Ordered boneless buffalo wings and realized that I must carry my cayenne pepper in my purse all the time! Everyone else thought it was a good amount of spice. I just consume spicey food so much (and even drink it in my lemon water) that I've built a tolerance! The skirt steak sandwich was a great combo but the ciabatta bread needed to be crispier- it was soggy from the sauce and juice from the roasted red peppers and spinach. First time there. Nachos were awesome and a bit different with red cabbage and bbq sauce but we really liked them. The fried cheese was amazing. I ordered a turkey burger which I wasn't a fan of. They make their own burger patty and I didn't care for the blend that they had. Also the burger had both raw onion and sautéed onion which I didn't care for the sweet potatoes were really good as well as the dip it came with. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch cocktail was great but they one my husband had (forget the name) was pretty awful and not as we pictured it from the description. read more

We got up to ask about them after ten minutes and they they said they were making them and we didn't get them for another five minutes. Update now that I've been back for dinner. It was beautiful out so we sat outside to eat. Umbrellas and a bunch of tables. Food was really good. I did not go here for a regular meal but I went for the Breakfast Crawl and I was impressed with what they served. They had a triple berry French toast casserole which was AMAZING! On the recommendation of our granddaughter we went to The Tap Room today for a late lunch. It's a pub-type place right next to the Court House in Patchogue. Parking isn't a problem because you can park in the Court House lot for free. The restaurant is slightly dark with the bar and some high top tables as soon as you walk in. There's a small dining room and outdoor tables after the bar. We were greeted quickly and our drink orders were immediately taken. Our waiter was attentive the whole time. The large pretzel appetizer was warm and buttery with accompanying cheese and mustard dipping sauces. Delicious. My whiskey burger was cooked perfectly medium rare and was one of the best burgers I have had in a while. My wife had the short rib sliders and a side salad and loved them. My only criticism was with the fries that came with my burger. I hate coated fries. It's so easy to make natural ones and, in my opinion, they taste so much better. Try the ones at Bobby Flay's or Five Guys and you will see what I mean. Natural fries would have earned a fifth star. We usually don't have desert but we wanted to try deep fired Oreos for the first time. Well, we were hooked with the first bite. They were incredible. All in all. we really liked this place and will return. read more

Their food is delicious! (It's rare that I say this about a restaurant) I recommend the Mac and cheese bites... the burgers- specifically the whiskey glazed or just they're like regular tap burger. Their sweet potato fries and dipping sauce is great! They're open pretty late which is so convenient. I believe until midnight. Indoor seating and outdoor seating. They used to do trivia night which was so fun! They haven't since covid and I'm really hoping that starts back up again. My friends and I are waiting for it! read more

The absolute WORST food I have had in a while. The mozzarella sticks had a gross coating. The spinach dip was not edible and I LOVE spinach dip. This newly opened bar in Patchogue is worth checking out as you drink your way from one end of Main St. to the other. They have 18 beers on tap; 6 of which come from Blue Point Brewery, and they have future plans for a "Blue Point Pint Club" where drinking BP beers will earn you "rewards" --I'm not sure what that means yet though. They serve standard pub fare (burgers, wings, etc.) and the kitchen is open til 3am! The crowd is what you'd expect for this area. (That's all I will say; you can make your own conclusions). Our waitress was friendly, although the service was a bit slow.
