The shop not only carries everything you need to build a board the also sell protection gear, shoes, socks, pants, and shirts as well as sunglasses and even Christmas ornaments, " which I bought, laugh out loud" Total price for the board was $129 which honestly after doing some interweb research is a pretty good deal for a quality skateboard. Anyone walking by has total access to them, which is a major food safety and tampering hazard. When I walked in with my water (which I medically need on hand for my medication) an employee aggressively bee-lined right toward me to demand I put it on the sketchy cart. When I explained I had a health requirement, she backed off, but the whole encounter was unpleasant. Management really needs to rethink leaving open customer drinks unattended in a public area, and staff should be trained on how to handle guests with medical needs respectfully instead of immediately cornering them. I wanted to purchase some earrings today, but because of the uncomfortable experience, I wanted to get out of there in a hurry. They lost a sale today.

This time my Mom and I hit the highway for a 5 1/2 hour drive to Los Gatos. My Mom is the ultimate cat fanatic, THEREFORE Los Gatos was a place we just had to viist so here we are on a serious mission to hunt down some PURR-FECT vintage cat treasures for her collection. We asked a few people at our hotel for local thrifts stores and a staff member recommended Happy Dragon Thrift Shop. This is a beautifully curated store located in the heart of town. The store is full of treasures ready to be rehomed. Happy Dragon was founded in 1958 supported by many volunteers. The store manager Mr. Robb is absolutely a delight. A humble person with a heart of GOLD. As a thrifter, finding good prices is important to me, but please remember that every thrift store prices items differently. Please do not let high price tags ruin your hunt, always take your time to enjoy the hunt. Your perfect find will show up at the perfect price For me on this trip I found: 1) Two adorable cat plant pots 2) A few Coca-Cola Americana style items 3) A a beautiful Waverly Arch Amerith hand held mirror dating back to 1920 (paid under $10.00 for it) There are amazing treasures waiting to be discovered here. NOTE while a few select items might be priced above market value, if you find something you truly love, then the price is right for you regardless of the market. I really tried to enjoy shopping there but just found it overpriced, with mostly worn out clothing, and no major bargains as if there was anything I would have wanted to buy. I have shopped at better thrift stores!
