The manager on Dec. 13, 2023 told me I could put the items on…read moremy TJ Maxx credit card to get the points, using just my receipt and the credit card I used and my TJ Maxx credit card.  The cashier on Dec. 13, 2023 then told me the manager's name. I wrote it on the receipt. I came on Dec. 26, 2023 with the receipt and both cards. I stood in a line for 40 minutes. Two separate managers told me "if you don't have the items, you can't switch to another form of payment" and "we don't have a manager by that name." I even told them I couldn't get here sooner before I gave the gift because I was accompanying my wife who was in the hospital for weeks on end. They said, "That's our policy." Every other store just asks for your social security number if you don't have your card and this allows you to make a purchase with your store credit card.  I strongly recommend not shopping at TJ Maxx on Middlesex Avenue in Somerville.

I went in wanting to buy some designer glasses and another customer was already running around the store trying to get someone to open the cases to try on some glasses. Once she found help for us, I asked if I could try a couple on too. I was told by the sales associate that only one person at a time can be helped. Fine. I waited for another 10 minutes for the other client to choose which glasses she would buy. The sales associate then told me she had to go help them at the register and needed to find the cases for the glasses too. Another 15 minutes went by. At that point I just left. They're clearly not interested in making a sale. Such a shame because before this lock up situation, I used to buy all my glasses from this location. Looks like I'll need to find another store.

This was my first time to Saks off fifth and I was very surprised on the pricing for the designer brands. I think I bought around 15 things which is something that I never do. I still have clothes that I wear from high school and college!!!?? The staff was very friendly and courteous, and answered plenty of questions. The one thing I did not like about the store I wish it could have been better. It was that they had more staff and more available dressing rooms. But overall, my experience was very good and despite the , small amount of staff because no one was coming to work according to the folks working there. My experience was really good. I will be back, but on a Sunday instead of a Saturday when I know there will be less people shopping. I also found a brand new favorite clothing company that I had never been aware of named Tailor Byrd. Their clothes are amazing and they fit very well. So I will admit that they have a fan in me going forward for semi casual wear, three button polo, shirts, and shorts that can be worn on the golf course or in a semi casual setting.

Went here emergency dress shopping 2 days before my birthday after having decided to have a theme party at the last minute and ordered some dresses online but not being sure if/how anything would fit, so wanted to have a backup just in case. We got there around 8:15 and they close at 9 so it was seriously a mad rush! I had to deploy the hubs to divide and conquer and browse the racks - which I have to say they definitely had a LOT of dresses, so no lack of choices! We both searched and picked up a few dresses. I tried them all on and finally selected the one dress which turns out the hubs had picked out - great find!! We were the last to checkout. They almost took all my stuff out of the dressing room while I was showing my dress to the hubs outside. I had to rescue all the clothes - whew! Anyway I got a fantastic deal - so pleased, fit me perfectly and I wore it for my birthday and got lots of compliments! Service was good. I used a store gift card and I still had money left to spare on it! We parked in a garage nearby using SpotHero., wasn't too expensive. Easy walk. Then those boys ran past and up the escalators and I told another employee who might have been Latina Told her to call SECURITY and she said that's not my department and laughed.! Frustrated with the lack of respect for MACYS I WENT UPSTAIRS AND ASKED FOR A MANAGER...I was directed to one in the Shoe Dept walking named REBECCA WHOM I EXPLAINED WHAT I NOTICED! She was sympathetic and said she will handle it. She asked me for my number if I wanted a follow up and gave it to her! I said if it was up to me those two uncaring employees should be FIRED! They just lacked the loyalty MACYS DESERVE! I hope that MANAGER REBECCA DOES THE PROPER OUTCOME! She was very concerned and understanding of my complaint! There's a few parks, areas where people live with loft style and regular style apartments. The selection and the variety of things to do are unmatched and you could definitely come here if you want to have a low-key night out! It doesn't really get crowded, and it's not very loud. We enjoyed strolling leisurely with our little dog as well as sun and conversation on various comfortable outside patios with treats in hand. Parking isn't always easy, but we were lucky and grabbed a spot. Free 3 hour parking is offered at the parking garages. Also noticed that Assembly Row is located near the "T" and that the Orange line stops near. Very convenient! Nice place to visit and enjoy some time.
