Was assured that all would be done as discussed. I waited months for my cushions to be made, and was so excited when I knew they were shipped. Well, bottom cushions are nit deep enough by several inches. We have to put a piece of a pool noodle behind each cushion to make it work and bottom cushions were supposed to be box cushions with piping and are not. I have contacted Diane and Mary and at first they seemed as if they would help me out then all correspondence stopped. So I am out well over $1000.00, with cushions that don't fit and am looking for someone locally to make new cushions! Order at your own risk.

It's a "shop" that does what it does: fix lamps. They appear to sell a few items. I stopped in, which is required since you can't call them or communicate in any way except in person, to get a lamp controller fixed. I needed a simple soldering. They got it done quickly and I was on my way. It worked immediately upon me checking when I got home. It was easy to park on the street and get this done. I love small stores like this that take care of things the old fashioned way. I realize that some reviewers want all sorts of communication options, but for a store trying to do business, running a non-profit help hotline is not really a viable approach. I wish you lazy people would stop trashing businesses because you don't get free help. And you can actually still get free help if you stop in, it's just that you are cheap AND lazy.

I sent an email, and that was also unanswered. When I visited the shop two months later, I learned that the lamp was still waiting for repair. The next day, I visited the shop and encountered the owner, who was arguing with and berating another customer. She told me she was aware of the email, acknowledged it was unprofessional, and that she had talked to the employee, her son, but she didn't apologize for it. He told us he'd have the plans written up by the following Monday. That was 5/6. We finally got the plans on the 5/17. They said they were booked out and the soonest we could schedule the install would be the end of July, that seemed like a really long time and we had to push back our floor install and painting so we wouldn't be too log without a kitchen. The first day of the install they sent out a crew of 4, they did a good job and moved quickly, so quickly in fact that the crew manager who dropped them Off and left half way through was late coming back to pick them up so they had to hang out on our front stoop for about an hour. The second day crew was 2 guys, they lost the door knobs to a cabinet and never replaced the so we have to now go back to Ikea and purchase 2 more knobs. They also told my husband they would put an elbow in vent above the stove to ensure it vented properly to the microwave, he agreed to pay an extra $40 for them to do that when they came back after the counters were installed. The third crew came back after the counters and immediately started arguing what they would and wouldn't reinstall, they called to say we never asked for the reinstall (which we had with Milos and the 2nd crew lead) a gentleman from Zee Dee called and to let me know they wouldn't be setting up our appliances and got annoyed with me when I started asking questions he started snapping at me and pushing me off the phone. I asked for his name and he hung up on me. When I called back or went straight to voicemail. His cell phone is (571) 332-1160. The 3rd install took 2 days after the 2nd day my husband called to say the tore the brand new vinyl flooring when they put in the stove, scratched the brand new sink faucet when installing, did not install the elbow for the joint and used about a roll of tape to attach it, it looks horrible! No one checked in with us after the job, I emailed Milos and still have no response, I emailed the general email account with no response so I am now posting on review sites hoping to get a call back, email whatever to get these things fixed! My husband and I are in the process of building a home in NC and that means that many decisions are being made remotely, long distance, and without being onsite. Shortages and delays are common place these days so it shouldn't have been a surprise when we needed to change our countertops from those we originally selected. Cord's Cabinetry carry the same brand countertops offered by our kitchen contractor in NC. I had to visit the Cord's showroom three times in the span of just a few days trying to select a quartz that was readily available ..... in NC! Maggie was there each time and always greeted me with a smile! I explained that I was there simply to look at their displays and that I would not be a customer so I didn't expect anything from them. I didn't want to take up their time, just take up a little space while I looked at their samples. Maggie smiled, nodded, and proceeded to help me find several options that looked nice with our cabinets. She extended this time and assistance THREE TIMES!! You see, after the first two visits whenI took a list back to my contractor in NC, I found out that those quartz products would not be available in time for us. Even when I walked through the door the third time, Maggie came out to greet me and continue to offer suggestions, pull samples, put samples away, help me with photographing options that we were interested in ..... Maggie was what all customer service should be!! If we were local and needed the services offered by Cord's Cabinetry .... I would have no hesitation in contracting them to work with us on our project. You shouldn't either!!

So before I begin, keep in mind that I gave this company several chances to make things right over…read morethe last 3 weeks before writing this. Today was the final straw. So here goes my experience: About a month ago, I went in person to Cord's Cabinetry and asked how much it would cost for measurements of my kitchen so that I could deliver them to my designer. I could have easily taken these myself but my designer said to have them professionally done so that the schematics would be correct with no room for error. So I gave my information to the front desk at Cord's Cabinetry to a lady named Karen who was very kind and accommodating. She said I would receive a call from Mr Cord and could plan a date and time from there. About 5 days later Mr Cord called me back and we set an appointment for a weekday morning before I had to be at work. He came in and did the measurements, I handed him $150 cash which I'm certain they did not report to the IRS as revenue as I did not receive a receipt, and then he left. About a week later, I received an email with an estimate and these pictures (and yes, they were sideways in the email just like they are here). I kindly replied via email saying: "Tue, Feb 15, 5:01 PM to karen Karen, I was hoping to get the measurements so that my designer can do her thing, then I can get back with the cabinets we end up going with etc. Regards, Aaron Krahling" She responded saying that they do not give out the measurements until you make a deposit on cabinets from them, basically extortion in the form of keeping my measurements in order to force me to pay a deposit on cabinets that I hadn't even had the chance to give the measurements to the designer for. This is when I started to get angry. I paid $150 for something that takes less than 10 minutes that I could have done myself and now they won't give me the schematics. I responded letting her know that I needed the measurements to give to my designer. They basically reiterated their statement saying that they would not release the measurements until I made a deposit on cabinets that once again, I had no way at all of knowing what I needed other than what they showed me in the sideways attached pictures. So now I'm pretty upset. I try one last email attempt and Karen responded saying that they do not give out the measurements because then someone could take them to another cabinet company and not use Cord's for the work. Mind blown at this point and at my boiling point, I responded again saying that I paid for measurements and would like them. They wouldn't give them to me and still have not to this day. They finally did give a design of what they could make the kitchen look like but will not release the schematics of the kitchen even though this is what I paid for. Maybe they do good work, I don't know, but this is wrong. When someone pays you for something, you give it to them, not try to hold it hostage to force them to buy more products. I mean, what if I was trying to plan this out for a year from now? The whole thing just doesn't and didn't make sense. Finally, I went back today in person to try to talk to them and they once again said that they do not give out the measurements and I should have told the guy measuring what I wanted if that was the case. I'm not sure what other reason I would ask for measurements for? At this point, I'm so pissed off that I raised my voice and they basically said to take them to small claims court, so I guess I'll have to waste a day of my valuable time just on the principle. I was very angry and I guess next time I see them will be in said small claims court for not providing the service that i paid for. So simple, so sad, STEER CLEAR!

This company essentially told our moving company that our claim was mostly fraudulent by denying our damages, which thankfully we were able to prove otherwise. Oh, and the table below that I previously said they "beautifully fixed" - yeah, so, after they fixed it (fixed in place, mind you), they rotated it (odd since it was fixed in place). I couldn't find the damage because it was now on the other side of the room. It was fixed just ok - we keep the spot covered. Original: Overall, we do not recommend, although some of their repair work was excellent (and some was pitiful). Their inspection capability was sub-par, and David's attitude was extremely pompous in person (and somewhat over email). Our move had massive amounts of damage, and we had photos of the storage units and moving trucks with our household goods horribly packed (heavy items shown crushing more delicate items below). However, David and crew determined those items had "pre-existing damage" (nevermind that we had before-move photos, pre-move inspection documentation, photos of the items being crushed during the move, testimony from the movers themselves that items were damaged during transit, etc.) David's attitude was so pompous during the whole process that he was not open to even consider being wrong (they even labeled glass items as "plastic"). It took about a year to rectify their poor inspection and settle with the moving company (which we ultimately did to our satisfaction once we were able to show that the inspection company did not correctly capture the damages). To their credit, they were responsive, beautifully fixed a horribly gouged table with sentimental value, and were willing to at least confirm what the moving company was telling us. Recommend they lose the attitude, treat customers with respect, consider all evidence, and learn a little bit more about item values and materials.

I needed something well-made and solid, but I couldn't pay hundreds of dollars for solid wood or go through the hassle of assembling with Ikea. On a whim, I drove out to Springfield in response to an ad they'd posted on Craiglist. This place is fantastic! It's full of QUALITY office furniture -- desks, bookcases, chairs, etc. -- in good, clean condition. (There was some dust here and there on a few pieces, but nothing you wouldn't expect. Plus everything is shined to a sparkly clean before it's delivered to you.) Everything is neatly organized, so it's easy to browse and find exactly what you need. I ended up getting not just the bookcase of my dreams, but also a Steelcase adjustable desk chair with lumbar support. Even better, the price I paid for these two pieces together was a mere fraction of what it would have cost me to buy either one of them brand new. Best of all, there was delivery right to my door for a modest fee. I highly encourage anyone looking to outfit a home or commercial office to stop into Celio to check out what they have to offer -- attentive but pressure-free service, a clean showroom, reasonable prices, affordable delivery, and quality pieces. P.S. It's a little confusing to find when you drive into the parking lot. You basically have to go all the way around the back of the building to find Suite B.

I…read morewas surprised to find that the Big Box office supply stores only sell very basic office chairs (with height and full-seat-tilt adjust only), and nothing like what you'd find in a real office for an employer that cares about employee comfort (with back height, back tilt, tilt lock-in-place, arm rest height and angle, etc adjustments). We decided to check out Celio, and found a great chair for $75 that was much better than what we'd get for $250+ at a Big Box office supply store. While we were there, we picked up a heavy-duty filing cabinet. Prices are incredibly reasonable, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Since this is used furniture, the stock changes rapidly, but there's a lot of REALLY high quality stuff here that's in excellent condition. I recommend it wholeheartedly.
