be considering how much product they have to put out in the space they have. The fitting rooms could be cleaner. There's always balls of dust on the floors in the fitting rooms. They could stand to run a vacuum through there every morning. I have always found the staff to be pleasant. The only annoying thing is when you are checking out they consistently ask if you want to get the Marshalls/TJ Maxx credit card. And they think they are enticing you with 10% off your purchase if you join. But if you actually do your homework, you'll see that the interest on their company's credit card is outrageous - making that 10% off irrelevant. Don't fall for it unless you plan on paying off your purchase immediately. Otherwise getting their credit card is kind of a trap. read more

I had fun shopping in here today. I think, out of all the HomeGoods and Marshalls locations, in the South Bay, this particular location is the best one. They have a huge parking lot out front that is shared with other businesses in that strip mall. They also offer several handicap parking spots. Right when you walk in they had a clearance section where I found a Velvet Caviar phone accessories set for $16. That's quite a deal. Normally they are $99. I found a couple of cute St. Patrick's Day decorated plush cats. I got one for myself and one for my BFF. There selection of St. Patrick's Day, Valentine's Day and Easter decor and gifts is exceptional. They had a lovely selection of wrapping paper. I found a roll that had strawberries all over it. I had to get one of those. The checkout line was not bad. They had plenty of employees at the checkout which made the line move fast. Everything in the store is displayed so nice and is very organized. I definitely recommend shopping here. read more

A good store and friendly and available staff. My biggest complaint and one which may be a safety/security issue is that there's no wifi or cell signal in most of the store. The manager stated they don't offer WiFi (which I could use to make wifi phone calls). Many of the other businesses offer WiFi, but not this home goods. I don't quite understand in this day and age why a business, especially one whom in which customers can't connect to cell service, wouldn't offer WiFi. read more

The BEST Marshalls/homegoods!! Everything is so organized and well stocked. Employees are also very friendly.

Cute home decor items, beauty products, shoes, accessories, gym/workout items, makeup, pet products, and even healthy snacks =) Those can be located by the cashiers or in the back of the store by the kitchen items. If you're looking for a bargain better than TJ Maxx than this is the place to come to. Although, I've noticed by visiting different Marshall locations some carry better items than others and vice versa. read more

This Marshalls Home Goods is a great place to look for gifts and stocking stuffers. The store feels a bit cramped with many narrow aisles you can barely push your shopping cart through. The shopping cart doesn't fit through some of the most narrow aisles, or can't make the tight turns to continue through. They really pack things in, so it can be a challenge to find things. And the lack of space means they can't display as much merchandise as other larger Marshalls stores ... such as larger home furnishings, or even the holiday-themed cat trees that I saw at another Marshalls store recently. There is a fitting room at the back to try on clothes, and a restroom to the left of the fitting rooms. The most annoying thing about this particular Marshalls location is that it is a "dead zone" for my mobile phone. There is no data connection at all. Can't web surf, check email, or send text messages. This makes it challenging to text someone to ask if they're interested in suchandsuch item I see in the store, or to text someone to share my excitement at finding suchandsuch item in the store. Marshalls does not offer free wifi to customers. There's a large parking lot and I never have any problems finding a space. read more

Beware! There is a pickpocket at this store, and management and security could not care less. I asked to see security camera footage, and the manager on duty (A.F.) could not be bothered to stop straightening items on a shelf or offer any compassionate response. She seemed bored, as if she'd heard it a million times before. She told me security had already gone home for the day (at approximately 6 p.m.) and said the store could not view footage unless police requested it. I called the next day and spoke to store security, who repeated the same thing about protocol. Mountain View Police Department dutifully took my report, but failed to investigate or return my calls. We were rushed and treated very rude by Haydee. Just like everyone else we waited in line. I asked her to break my up in two transactions. As she ran my items up she kept saying Oh my God, Oh my God and she became impatient and frustrated. She became loud where everyone in line heard her getting loud with us. My issue is that I watched her help other people and she did not get frustrated with them but for some reason she decided to read us unfairly. I was very disappointed with Haydee's services today and I hope she gets training and learns the patients which should come with this job. read more

On Monday March 10, 2025 i was shopping in this store, and I saw suit jackets, (Blazers) upon further inspection, they looked very poor quality unlike Men's Wearhouse, so I bought a belt, Goo-gone, and a hair brush, I think it always wise to dress smart and sophisticated, but the clothing at Marshalls looks cheap and priced cheap, and they love pushing the seasonal items which take up more home storage space - I don't celebrate any holidays any longer since both my parents have passed, all seasonal items have gone to the goodwill, So I have no reason to shop at Marshalls again. read more

This 5 stars is for Fredi helping me today during lunch hours. He was not assign for the department but he was kindly helping after no one responded from the floor. However, one star for the management since everyone seems busy with their project but the customer service part is lacking due to the project seems be time consuming. I understand this is a price friendly store. However, there's room for improvement for the management. I was not being helped with the specific assigned person in for the rug section. It was busy in the store and I don't blame them for helping out the line in the front first. But this shouldn't be a reason to reject the support to a customer since the tasks are assigned do specific. So one star to whoever decides to manage that way. read more

It's a combo Marshalls & Home Goods. There was a great selection of items in the Home Goods section and I do really like how they've added the extra separators at the cash registers to ensure guest and staff protection. Clean, lots of options, and fairly organized for having so many things. The line for check out is usually long and they were counting folks to make sure they were not over the limit of people in the store which was great. read more

This Marshall's I have found to usually have a deal hidden in the racks at some point. This one has home good items and bought a wood tv stand from here which actually was well build for a great price. As with any store like this , little disarray when looking for your size or a specific item, but can say each time I stop in find a good deal on something I need. One of the better Marshall's stores that I've visited! Usually when I go to Marshall's there's the expectation that you don't find much since it's a hit or miss. However, when I visited the Mountain View Marshall's there was so much merchandise that I've never seen before at other locations! This one is a combo store so there's also a HomeGoods attached with it, and there's an abundance of things. The baking and kitchen section is huge and there are lots of name brand things. The clearance section is also massive and I was able to find some really nice plates for a steal. I also appreciate that the store is well kept and organized. The line to checkout also isn't super long like some stores I've visited in the past. Also, there's tons of selection for clothing and shoes and luggage, with name brands sprinkled here and there as well as designer brands too. Parking is pretty easy in the huge shared lot. read more

I really like shopping at this location. They have a wide variety of selection and they're always with the seasons. But, the only thing that makes it hard to come back is the customer service from one specific employee. This employee is always rude and never seems to want to help. Which i find funny considering its in her job description, to help customers. Her name is Haydee. Store is excellent when it comes to cleanliness and arrangement of items. I was super glad to see their unique collection of show pieces right when you enter the place. So pleasant. As I was leaving Marshall's/HomeGoods , the one in Mtn. View at closing time, the employee that was busy bring shopping carts back into the store, stopped and took my cart from me and politely said " I'll just follow you to your car". And then he put all my packages in my car for me. As he was leaving he said " ma'am , every time you come here, you no need to do anything yourself, we take care of you". How nice. This was the first time I have been in the store. It seems that it has everything that it says it has. My girlfriend and I ended up picking up a stand for plants, as well as a rug for my room. The things that they have are amazing. What makes this store difficult to go to again is the customer service. Everyone looks overworked and upset. Many of the workers on the floor are a little older so the ... mannerisms are prevalent. The gentleman who came to help us take down the rug was having a hard time maneuvering the rug. We offered help to which she said, "no, no. Let me do it." I am sure that this is a company policy to avoid any thing that would happen to a customer, but this gentleman looked like he really needed some help. On top of that, as we were walking to the cashier, one of the workers who looked like she had just had the largest fit in the world, walked right in front of our cart without saying a word. It is not the fact that she walked in front of it, it was the fact that I could not see her, and our cart was filled with things to buy. I would have felt horrible if I accidentally hit her and the only reason I did not hit her as I happen to catch a glimpse of her right before I continued walking. Finally when we got to the cashier, she looked like she was having a bad day and pushing through. I respect that, but I know that that may not be a reflection of the space this store wants to provide. I am sure that I will return because they have great items here. However, customer service, or maybe employee morale, could be worked on. Now, if you are rolling, your eyes, wondering why I sound so petty when I write this review, it is because these are some of the small reasons that I know people do not return to certain establishments, including myself. Sure, if a place has everything you need that's always a plus. But wouldn't it be nice to pair that with some great customer service. You may go for the materials that are available but I firmly believe you always return because of the way you were treated. On Sunday, December 18, we came to this store to shop for gifts for a group of people (same gift for all). When I went to check the price on a "Popcorn Movie night" large glass bottle filled with popcorn and other goodies, I felt pain and realized my middle finger was cut. It wouldn't stop bleeding. I approached the first stall at the counter and a man checking customers out gave me hand sanitizer. He also called a supervisor who brought first aid items. My finger kept bleeding as I stood trying to apply pressure. A roll of paper towels was brought. What I didn't realize after the clerk helped me put on a bandaid and I took her to look at the item on the shelf that cut my finger was that the bottle top was broken and someone put it back on the shelf. It ruined the experience of shopping in a store that feels unsafe. The cut on my finger w is an inch long. read more

The Mountain View Marshall's was converted to a Marshall's & Home Goods a few months ago, big mistake IMO, The womens shoe department is much smaller, selection not as good, the clothing is not as well organized (carefully check sizes), the sheet selection (despite the 'Home Goods' emphasis) was paltry the day I was there. The mens clothing is in the back corner of the store. The emphasis seems to be on totchkes; half the store is filled with cutsy home decor items that you buy (or receive) as gifts that end up at Good Will or in the landfill; the entire front entrance is filled with seasonal decor stuff nobody wants or needs, as is the gauntlet known as the check out line which as long and slow (same as other Home Goods stores). Bottom line; the store is too small to be both Marshalls and Home Goods, in fact I think the old Marshalls had more home items (linens, towels, kitchen etc). In one word; disappointing. Follow-up, I stopped in on a weekday a few days later at lunch hour to return a few items, once again, very few cashiers about 12 people waiting in line, no doubt many of them wasting their precious lunch hour waiting inline. I lucked out here as after eating a lot of food at Sweet Tomatoes, I like to take a little stroll. So we walked around this Marshalls and well I found some goods! I typically give Marshall stores 3 stars as they're all typically the same, but this spot impressed. How so? Generally the beauty products are strewn just on the shelf with no rhyme or reason. Here it was organized by brand. Now that's what I call good organization. That just means everything else is as organized. I don't have to struggle or feel frustrated while I scan for goods. This Marshall's//Homegoods has it all!! Apart from the aisles being a little small for people AND carts I was very happy to shop here! Luis was EXTREMELY helpful and friendly. He cooked be the poster child for customer service. I bought a rug... a huge one... And he took it down for me off the wall, he rolled it for me, had it on hold in the front for me then came back to help me carry it to my car. It was a very busy afternoon inside Marshalls and Luis was extremely busy doing many things for many people and still was happy to help and I really appreciated that Customer Service! This was our first stop on a two-day-long expedition for all things empty-apartment filling. We needed some small furniture, lots of housewares, lamps, etc. The only thing we found here were some really cool goblets! ...That they only had four of. And we ended up returning. Both visits, the lines were extremely long and extremely slow-moving. The IN door was broken when I visited. There is a decent selection of designer clothing here that I normally don't see at other Marshalls. I saw a bit of Tory Burch, Theory, and even a lone Helmut Lang top. The prices are still a bit high (think $50 - $80) but I guess it is a discount compared to the MSRP. I didn't think the shoe section was that notable though. The purses were also lackluster. read more

Selections are a wide variety & great because of the combo of the 2 stores, you don't need to drive from a Marshall to a Homegoods store when you're hunting for stuff. The restroom was clean too. Most of the time, these discount stores are disorganized and dirty. Not this one. It's very clean and they do carry things that I love for quarter the price. Although I haven't bought clothing from here, I have bought things for the home and my favorite Yankee Candles. Paying less for the same stuff I can buying at the high end stores is smart so I rather save than be stupid. There are some useless things here too. But if you know what you like and know what things are worth, this definitely is a great store. read more

I have a love/hate relationship with Marshalls. They have good prices but the majority of the ones I've visited have been disorganized and dirty. Not this one! They keep the place clean and organized, and the front entrance section they stock with newer/seasonal items. They have a good selection of shoes and they keep the newer items in the front (so if you're not that committed to dig, don't bother going towards the back). They have a great selection of beauty products at discount prices ($10 for brand name ginormous-size conditioners) and their mens selection of shirts and ties is bigger then most places. Last visit find: Steinbach Nutcrackers. Anyone who knows anything about nutcrackers (random, I know...) knows these suckers go for $360+. Marshalls price: $99. That alone bumps up the cool factor by a star. Go during the weekday before the lunch crowd (11:30ish) or after (1pm). Weekends? Meeh! Be ready to bust out 'dem elbows! read more
