I have some novel ideas you should implement immediately into your store employee's customer engagement protocols and policies! I also recommend you forward my suggestions to your CEO Mr. Brian Cornell! Your late founder Mr. George Draper Dayton must be doing "gymnastics" in his grave in the Minneapolis' Lakewood Cemetery, to see what has become of his company in 2026!! The reason I was so angry the evening I was shopping in your store was because, I have equity in your company! I am an active shareholder of Target corporation (TGT)! I own shares of your company in my investment portfolio! I came very close to sweeping my account at Fidelity Investments and liquidating my stake in Target! I pray the CBS TV show "Uncover Boss" sends an executive from your home office , to go uncover and see all the lazy, arrogant "driftwood" employees, that are destroying your brand and reputation! I would also like to say, the evening I was attempting to purchase only 2 items, your lazy African American employee had zero electronic guests/ customers at his register!! This is the second time he has done this to me! He made me wait 25 minutes, still no electronic guests/customers were attempting to make electronic purchases approached his register, while he wasted 25 minutes of my time! Apparently, he needs additional training and to be enrolled in some type of e-lesson regarding the fundamentals of customer service, work ethics and how your main retail protagonist Amazon.com is eager to take my money and business permanently away from your 1,989 brick and mortar stores! read more

Target in Fenway is great! I've been coming here for years and remember stopping by here almost every day when I went to school nearby. It's also walking distance (like 3 min walk) to Fenway Park! This is a 2 floor 160,000 sq ft Target, so it's bigger than the standard Target (~120,000 sq ft) & is definitely one of the larger urban Targets I've seen. You've got your essentials like bathroom necessities, skincare, women's clothing, home goods, Starbucks, eyewear, CVS pharmacy, etc on the first floor. On the second floor is where you can find more men's clothing, kids' clothing + toys, holiday decor + candy, alcohol/nonalcoholic beverages, & more. One cool thing that I love about this location is they have cart escalators! Similar to what you see at IKEAs, so great for back-to-school shopping or if you're buying big items! read more

This target is big . It has a large selection of different things . The aisles our spotless . Everything is really organized. The staff is attentive , helpful and informative. You get allot of value for your monies They have a paid parking lot it's discounted because you're shopping . It's a steal because you're in the middle of Boston . read more

Definitely showing the Boston sports love at this target! We love to see it. A revolving door and escalator upon arrival screams a city Target for sure. Also, I don't know the parking situation (I don't think there is one?). Seems like truly every person who goes here, walks. Now to the good stuff-- my visit to Target was bringing out all the stops! I was honestly motivated to shop til I dropped and decorate my apartment for Christmas after popping in and seeing all the good stuff they had! Also everything was fairly priced?? Another win! They even had stock of those trendy Christmas trees that's are all the rave with the snow on them with pretty colorful ornaments poking out. Lots of inspo, and lots of things I don't see at the Target near my apartment. The shelves were all fairly stocked too. The only downside is the line to checkout is a LINE. I'm talking at least 20 people in a straight line, interfering with a main aisle at this Target. If the checkout wasn't so bad, this would be a really solid Target! read more

Target is our go to store!! They have everything and it's great to have a Target in the city and not have to drive all the way to the burbs. Very convenient for all the students and professionals in the area too. They have a wide selection of clothing, electronics, home decor, toys, some furniture, bath, cosmetics and more. There is also an optometrist/optician and eye exam station right as you walk up to the store. They have a fairly decent grocery section too. We usually get salad bags which they have so much variety for - it's fun and we love trying all the different kinds- so convenient to eat more salad with the pre-chopped ingredients plus the nuts and dressing all in one bag Just mix and eat! We also get yogurts, bread, milk - all the staples. Sometimes pizza from the freezer section or frozen desserts. Good value on a lot of everyday items for everyone! read more

Without a doubt the worst customer service of any store we've ever been to. Given store leadership, you understand where it comes from and why the store is poorly run and unorganized. Good alternative for those who don't necessarily want to spend tons on merch from a game. Also make good souvenirs for tourists. My girlfriend is a Longwood-Fenway resident, and girlfriends love Target, so I'm here quite a bit. This target is very conveniently located on Brookline Ave, and with a myriad of departments, a Starbucks, and even a pharmacy! Very convenient for Simmons and Emmanuel students. I grew up on the Watertown location, so I hold it close to my heart, but I have to say Fenway is becoming a close second. The service here is prompt and shelves are always full. My one concern is that they don't have Fiji water :( bummer. Otherwise, I love it. read more

This just has to be the worst Target, but perhaps not. There is never ever more than a single to a maximum of two check outs open, no matter low long the line winds back into the store. The carriage escalator is "always" broken and on top of that, the food area prices are at least 15-20% more than Star Market, not Market Basket, $tar Market. I am now cured, when I depart downtown this week it is the last I'll ever visit a Target again, and good riddance! read more

I used to live at this Target when I was living in Brookline. It's so clean, lots of natural lighting, organized and always stocked with what I needed (and didn't need). I had to make a trek over here because what I wanted was only in stock at this location. The order was ready within 2 hrs but I ended up going 2 days later. Anyway, I got here and I reminisced by browsing through all the aisles before picking up my order and of course I got things that weren't needed (...yet). So here's why I'm writing my review today. I went over to customer service desk to pick up my order. On my way out I noticed part of my order was correct but the other was not. And thankfully I saw this before trekking back to the opposite side of the city. So I went back over to customer service and pointed out the mistake. Lianny assisted me and went to replace the incorrect items. She was gone for a long time - She was searching down the whole department and in the back. When she got back, she said they're actually out of the other item in the colour I wanted but was able to offer another option but it's just not what I wanted. It wasn't till after the second time she went for a 3rd option that I remembered to ask if we could just order the one I wanted online instead and have it shipped to me. Eureka it was an option that worked! And it's on its way here I wasn't impatient at any point but Lianny was so helpful during my visit and very apologetic about the how long it was taking to resolve the issue but I was grateful for the effort she put into helping me. read more

Team member was helpful in helping me locate the Viarae. It's not sold at all locations and only a few bottles were left on a side stand. Viarae is well worth the hype at $19 a bottle, $17 when you buy 3 or more! read more

Simultaneously, my frame broke and my optical provider went out of business without notifying me. I called 8 optical shops in my area -- 3 could not assist and 4 asked me to leave a message (no one returned my call). Final call was to Target on Boylston. Chris R was a life saver -- my glasses held on with tape. He popped the lens into a new frame in under 10 minutes. Chris was friendly, knowledgeable, skillful and professional. This Target is either a hit or a miss! Today, it was both. While it was fully stocked with all of the items I needed on my list and more, the customer service truly threw me for a loop. The checkout area is split into two lines: self checkout and full service lanes. Sometimes, I've been and it's literally only the self checkout. I chose self checkout and wish I didn't today. I had a virtual gift card that needed to be manually typed in & so I tried to wave for help to have an employee help. One employee took me to the regular gift card selection, which is not what I needed for this type, and then walked away. Another, from a far shook her head no and walked away! I was genuinely appalled. Thankfully, Lianny (I hope I am spelling her name right for proper recognition), came over from the customer service / returns area and was so kind. She explained to me that the one employee that told me no was off the clock and couldn't help, but that they should've made that known. After all of her help, she was so gracious to offer me a $10 gift card for my troubles. I am loyal to this Target & appreciate the pick me up from a sour taste at first! read more

Some things you can only get at a large department store and since there isn't a Walmart anywhere within reach of downtown Boston, I'm headed to Target. This one is conveniently located not too far from the Fenway MBTA station. It on three levels with an escalator for people and another parallel to it for shopping carts. Aside from the multi-level setup, it has all the usual goodies for a Target including men's and women's clothing, electronics, toys and games, personal care and cosmetics, sporting goods and a small automotive. There is also a decent grocery section, though it's not a full supermarket / SuperTarget setup. The store is clean and brightly lit and well stocked. Their free wifi works well. read more

You wanna go somewhere to get racially profiled? Well this is the place for you. Usually I have a great time at this Target, but after a recent incident- peace out. As my friends and I were leaving, our bags got searched but they turned my whole bag inside out. They claimed we bought "high priced" items but looked at our receipts and I bought 2 canned corns, a box of Clorox wipes, and shampoo. My friend bought 10 yogurts. The manager(?) proceeded to count every container of yogurt my friend had and then said that they check every customers bag when they leave. No one else was stopped who left after us...?? If I wanted to steal why would I steal two cans of corn that costs 89¢ for one? Lol read more

Why bother having a phone number or customer service desk if no one is there or answers the phone. Why are all the shelves empty? You order something and never hear about it. This store won't last much longer. read more

Not a bad Target. It's quite a bit store and I always find that it's well-stocked. The signs are clear and I'm usually able to find what I'm looking for without a problem. My issue with this store is the employees, who always seem to be in a bad mood when dealing with customers. When possible, I try to get what I need and just use self-checkout, since it seems like no one who works here wants to actually help customers. read more

Too many items locked up. I would rather shop elsewhere than awkwardly wait to see if an employee will come to unlock it for me. With no self-checkout, and too few cashiers, there are always long lines. Enjoy standing for 15 minutes just to buy one item? Come here! If not, don't waste your time. read more

Our 2nd visit within 12 hours for last minute new apartment move in needs. It seemed like Ms. Toni was our personal advisor & cashier, as I swear each time we needed assistance, she was there to help us. 1st, thanks to leaking water bottle, we created a small water pile. & I stood there directing traffic until I was able to get one of the employees attention...I got the Manager's. He was so was nice about the spill, had one his employees get the spill agent to soak up the water before they swept it up. After that, we spent a good hour going back & forth to various departments until my Daughter was content. The store seems to way bigger than the ones in Rockville/Wheaton, but hey, different state, different location...yet outstanding customer service from every employee I crossed paths with. Everyone was very friendly & helpful. There were even 2 employees singing a catch tune while they were stocking the Probiotic Drinks. One stopped, then the other one stopped & asked if I needed assistance..."Nope, I'm good, keep singing" I said with a slight chuckle. The store was in immaculate order, had departments I haven't seen before such as RayBan eyewear & the produce section seemed to be constantly organized. When it was time to check out, there were a few heavy lines, yet Toni gave us a wave & she was kind enough to check us out. After 5 minutes of trying determine if my Daughter was going to use her Target Card, Bank Card or cash, Ms. Toni was a trooper in being patient...to say the least as I was getting inpatient LOL. I did notice on the receipt if you spend over $30, you get 1 hour free of parking...times like that, I'm glad a train rider, regardless of what city I'm in. Overall, a great shopping experience for my Daughter & I, so no complaints. Well perhaps the decision to walk back to campus oppose to Ubering, as it started to rain & flurry again. At least we had a few big bags of Tar-Jay goodies to utilize when we got home. read more

Oh Fenway, why did you have to wait until after I graduated to build this Target? It would have been amazing to have this within walking distance as a college student. This is by far the biggest Target I've been to. As such there is a much larger selection of clothing, cosmetics, and groceries compared to other stores. And it's the first Target I've seen with an optometry section. I haven't noticed the prices being much higher here compared to other Targets. However, this being in Boston, it wouldn't surprise me if that was the case. Self-checkout is available which is always a plus. Of course if you're buying alcohol you can't use the self-checkout, so there's a few designated registers for alcohol purchases. If you're driving there is a parking garage available and you can validate your parking there. You have to make a purchase at Target and you'll get a receipt which you can scan when you pay for parking. You get a discounted rate for the first two hours and then the regular parking rate after that. read more

This Target is huge! I don't know why they consider it to be a city Target. It's more like a regular large Target. The floor is maintained pretty well with shelves stocked and floors cleaned. There are both self and service check out stands. There is an optometry and pharmacy inside. Plus Starbucks for all your caffeine needs. read more

The worst Target I know. Crazy markups compared to all other Targets. Terrible, rude customer service, physically blocking off paths with products, and locks up a huge number of products while totally ignoring requests to access those products. Usually good selection. Beware if you have kids or family with respiratory issues. DEADLY products. WALMART is more conscious and that says it all. Bet Corporate Target doesn't give a hoot. Their rugs out gas for 3 plus weeks and stink. Do not buy their cheap (moderately prices) throws. Avoid thes 15-20 dollars rugs - they stink and their out gassing continues after I sprayed it out it outside in the rain they still stink. Sadly, Walmart used a better 3rd world vendor. This is a great Target in the Fenway area. It is like all of their targets but it's on 3 different floors on the top floor it is basically groceries and the other two are apparel. It's a really good place for visitors and residents. They also have a nice lunch area on the first floor if you happen to work close by and a Starbucks and if you sit there you bhave a pretty good view of Boylston Street. I really like it I think it's a good and classy version of Target suited for this area. read more

This Target has limited inventory compared to others. However, the killer is that it's on two floors, and the escalators are frequently out of order. That would be fine if there were stairs, but there aren't. There's only two small elevators. read more

Stopped by the Fenway Boston Target today only to be told by a Target employee that the plus size section no longer exists in the store!! Is this all Targets, some Targets, if it's some Targets how do they define what stores do not have plus size shoppers??? So I came in this morning to buy some beer but this store had way too many people in it. For what? Apparently Vineyard Vines is selling a very cheap version of their clothing at Target to poor people that normally cannot afford the formally prestigious brand. I actually used to wear it until I found out that Target was selling it. I took one look and feel of the fabric and it seemed to be a very cheap cotton blend that pales in comparison with the apparel you would find at the Vineyard Vines at the Prudential Center or the Chestnut Hill Mall. Now I am not sure why Vineyard Vines is doing a collaboration with Target, but I feel like they are truly ruining the brand for the people who actually paid money for the quality and prestige they used to offer. I feel like the fabric I see at Zara and H&M (which is already of very poor quality) exceeds that of this new Target Vineyard Vines brand. It is very disrespectful to its soon to be former customers. Anyways, checkout took about 30 minutes longer than it should have and I am now happily drinking my summer ale. read more

Pretty good target, two floors and offers a lot of items. Often packed with students from the nearby schools and can go run out of stuff quickly especially during the back to school months. Good alcohol section, and they have a public bathroom. read more

This Target is the worst! Customer service is bad. I came to the guy to ask where I can find some stuff, and he just gave me a look that kind of should not ask him! As well as, if you have a car, that will be a mission to park your car over there. This Target does not have a parking lot, you have to drive around and search for a place! It takes a lot of time! This is my first time here. And i looking for my microwave. And i saw one lady who was there far away she was busy doing her stocking. And I asked her for help. She really nice even they don't have a code on the item but she still try to help me find and finally i got my microwave that i need !!! She super nice. After i got it I walked away . But she still make sure that i still need any help? Let her know if she can help. So but turn back and asked her if that possible can I take her a picture ? Recently came into town and stayed near Fenway - this location is pretty much across the street from Residence Inn and behind Sweetgreen location on Brookline. This Target is a wonderful idea for the area. It has everything a "regular" Target has including Grocery, Liquor/Wine and a Starbucks location. Location appears to be super clean and staffed well. Lines went fast and smoothly. They have elevators and escalators for you and your cart to easily move about floors. Prices don't appear aggressively inflated either which was nice to see. I didn't drive to location, so I can't speak much regarding parking. read more

The prices at this Target are much higher than in other locations and on the website. since I work in Fenway area, I used to go to this location a lot but then I realized that almost all the items are 1-2 dollars higher than others AND in general in recent years the prices at target have gone up dramatically!! Especially the beauty items are much more expensive than Amazon or Walmart. Today I picked 2 Sally Hansen nail polishes which were marked as 4.99 and when I went to the self-checkout and scanned them, one was 7.88 and the other was 8.5!!!! I couldn't believe that. I tried to find someone to ask them for the reason and everybody working there is very unfriendly and unhelpful. I have never had a productive or pleasant interaction with their customer service. I try to avoid going to this target but sometimes I have to! the 2 star is just for the location! read more

Store selection is fine. Customer service is nonexistent. I Purchased a shirt recently that was on clearance. I returned the next day after realizing that the shirt did not fit. The gentleman at Customer Service claimed that the item showed that it was no longer in circulation. I asked him how a shirt that is no longer in circulation could be sold and he would not allow me to return the said item. When I asked to speak to his manager he became increasingly agitated. They would offer no other avenue for me to return the item. He stated, 'do you want me to call a manager to tell you the same thing that I just said' I will never shop here again. In fact I don't think I will ever patronize any additional Targets based on the behavior that I witnessed here. I'd rather spend my hard earned dollars elsewhere. I've shopped at target for many years and have been a card bearing member for a long time. This experience has made me reconsider my relationship with the brand. If I wanted to deal with rude and unhelpful I'd go to Walmart and maybe I should. read more
