Pretty awesome small, flirty, fun and feminine boutique in Campbell that reminds me my favorites ones in South Park hood in San Diego. I stumbled upon this boutique while browsing the Campbell farmers market that takes place on Sundays. The selection of dresses on display outside the store caught my attention, so could not resist:). I like the mirrored counter and how the jewelry is displayed (although I have to confess that I am more into the clothing, very unique dresses, than the accessories that look less refined). It is a small store but that is what you should expect from a boutique: a Pandora box of cute surprises. Definitively the place to find many of those.

Their bag comes with a lil ribbon--cute!

Great fun-jewelry at pretty awesome prices. The owner makes sone of the jewelry herself. The girl working there was cheerful and sweet and I had a great time browsing for my sister's gift. Bought a necklace n earrings set for my sister (posted a picture on here.. it's a necklace with different color clear crystals)! Then I bought some cheaper stuff for myself. Would definitely come by again to check things out.

Their sale rack located outside did not fail me again! Dress for $24!

This is one of my favorite boutiques! It is so incredibly affordable and has the prettiest dresses. The sale rack outside the store has yet to fail me. I have bought 3 dresses so far all of which were $30 or less. Their clothes are colorful and full of beautiful prints and for females of all sizes. It makes me so happy to find my size (Large) as many boutiques often do not have sizes and clothes for curvy women. The employees I've been greated by are incredibly sweet and genuinely want to offer help. It makes shopping at this cute little easier. I'll definitely be coming back to check their merchandise because their dresses are one of a kind and reasonably priced.

I love that it offers a true boutique shopping experience without the boutique price tag, and I can usually count on finding something I love. Unfortunately, my experience today (3/18) fell short of what I've come to expect over the years. When I walked in, I wasn't greeted, which is something I've always appreciated in the past--it really sets a welcoming tone. Jocelyn eventually helped me into a dressing room, but along the way there were several missed opportunities for basic customer service. I was browsing with my arms full, and at no point was I offered help holding items or starting a fitting room, which would have made shopping easier. When I was ready to try things on, I was asked to sort and count my items due to the 6-garment limit. I completely understand and respect that policy as a way to manage inventory in a small business. However, during that process, a few items fell behind the counter and weren't addressed at the time. Once in the dressing room, there was no check-in to see how things were fitting or if I needed different sizes or colors--something I've consistently experienced and appreciated during past visits. I did ask to swap out items, and Jocelyn was helpful and pleasant in doing so. At checkout, the items that had fallen behind the counter were brought up again, and I was asked if I wanted to try them on. Since I was already dressed, I declined, but it would have been helpful if those had been handled earlier. There was only one other customer in the store, who had already checked out by the time I was in the fitting room, so it didn't seem particularly busy. I've always associated Bombshell Boutique with attentive, thoughtful service--being greeted, having items held, and receiving support in the dressing room. That level of care makes a big difference and is part of why I've been a loyal customer for so long. This visit just felt a bit lackluster in comparison. I'll definitely be back, but I hope this was just an off day.

But I went in to find a birthday present for a Chinese girlfriend with really good taste in fashion and maybe buy a cute hair clip for myself. A clerk started giggling at me as soon as I walked into the store. Another sales lady walked up to me with a highly disapproving look on her face. "We don't have anything here in your size," she said. I could just tell she was envisioning me ripping the seams out of one of her $180 skirts trying to zip it over my fat ass. I'm well-acquainted giggles and rejection from clothing sales clerks in Thailand, Hong Kong, China, and Japan. But I wasn't expecting it here. Oh well; they lost my business.

Over the years, I've bought hair clips, cell phone charms, skirts, and dresses. The lady was very professional and nice. She is not pushy at all, and lets me have my time browing through the things. When she recommended an item to me, she was not pushy either. Many times I don't buy anything but just tried a few pieces on. She was not angry, like some other Asian store owners do. They have cute Korean style clothes. The price tags are pretty expensive, but they go on sale after a while, like 50% off. I like many styles there, but sometimes just didn't buy them due to the price. Sometimes they have on-sale items hanging outside the store. $29.99 a piece. I've found great bargains there. I bought a summer skirt, a winter skirt, and a full dress! Great deals.

My issue has been the attitude of the one specific person who was working each time I went. Pushy as heck every time, following me around and talking at my back as I look at products- if I wasn't in need of gifts I would've walked out immediately. I don't need to be hounded as I shop. Couldn't answer simple questions based on what she tried to explain to me: Me looking at a resin platter. Salesgirl: it's so pretty isn't it? Me: it is but it is uneven when laid flat and the handles are different on each side. Her: Oh it can be "warmed up and flattened so it isn't uneven" if u "leave it in the car" Me: umm huh? Her as she quickly walks away: yeah or heat it up in the oven and like press down on it on the countertop. Me: Ok so what temp can it be safely heated to? Her from behind the cash wrap: just heat it idk. So do you want it or not? Me: no thanks for that price ($200) I would want to know what "heated" means. Sounds like it isn't very possible to make it lay flat without knowing the specifics. Her: well then don't buy it. Me: yeah i definitely won't. I expected a nice reply like "Oh let me check with the Maker and get back to you" or "sorry I don't exactly know what i'm saying but our return policy is.. and here is how to contact the Maker." Still bought about $300+ of products on that visit but wrote this review in my head before leaving as she shot me eye daggers as she rang us up. Won't be in again if she is working. Or maybe ever...made it all very suspect.

This particular weekend I wanted to get something for my niece who is graduating high school as well as turning 18!! I found a really cute, simple necklace that was pretty yet unique along with some really nice earrings! Not exactly a matching set, but I bought them to not match. My niece loved them!! Easy $60 present and it was unique the lady behind the counter, even wrapped it in a cute little mesh bag. I had tissue paper at home so I added that to the little rustic brown bag to have a pop-up color and overall I will definitely be back!!
