I have paid off this credit card twice and it still is somehow accruing a balance!!! If you have a TJMaxx card I warn you to look for continual charges, even after you have paid off your entire balance TWICE IN A ROW!!!! Just got hit with a $2 balance!!! If I didn't look at my online statement I would have never known that there was yet another balance after being told it would be paid completely with the last bill!!!! Excellent TJM, and while I have been in the Marshalls (across the parking lot) several times, I never came in until a few weeks ago. This is a nice, well-lit and well-stocked large store and I was excited to see a large selection of Australian Gold products for summer!! I didn't look for any clothing, but the racks all seemed full and organized; no hangers hanging out or clothes on the floor. I'm not having any luck with finding a pair of sunglasses this year (???), I have looked in several TJ's and Marshalls without any luck, but the entire accessories department was nice and the home goods section has a nice blanket which I picked up on sale. I now know to park in the middle of the lot so I can go to both TJ's and Marshall's!! read more

Do Not Shop online at the Farmington, Massachusetts Tj.Maxx, they will get your card number and charge you as many times as they can! This just happened to me trying to buy my kids school clothes, now I don't have any money to buy their school supplies, bc they kept making unauthorized charges on my card until it put me n the negative!! Store itself can have good items / but some of the staff are terrible. Avoid a manager there named Allison - terribly angry, unhelpful and nasty thing. I hope corporate reads these and has a conversation with her to pretend to be friendly to the people paying her salary. read more

"Get the max for the minimum" I love TJ Maxx because they have the best stuff for very resonable prices. I stopped in here prior to my vaca to south beach and brought-sun hats, a hot pink and white tote(that EVERYONE loves), bathing suit coverups, and cute jewelry for sunbathing on the beach. All under $100!! SCORE! Sometimes I find that the merchandise is a hit or miss. This location kicks butt because across the parking lot is a Nordstrom Rack and Marshalls. read more

Since when do customers have to pay for a bag to put their purchases in? I couldn't believe the cashier asked me if I wanted to buy a bag for 10 cents to put my items in. Then asked if I wanted to make a donation for charity. It's one thing to help the needy, but to pay for a bag to put my items in, when I'm already paying enough for the merchandise, is a bit much. read more

I usually love TJMaxx, but I have to agree with the other reviewers- the staff here are incredibly rude. I came to return a suitcase I purchased 2 months ago and have used only 2 times. The suitcase broke after two trips- as in it completely fell apart. The front is chipped, a wheel fell off, another seam on the suitcase is busted. It was totally unusable. I've been traveling for over 20 years and I have literally never had a piece of luggage disintegrate as this one did. The manager on duty, Andrea, tried to tell me that the suitcase was damaged due to airline mishandling and that I just didn't want to deal with the "red tape" of going to the airline directly. In theory, everything is possible, but it's highly unlikely that this is due to airline mishandling. I have another suitcase that I purchased from TJMaxx that I've had for over 2 years, and have used on the same flights as the broken suitcase. There's never been an issue with that first TJMaxx suitcase, or with any other suitcase I've owned- this was an extremely unique and disappointing situation. Andrea appeared polite and helpful, but only because I had reached out to the store I originally purchased the suitcase from in Denver. The Denver store called ahead to let this store know what was going on before I came in (thank you TJMaxx, Denver, you're amazing). After I was allowed to return the suitcase, with the implication that I shouldn't be allowed to, I wandered through the store, browsing. I was over in the shoe section and heard Andrea and colleagues gossiping about the suitcase and me in the "employees only" backroom. I understand that employees in retail environments often complain about customers and gossip, but it doesn't change the fact that it's rude and unprofessional. At the end of the day, the way you conduct yourself as an employee has an immediate effect on the image of the business you work for. When you gossip and make assumptions, you lose business and respect. Having worked in customer service, I can say that customers have the right to return products that are defective and in this case quite frankly cheap and of poor quality- it's a hallmark of good service and good business relations. I expect a suitcase valued at $150 to last longer than 2 trips and 2 months- that's a reasonable expectation and should be honored professionally. The interesting thing is, I'm sure that if any of these employees were in a similar situation, they would want to be treated with respect while being given the opportunity to return a poorly designed, malfunctioning product. This is one good TJ Maxx....ironically.... it's right across from an even better Marshalls... winning streak or more? I'm guessing, since the TJX Corporate is in Framingham (on Cochituate Road), they favor the Framingham stores with better stock. Maybe just an assumption but throughout my visits to both the Marshalls, and now here, it seems a reality. With that said, it's not something I am entirely opposed to. Having a store with a guaranteed stock of awesome stuff at awesome prices is a place I will continue to put on my "to-go-to" list. With that said, even this location doesn't compare to the Newton one which is by far the best. Between the staff and the variety of this place, this is one of the better TJ Maxx locations in the area. It's quite large, and being in Framingham, it has quite a variety of everything, lots of high-end items and at the same time, lots of regular low-end products (while in comparison, the Sudbury location is much more geared towards high-end items). The store is busy, however they keep many checkout lines open so the wait time is minimal. Parking can be tough on weekends, but I typically just park in one spot and walk everywhere I need to in the complex in a specific order. The best thing is that it's easy to find the most merchandise because there is a Marshalls across the parking lot and a HomeGoods right up the street, so, for me at least, striking out completely has never actually happened. Staff are generally very friendly and helpful and typically around if you need direction. Fitting rooms very clean and not typically a line. Store can be pretty busy frequently, but never busy enough for this place to be an actual inconvenience. Not the best location, but one of the better. 4 stars for the Framingham TJ Maxx. read more

This store has some great deals, but the employees are rude as hell. I was browsing the gifts section (the section with the "as seen on tv" items, iphone cases, athletic gear, etc) and there was an employee stocking shelves there. I picked up a laptop set (it was a set containing a small mouse, a usb hub, and a usb cable) and flipped the window up (you know, those packages that have a flip up section and a window so you can see what's in it). Well, the employee told me not to open the boxes. Well, the box WASN'T open you idiot. The box was designed that way so you can see what is inside and look at the product before you buy it. I see what appeared to be her supervisor approaching and told him what happened. He ignored me and proceeded to ask the employee what she wanted for dinner. Completely unacceptable. If I could give this store 10 stars I would. I was in there on a busy Friday evening. I spent at least 45 minutes in the store. When I went to the register to pay for my purchases I realized I lost me wallet. Within seconds the store manager had alerted the entire staff to search for it! Who does that? I am familiar with this plaza and have shopped in it many times in the past couple years. I have never cared for TJ Maxx, but friends have suggested I try it out since this one is pretty good at Shopper's World. Every single time I have come here, I have not had any luck buying anything really, and this most recent visit is exceptionally awful. I bought a phone case at the nearby Marshall's and realized I wasn't crazy about it. I wanted to swing by TJ Maxx to browse and hoping to return the case (as I have before in the past, as they're sister companies and have always been able to exchange no problem). Waited in line for 20 minutes just to be greeted by the same awful woman I have been greeted by before. She is so rude. She looks at me like I am completely stupid, arguing that people were never able to exchange between stores. I respect customer service reps, so I politely told her I have before and asked why. Again, giving me an attitude, told me to leave and go to Marshall's. The cherry? She told me not to be lazy. Moral of the story: do not go here. They have limited product variations for men to start, and the reps can be quite unpleasant. read more

This tj max has a great selection of everything which is why I'm always here but that's not what this review is about.. it's about the customer service I received today and I'm hoping a manager sees this and talks to their staff about it! I left some items in my cart when I went into the dressing room and as I walked in there was an employee complaining about the number of carts near the dressing room, when I came out my cart and all of my stuff was gone! So at this point I'm annoyed and ask for them to find it, after waiting a while I decided to just go to the checkout because I'm extremely annoyed at this point and I'm trying to keep my cool. When I get to the check out the same lady that was supposedly "helping" me was up at the register talking shit about me! And I overheard it all!! read more

Have been going to this TJ Maxx for a while now, though you can definitely get solid deals on everyday clothes, etc., the Runway section used to be much better a few years back. About 3 years ago I saw a nice black and purple Celine cabas tote for about $800 and a few good Fendi bags here - prices obviously still high but nowadays I feel the Runway items are not as nice (read: rejects) and even pricier (handbag selection particularly). Out of all the TJ Maxx's in the Boston/suburb area I'd say this is still the best most of the time (excluding those one-off items you find in some random small TJ Maxx that clearly was a return bought at a different location). Very small homegoods selection, better to go to the very big TJ Maxx homegoods across Cochituate Rd near Target but note for some unknown reason you can't return homegoods bought at the TJ Maxx Homegoods store at TJ Maxx. read more

I love TJ Maxx I can always find what I want at this store, today I went in and found a shirt at this location. I was quite confused with the price because there were 10 other shirts that looked exactly like the one I had picked up from the t stand. I went to ring out and asked the cashier to check the price for me. She had said it's 19.99 and not 12.99. I told her there's a sign that says it's 12.99.. She said they were prob put in the wrong spot. I said oh well there's 10 other shirts that look like that on that rack.. She turned to her manager to ask something. She had said no one changed the price. I told her can you honor the price because it's their mistake? She said no I can't. I left the shirt and left. I thought the customer service here was terrible and unfair. As an experience retail manager worker, I always honor prices for customers whenever I'm wrong. I have been to this location for many years and although I love this store they always seem to have the same old shirts on their selling racks. You would think that if they haven't sold them in a few months that they would be moved to the clearance rack but nope still at the same prices for weeks on end. Also do they even hire new Sales Associates? I have seen the same people there for 20 years..especially in Jewelry. So if you are looking for a job this is not the place to try and get one. You would think they would give new people a chance. Also their jewelry is becoming mostly junk now. They used to have gorgeous pieces and now it is mostly Michael Kors, Crislu that is not good quality, mostly costume jewelry now! They really do not get a nice new supply of it for special occasions like Mothers Day anymore,,barely nothing in the cases and the boxed jewelry is getting awful. I will not shop at T.J Maxx online or in there stores anymore, and if you need to return somethingmake sure that you just return it to the store and don't use Pal Pal. They have a horrible return policy and find ways to keep your money. I returned some merchandise I bought online do to damage on the bag. I I received a refund short of the amount that I should have received so I called to find out why and was told that I didn't fill out the return form correctly and that she would process it for a return and I should receive my additional monies in 3-5 business days. Well 2 weeks later I was still waiting so I called to get a another young lady that told me the same thing over again, well 1 week and half later still no refund, so I called again, to find out that they would not process out my refund because they didn't see the damage, after almost 2 week of waiting for the initial refund.
