I stepped away from shopping here for a while after Target shifted away from its DEIA commitments, and that change in stance has stuck with me since. These days when I do go, I stick to drive up and pick up rather than walking the aisles -- it's quicker, and it keeps me from browsing into things I didn't come for in the first place. Shopping for items for a 2year old. I found several cute outfits. I also grabbed some Sesame Street toys that she's gonna love. I came here for no other reason than that I was bored, in an area I wasn't familiar with, and needed something to do. So of course since I saw the large target along the road, it was like I was pulled into here. This is part of a shopping complex, but set back from the other stores. It is kind of an island unto itself. Which is great if you come here just to visit Target, but not always the greatest thing if you wanted to stop at multiple establishments while out. Unless you are up for some walking. I was on vacation, and even though I was basically stopping here to have something to do, I ended up browsing around the store to grab a few things. Things that I needed, but wasn't necessarily out of. Kind of like a restock the cupboards run so I don't have to do it later. The store was nicely stocked, maybe it was because of my time of visit, which was early in the day. I was able to navigate around and leisurely browse. Why is it that every time I want to shop at Target Brandywine, their Starbucks isn't making hot/espresso drinks? Are the employees not trained? Lazy? Is this the McDonalds ice cream issue for Starbucks? The last three visits over the course of 4-6 months, these kids stand there with a stupid smile on their face and point to the sign. Safe and totally contactless. Curbside pick-up rocks!!! Black Friday sale on the 6 quart PowerXL grill air fryer combo. Placed my order via the app, waited for the ready to pick-up notification and I was on my way. Parked in one the assigned spots, notified the store (on the app) that I was outside and in less than a minute, a store representative appeared. She recorded the code on my phone from the closed window, placed the box in my trunk and off she went. Another kitchen appliance toy for me. read more

I've always had positive experiences at this Target. I mean the brand is Target, so you know you'll find (many) things you like :-) However, I want to shout out curbside pick up services. Super efficient! Everything from placing the order to notifying the team of your arrival to actual receipt of order has been great. I've ordered pantry items, including frozen dessert and was pleased with the temperature (i.e. no melting or otherwise thawing). I'm deducting a star because inventory doesn't always match what is available in the app. If you're looking for a contact less and safe way to shop, I recommend! read more

In July I purchased the ANKER lightning fast charger, and the Power Port III. I also purchased the two year warranty from Allstate. It is now September and the charger stopped working. I returned the merchandise back to Target and was told that the warranty had expired, but gave me a phone number to their customer service department. I called the service department and was informed that there was a two year warranty on the product, that I needed to call Allstate to get the problem resolved. I have called Allstate they sent me a link to email them. I am very frustrated with both Target and Allstate. I have been dealing with Target for years and have never had a problem with returns until now. I don't feel that I have been treated fairly and plan to write a review and send letters to the BBB, and consumers affairs. On the other hand I have had problems with Allstate before and probably won't get the problem resolved. All I really want it the product replaced. I found some good buys for winter clothing on the clearance rack. I also found some Bluetooth speakers on the clearance aisle for prizes at youth events. I was disappointed when I went to buy my popcorn tho. Unfortunately, that counter was closed until 1pm. Well, I really didn't need it. Next time. On 11/4/2024 my wife and I stopped at the Brandywine, MD Target to purchase some makeup. Before we went into the store I used my cell phone to check for a Veteran discount. The google search showed that Target was giving a 10% Veteran discount. My wife found several items which we took to a cashier. I showed my Maryland driver's license which had my Veteran status to the cashier, but he refused to give me the discount. I then asked to speak with the Manager, but this cashier said that they did not have a Store Manager. I even explained to several other Target employee's that my Maryland Driver's with Veteran status as a legal ID, but they did not care. They tried to tell me that you had to use a Target App to obtain the Veteran Discount and I told them that I don't use any App to make purchases. We finally purchased the makeup my wife wanted, but did not receive the Veteran Discount. It is obvious that Target does not support Veterans. read more

When I got to the store I was told my item was not in stock and had to wait for a refund for my money, just to take a look myself and seen multiple items of which I ordered in stock on the shelves,, so clearly nobody took a look to go and get my Coffee machine I ordered and only gave me the coffee maker Filters I also ordered, which is pointless without a coffee maker smh,, so after I find the item on the shelf as they said it was not in stock, I then had to purchase the item again,, then wait for my refund that's suppose to come a day later,, I will see if my refund comes on that day or not,, very Lazy Staff with poor customer service and All they had to do was go to the shelf and get my paid for item..thank god someone was with me to purchase the item Again in the store for me as I wait for my refund from my first purchase ,, I will then give them back that money,, all of this because of the sadly poor store reps,, working for nothing not doing there job. I had horrible experience with the staff over the phone. I called to see the wait time on my order for curbside pick up and the employee responded "do you have the app... okay bye" and hung the phone up on me. I was in disbelief. The store itself is great very clean but the customer service has definitely declined. I see no point in being rude to customers or speaking in a condescending manner. read more

My all time favourite target. I love just walking the aisles aimlessly and end up with a basket full of items or snacks I don't need. The employees are kind and most of the items in the beauty section are in competition with other stores. Love you target, never change. read more

I love this Target location , its clean the staff is helpful & very friendly. They also are considerate..i had a prescription in for a refill and the power went out during the submission process but the pharmacy called me to let me know what happened and that my prescription was gonna be delayed--how considerate! I live 5mins away so its always a pleasant trip when i pop in, whether its for a quick stop or a long to-do list. read more

I have been waiting for a prescription for over 2 weeks. I called the store today THREE times and have been on hold each time for more than 20 minutes. I tried calling the manager of the store and was reassured that if I called them as soon as I hung the phone with him that someone would answer. That was a joke, 20 minutes later I call the store back to again speak with a manager for assistance. After being on hold for 9 minutes I'm told that he was in a meeting and if I left a message he would return my call when he was free. I'm truly frustrated and call the corporate office for some assistance in this matter. I'm told by corporate that the pharmacies are CVS, they are a separate company and I would have to call their corporate office for any questions, concerns, or complaints. This is by far one of the worst experiences I've have had with any store. I would definitely give them a negative rating if the system would allow this. read more

I was here shopping the employees act like they don't won't to help you. They don't even speak or say can I help you find something. On top of that got a little hungry went to food bar. Well there is never anyway behind the food bar so I went to look for someone. I asked was it close she said no. I then asked for a cheese pizza she said oh I am out of it for today. This is the third time this has happened from this same employee. The first and second time it was earlier then it is now. Which now the time is 7:23pm and I don't get why she don't ever want to take the ten minutes to make the pizzas or breadsticks. I shop here often spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars. I'm start going to target in Va because they have better service. read more

Attempted to shop at my closest Target this week. Again, no working mobility scooters.

This really is the best Target ever, especially the pharmacy. First off, they are beyond courteous - Sharon and her brother (the pharmacist whose name escapes me right now), always remember my name and ask how I'm doing. If there is ever any problem with them not having the full amount of what I need or not being able to get what I need, they let me know immediately and do whatever they can to get it to me in short order. They also fill prescriptions for my dog as well (my dog is nuts and needs Prozac). They have a pharmacy rewards program so that you get a coupon for 5% off your next purchase for every 5 prescriptions you fill - I go through about 10 a month for me and my family, so we get rewards every month. You can combine those savings with your Target RedCard (debit) which gives 5% off everyday, so you can get 10% off easily everytime you go - and they accept all coupons from both the Target website as well as other manufacturer coupons. As for the rest of the store, they are always very well stocked with merchandise and I find the best stuff on markdown there, especially in the grocery section. The store is also very clean. The Starbucks baristas are very good and very generous with help, and the snack bar has fresh food the majority of the time. When your box store choices are the Waldorf Walmart and Target and this store, you will do yourself a disservice if you go anywhere BUT this store. read more

It's pretty much a Target store. Has a Starbucks and sells Pizza Hut personal pan pizzas. Which of course are the only reasons to visit Target, right? Really, not a bad store, usually well stocked. Help is relatively easy to find. Adequate parking, Costco (see my review) across the street, Safeway on the other side. Overall, a decent store. read more

After shopping at the Brandywine, Maryland Target location on 26 January 2018 at 5:30pm, I smelled freshly popped popcorn at the concession stand. So I went to the counter and no one was there. I waited about 5 minutes, two other customers wanted popcorn too. We went to customer service no one was there. We found the employee responsible for working the concession stand and she told us, " I am on break". We asked do you get off break soon? She said "No, I don't get off break for 30 minutes" It would not have taken three minutes to get 3 customers popcorn. Customer Service at the concession stand was lousy. Customer service at the rest of the store is ok. read more
