My experience with Regency Furniture Brandywine was one of the worst experiences ever! From delivering clearly damaged furniture on the first try and then having to wait over two and half months for them to reorder and deliver the furniture, while me and my family had to sit on the floor. And then to add insult to injury they kept charging my credit card again and again for a promotional fee that was never discussed or disclosed during the time of purchase. Staff was rude and dismissive when I contacted them numerous times in my attempt to find out when I would receive the furniture. It felt like they were doing me favor rather than being a valued customer. I strongly advise you all to stay away and save yourself the heartache. We purchased a Sealy king medium mattress on 1/19/25, it was delivered on 2/4 and within the next 3 weeks it began to sag noticeably on both sides. We called the store on 3/11 I sent pics of the mattress and they sent a tech to assess the situation, we had to call for the results of this visit 10 days later and we were told the sag was only 1.25" and it needed to be 2.25. My reply was we only had it 30 days and it was sagging that much already?! We were told we could exchange it for a 15% "restocking fee" and a $99 delivery fee, thats $354 to return/exchange an unsatisfactory or damaged product! You can not speak with a manager and the customer service person did not even bother to review the pictures or our situation, only repeating the 15% policy was the best they could do. I even explained I didn't want my money back, only exchange it for another model that doesn't sag. Unfortunately Im stuck with it as is unless I want to pay. This is a nasty foreign owned company that could care less about the Customer, that's on me for not researching but dont make the same mistake, STAY AWAY, go to a real customer friendly store. read more

Regency Furniture/Ashley Furniture - A CONTRACTOR DRILLED HOLES IN MY NEW WOOD FLOORS when putting together my daughters bed. I contacted Ashley Furniture of Frederick, MD upon discovering the floor damage and sent pics/video. The claims department of Regency Furniture (7900 Cedarville Rd, Brandywine, MD) is asking me to negotiate 50% of estimate. The contractor (DRIVER - BRAWAR15) denies he caused damage. The floor damage is $269 and they want me to pay half. Regency PLEASE take responsibility for your error and not place undo stress on me. I paid $545 for bed and delivery. Regency Furniture of Brandywine Maryland wants me to shell out more money to fix the damaged floor caused by their employer/contractor. Is this the service you give to customers? We purchased a dining room table and 6 chairs from Ashely, Capital Heights, MD. First we had an issue with the displayed prices. they were running a 50% off sale for Labor Day. We found a table and chairs we liked, then the manager indicated the 50% off is off of a higher retail price. First warning sign. He acted like he was doing us a favor and gave us 65% off of a way higher price but only if we bought the extended warranty for another $100. Still, an OK deal for us we bought. We were directed to the pickup warehouse 15 miles away and run by Regency Furniture. Also terrible service here. Waited a long time, over an hour, for our 3 boxes. They made us sign a receipt that said after you leave anything you find wrong is not their fault anything wrong after you leave the warehouse. We got the table home and assembled. 3 chairs had stripped nuts and bolts so there was no way to assemble them. The table also had a large gash in the top and a corner was broken off. We called both the store and the warehouse 7 times. each time they blamed the other. The store said there were no returns and call the warehouse to fix your problem. the warehouse has no one available to talk to and since we signed the receipt they could not help us. They both said we should have completely set up the table and chairs at the warehouse to ensure they were good. That would have taken 4 hours to set up and break down and repackage the table. The Ashely Funiture HomeStore Pledge is "Quality, Value, Selection, Customer Service" received on the receipt. We received none of those with this purchase. I have filed a complaint with BBB, and disputed the transactions with my credit card and the merchandise was non-functional. Around November of 2023, I noticed the couch when reclined all the way back, you are rolled to the right. So, I called Regency and they said to call their service department which I did. They sent a tech out, he said "yup, right side is 1/2" shorter than the left, you wouldn't notice it until the couch got broken in. It was most likely dropped from a truck on that side, to bend steel. He ordered parts, came back after xmas. The company only sent two parts. He orders the rest of the parts, they come in and he comes to house. The company didn't send screws. He leaves. He tries to order screws. They called me and told me to tell HIM to use the same screws. He comes back and puts new parts in but has to use decking screws because the old self tapping screws won't go back in! Couch is still no better on leaning to the right, and the lumbar is now making a cracking sound, so basically the couch is worse. It's taken 5 months to get parts put in the couch. Now Regency is saying "oh it's been over a year, so sorry go pound sand, we can't help you call warranty company". Call the warranty company, they say" we only work with electronical parts." We can fix the lumbar, but you have to get the frame problem fixed first. I have spent hours upon hours upon hours of calls and being shuffled around. I think it's intentional to make sure the year runs out. Drag it out so they do not have to do anything nor make it right. read more

I drove up to Regency Furniture very late on a Saturday night. Was immediately greeted by the sales associate named Will Holley. He was AMAZING. Wow....honestly the reason I walked out of there spending my hard earned dollars is because of his attention to detail, understanding and listening to what I required, and his ability to think on his feet and get me a living room sofa I so desperately needed. I walked out of there 110% satisfied with the purchase I have made. If you're wondering where to stop at when furnishing your new home/apt or studio, look no more! I was rooting for this business! I stopped in and had a great experience with my sales rep. This was a very special time for me since I was replacing my beloved bed of many years and looking to find the right bed. I visited many stores and decided to buy here. I emphasized to the rep the importance of an adjustable and massage base. The base I received is identical to the one I ordered but it doesn't massage. That was the main point of me buying it. I paid about $1k for a bed base that didn't arrive. I'm so distraught. The base was tested when the guys delivered it, but since it looked identical & adjusted I thought it was the same base. Warranty is questionable. The company they hire is called TriCity furniture repair. We met last summer to replace the cushion on my leather recliner which was off balance. The service man said it will take one month to order its replacement. Then I was notified the next month it would be a while. Six months later I received it (Jan '24). First repair guy came and said he needed 2 hours to do this job, he will be back next week. I was scheduled (!) for this Saturday 2/10, now they say that is not happening and can get me in by end of February. Oh hell no I'm not very happy about this and could "only" get next Thursday 2/15. WORST customer service experience EVER. I would give this place zero stars if I could. Placed an order back in September 2021, and now we're nearing January 2022! They've cancelled our order without notifying us, and we've been hung up on multiple times when trying to reach out for a status update. The only smidge of solace at this place is the general manager, Samir, who shares our frustration with the system. The front desk staff lounge around as if they're just there to collect paychecks. They do not go out of their way to help guests. If they do help, it's because they were forced to, and they do not hold back their disgust. These people are truly incompetent and do not know how to navigate their own computer systems. Because we've been hung up on, there's no way of getting the rude employee's name. Back in September, they told us November was the delivery date. We were patient and willing to wait. Come November, they said it looked more like December. Come December, our order was apparently cancelled without our knowledge and now they're telling us maybe Spring 2022. This is ridiculous! I find myself to be a very forgiving and patient person. This place is horrible!! The moment you walk in, you're attacked by about 10 sales representatives sitting by the front door. They're like wolfs ready chew on meat. The sales team will not leave you alone and follow you around the store!! The sales rep stayed back by 5 - 10 feet and was extremely weird. My family and I finally walked out because we were getting stalker vibes. The furniture we did see on the floor was very classless and low quality with very big price tags. If no stars was an option I would rate Regency Furniture in Brandywine Maryland a zero. Here's my discern with them. I ordered a $2,200 sectional that was on back order for three months. Here's the horror that took place: The right and left ends of the sectional didn't match, The middle pieces didn't connect together so the middle section was lopsided, the right, left, and middle section fabric on the sectional drooped. I contacted Regency Furniture and was informed the items was damage coming through my home front door, and that I signed a waiver that the furniture was to large to fit through my front door, and I waive my rights to hold Regency responsible for any damages. After pulling ALL my security camera footage and emailing it to the Customer Center Department showing the furniture fit through my front door with ease did they state "OH OUR BAD THE DELIVERY TEAM MADE A MISTAKE!" REALLYYYY!!!! They final agreed to replace the sectional but the redelivery sectional was worse. I refused the delivery, contacted customer service and was advised to go into the store because a re-selection of another sectional equal in price was approved for me. I didn't find anything to my liking / equal in price so I requested a "FULL REFUND". I then scheduled for Regency Furniture to come pick-up the damage sectional from my home Once the pick-up was verified the Customer Service Rep in the store issued me a refund of my monies, but the transaction kept showing "PENDING" After 5 business day of showing "PENDING" the refund dropped off and my monies wasn't refunded. I contacted my credit card company via telephone and email, had an investigation open to dispute this transaction since I no longer had the damage merchandise, and only then through my credit card company was I able to get my money back. Also, I had to even filed court charges against Regency Furniture Inc. of Brandywine in case my credit card company wasn't able to resolve this matter on my behalf. Regency Furniture of Brandywine even ignored the summons from the court. In summary I would NEVER purchase ANYTHING from them again, and I advise anyone considering making a major purchase to not go to Regency Furniture Inc. HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! read more

HORRIBLE. I wish there was a zero rating. Dealing with the Brandywine store has been less than acceptable. Ordered furniture in December 2021, paid in full, and still no furniture. Sadly, I haven't heard from my Regency Sales woman since the day I left the store. Yep, multiple delays yet she couldn't even pick up the phone to notify me of these delays (as she said she would). The front desk simply does not want to be there and are able to help anyone. If you ask for the manager they will not provide the managers name. In short, do not waste your time and go elsewhere (Regency owns Marlo and Ashley so stay away from those too). They want your money without providing the courtesy of treating you like an actual customer. read more

I ordered furniture back in August 2022. my ordered was delayed several months. I received emails in November that it was ready for pickup. I called the online regency number several times to confirm pick-up and was told just come pick up my furniture during business hours. I arrive February 4th to pick up my furniture only to be told by the warehouse I cannot because I financed over $3000 and the furniture has to be delivered. If this is the case why wasn't I told this months ago. Why hasn't anyone contacted me about delivery options. I hired movers that waited an hour and we drove an hour to get to the warehouse. So 3 hours of paid service and no furniture. This is horrible! This is not right! No manager available at the online number to escalate it. I'm being told they don't work on weekends and only emails were sent. The on-site manager at the warehouse in Brandywine refused to come speak with me. I am beyond upset. Obviously this is a miscommunication between Regency online and the Regency warehouse in Brandywine, MD. I really hope they make this right by me. 1. Delivering my furniture free of charge within the next day! Because I complied with the email to pick up my furniture. I was never told in any correspondence I could pick up my furniture due to my method of payment. All Regency's emails they sent to me has been added! read more

Also ordered a piece of furniture valued at $1000.00 February of 2021; it's June 2021! Four months later still getting the same ole don run around story. "It's on order a representative will contact you once we receive it in our warehouse". Deserves less than one star. Also I've been contacting the email that the representative provided and giving them the order number each time and they still say...once the merchandise arrives in our warehouse we will contact you. I checked in at 1pm the person printed out a paper and asked for my phone number. This was put on the same paper they would use to pull my table. I was told it would take 15-20 minutes. 45 minutes pass by and I go in and was told they are pulling it now and then they asked me to wait and that they would call me when it was ready. 2 HOURS go by and I went back in to cancel my order... All of a sudden it was there at the bay door. I WILL NEVER USE ASHLEY/REGENCY FURNITURE ever again. This was a horrible experience. Use your money elsewhere and don't waste it with them! Their response - We apologize for your experience and long wait time. Unfortunately, due to a staff shortage pick up wait times are taking longer than usual. We do appreciate your feedback though and will use this as a learning experience. That would be the case and poor excuse as they were fully staffed. People after me were getting their order right away. EVEN people that came 1 hour after me got theirs right away... Again AVOID THIS COMPANY! I was very unhappy with my purchase. I drove up to 3 hour to Regency Furniture store warehouse. First delivery i received for my furniture after one and half month and they told half of the furniture rescheduling because it was delayed in their ends. Initially my order was placed earlier in march 2024 and still waiting till last week (June, 21, 2024) when one of their sales associate (Angel White ) called and told one of your couch is out of stock and other one rescheduled in august 2024 and i ask the date she fail to provide me a date because she kept trying to Scams us . Now we are in a situation that half of our furniture has arrived we got matching end tables ,coffee table , Armless chair and server which is contrast for their out of stock furniture and we requested them to return or retrieve from our home and they keep forcing us to take another risk and look in to some other option from their store .
