    Whaaaaaaaaaaaaattt???!
    John D.

Bulk You My least favorite Costco out of the seven here in the South Bay, which is a shame because this is one of the OG Costcos in the area. I remember going here for many, many years as a kid. The Good: *Tires *Outdoor food court w/ seating *Hearing and Optical Dept *Pharmacy *For me it's the closest to my abode The Meh: *No gas *The smallest Costco in SJ, at least. I always figured this was the case but needed to prove it, so I used the Google Earth measure tool and had it calculate the sq footage and it was easily the smallest and well-below the Costco avg. Almaden: 131,848 ft² Coleman/SJC: 134,385 ft² Average Costco size per Google: 146,000 ft² Great Oaks: 147,417 ft² Senter Rd: 153,892 ft² The Ugly: *Unlike most Costcos, this one doesn't have its very own shopping center but shares its space with a myriad of stores at one of the largest plazas in the South Bay. You see where I'm going with this right? Costco parking lots are bad enough on their own, but having to share it with all these other stores?! Fuhghefaboutit! Conclusion: Even tho this is the closest Costco to me, I'll almost always choose to drive the extra 10min to go to Great Oaks for the piece of mind and extra sq footage of stuff!

    They already have toys out

Arrived at Costco today before they opened at 9:00am. There were a lot of people already there, all lined up. Just before they opened, an employee announced that today they were enforcing their 9:00am shopping time for executive members only. All other memberships have to come back at 10:00am. Luckily I have an executive membership. Several people had to leave because of this new rule. Even with the new rule, it was still crazy busy inside. Right after you enter and they scan your membership card, they had muffins, cookies and bottles of water for the executive members. I thought that was very nice. The meat department was lacking today. They hadn't put out all the beef. So I had to wait until they stocked the meat fridge. Prices on meat have sure gone up. But still think, price wise, Costco is your best bet.

I like this Costco it's super close to my home, the only bad part is the parking lot since it is a big shopping center it gets super busy. They always have great deals and prices. The customer service is always great I've never had a bad experience at any Costco at all. They have everything you are looking for.

We purchased this beautiful casket on-line for my Mother's Service through Costco. They reached out to me the very next day to verify the shipping address was correct and to let me know when it would be delivered. Excellent service.

I love Costco. What I really appreciate is their commitment to offering organic, healthy food. It's clear they care more and more about quality, and they carry top brands across all categories with excellent customer service. The selection is fantastic, and you truly get the best value for your money. Costco's customer service is as outstanding as Nordstrom's.

    A decision was made...lol

This is definitely my go to Costco based on proximity and variety of items. It's always crowded, but sometimes going early does help. The staff are always friendly and nice. We tried the tire center and unfortunately didn't have a great experience there. Always great for deals and bulk item buys. Would highly recommend if you're in the area.

They never pickup the phone and if they do, they'll put you on hold and hang up. Very frustrating.

They do not, they only accept VISA.

    Correct, no gas station!

I haven't been in here a while. Do they still do the outdoor food court?

Where should I park to get my tires change?

The best place to park is near the tire center but wherever you park they will come and get your car and service it for you.

Given distance and traffic, I knew I'd…read morehave only 1 shot at getting the job right or the customer would have gone without water for a second day. None of the parts were available locally at Home Depot, my go-to, because I needed an odd-size, 1-1/4. So I went to Rubenstein's a bought 600+ dollars of parts, and I told the counter guys "this stuff is probably all coming back, I wish you had a restocking fee because it's only fair that I pay for borrowing the parts." they just waved me off and assured me come on back we'll take care of you. At the end of the day, only the most expensive part, the valve, and 1 other part was needed to close up the line, finish the job, and put a smile on my customer's face. Two days later, I returned everything else and the guys were unfailingly upbeat and helpful. For a plumbing store, in this particular situation, this is unusual. I left feeling good about the whole process.

Came to buy a simple shower cartridge thats sold $20 on amazon, but wanted same day for hot water…read more They found the part and didn't scan but instead went to back to ask supervisor for price. Charged $70, i didn't even mind knowing so because they helped me find me the part I thought would fit. I doubled checked with employee 2x that I could return if its not a fit. Returned it because it caused my warm water to be just cold. They straight up said no because i installed it. I had them ask the manager twice and he came out said no, he didn't listen to anything and just said employee informed me I can't return it when i purchased it. So scammy, I didn't reply. Just left and even left the cartridge, manager replied with a snarky attitude "thank you!" Didn't care much for the money and would never come back and will refer all friends and family not to visit. Also horrible service, I waited with one employee at front and 4 ppl in office staring at front.

This is the best restaurant supply store in the bay area for home cooks for both selection and…read moreprice. 1) the home style cuisinart food processors have small motors. They aren't designed for making baby food, almond butter from almonds or grinding frozen meat into paste for making cha lua or hotdogs. Can smell the burning electric motor smell from home appliances. This smell is toxic and emits cancer causing chemicals. The commercial appliances here don't have that problem. Costs more but you have equipment which fits the task. 2) The home pizza ovens which are popular require peels to get the pizze in and out of the 800 degree oven. They sell both metal and wood versions. The pizza stones for home ovens are much cheaper here than Amazon because it costs more to ship heavy items and AMZN adjusts the price to reflect that even though shipping is "free". Prices better than online and you can see the quality of the product. They have both 16 and 12 inch sizes for peels, etc.. The newer lower cost electric/gas home pizza ovens are 12. They have bread baking pans and detroit pizza pans in stock! No need to go online to get them. The long handles for pizza peels make them unattractive for shipping. If they are shipped then price is 2x of what you see here. 3) Cutting boards, they have the fancy John Boos wood cutting board considered by many to be the best made to cheaper and lighter bamboo boards and poly ones. All come in larger sizes. Not the smaller sizes sold in costco. Much better variety here. Same comment as above for pizza stones. Cheaper than online because heavy items are expensive to ship. Will never get a sub $50 price for a large cutting board online but you can here. 4) Kitchen utensils, heat proof spatulas, long handled stainless steel soup spoons, slotted spoons; stainless steel serving tongs, thermometers, everthing 1/3 - 1/4 the cost of williams sonoma with more useful design like longer handles for deep stock pots. WS doesn't sell long handled spoons. spatulas, because most home cooks have cheaper small pots and skillets. 5) steamers, they have larger sized bamboo and stainless steel steamers for making dimsum. The Asian markets have a limited selection of steamers and WS or costco will never sell steamers. Designed for Asian cuisine. Steaming much healthier then other forms of cooking. 6) Glassware, they have the larger Picardie, 16oz+ in stock! They don't break. Most RS stores only sell cheaper imitations but they are the same price and the Picardie glasses here and lousy quality. 7) Plastic serverware; they sell larger dimension plastic serving platters; good for parties or home use. The larger ones made of porcelain are too heavy and difficult to store. They only go up to a certain size because of cost. Recently most serverware is more than 100-300 each because of inflation. They see reduced sales because of the increased prices and most places are transitioning to not carrying these higher cost items.

Excellent selection and friendly knowledgeable service. I have shopped here several times. Home…read moreCook
