I am writing this review as someone who has experience working in both a retail and hospital pharmacy. I usually go to Walgreens for my prescription, however, when I tried filling an antibiotic for my daughter the Walgreens pharmacist told me that my product was only available as a compound, it was too expensive, and he couldn't get it. He proceeded to tell me that in all of his years of practice he hasn't seen this medication in the specific concentration being ordered. I thought this was a bit weird since I didn't think this antibiotic was out of the norm. I get it though the demands of working at a retail pharmacy is extremely stressful and he might have been too busy to research this particular drug. I proceeded to yelp some local pharmacy and found Senter Pharmacy. Within minutes the pharmacist at this location told me he could get it and the out of pocket cost was less than $80 vs the $500 Walgreens quoted me. When it comes to your health and your kids I want to feel comfortable with who I am dealing with. As a health care professional I was extremely happy with the service, professionalism, and knowledge I received from this pharmacy. I'm not sure why this place doesn't have better reviews but consider trying them out or giving them another chance. read more

I recently had a confusing experience at Senter Pharmacy that I feel needs to be shared. I went in to purchase a skin ointment that was priced at $15, which seemed fait as it wasn' covered by my insurance but, when I returned the very next day as i forgot my wallet the day it was 15 to get the same product, I was shocked to find that the price had suddenly increased from 15 which was yesterday price and to today which is 25 price with no clear explanation. I decided to still buy the medication for my skin which was 25 but it was upsetting knowing they charged the price higher or didn't know the pricing of specific medication. read more

I've been to multiple pharmacies, and this place seems to have the fastest daily pickup. I was in urgent need of my dog's medicine, so I stopped by one afternoon on a Friday. It wasn't very busy--I dropped off the prescription, waited in the seating area, and my medication was ready in about 15 minutes. The staff was friendly, and I paid with cash, which turned out to be comparatively cheaper than other places. I highly recommend this place if you need a quick pickup. read more

The service is worse recently.... I came with my mom who is 70 yrs old. She needs to take vaccines and i dunt know which one she did or didnt so i have to come to store for thwm to check. They ask me wait 15- 20 mins. We know that u have to wait. Another ladies came after me. They did for her before me. I already told her and they said because she called before coming... ok . That s fine.... Another man take vacine before my mom too and they said he come before me. He just come after me , not before. They do their jobs not organized and not in order. Thats why they messed up. I have to wait 45 mins not 15-20 mins instead of. The young lady attitude was suck.... And i dont know who is the manager there. I know the old guys is manager but they point some strange guy and tell me thats is manager. Eventhough he is manager , sth was happening in store, he doesnt even care to say sorry. I would have given this place a zero star if I can. Senter Pharmacy is UNETHICAL. My dad has been a loyal customer for more than ten years filling his glucose test strips and lancets from this pharmacy. With the recent changes in Medicare, I had to help him switch to Walgreens Pharmacy to avoid the high co-pay. I discovered that the pharmacy substituted his glucose lancets with a generic brand (EZ Smart Blood Glucose Lancets Sterile Lancets) instead of the brand name (Freestyle Lite). I did a quick search on Amazon and discovered the generic brand costs $10 for 500 lancets versus the brand name costs $10 for $100 lancets. We will never come back to this pharmacy ever again. RUN and DON'T EVER come here!!! Who knows if they have been substituting other medications with generic brands without informing the patients and charging Medicare for the expensive brands. read more

The old lady at the counter is not seem qualified to consult with customers. My girlfriend needed over the counter cold medication and this Lady clearly misunderstood her symptoms and insisted that she get a flu shot. When my girlfriend said she just needed tylenol or advill, the Lady angrily told her that she did not konow what she wants. When we asked if someone else could help us, the Lady became more angry and BLAMED us for confusing her and started greeting the next customer much more polietly in vietnamese whilst totally ignoring us. My girlfriend was upset by th lady's comments a d attitude and has decided not to stopby this pharmacy again. The Lady was truly UNPROFESSIONAL BE WARNED donot take her advice. read more

I was looking for Promethazine MD - the Friendly Pharmacy doesn't have it and told me over cost of $7.35 - I came here and he told me over cost is $15.00 and he only has one bottle. I went to Rite Aid, all charged to Insurance card no cost to me. Rite Aid told me it is very common medicine here and have a lot So I save $15 and not recommenced to Senter Pharmacy should all go to Rite Aid ,,, unless otherwise,,,, read more

I have been going to this pharmacy with my grandparents for many years. All I can say is that the staff are super friendly and Kevin the Pharmacist is very charismatic. He always takes his time to educated the patients about the type of drugs that they are taking. You can tell that he is really passionate about what he does and he genuinely cares about the community. According to my grandparents, his Vietnamese has improved a lot over the years, they told me that he couldn't speak the language and now he's can speak it fluently. read more

I have been taking my grandma here for years to get her medication and always feel anxious before going in. My grandma has a high prenium healthcare plan that covers all of her medication with no fees. Yet on random days, they decide to try and charge us which leads to a long argument whoch ends in calling our insurance. On some days this pharmacy lett her pick up her medication without any problems, but on other days it is like fighting a war. For some reaaon, they do not let us pick up the medications. We have to call the doctor and they get in a super long argument before we can get our medicine. Make sure you check your prescription list after getting your medicine because they have forgotten one or two before. Asking the workers questions here is like trying to catch the wind. One time I took my grandma here to pick up her medication, they told me we had to pay again. Of course, this led to a long argument and I kept asking why do we have to pay and which medicine is it for. The lady wouldn't tell me even though I was speaking in clear Vietnamese. This time they gave us extra medicine and I had no idea why. She just kept saying to trust her and pay up. The situation only diffused when the head pharmacist stepped in. He went through the computers and told me I had to pay for my grandpa's medicine. It was close to his refill date, so they gave it to us early. Apparently, the lady forgot to mention it. All of the arguing could have been avoided so easily. The only reason I still take my grandma here is because she likes the head pharmacist and knew him when he first got out of school. Otherwise, I would recommend going elsewhere with your pharmacy needs. read more

My parents go to this pharmacy to pick up medications. The owner/pharmacist is there most of the time. He is funny and helpful. He could improve his Vietnamese. His English is good. Need to ask for consultation or sometimes they ignore it if it is a common customer. Go after 1 pm for fast service. It is usually busy in the morning. Ask for discount or not paying copay. Usually Vietnamese places do that. read more
