    This is for the curbside pickup only. It's pretty nice and organized. It's much better than when they had it in the back of the building. You just follow the app instructions and will ask you the number. Easy enough

    I ordered an item online specifically to avoid the hassle of waiting for someone to unlock the in-store cages. However, when I came to pick it up (already inside the store), an employee told me I had to go back outside, get in my car, and locate the pickup area--something that wasn't clearly marked and was difficult to find. I then had to navigate a chaotic parking lot and wait another 10 minutes in the scorching sun before someone brought out my order. The employee who delivered it didn't verify my ID, even though Walmart claims they do this for secure pickups. When I opened the bag, I found the bottle was poorly resealed with packing tape, and the plastic hygienic cover that's normally under the lid was completely missing, and cream was clearly used. This is a product meant for your face--how could anyone feel safe using that?! The staff should have know that this item was in no condition to be re-sold. Completely unacceptable experience from start to finish.

    This review is for the Bakery department only. I recently ordered a custom cake from the Bakery department at Walmart. I placed the order online a few days in advance and signed up for text updates, but I didn't receive any updates apart from the confirmation of receiving my order. You can also check the status of your order online but I noticed it wasn't updated in real-time as my pick-up time was set to 1pm and when I checked at 1pm, it still said it was not ready for pick-up. When I arrived to pick up my cake, the worker was super nice and the cake was ready for pick up. I saw people customizing Walmart cakes on social media and knew I wanted to use Walmart for my next cake for my next milestone. I got a six-inch custom cake with white icing and a white shell border. I planned to decorate the rest of the cake myself for that Pinterest aesthetic I've been seeing online. I was thrilled with the outcome! Tastewise it was good, the icing was pretty sweet but I liked how the cake inside was soft and moist. I recommend giving the custom cakes a try for your next event.

It's the norm that most stores don't accept return on final sales. The more you accentuate it, the more contemptible it becomes. Even if customer attempts to return, so what? If you don't like to deal with people, you shouldn't be in service industry. I prefer to interact with the friendly staff.

I was able to see bags and charms from Coach, Tory Burch, Kate Spade, Longchamp, and many more designers. I had admired some of the bags online and enjoyed seeing what they looked like in real life. The biggest surprise was Coach. I burned out on Coach purses over 10 years ago, but found some of their bags to be quite beautiful and well-made. I also saw some Tory Burch bags I really liked, and I'm not usually a fan. One sales associate offered to assist me and then kindly left me alone and let me browse. Spending time at Nordstrom was one of the highlights of my visit to the mall.

I initially assumed she was another customer, as she made no effort to assist or acknowledge me--even after seeing me clearly looking for an available fitting room. All of the dressing rooms were filled with staged dresses, which made them appear unoccupied and ready for use. Since there was no guidance or assistance, I began trying on dresses in one of the rooms and asked my partner to come take a look. At that point, the same employee abruptly came in and told me I needed to move because someone else was assigned to that room. She insisted I gather all of my belongings and relocate--while I was in the middle of changing. The interaction was handled in a rude, passive-aggressive manner, and at no point did she apologize or offer any help. I was never checked on or assisted throughout my visit. This was a frustrating and uncomfortable experience, and the lack of basic customer service was disappointing. I would not recommend coming here if you expect respectful or attentive service.

Employees were moving out items to make room for the next seasonal holiday, which would be Easter. There were a lot of empty spaces in the middle of the store. They were some Valentine's Day items but not a whole lot. I ended up finding some nice lemon scented bar soaps that were made in Italy. They smelled so good. I also found a cute Pusheen gel pen set. Both were a great price. There was a very long line at the checkout. It took about 10 minutes until I got to a register. The employee helping me at the checkout was very kind and courteous.

Then I ran to another Marshall's and found some there. The value was excellent as the savings covered the shipping to my loved one and they were VERY happy! Marshall's is a great store. Lots of variety and I will be back!

It's relatively clean and unlike Marshalls in Campbell, the clothes aren't all jammed on the racks, so it makes browsing easier and more pleasant. The dressing room procedure is annoying and cumbersome, because I always feel like I'm sus. It's not their fault I guess, It's a delicate balance of being in a high theft area, while ensuring that every consumer isn't assumed as a thief. It was a bit crowded but I was able to get where I needed to. The shelves were stocked up really nice for Christmas and they had so many great gift ideas. I found some really nice decorative Christmas boxes for putting gifts in. They had so many different kinds. It was hard to pick. The check out line moved very fast and the customer service was excellent. I enjoyed my shopping trip today. I look forward to coming back again in the future.

Their selection in many of the departments is minimal. I stopped by to return a Christmas gift that I received that didn't work out. I went directly to the customer service area where you do the returns. It wasn't too busy and there were only 2 people ahead of me. The Macy's associate greeted me when it was my turn. She asked me for proof of purchase. There was no gift receipt that came with the gift. It used to be, that the tag had the return barcode on it, but apparently this has changed. All she could do was return it for the price it currently was, since I didn't have a gift receipt. I'm not sure why they changed their policy, but that just made things more complicated. Then she said she had to wait and see what the register does after she processes the return. I might get a store credit on a gift card or might receive it in the mail. Luckily I was able to get it on a gift card right then. I'll have to remember when I purchase a gift here in the future to ask for a gift recipient. That way the person who receives my gift won't have to deal with this craziness if they aren't happy with my gift. Other than that, my experience with the customer service was good.

The store I actually live closest to now is the Macy's at Oakridge Mall, and for years it honestly felt like it was declining. The brands weren't as strong, the sales floor felt neglected, and the dressing rooms were constantly overflowing with racks, piles of go-backs, and clothes everywhere. As someone who worked in retail, I know customers don't always pick up after themselves, but it was clear the store was overwhelmed and understaffed. It stopped feeling like a store and started feeling like an empty box filled with fixtures and clutter. But something has changed, and I want to acknowledge it, because it's noticeable. Over the last 9-12 months, this Macy's has made a huge transformation. The store is open and clean. Dressing rooms are empty from piles of clothes. Go-backs aren't piling up. And for the first time in years, I've actually had sales associates approach me to ask if I needed help: friendly, present, and visible. It feels like a real store again, with energy and people who care. I know retail has changed over the decades, fewer employees, more online shopping, cost-cutting everywhere, but experiences like this remind me why some of us want to shop in person. When a store feels cared for, we want to support it. And honestly, I've bought more in the last couple of visits than I have in a long time. Whatever happened behind the scenes, whoever made the decision to turn things around -- thank you. This is my hometown Macy's, the mall I've been going to for 40+ years, just a few miles from home. I'm at the Target in this mall all the time, and now I actually look forward to walking through Macy's again. Really appreciate the effort this location has put in to bring the store back to life. I notice it, and I'm grateful for it.
