Came here to have passport photos printed. I was supposed to receive 2x passport photos. Upon returning home, I discover that it's just one 5x7 photo print I was charged $4.95 for. Photo was heavily pixelated so it wasn't usable, but it stated "This is an online passport order, please cut into 2x2" which I assume was instructions for the worker. Had to make another trip for passport photos so this was a waste of time and money. For future info, even Walmart has a better system in place for passport photos. I would just go to a mom/pop shop that does it for $20-30. read more

This location is actually technically closer and open longer than the other but honestly all the leads I've ever run into whether or not I am picking up an online order or just self check out... it's complete lack of resolution based thinking coming from the 'leads/supervisors'. Self checkout times out and creates an error... I have already uploaded all my online coupon and extra care savings. The one employee who was ACTUALLY helpful tried to assist with my purchase because she is aware when people use self checkout... a majority of us do it with minimal interaction and speed (keyword.. SPEED). The cashier calls the lead 'Maria' to assist with override because the self checkout needed to be restarted. So Maria's logic is now ... oh no I'm not overriding just WAIT for everything to come back on. Um okay let's do the exact Opposite of what your cashier was willing to do. Then partway through wanted to bring up my card but exclaimed after the self check out loads everything will be back up. NOPE! She still brought me over to the other register to bring up my card and proceed to now process my purchase. So essentially you could've just let the cashier do that from the beginning. Please CVS I implore you to educate your leads to actually quickly problem solve and not make dumb explanations to just do the same damn thing. Also update your systems this is ridiculous!!! Why pay for both incompetency at both ends systems and employees. I'd truly recommend actually listening and trusting your own employees. I was shopping for snacks at this CVS with my friends. I had a lot of snacks and this CVS did not have any baskets to hold. So I placed the snacks into a bag that I PURCHASED because I had too many things to carry. This elderly worker was just straight up recording me and very rude and I felt like I was racially profiled and attacked. She thought I was stealing. I am a minor and that made me very uncomfortable. I told her that they did not have any baskets so I resulted into using the bags I PLANNED TO PURCHASE to hold the snacks that I WAS GOING TO BUY. I came here last nighy looking for an allergy relief spray. I was confused with many options to choose from. After looking and comparing several different brands, I narrowed down to two different brands. I tried to ask for guidance but the pharmacy dept. was closed. However there was a young lady working in the back, stuffing medication in the bag. I was skeptical that I could get any help, but I took the chance. I was dying from the allergy symptoms. I was sneezing and my nose was dripping so bad. So I knocked on the metal gate not sure if i could get any help. Amazingly she heard my call for help. I showed to her the two brands that i picked earlier. She looked at the ingredients carefully from the boxes and gave me her opinion between the choices i picked. I thought that is an above and beyond incident. The department was closed and she was under no obligation to help me. But being a pharmacist is to help people and this young lady has desmontrate her skills, patience and passionate in what she does. Me and my friend was shopping at this CVS when we were racially profiled by a white woman, we don't know her name but she is an elderly woman, my friend and I were looking for a basket to hold our items but the CVS did not have any, so we had to use gift bags that we were going to purchase, the woman then popped out of the aisle and started recording us in her phone, we told her we weren't trying to steal, she then replied "sure okay," also while she was recording us an elderly man asked if she can help him find a item and she rudely waved him off and continued recording. Just awful. After getting out of the ER, went to pick up six prescriptions. When I got home, I realized they had only given me five of them. Called them the next day, spent at least 20 minutes drilling through the wall of AI telephone IVR that they hide behind. Eventually got to speak to someone who, after not knowing what the drug name was, concluded that the prescription needed prior authorization. This detail was never mentioned to me when I was there in person the night before. Absolutely terrible useless people who don't even care about their customers. I went to go pick up my medication one night and there was one employee and another Asian Indian older gentleman who was organizing the medication putting them in bottles for people picking up. Be aware of your surroundings at this location. There are homeless that sit right by the front door. One man followed me into the store. As I sped up, so did he. When I turned left so did he. I turned around and loudly said, "Why are you following me?!" At which time he stopped. I went to the cashier and told her he'd followed me in the store. She said nothing. I'd made eye contact with her upon entering and before I shouted at the man, but she acted like nothing had happened. Obviously she has no training in how to handle such a situation, but I needed to be sure someone else was aware of what was happening. You know why everything is moving to online when you come to the pharmacy. The line is 12 people deep and there is 1 pharmacist who is doing both the work of a cashier and a pharmacist filling drugs. There is 1 cashier at the front of the store and 1 lady walking around and when you ask the person walking around if someone else can help in pharmacy since the line is so long the response is "it's not my responsibility." I absolutely will be ordering my prescriptions from another store going forward. The 24 hour open is not worth it when you will be waiting 30+ minutes just to pick up your Rx. read more

We stopped in to CVS Pharmacy on Berryessa to do a return and to shop around the store. We found plenty of parking in the CVS parking lot especially near the gas station area. There was only one cashier and the return process was very slow. It took a 2nd person to help with the return, but we were able to complete the return. Then we shopped around the store and picked up a few holiday items. We found some holiday popcorn tins which were under $10 each. They had a few different designs. This time instead of waiting for the cashier, we used the self check out line. The self check out kiosk was pretty easy to use and I was able to pay with credit card. read more

Most of the CVS and Walgreen's around town are good. As far as prescriptions go they alert me for renewals etc. on my phone by text. I happen to use this CVS location for convenience. If you purchase other food items just be careful to make sure they are not stale or past the "use by" date. read more

I have no idea how this store is still in business. My review is based on multiple visits by me and family members. No shopping carts, shopping baskets are a rare find, only if you are lucky. Be ready to wait long time if you need help from an associate. Check out via kiosk - no shopping bags at any kiosk. Check out via associate - long lines and despite that some associates still chit-chat a lot with a customer who is checking out. Pharmacy - in most cases there is a line but pharmacists are helping as fast as they can, definitely doing their best, kuddos for that! Items availability - even if you check online for availability of what you are looking for, they still do not have it and cannot tell you if it is available in the nearest cvs. Overall, I will be going to the nearest Walgreens, not worth waisting time at this store. read more

Can't even get someone on the line anymore. They told me that my insurance wouldn't cover my prescription. When I called my insurance they said it's odd they would just say that without sending request to dr. All my dr needed to do was send prescription to my insurance. Lazy. And they are pretty slow. Just a note: Make sure to get your receipt even if it takes all day for them to get it especially for name brand items because you can't do any returns thereafter. They have a strict policy with their new management ~July 2022. Just be forewarned: As of late, this CVS seems to be understaffed as it does take some time to get any assistance, e.g. no one comes to the ring / paging button so I had to go to the front, only one cashier, the staff has to go to the back to re-print receipts, etc. Overall, alright if you're not in a hurry. read more

This is probably one of the better CVS Pharmacies. It's 24 hours, and it's clean (unlike Redwood City)! My pharmacist was a really nice guy, and of course he reminded me of my grandpa. It was actually really nice to get my medication refilled so late at night since I couldn't do it earlier during the day. By the time I got off, my home pharmacy in Cupertino had already closed. IMHO I haven't shopped this particular CVS in years but the CVS website said this store had a small supply of Hexol, which I couldn't find in my local store. I also had a 40% off coupon to redeem. Sure enough, I found two bottles of Hexol in stock. Yay! The cashier scanned my CVS Extra Care card which should immediately notify her that I have coupons or cash to redeem. She told me my purchase total (which didn't include my 40% off) and I had to ask her if I had any coupons available to me. She tapped her screen, said yes and asked if I wanted to use it. That's the only reason why I was there, to redeem my coupon. The cashier was very nice, but it shouldn't be my job to ask for my discount. With every customer, she should be asking if they had anything to redeem. 'Nuff said. If you shop CVS often, become a CVS Extra Care member. The coupons and Extra Care bucks that you earn for shopping are the only reason that I occasionally shop here. I loved this store when it was known as Longs. When they changed over to CVS, the prices seemed to be higher, and I only shop when I have a discount coupon, or if they have a product I can't find anywhere else. read more

This is the worst CVS pharmacy everrr, but it's the closest one and open 24/7. 1. The tech dropped the syringe for my kids' meds and gave it to me anyway. It was not in any packaging. 2. Saw the Rx manager yelling at an employee about the place being dirty/ a mess and to clean it up. It's almost always a mess. 3. There has been multiple instances where either they said insurance didn't cover it OR they had the wrong insurance information in their system (with previous Rx pick ups being fine).. making what should have been a 5-10 min stop because Rx was ready for pick up into a 30+ min errand. 4. Open, empty Rx bottles were in a box on the floor, exposed and open... Sterile? Idk. 5. Vaccines.. there were no signs, the Rx technician tells you to go to the drop off window. You wait there only for them to tell you to go around the corner. 6. Pharmacist giving vaccines was clearly not experienced at giving shots. 7. Sometimes rude, slow, gives wrong information, etc... It's a rare thing when an experience goes smoothly. I can't stand this place. I almost always deliver, but occasionally I have to go in, and we dread it. It's like going to Costco.. only when absolutely necessary. With that said, there are some nice, good staffers, and I *usually* try to have empathy as they are busy and a 24/7 pharmacy. read more

Typical bad CVS experience. Brought a friend here after urgent care referred us to a closed location. They insisted we could just show up at any CVS and they would transfer but we're too lazy to do the paperwork to make that happen. They also tried to refer us to a location that was also closed, insisted so even though the website said otherwise. We went here instead since it's 24/7. Like most CVS locations there was only a single person behind the counter who was handling everything. Insisted we needed to call the doctor to have them transfer the script instead of using their system to do it. The urgent care took 45 minutes and said they would call in. We continued waiting around the store while all that madness was happening. The person insisted the phone call that was waiting in the background on their system was probably not from the urgent care location and suggested we try calling again... so now we're in the parking lot, waiting _again_, trying to transfer the stupid prescription still. Every experience I have had with this chain at multiple locations has been terrible. Their systems are awful. Their pharmacists are overworked, the stores are constantly understaffed, and since they're basically a monopoly they don't need to care. Most of these places aren't open very late.
