First of all, I'm a huge Marshalls fan. This location is super convenient for me since I work nearby. The selection is great and their clearance events are an added bonus. I've personally found Merrell hiking shoes, La Canadienne waterproof leather boots, Elizabeth Arden skincare, & Kate Spade goodies. The reason I deducted a star is there is always a super long line at checkout. Please consider hiring more cashiers or call for help from coworkers when you notice the line being 5 or more deep. avoid this location, consistently there are over 12 people in the line, with 2 to 3 cashiers and at least three additional cashier spots, with nobody there.. I'm literally standing in a line that was 22 people long and three cashiers and they did not call anybody else to help ring people up. You can estimate standing in line about 1 to 2 minutes per person in line. Which doesn't seem so bad, but if you are in any kind of rush, or just don't like to stand for 20 minutes, don't come here. read more

This was not my favorite Marshalls location. Of course, it can be one of those life rules that when you're not looking for anything in particular, or if your budget is in a constrained state, you will find lots of tempting items. Conversely, if you are in need of a particular item, you may not be able to find what you're looking for at Marshall's on that specific shopping trip. The latter situation applied to my recent pop-in to this location. It was NFL playoff weekend, and we had gone up to San Jose for a quick visit to a relative who has suffered health set backs and we want to see her and offer support. I had packed some 49ers gear for the game, but after they lost I didn't want to be wearing the fan scarf as it wasn't a pretty loss. I had neglected to bring a different scarf, and I was down to all black in my wardrobe I'd packed. That didn't seem uplifting for a visit to a care center. Figured that Marshall's might have a pretty floral scarf that would brighten up my outfit. Not so much. I ended up with a Hawaiian print ruana, which wouldn't have been my first choice, but it was definitely more cheerful than the plain layers underneath. Before I settled on that ruana, I did a fast pass throughout the store looking for scarves, vests, anything that would brighten up my look. It was sad pickings. The clothes I saw were a whole lot of colors that don't suit me (pale pink or mauve = nope!), and nothing fashion-forward with spring coming soon. It was not a good crop of styles that day. In general the store seemed to be in a post-holidays doldrums state. I was disappointed overall. The line to checkout was long, and even their teaser items in the checkout queue area weren't very interesting. Go Marshalls!! We must have gotten there at the right time because they had so many nice things. The women's sweaters are so cute. I bought three different ones for the winter holiday season. And the prices were unbelievable good too! I needed some Christmas gift card boxes. They had a whole section of different Christmas themed boxes as well as gift wrap and bags. I found some cute Maruchan ramen bowl gift sets and would make a great Christmas gift. My friend and I spent a good hour plus in Marshall's. We both found some amazing deals. The checkout line was long but when by fast. They had plenty of employees working at the registers. The associate that helped me was so sweet. That kindness really made my day. Who is in charge of this place ? Every time I come here there is NEVER ever enough cashiers to handle the customers. Today, on a Monday afternoon, the line was wrapped around the displays into the back probably 30 people in line and like two cashiers. If you don't have enough cashiers, then you as a manager should be on the floor ringing or you should hire more people or get other people off the floor to come in and handle your customer so they don't have to wait in line for half an hour. This is ridiculous ! Customers shouldn't have to ask cashiers to call for more backup to come over to handle the long line. These are some real retail basics here, so wake up and handle your store ! Well let's just say they have a lot of stuff for women including shoes, shirts, dresses, Capri pants, backpacks, and brands like Guess, Disney, and Rachel Zoe. Marshalls kind of reminds me of the Kmart for women's clothing. Prices seem reasonable, If you're a woman and like hunting for clothes and bargains then this is probably a store for you. This was the second Marshall's I hunted down to find the dog cookies someone I love could not find in their Florida location. Not only did he find them here but they were on clearance. Between the two Marshall's I visited here, I found 5 bags of the cookies and sent them on to the person who needed them! The clearance price saved enough money to cover shipping. I had a great experience today! All 3 employees that I asked for help, were pleasant and willing to give as much assistance as possible. The selection of perfumes and pajamas are legit. Smaller Marshalls, but they do a great job packing in the inventory. Be patient as the lines move slow. They don't like customers to use cash, and the restrooms are always closed for cleaning. Most rude worker ever. I was simply trying to do a return. She told me it was invalid and couldn't do anything about it. I said why and she just shrugs and says idk. She then says it's passed the 30 days. Told her it's impossible I bought Christmas Eve. You can find some gems here. But you have to be patient, and have a lot of time to browse. And a little lucky. They have a very large wrapping paper selection-- a ton of Christmas themed but also non-Christmas gift wrap as well, reasonably priced. I went in to get a couple of rolls and left with 7, ranging from $3-4.99. There were also larger rolls with higher prices. Not a good supply of ribbons though. I was totally shocked at the line on a Monday at 11. Is everyone doing Christmas shopping during their lunch hour?? But there were a good number of cash registers open, so the wait wasn't too long. The lines are really long at this location. It is about 3:35 on July 25. The line goes out into the aisles. Probably about 30 or more people waiting with two cashiers. Also, this location is reminding me of Ross. It is looking dumpy. For example in looking like Ross, the women's bathroom that used to be two stalls is now limited to only one stall for everyone that you now need a code to access. The lock was broken. Plus, it was not clean. The shopping experience is going downhill, to say the least. read more

I came to return something, I had the receipt. They refused to refund me bc of the condition of the shoe which was how I bought it there. She could not provide me any reason, or provide any policy. This place is very messy. There are clothes all over the floor and no associates anywhere to help. It's like a Ross which should tell you everything. You have to dig through everything and they only have 2 cashier's during its busiest times and you'll be waiting for at least 2 hours in line. Not worth the hassle. I always make it a habit to stop by and browse whenever I'm visiting the Pruneyard when time permits. Parking is never fun but that can be said for this entire complex so I won't hold that against you. [you're welcome] The store in itself is good in size but can be claustrophobic in certain areas. Everything is brightly lit and although this place could be a pigsty, there is always an employee or two on the sales floor trying to tidy things up. I'm not patient enough to sift through the endless racks full of miscellaneous clothing but I do enjoy walking through the shoe section, homegoods, and the snack aisle. 4 stars. Was in the Pruneyard Plaza and decided to check out Marshalls. This Marshalls is average sized compared to the other ones I've been to. They have a lot of brand names for skincare/makeup ranging from Too Faced, Kat Von D, Shiseido, Boscia, etc. I mainly go to Marshalls for skincare because of the huge discount. I saw a Shiseido moisturizer for retail at about $60 but the Marshall's price was $20 something. Great deal if you ask me! Don't sleep on Marshalls. Always great deals especially on skincare! There is an old lady w/glasses I believe her name was KATTIA.she made up her own rules and said that she can't return an item because it must be returned back to the other Marshall's. After a discussion & calling the original Marshalls that the item was purchased at, we came to conclusion that that was false information and not part of the return policy. She began talking loud & defensive again stating she would not return it. Despite the slightly higher sales tax rate for shopping in Campbell and the horrible parking situation you have at The Pruneyard, this Marshall's pretty much has it all! They have a great selection of Junior's and Misses clothes. I also like their huge variety of active wear. Since 90% of my time is spent training or dieting, I might as well LIVE in workout gear. They have the best deals on quality fitness wear. I also like shopping in their clearance section of the Home Goods, I always find something pretty awesome to add to our kitchen. And for someone with a common size shoe in 6.5, this Marshalls doesn't run out of this size as quickly as many others that I've been to down in SoCal. Maybe errrbody in the Bay has teeny tiny feeties or huge ass Shrek feet, whatever the reason...I love not having to deal with not finding my size. :) The lines here move pretty quickly even on a busy day. And the place is pretty organized compared to ghetto-drab Ross across the street. Great place to shop! read more

The 2 stars are for the cashier and manager helping me today because they were super nice and patient. I really commend them! They must have the patience of saints to work here!! I brought in 5 items to return and they literally have to scan, make tags or do something with it but it takes FOREVER to process the return. The cashier actually gave me a heads up that it's going to take a while. It's such a crap system for returning clothes. I don't blame the cashier or manager as they tried their BEST given Marshall's has the worst return system on the planet!! Other stores just scan your credit card or receipt and scan the sku numbers on the item and it's done in 5-10 mins tops. Not here. Just know you're in for a longggg tortuous wait with long lines behind you. Then, I had to get some stuff and wanted to use a merchandise credit card they had issued to me since 2019. It said on the card that it doesn't expire. So I just held on to it until now because I didn't go shopping at stores until now due to Covid. Well, the card was deactivated in 2020! Wonderful!! The manager helped me called the merchandise card company that issued the card and they said they can't do anything about it. Then she tried calling Marshal's customer service and they were close. So that's that for me. They can't do a thing to help. So folks, if you have a merchandise credit card with them then keep the receipt and try to use it ASAP because they will deactivate it without your knowledge and they aren't going to take responsibility for it. She had an attitude with the customers and said snarky remarks. Also the guy with the obvious widows peak. It's a Marshall's, you know? Somewhat hit or miss. This particular location does have a bit more of the Marshall's circa 2000 vibe (not in a bad way, just not the fancier remodeled ones that are popping up) All the usual stuff. The older I get the less of a shopper I have become, so I often leave stores either empty handed OR with some loot to make my dogs happy. How many purses, jeans, wallets and vases does one need? I feel ya' ladies, the browsing is super fun!!! If you struggle with overconsumption I highly recommend the book "Secrets of simplicity" by Mary Carlomagno, SO spot on!!! Anyways, back to this Marshall's at The Pruneyard; Tonight was my dog(s) night I guess. They scored a light up blinky ball, treats and a squeaker toy, all for $25!! I like this Marshalls because it has a big selection of clothes and shoes. Marshalls is best when I feel like shopping for clothes but don't have anything super specific in mind. I went in for work appropriate maxi skirts and there wasn't a skirt section, nor could I find any skirts like what I was looking for. There's a lot of space in the dressing rooms. There's a "men's" and "women's" side so it's not very inclusive for TGNC folks. I did get a cute shirt, jumper, and a dress I can wear to work. read more
