First off, it has something for every budget and size. There's a $10 rack AND couture items that can cost $400-$1k+. My regular shopping budget is closer to $100, and I've never left here empty handed. Today, I was on the hunt for "holiday cocktail" wear and found not only a festive, sparkly A-line skirt but also a beautiful DKNY cocktail dress just my size--and walked out having spent LESS than $115 total! The hardest part will be deciding which to wear to this weekend's party. What else sets Vida Style apart is that, unlike other neighborhood shops, there's PLENTY of inventory without sensory overload. Having worked in retail, I like seeing racks that are organized (size and color!) AND easy to peruse in a reasonable amount of time (I mean, if you have a street meter running, you don't want to be in there all day, right?). Upon entering the store, it could make almost any kid and kid-at-heart burst with excitement. There are aisles of unique, cool and quirky gadgets and gizmos a plenty. There are toys that are nostalgically vintage that you wouldn't find in regular stores; an aisle with buckets of candy where you can pick and choose individual pieces; and sales associates that are not only courteous and personable, but they are aquatinted with their regular patrons. Their parking lot pretty much reflects the size of the shopping center--smaller than average but never crowded or full.
