Yep, I'm playing favorites at this point, LOL. The Target on Lakeline Mall Drive is CLEAN, spacious, organized, and actually has the goods! Plenty to browse without feeling like you're navigating a post-apocalyptic shopping zone. Everything is looking good, shelves are in order, and the whole place just makes running errands less annoying. HIGHLY recommend. Target, you're making it real hard for me to shop anywhere else! read more

Love this location! It took a while for me to find the right pharmacy (CVS) when I moved to Austin 3 years ago. They're very professional and efficient. They took time for my info to be corrected on my pharmacy profile and got to discuss my options as I was paying more than I should previously from a different location with my monthly medication and learned I didn't have to. We refer patients here too and they're very satisfied like I am! Plus I got to have the coupons to get/buy stuff in Target. Who doesn't love Target! Two stops in one. read more

I needed a shower curtain liner. They had 3 to choose from. I like the heavy liners with the weights on the bottom. They didn't have any. The whole area was empty hooks. Also I needed a large box of baking soda and a large bottle of vinegar. That's what I use to clean with, they don't have either. Im totally striking out today. I did get Tide laundry, just a smaller bottle. And I'm going to try a new mascara, from Target. Please compliment my eyelashes when you see me out. Store looked put together. Their Halloween candy section is full blown. I'd love to know how much money they make just on Halloween candy. It's just isle after isle of candy. I did use the self checkout. The young lady standing there had to help me. I was trying to tap my card to pay, and I didn't know where to tap it. She came over and showed me. It glows when it's ready for you to pay. That's why you don't see it. It's not printed anywhere. It lights up. My hand was covering it so I couldn't see it. If the tap wasn't going to work, there's always the good old fashion insert chip, or if you really want to age yourself, the swipe. Quick and easy. read more

5 stars for the manager, J. 4 stars for the stores inventory as most selections I would have normally chosen were not available. All good though. It was a Saturday evening after all. I had been browsing the aisles for far too long when I realized it had gotten dark outside and the store was getting busier and busier. I made a dash for the self check out so I could avoid the droves of shoppers also heading to the checkout. This is where things got a bit dicey but only for a moment. I made it all the way through scanning and bagging my items but there had been some issue with my debit card only charging for half of the order. I've never had that happen before so I was a bit confused and tried another card which also didn't mark. The girl (I didn't catch her name) at the self checkout tried to help but inevitably, the order had to be reversed. Admittedly, I was a little irritated by this point but not with them. I was just honestly very tired, hungry and really wanted to get home lol had I not spent so long shopping, I would have just said never mind and left. I checked my bank per the girl cashier's suggestion and I saw the charge was still pending on my account so she went to get the manager, J. A few moments after I spoke with him and he went to the back to see if he could locate the charge, I got a fraud alert from my bank asking if I had attempted a charge at Target so presumably this was the issue all along. He was very kind, helpful and I could tell he was sincere in his attempt to make it right. Despite me telling him that I wasn't upset and it was all good, I was just a bit cranky lol. So that extra bit of kindness from him was much appreciated. Especially considering the store had gotten rather busy and there were quite a few ppl looking for him so kudos to him for staying so calm, cool, and collected. read more

I used to like Target but the last few trips there have been less then ideal. This time there was no jeans or belts my size and they had a whole area of fitting rooms closed watched by an employee to send you to the other fitting rooms. This meant no shortage of an employee to watch the room but a Long line at the only other dressing room. It caused a ton of issues. I did see someone ask for a manager who never showed. This Target is huge and it has a wide range of products, and also a vision center for contact lenses and eye glasses, and a CVS Pharmacy. The grocery section is more extensive than I am used to, which comes in handy. The Starbucks cafe is also terrific and there are lots of chairs, where you can savor your coffee or just wait for your Lyft ride. I recently enjoyed watching a tired dad holding and comforting his newborn baby, while waiting for his wife to finish shopping. Family-friendly and if you are in the mood for Halloween or holiday decorations, you really must visit. Awesome selection. read more

Well, definitely don't come to this target in the morning and do what everybody else does and wander around aimlessly as one dozen target. I came in looking to find inspiration for a trip. I was taking this weekend and I was followed. I frequent this target. My home is across the street from it and I thoroughly enjoy coming in here. I guess if I had a Starbucks in my hand that probably would've been allowed. I spent a lot of money at this target and as of today I will never be coming back. You can tell the tall black lost prevention man who was aimlessly looking in women's clothes with no women around him, and I walked over to the frozen turn around and this man is holding a random item Also in the frozen section. I also noticed quite a bit of target employees around me. I will never be returning here. read more

I love my local Target. The staff is great as well as the pharmacy and its staff. But beware... Everytime I go for groceries I find so many expired items. Today it was 9 month old Ken's salad Dressing, sour cream. And when the food items aren't expired the best by date is about 8 or 10 days away. I swear my husband and I should get paid for taking the stuff to the staff. read more

This is my target and I love it very much. Now I took off a star because when I have gone in to look for certain things I'm always left underwhelmed or disappointed. The clothes section is a no. The nail and make up section could use restocking and more options. But the reason I say 4 stars is because I use this store as my back up for the oh crap I forgot something or H‑E‑B was out of what I needed situation. I can order a drive up order and it's usually ready pretty fast and then when I get the chance I can swing by and get what I needed without being without or having to walk in a store. It's great for when you need a few items but don't want to go in somewhere. The employees have always been really friendly and I've never had an issue with drive up. read more

I've shopped many area targets in Austin, Round Rock, and Pfluggerville. This particular target is very poorly laid out. It's confusing where things are located and it makes it hard to find things that you're looking for. Then when you finally get to the location you're looking for, they don't have that particular item.I don't think I will bother stopping at this particular Target even if I'm going right by it. It reminds me of the stores that are in big airports. Lots of stuff, but nothing to buy. Addendum While shopping there was a man in an orange t shirt without a mask. Several employees saw him and nothing was done. Know one like confronting strangers, but he's probably one who doesn't believe in vaccines. No wonder we will never get beyond this pandemic. Also no one was wiping the carts down. They had wipes there, but they were dried out and useless. Check out area the hand sanitizer pump dispenser was broken. Good thing I brought my own. Not shopping at this location again. read more

Compared to the other Targets around Austin, this one takes the crown. You wanna be where the people are? You want to be strolling along the aisles looking at frozens and then all of a sudden get transported into aisles and aisles of home decor and clothing? You want Starbucks? They got it. You want thing-a-ma-bobs of a plenty? They got that too. No really, their Disney selection of clothes and figurines are just stocked! They got me some fancy Wooly World amiibo Yoshis when everywhere else in Austin was sold out. Check the Target app on their stock items, drive there, flag an employee down to help you see if something in the back is there, they get you your item with a smile, you drive home pleased. Clearance items in the clothing area are stocked better as well. I love a good sale and can't help myself to want to take a look. I'll get off my Target soapbox now, I swear they didn't pay me to endorse them. One thing I think they could get in on, some self-checkout lanes for the people like me who buy 10 or less and feel they can do their own purchasing and payments. read more

Target - Entrance decked out in Christmas! - Department Stores Near Me - Austin, Texas

Compared to other Targets, this Target has in general rude uncaring employees :-( Be aware if you go in there to buy a stroller or product some of the strollers are zip tied to the walls and you will not be allowed to maneuver the strollers/wagons before buying. Not family friendly. Typical big chain store with uncaring/ unknowledgeable workers, who basically roll their eyes if asked a question. This leadership style comes from managers top down. The employees at this store seem stressed and hiding from customers in general with a question. Shop online to avoid this store if possible and the negative/stressful energy. read more

Listen, I go to Target a LOT. Probably more often than I'd like to admit. This Target is my closest store and my favorite. It's spacious and always feels clean. I've never really had much of an experience to write about good, bad, or otherwise until this past week. My husband and I swung by Target to pick up some holiday gifts on a weekday evening, it's a huge store so it felt pretty slow which was nice. It feels like anywhere you go these days there are people not following the mask mandate i.e. mask not over their nose but this target seems to have it under control for the most part and I really appreciate it. Anyway, what I really came to write about is our cashier that evening, a petite, neon pink haired young woman named Kelly C. How do I know her last name starts with a C? She told us! My husband had a "KC" shirt in as in the Kansas City Chiefs football team and she complimented him on it because those were her initials haha! She was SO freaking sweet and bubbly and honestly brightened my entire day. Kelly is exactly the type of person I imagine Target would like to have at every register: she made polite, fun conversation, she seemed to enjoy her job, and she wasn't annoyed that I asked for gift receipts and brought my own bags. Every other Target employee at other stores seems to hate their job and it's just depressing so I really appreciated this positive interaction. read more

I think everyone knows that I live at Target... or at least if you watch my checkins it sure looks that way! I was over by Lake Line and needed to do some shopping so I stoped in at this Target instead of my normal haunt. A Target is a Target... right? No no no! This Target is not well managed for sure! What is the thing that people always say about grocery stores... Eggs, Bread and Milk... these are the things you never run out of! This Target was basically out of Milk! The coolers were all but empty! The selection at a Target is already on the smaller side, but this one seemed to have even less. Maybe it was just me but there seemed to be less facings and less choices then my normal Target. At least this is how I perceived it and you know how it is... perception is reality! Lastly the one thing I adore about Target is when there are more then 3 standing in line at the checkout they open another lane. This one only had one register open and it took 6 of us in line before they finally made the call to open another register. I like Target... I shop at the location by my house all the time... but this location could use just a touch of the managers "store intellect" that the Stone Hill location has. read more

What can I say, I'm just a girl, living in a Target world. I'm so obsessed with shopping here. It's literally a one stop shop for everything you could possibly need. I tell myself every time I come here. That I just need one thing and then I'll leave. Of course that is never what truly happened. I like this Target in particular, they have a Starbucks! My two favorite places in one location. This place always has everything that I need in stock, it's very rare that I have to order online. The workers are super nice and eager to help. They have nice selection of clothes for everyone. Love that they have a grocery store in this location. Prices can be a little expensive compared to other grocery stores. But it's well worth it and the produce doesn't spoil fast. Also, checkout the shoes, they have a good selection to choose from no matter what you age is! read more

Has target turned into a pottery barn? The new layout looks very welcoming and very warm but where are the deals? Target has always been a little more expensive than some of the other stores especially when it comes to groceries. I really would like to shop here more, but need more bang for my buck. This particular location is usually pretty easy to get in and out of. There's a lot of nice little shops adjacent to it. The store feels a lot bigger than some of the others. We have great experiences with Target in general. However, not this location. Although we live closer to this store, I will happily make the drive to Cedar Park for my Target needs. As a parent of young children, time is a precious commodity and this store continually lacks respect for my time. They would not let me return a product I purchased earlier in the day and made me come back 24 hours later. Really!?? We were told this by a male associate "WB" Not happy at all about this associate. Not a fan of this location. Ive had much better experiences at other Targets. This store is poorly managed in my opinion. They are constantly out of the most basic things and some of their staff need a refresher course in customer service as well as racial awareness training. Yeah, it's a big box store but they have stuff so you go. I don't normally like going to this one because of the packed parking lot. What gets me is with so many cars in the lot why isn't the store packed as well. The layout is just like every other Target. So if you have been in one, you will know where stuff is, if you go into another Target. They also have lots of check-out registers but they only have all of them open during holiday sales. Otherwise they open registers on the far side near the doors. Reasonable! Okay, so getting to why I was pleasantly surprise with this store. So I go there because they have a DVD in stock that I wanted. Bought it and went home, only when I went to open it did I find the small 1/4" print that it was Blu-Ray. So I put it back in the bag to return it. I was dreading the return as all stores usually give you a hassle to return things. Here the good part. From the time I walked in the store to the time I walked out with my refund for the return was two minutes. I am not kidding. It really took that short of a time. No arguments, no hassle, just showed the receipt and Boom, credit to my account. That is fantastic service. read more
