I've been to this location several times and it's been consistently clean, with friendly staff, and great finds in the dollar section. This location does not have a Starbucks, but they do have a great food section. All in all, a great Target location. read more

Well, I can complain about anything really so I'll give it a shot: - They stopped carrying the awesome underwear I got there a couple years ago - T-shirt sizes are magically getting smaller. No idea how a "Medium" was my correct t-shirt size in the house brand shirts - BEFORE I lost 50 pounds!! - They stopped carrying 2 different brands of "fragrance free" deodorants that I used to buy (although that's probably a brand problem) On the plus side, they do have a house brand not-very-sugary Museli which is quite good. And then all those housewares and stuff like washing detergents are good too. so... 5 stars it is! read more

This is my Target. Not necessarily by choice, but because my family and I pass by it to and from our house, at least 4 times a day. It'd be unwise not to go there. Long ago, this Target used to smell like pee. Yes, pee. I hated it, and would drive long distances to go to other Targets. Then, about 4 years ago, it underwent a facelift. Now, I like to pee here (well, when I have to). It has some of the *cleanest* bathrooms I've ever been in. And their hand soap smells amazing. The product selections are not the biggest, the cheapest, nor the most organic, but they do offer the things we need in a pinch, and plenty of other items on which I can spend our life's savings. One of my favorite things about this Target is the staff. From the customer service desk to the pharmacy to the cashiers, these people are wonderful. I am especially intrigued by the one male cashier who has the fingernails of a ghetto hooker (no lie). I often wonder if he's changing the color and sparkle to match a particular outfit or just to suit his fancy. . . In any event, he's part of what gives this Target character unique to this location. I was Christmas shopping for air fryers today and I saw a great sale for them! ( so I thought). They were all on sale, 50% off. The one I want was on sale for $49.99, original price was $99.99, so that was a great deal! So I took it and once I got to the register, they said no it was original price. I explained that they were all grouped together that said "sale 50% off". The manager came, Antonella and started arguing with me. I was trying to explain they should honor the price stated since they were all there. I even walked with her to show her where they were. She was surprised to see them like that. So I told her I would like to be given the price that they're marked for. She told me no, that they were misplaced... that she can offer me 15% off.. which is nothing at all. I refused that offer, because that wasn't the reason why I wanted the air fryer. 15% would do nothing to the price especially with taxes. So she told me that there's nothing she can do, $50 off is too much and she can't do that. Even though they're marked as that price. I wasn't going to keep arguing with her, she clearly was not going to do her job and be reasonable with a paying customer. I've been in management for years, retail management as well... there is definitely something she could have done. Shame on her for not trying to do more. They're employees made the mistake of marking them at that price, not my concern. Very disappointed in Antonella. I hope target trains their employees better in customer service as well as labeling items correctly. read more

I know surprise that it's a two out of five for target but here we go. Tonight I went like I usually go to my local target when I got to the one check out that was available the woman was rude slammed my stuff onto the conveyor belts after she scanned them and broke one of my things. This is literally the second time that I leave at target with a broken item after an employee did the damage! Another previous experience that has happened to me is and I'm not giving me a gift card after I've spent the X amount of dollars on certain cleaning products because there would be a gift card at check out... Nope wrong information the employees always forget to either give me a gift card or they write me off by saying it's only for online orders... But then why do you guys put a sign in your stores if it's for only online orders. I've had many encounters with this target and it's always come to a bad experience but it's down my street so that's why I gave it a two HA. I literally have to save all my receipts after going there because I know that when I get into my car something is bound to be broken or I don't get the right amount of gift cards that are due to the customer. I've emailed them several times about the missing gift cards and they have yet to respond to me. So that's annoying. Not because I didn't get the gift card, but because a customer was told one thing from a sign within their store and it was not delivered. I'm writing a yelp review finally because I am honestly sick and tired of them not being at their customer service level that they should be at being a multibillion dollar company that they are to better target. The only reason this store doesn't get a one star is that it's close to my house and relatively clean. First off, the staff never smile. I've never seen one smile. Let me break it to you guys gently. I could by a shower curtain, some soup and a blu ray disc just about anywhere. The real thing you guys sell is a pleasant shopping experience. That is your currency. When I come in for a return and have to track down someone that can't even get the ball rolling on what needs to happen, it makes me not want to come back. And when I do come back, because the LOCATION is convenient, I try not to make eye contact and expect nothing but discourteous and limp wristed service. I love this Target because it's in one of my favorite shopping/eating centers, never seems to be too packed, it's close to my neighborhood and they always have the best deals. I love the newer Target on Great Hills...but wow, always always packed! That being said, this Target does need to work on the cleanliness of the store and making sure there are enough people staffed to cover both check-out and returns. I also wish they had a Starbucks! This location is ok, I've only been here once while visiting from houston, but I'm giving it 5 stars because i landed 4 frozen dolls! I'm hero mom and auntie! The rest of the selection seemed standard but not too well stocked. The bathrooms were moderately clean so it didn't give me the creeps. Staff are friendly, but can be difficult to find at times. Cashiers are all VERY friendly and very helpful, in our experience. The employees at this location are it's one saving grace. Production selection is practically nil in our opinion as for over a year now it seems that they are out of more than 1/2 of the items we come for and when they run out it takes them months to get those items stocked again. Produce section frequently has expired items in freezers & dairy: we've found items as much as 12 months expired, notified management, and still found the same items there when we returned days later. To be fair, we have not been at this location since April, so we cannot attest to whether any of the above has changed for the better or the worse. WE DO NOT FEEL SAFE AT THIS LOCATION. read more

I rarely get bad service at target and always thought they did a good job hiring. This location is the worst. We went to go pay and I handed the girl a target gift card. She fidgeted with it for awhile then gave it back to me saying she didn't know how to do this. And yet you expect me, a customer, to show you??? How about you call for help? Anyway I told her it's a target gift card so it definitely takes it. She took it back and handed it back to me again and said there's no pin. Palm to face! So I told her she has to scratch off the silver part to get the code. It even says scratch for pin right on it! She took it back then handed it back to me the third time saying she doesn't know how to scratch it off. And yes I saw her scratching it but it was more like rubbing it. At this point I took it back and scratched it off myself. I had 3 young kids in tow and they were extremely fussy. I would've shrugged off the whole experience or laughed at it but the girl (African American) was rude and acted like I was demanding. All I want to do is pay with a gift card, there is nothing demanding about that. She didn't apologize once for being incompetent. Management should be fire for hiring people like this. I like Target in general, but this location always had super long checkout lines. They finally got around to self-checkout terminals, and now I can get in and out of here with a few items quickly. The parking lot also is quicker to enter and leave than most other Target locations. read more

I have problems with this Target. We don't get along. The last couple of times I've been in here I've noticed that when you flip the shelf tags up on sale items, the sale price is often marked up from the original price. The in-store brands are pretty stylish and cute but across the board rip-offs in my experience - shoes that lose a heel after the first couple of wears or zippers sewn in wrong where they'll poke out weird, or one time a throw that just shredded on the first wash even though I followed the washing directions. I have never bought a skirt here that kept its hem past the first couple of washings. It's like they don't believe in product testing or quality stitching on their garments.* Returning items to them is fairly simple and they seem to take back just about anything with receipt, but to me it's simply not worth the hassle of buying something that's going to break in the first place or require a lot of hemming and sewing to strengthen when you get home. Maybe if their prices were comparable or lower than HEB on household items I could give them another star. But no, everything is priced pretty high in here. This is the only Target that I've been to where I've noticed a $50 item marked up to $80 so that it can be placed on sale for $60 and I don't know if that's business as usual with Target or just this store, but I do know I would shop around, even at other Targets, if I was contemplating buying anything from here. *despite this and my many disappointments with Target clothing, especially Isaac Mizrahi's line, I cannot resist their 70% off racks. I would never ever ever pay full price for anything with his name on it though as it all wears out fast. read more

How is this location still around? How do I always end up finding myself at this location? They don't have anything that I'm ever looking for in their store, and the staff is so rude. One of the employees sat there and tried to argue with me that the product I was looking for that day didn't exist. At first I thought that I wasn't being clear, but when I found the item (the things that you can stick on the bottoms of your shoes so you don't slip, because yes, I am that clumsy) she tried to tell me that they were inserts. This location is close to my new apartment, and I've been several times within the past few months. Every time, I notice all of their dairy products are either expired or near expired. My last visit in early june, I noticed some yogurt had expired or was within days of expiring, and these were all marked as "on sale." The yogurt with weeks until expiration was not on sale. Today, I decided to stop by, and they had not changed any yogurt even though I complained last time! There was yogurt which had expired on May 27, over one month ago! Not one yogurt was not expired. While their Black Friday deals were ok, my real issue was the organization of the store. Random lines in places and unhelpful staff just milling around. My rating is based on the following customer service experience: I visited the store to purchase two Starbucks gift cards. I selected the cards I would purchase and designated the amounts to the woman at the register. My four-year old was adamant about the rice crispy treat calling his name from the pastry display. I asked for the rice crispy, and after my request was unacknowledged, I made a second request. To my dismay, my request was interrupted when the cashier stated "I heard you, and I will grab it in a minute" insinuating I interrupted her conversation with the other employee, then continued her conversation with said employee (barista). After a few attempts of failed card activations, the barista (not cashier) requested I select a new card she suspected they may have been previously activated. I grabbed a couple new cards and TADA! Successful activation. I had to request to add an additional item to my order- a soy Carmel macchiato since the cashier never asked. The cashier gave me my total without making eye contact then turned away to tend to making a fresh pot of coffee. I stood at the counter waiting for my receipt, my cards, and cash I requested as a "cash-back option". After standing there awkwardly for a few minutes, she finally turned back and handed me my items without any eye contact or saying "thank you". The barista did her best to try to salvage the poor experience by making small talk about my day, and mentioned the sun was in her eyes when delivering my coffee. The experience was upsetting because 1. Aside from scolding me from interrupting her conversation she maintained no eye contact, was unfriendly, and rude. 2. Her tone of voice and lack of customer service was appalling. Even though I didn't need to do any "shopping", I decided I would grab a shopping cart to replay the situation and would decide whether or not to escalate my experience to a manager. A phone call later, and endless wandering the store with my son, I approached a manager at guest services and explained the situation. She was apologetic and insisted the issue at hand would be addressed. Aside from this, the staff in the store has always been friendly and helpful. I would suggest grabbing a coffee before visiting the store next time. I will chalk the experience up as the cashier having a "bad day". read more

This target is right by my house... Has everything that other target would have... But rude customer service... Rude cashiers... I went there to try on clothing... I was followed into the dressing room by a employee wanted to nervously count exactly how many items I had to try on???? I didn't have a backpack or bag with me I had 2 pair of pants and a shirt!!! All the tags are incorrect on the sale items... When I did finally find the item I wanted I took it up front to check out.. it was supposed to be on sale .. Of course it rang up full price... I had to go back to where the item was .. Find the price tag wait for someone to show up verify the price go back to the front to be rang up again... it turned into a 45 minute ordeal that should have only been 15 minutes... And I'm not talking about $300 pair of pants these pants for $19... Ridiculous... But its Target...You get what you pay for... Customer service is really pour at this location .... I was feeling overwhelmed at how expensive my prescriptions are, and was looking for a new Pharmacy. I had been off my meds for 2 weeks at this point, and came in to Target to get them filled. With my coupons, my scripts came down to $12.50 for both together for a one month supply! YAY! On top of that, the Pharmacy closed right before my meds were ready, and the Target shift manager (Justin, Jason?) re-opened the pharmacy so I could get my meds. Above and beyond customer service! Employees at this Location: WOW! :) Courteous, remember you and your name, don't hassle you. Not kidding! I'm not afraid to make a negative review of a Company's employees, see my other reviews if you don't believe me. But NOW that I've got THAT out of the way... This location... - in the past 18 months or so seems to be having a very difficult time keeping things in stock all over the store, which suggests a Distribution problem. Examples? + no Bay Leaves for at least 4 months ... and MANY other food items + Target Brand generic size 6 diapers (bagged, not boxed) out of stock for days on end roughly every 30 days + Tub Screens (which we always used to purchase from you) along with many other hardware items have been removed from the shelves completely ever since the 2015 Halloween Seasonal started going up... + virtually no mens pants in sizes W 40 x L 32 for OVER A YEAR + extremely limited mens shoes for OVER 2 YEARS, with EVERY SINGLE TYPE of men's shoe, save sandals, not having but approximately 1/2 the sizes available... and the men's shoes are crammed in one 1/2 aisle while women get 4+ ... and even the men's 1/2 of an aisle has womens' & children's mixed in... oh and they're NEVER organized... any of them, men's, women's, or children's + so many electronic's items have been out of stock for so long I can't mention it all here... + the only reason some food items ARE in stock is that they're constantly expired - especially frozen foods & dairy - though the seemed to have gotten better about this the past 6 months + but if you're wanting women's clothing, or households / appliances such as towels, bathrooms decorations, toasters, and coffee makers you're in luck! Seems to be the only thing in the store that they regularly keep in stock! This tells you who Target (and they're not alone) focuses on: Women. Us men, we don't matter that much in the modern world, right? We all walk around in cave-man skins dragging our club behind us, memorizing NFL stats and bragging about who can fart louder or burp the alphabet, right? read more

I wouldn't have thought to write a review about Target - but there is NO WAY to contact Target if you have a complaint. I went in there tonight to buy a coffee maker - and naturally found 15 other items I didn't need, including a game labeled "M" for Mature...17+. I finally got up to the surly check out person, a young woman in her early 20s, who asked for my ID. I asked her why she needed to see my ID - she indicated the M label. I am nearly 50 years old. I told her there was no way under the sun that anyone might confuse me with a 16 year old. She said she still had to see my ID. I told her I am not in the habit of showing my ID to random people for no reason and again refused. She said she had to refuse to sell me the game, in that case. I asked her to call a manager. The manager, it seemed, was on break and wanted to know why she should leeave the break room. The check out girl explained that I was demanding to see her. I said, "go ahead and explain why". Instead,, she took the game and went back to the break room and came back in a huff and made someone else ring me up. This store, despite recent renovation, is ghetto. It is the nastiest Target I have ever been in - and the people who work there are worse than weird and undereducated. WHY would that girl want my ID? Um...can anyone think of a reason? read more
