Summery dress

Bloomingdales is my favorite store to shop at! I love to stroll in "just to look" and try on things for fun but also go when i'm looking for something for an event coming up. The layout, lighting, and neat hanging of all the clothes from different brands make it easy for me to see what pops out at me. I love when i feel like the clothes find me! I've shopped here recently twice, one for a wedding event and one for my birthday dress just on a whim. The clothes r higher end but make me feel so good so im happy i can come here and shop bc it's so close by! Also, their tailoring isnt free but the service is very convenient as u can get a tailor called up to help u right before or after purchase. They usually require at least a week but can let them know the urgency. We've paid $65-$120 for different dresses.

Excellent 5-star service from Mariam at fine jewelry department and the other female staff at dinnerware area. With Mariam, our conversation started off with a mutal agreement that "real diamond is not the same as lab-created diamond, and it's much better." A common sense is not so common anymore? She not only answered all my questions but introduced me to loyalty program so we could take advantage of reward saving. Besides being professional and knowledgeable, she was also patient, warm and honest who didn't try to hard sell or up sell, instead focused on building relationship with me. She cared about what I wanted and respected my choices. I liked her advice of "put your liking first." when I expressed the tendency of considering my offspring's liking. Moreover, while being congruent, she also made wonderful suggestions. I will keep her in mind for future jewelry shopping. We also learned about "Villeroy & Boch" dinnerware pieces from the awesome staff. Their ceramic/porcelain wares are amazing! Looking at them fascinated me as I am learning ceramics and love odd-shaped mugs and plates. Highly recommend checking them out.

(Ryan Reynolds voiceover) The vibe is fab boutique shop within Bloomingdale's. MONCLER! Hannah & Bianca warmly greeted me. I was looking for a white puffer coat... Without hesitation Hannah, pulled out a sporty Moncler creation. It was fab but a tad large. She offered to special order the jacket and have it avail by le weekend. Wow! And for sizing she brought out another jacket of a similar cut that accentuates my fit physique. I do have a predilection for mischief. Isn't that right, ladies? Well, it was perfect! And the bold shine puts a new spin on silent luxury. My gosh, I felt like Tom Cruise! Wow. Just imagine Tom as Green Lantern. Stop...not sure where that was going. Haha! The point I was trying to make was there was a great feeling of warmth and playfulness underneath the somewhat sinister shine of the black puffer that it made me feel like Ethan Hunt in the next Mission Impossible movie. Had to get it. Felt like Moncler could help me make any Mission possible. Hannah & Bianca, thank you! You ladies rock! Ciao for now! And you know I'm coming back! Woohoo! ‐----------------------------------------------- The vibe is Bloomingdales here at Valley Fair! Maritza warmly greeted me! I needed a vat of the best Kiehl skin care product to keep my skin uber soft from all the manly things I do from sitting at cafes to swimming a mile. Chlorine and caffeine can be rough on the skin. Maritza helped toute de suite. And the Kiehl Crème de Corps fit the bill beautifully! Sans fragrance aussi! Perfect! Got a small travel size for the gym bag as well. Then she went out of her way to provide samples of other Kiehl facial wash skin care products that were definitely superior to what I usually use (dilute Palmolive dish soap). Will definitely give it a try. The prompt service, the amazing product selection, and the care is truly what sets the white glove standard here at Bloomingdales! Merci, Maritza! Would buy everything again! Woohoo!

You can get everything done in one stop! Mall is clean. Parking lot is huge. The one thing I have to ding them on is the lack of good restaurants. There's an L&L, Pasta Market, Smashburger on the main strip. Across the lot is Panda BJs and Chilis. If they had more eateries to choose from that would be great. There was a scary delusional person yelling obscenities while he walking along the strip. However, mall security must have shooed him away because you heard him one minute and the next minute, silence.

Your security think customers are stupid. Over explaining things and saying that the Owner doesnt want people with drinks and food outside of the venue. Instead of stopping local people from bringing in a drink from establishments in the same block, they should be actually doing something to keep people safe. This is an idiotic policy that does nothing but stop people from spending money. I'm not interested in coming here anymore because of it. In this economy you should be doing better. You just lost me as a customer and I will not recommend this place to anyone. Avoid this venue if you have outside drinks and food they will just give you a hassle over it. They make you take it to your car and reiterate the same bs policy. It's not worth it!

Still 5 stars. I went to the Dior counter and wanted to try the limited edition holiday palette…read more They didn't have it in stock but Fanak, the manager applied a full face of makeup complete with all Dior products. The palette looked great on. I ended up ordering the palette and picked up a holiday lipstick that she recommended that I love. Fanak knew how I liked my makeup just by looking at what I had on. If price was no object I would have bought more from her. I left the counter feeling pretty and excited about the products. She told me how she did the eyeshadow so I hope I can replicate it! I also found some holiday gifts at another part of the store and she also ran me up for those too.

I thought about this, and I think these are the issues with this store:…read more1) No employee seems to stay long, and most people seem inexperienced, bored, and new. The old Nordstrom I knew had employees who stayed for decades. For years, the same guy who sold high end shoes always helped me and knew me. The cosmetics staff were super friendly and knowledgable and I would return to them (they gave me their card). Not one employee at this store is recognizable anymore from one trip to another and no personal cards. 2) The customers are ruder and more entitled and don't even buy stuff (which might explain the exodus of the best employees). 3) used to have great special events, like a huge holiday makeup event with experts from the industry for card holder you had to RSVP 4) live piano music!!!!! 5) dressing rooms: you are on your own most of the time 6) the vibe is completely off here and no one seems to be selling or buying much... 7) the physical paper copy of the Anniversary Sale I grew up in Seattle, and, when I moved to Silicon Valley 25 years ago, Nordstrom was still my favorite best store ever. I miss it. I actually prefer The Rack in Saratoga these days or just shopping online.

I'm a big fan of Marshalls as I love their name brands at discount prices, but honestly don't…read morefrequent this location often since I'm rarely in the area. However I was passing through today and decided to stop by. This location is in the Pruneyard shopping center in Campbell. Parking is chaotic - there was someone driving the wrong way down one of the aisles facing the front of the store - luckily I was paying attention! On this Saturday afternoon, I found the store jam-packed with fall things - good selection, but honestly the aisles were very tight and it felt claustrophobic with so much merchandise! The shoes were especially hard to shop as the shelves are pretty tall. Some of the housewares/home goods were stacked precariously such that it was hard to look as you wouldn't want there to be an avalanche of merchandise! The clothes racks were pretty stuffed making it hard to browse. And lots of clothes were on the floor! They need some recovery, stat! The checkout line was also very long. But at least there are fun temptation items throughout the line for those impulse buys and to help make the wait seem shorter! One positive note, every worker I encountered today was genuinely friendly and helpful - kudos for that!

This was not my favorite Marshalls location. Of course, it can be one of those life rules that…read morewhen you're not looking for anything in particular, or if your budget is in a constrained state, you will find lots of tempting items. Conversely, if you are in need of a particular item, you may not be able to find what you're looking for at Marshall's on that specific shopping trip. The latter situation applied to my recent pop-in to this location. It was NFL playoff weekend, and we had gone up to San Jose for a quick visit to a relative who has suffered health set backs and we want to see her and offer support. I had packed some 49ers gear for the game, but after they lost I didn't want to be wearing the fan scarf as it wasn't a pretty loss. I had neglected to bring a different scarf, and I was down to all black in my wardrobe I'd packed. That didn't seem uplifting for a visit to a care center. Figured that Marshall's might have a pretty floral scarf that would brighten up my outfit. Not so much. I ended up with a Hawaiian print ruana, which wouldn't have been my first choice, but it was definitely more cheerful than the plain layers underneath. Before I settled on that ruana, I did a fast pass throughout the store looking for scarves, vests, anything that would brighten up my look. It was sad pickings. The clothes I saw were a whole lot of colors that don't suit me (pale pink or mauve = nope!), and nothing fashion-forward with spring coming soon. It was not a good crop of styles that day. In general the store seemed to be in a post-holidays doldrums state. I was disappointed overall. The line to checkout was long, and even their teaser items in the checkout queue area weren't very interesting. I don't know if their buyers just weren't able to find good stuff, but I wasn't having a good shopping expedition with what they had to offer.
