Target is one of the places you go regardless if you have a list of things you need or not. More often than not, you're probably walking out with something you just bought (even if you didn't originally plan on getting anything lol). Target in general a classic place to just walk around and browse. It basically has it all - home finds, clothing, toys, groceries, makeup, everyday essentials, the list goes on. I usually go to the Target in Watertown but whenever I'm in the area I'll come here. The two locations are similar: huge, has tons of parking, and items are generally pretty well-stocked. read more

If possible, consider shopping at another Target location . The manager at this store (Framingham, MA)--at least on Saturday evenings, Liz, is ineffective and does not address the issues within the store. The store is disorganized, with items misplaced, overflowing garbage outside, and carts left scattered instead of being returned. It's clear that the employees are not properly trained in customer service, as they come across as rude and unprofessional. I love Target. Due to having young kids in diapers, I shop here very often as they have a great balance of quality and price in their baby supplies. I've also recently discovered how great their Good and Gather brand is for food. They have many wonderful products under this label that I've never found elsewhere, such as dark chocolate almond butter, reduced sugar hazelnut spread (basically slightly less sweet Nutella), and dark chocolate cashew butter granola. read more

I have no idea what is even happening with this location. It is always messy, and the focal point seems to be the NEW Ulta beauty now. It is a freakin eyesore. It took up a whole lotta real estate as well. I hate it. They have rearranged everything recently which I am okay with but now I have to basically go to my favorite aisles way in the back corners just to find them horribly shrunken. The Halloween display for 2023 (oof ;-/) seems to lack luster. There is always one person only working in that section and the area looks like a "Discounted" aisle instead. It is filled with random items dumped on shelves. Mixing football chips and dips with Halloween decor and Christmas lights. Randomness. The Halloween display still as of 10/5/23 have boxes that either need to be opened and put on shelves or disposed. There is sadly no "Real" Halloween display either. It is just sad to look at. Why? I love Target, but have felt kind of "so-so" about this one after a few visits when I have been out in the 'burbs. On the plus side, there is a lot of parking (we city dwellers LOVE parking!) but the store has been in some sort of disarray each time. I can't knock them too much for yesterday because it is the week before Christmas, BUT when there is a serious amount of stocking going on at 11am, it is frustrating to have massive carts and store staff blocking the aisles. I went all the way to the back in search of the elusive Mini M&M's which are out this time of year (and just like Santa, not always easy to find). I found two tubes mixed in with ornaments (??), but grabbed them since I didn't see them with all of the other candy. I didn't bother looking at the leggings/other workout clothes since the prices have been cheaper online lately (for shipping or if you pickup in the store), and the last time I was here that area looked as though a hurricane had blown through. Watertown is my usual store, so if you are in the area try that one (or just have a lot of patience before heading into this one)! read more

A woman in this store truly needs to get more customer service training! My young toddler had pneumonia; she just recovered but still had some cough left. Since she doesn't know how to spit out the mucus, she sometimes would have a throw up. She accidentally threw up in Target before I could get her anywhere. I already felt terribly sorry. This woman saw it and gave me a face, told me in a cold tone "you should take her to the bathroom!" I was like I would of course take her there if I could do it in time!!! Went to pick up a drive up order. several cars waiting but noticed only 1-2 workers over a period of 15 minutes and they only serviced 5 cars. Then 1 car drives up talks to one of the drive up workers and gets her order right away after several of us had already waited 5-15 minutes. Several of us complained and then got our orders. The store needs a better system for handling orders and it also needs to hire more staff. This is the second time i have had problems with order pickup. Given the amount of business that is done with drive up pick up you would think there would be a better system in place. read more

The store is always out of stock on things and I tried to return an item due to quality concern and I rarely return things and they were purposefully very rude to me about it! I told them it was a used item and it was a quality concern because the zipper and lining came apart after I used it once or twice. I spoke to customer service on the phone and they told me to return in the store but I wish I never went there, they could have just said you'll need to call CS to handle it. They said to me "so you bought it with these stains on it" and started pointing out the stains while both bags had zippers falling apart. One bag was white and the other was pink and everything stain showed on it. I never claimed they were never used. It was humiliating and uncomfortable. Target needs to monitor their parking lot for safety. My wife won't shop at the Framinghan store any more because she doesn't feel safe in the parking lot. She has been approached by strangers/beggars in the lot in broad daylight. We tried to call the store but no one answers the phone even on the customer relations line. Worst service out of any Target I've visited hands down thanks to this one individual at the service center. When I arrived he rushed me to insert my Target RedCard immediately. I hesitated and told him, "Hold on, I need to get the correct receipt because I ordered multiples of these and there's a price difference..." The entire time he continued to talk over me and dart his eyes around the room to move onto the next patrons. Just as I feared, he processed the return for the 2 items I purchased on the most recent order INSTEAD of the other receipts I attempted to pull up. He processed the return for much lower than I had anticipated since there was also another subsequent price adjustment. So it took him much longer to actually LISTEN to me and determine he need to void the other return, and process it on the correct receipt. Lo' and behold I get home several days later to find no credit has been processed and a notice on my account that Target is "waiting for my return" of the good on the return that was initiated. What in the world?! I already returned the items physically. Spent another couple hours with customer service folks to sort out this mess. Aside from that terrible experience, as other reviewers have commented this location in particular always looks drab. The shelves look ransacked and disorganized. Needing to get an updated pair of glasses I checked out Targets Optical Store. After going to For Eyes and a few other places this was the only place I felt had choices without being too overwhelming. Having walls and walls of selections with no help makes me crazy. Bring a friend or a few to help pick styles and colors. You'd be surprised as to what others will pick for you. Richie, Kathy, and Dr. R were all helpful and patient through the process. I went back 3 different times and they answered all my questions. Interestingly enough my AAA membership gives a bigger discount than my BCBS. Also if you buy a pair of glasses or contacts you can get a "clearance" pair for $69.00. I was able to find a nice pair. These could have also been made into prescription sunglasses too. Target is going through some remodeling right now. The Optical and eye glasses are near the Pharmacy which is far right of the store. read more

The Target store at the Framingham Mall is nice but it's very crowded. Since it's located in the Golden Triangle section of Framingham it is very crowded even though there is a Walmart on Caldor Road which is 5 minutes away. This Target does run out of stock of many things unlike the stores in Marlborough on BPR, or the Watertown Mall store, or the Porter Square Galleria store. One thing this location has that many don't os that they have a Pizza Hut Express and a Starbucks. Many of the Targets I go to only have Starbucks. read more

Never have an issue when I go to this Target. The employees I've encountered thus far have all gone out of their way to assist me. Tonight though (and what prompted me to write this review), they had ZERO registers open that had actual employees working on them. It was literally ONLY self checkout open. Let me clarify here....I'm ALL for self checkout....less interaction the better. However, my normally serene self checkout experience was hampered by numerous customers complaining about "no real registers being open" (and other various versions of this statement), not knowing how to scan their items, and one lady is so irate she's going to "call up your main office" (lol @ "main office"). Open up some damn registers so these morons can go back to wait in those line and complain about something else. read more

I went to this target to grab 2 items and went to self checkout, I wanted to pay with cash and every time I put money in the machine it kept spitting it out, about the fifth time I looked back at the employee to see if she'd be able to help me but she was too busy looking at her phone. I tried once again and the lady still wasn't paying attention so I had to Apple Pay it. I went to this Target today to buy a few things and to browse. I feel as if this store has gone downhill over the last few months. The first thing that stood out was the fact that most of the items did not show what the price was. Secondly, there were items scattered in random places throughout the store and it seemed disorganized and messy. I'm speculating that they may be struggling to find workers. 074 / 100 - 2018 YELP 100 CHALLENGE. My favorite Target to go to! There are definitely closer Targets to me, but I just like the one in Framingham for some reason. I think it's the fact that there are tons of other great stores nearby, lots of ample parking, and I can usually take the scenic route here. It's a little out of the way, but I've come to realize that one of the things I miss the most about CA is driving down the freeway, listening to music or podcasts, and just getting lost in thought. There is always plenty of parking here, which I love. The store itself is also big and has A LOT to go through. The layout is a little funky in some areas (namely in the toiletries section), but overall pretty good. They even have a food/produce section that you can check out if you just need something quick and easy. Although this location is crazy busy every time I'm here, I've never had to deal with long wait times for lines. The registers always move quickly and efficiently. Everyone I've spoken with is great, too! I've done pick-up orders from here and each employee has been super friendly and polite, always professional. There's always a great selection of things to pick and choose from, which is awesome. I can usually find exactly what I'm looking for with no problems. Cleanliness-wise, it is pretty good. I mean, it looks like most of the other Targets I've been to in California, so that's decent enough for me. read more

This Target is always out of everything, no matter what day or time you go. The shelves are always empty and the store always looks dirty. I live in Framingham but go out of my way to drive to the Marlboro Target! The Marlboro store is clean and the shelves are always well stocked! Both Marlboro locations! read more

This Target recently launched an interesting partnership with Lapels Dry Cleaning. You can drop off your laundry for wash/dry/fold or dry cleaning at the lockers in the Target. That way you can do your shopping and laundry at the same time! You need the Lapels Dry Cleaning App to do it (can get from App Store or Google Play Store). Lapels also offers home delivery for certain addresses, which is great. read more

It's a typical Target. If you want non grocery items, it does fine. For groceries, there isn't a huge selection and the aisles tend to be crowded. Traffic in and out of the area can be terrible, especially Friday afternoons and weekends. Warning - the cashiers are not friendly at all. *** Portrait Studio Review *** Fortunately, we were able to make an appointment for a family photo with only a week's notice during the holiday season. We found the young lady manning the Target Portrait Studio to be very helpful, patient, and professional with our multigenerational group. She shot us in several arrangements, and willingly retook shots when we realized that there was a visible tummy roll on a seated family member. With the application of a coupon that offered a free 8x10 portrait and no sitting fees and $3.99 per traditional portrait sheet, we found the price of our family portrait to be very pleasantly and surprisingly affordable. Processing was scheduled to take 2 weeks, but we got a call that the order was ready after only a week. The photographs looked pretty good. read more

Ordered online and picked up in store. While the first woman I spoke to seemed annoyed that I was picking up and quickly passed me over to another employee who was pleasant to work with. I believe his name was Camden but he was very helpful and assisted getting the large item loaded in my car even while it was raining out. That man deserves a raise! read more

I placed an online order of 7 items for the convenience of not having to wait in long lines at checkout. 2 hours later received an email that it was ready for pickup. I go to pick it up about an hour later and the girl at the counter has to go FIND my items in the store. So it clearly was not ready for pickup. She then comes back 15 minutes later with ONE out of my SEVEN items. I told her I ordered way more than this, and she said they didn't have any of my other items in stock. I never received an email letting me know only one item was in stock, nor did I get any sort of apology for not having the items, or for having to wait for my one item while she looked in the store. Target has always been my favorite store, but this one has more than once disappointed me and I will not be back. read more

I used to love Target, but the one in Framingham consistently looks like it has been looted. I can never be sure if they'll have what I came in for. Unlike the past, you'll often be hanging out in longer lines before they open more registers. Staff will tell the people in line to to use the self-serve registers. I don't mind with a few items but not a full cart. They recently redesigned the Framingham store, and the clothing sections for boys and for women's athletic wear seems much more limited. Disappointing as they are fairly reasonably priced The Marlborough area ones are somewhat cleaner and more adept at keeping shelves stocked than this one. It's kinda the go-to place around here for cheapo stuff, cuz yanno WalMart is pretty sketchy around here. Everywhere else too I guess, but that's for a whole different review. They seem to have more or less everything here, with the only downside that it's kinda tough to find an employee to help you out. But that's an issue with most of the physically large stores. You can't have someone everywhere. Cashiers are ok, lines are always long, and you get what you pay for. In this case that is often inexperienced employees. All in all, it's fine. Nothing fantastic, but the prices tend to be low and really, that's what we come for. read more

I have to say, I LOVE target. You can find everything under one roof and at affordable prices. I was looking for some Christmas wrapping paper as well as some last minute stocking stuffers on this particular visit. Even though it was three days before Christmas, Target still had a large selection of wrapping paper and gift bags. Their holiday material was still organized and I saw three employees working on that section to insure everything was in its proper place. I wondered over to the toy section and even though it wasn't as organized as their holiday section, they still had a large variety of toys available. I was looking for a particular game and I asked an employee for assistants. The employee was helpful and found the board game I was looking for. As appose to everyone else who reviewed this Target, I did not have a problem when I got to the register, in fact I found some items cost less than their advertised price. In my opinion, this particular location was clean, even though it was snowing outside. And they provide anti-bacterial wipes to clean your shopping cart. read more

I think thats a problem because on amaZon the products cost like $10 and here for a small bottle cost $21 that is crazy And unbelievable. You have more products than walmart which is good but the price like i said is too much for me. Your place is cleaner than walmart and you have pizza hurt which is better than subway. But the price please fix this because for example lets take mielle the product on their page cost $10 or $15 but the 15 is the large one you have very small items from mielle that cost $21 this is so weird. Very poor service here. People were waiting in line to check out and employees were texting on their phones, not willing to open another check out line. When I did check out, the gentleman did not know how to properly print a gift receipt, so the whole thing took even longer. Disorganized shelves everywhere! I was digging through the sports apparel, which was all mixed up. There was a stack of shirts that clearly someone didn't feel like putting away. I have frequented this target for many years. I had a target red card, target stock and I was all in. UNTIL... I went to target one day on my lunch break to pick up items I ordered online. I was in dire need of diapers and they were having their awesome gift card sale. I forgot that I had to pick up a few other items, so I ran into the store, grabbed the items (I know that store like the back of my hand), went through self checkout, and rushed over to the guest services area to grab my items. I jumped in line with one person in front and no one else for miles. The woman asked if she could help me and I said "yes, I am here to pick up my online order" and handed her my ID. She looked at me and huffed. She said that no one ever reads the new sign and asked me if I could read. (YES I am asian, but I was born in this country and SPEAK ENGLISH THANK YOU) She then proceeded to berate me in the store. I asked for my ID back and to speak with a store manager. The manager was a young boy and he had nothing to say but I can check you out instead ma'am. OY. So, I decided to cancel my target card, return all the items I have purchased from them and I am going to try to shop else where. I felt discriminated against because I am a minority female and it was really hurtful. I did file a complaint with their store and corporate, but they don't really seem to care. I don't feel comfortable going to their store if she is still there.
