Now I've pervious performed at and attended over 100 open mics, at different bars, venues, houses etc, and believe me when I say this was one of my all-time favorite. All the musicians were super talented, the host was a pro's pro, and the audience were incredibly supportive & engaging. The space just felt warm, friendly and had a calm yet electric buzz the entire evening. Also, the bartender, Penny, really seemed to set the tone for the entire bar. She is extremely welcoming, witty and just an all-around positive person. You can tell she really enjoys her job and makes sure that her patrons are having a good time. I was sticking to non-alcoholic ginger beer all night and she only charged me $2 each, how kind is that?! All in all, a true gem of a bar with an open mic that I will 1,000% return to.

Sifting through the many choices on yelp was a little overwhelming. Then it hit me. I've eaten at two morrow pub many times in the past and have never had a sub par experience. It's been quite awhile since bread or potato passed my lips so I wanted it to be perfect. Two Morrows was an obvious choice. It was freezing out and walking into the warm and friendly space highlighted by the hot fireplace set the table for us. We were seated right next to said fireplace and our server Lisa took care of us right away. She was helpful and friendly and made us feel right at home. I ordered the piggy platter which consisted of a half pound burger cooked exactly the way I ordered it. It comes with your choice of sides, mine was steak fries also cooked to perfection and Lisa was nice enough to add cole slaw, creamy and crunchy. I added a pint of toasted lager, my girlfriend had a diet friendly burger and a salad and the food came out right away. Hot and fresh. The burgers here and made the old fashioned way, 8oz. Of fresh chopped meat formed by hand and cooked to perfection. My girl and I chose med rare. This place makes me happy. Not to noisy, cozy, classic pub atmosphere, choice of sport or movie on the several TVs and oh that fireplace! This place is not too big but I kind of like that. Oh and its clean! At the end of our meal Lisa supplied us with the check and since Valentines day was just a couple days away my girl got a valentines day card with a cute heart bracelet. I'm not sure this experience couldve been had at many other places. Let me end with saying you can probably find fancier newer pubs or restaurants at a much higher price point but not many with a more satisfying experience. Dont pass this place without stopping by. This is 100% a locals spot. Everyone seems to know each other or be dating or related, but are friendly and did include us newbies in their shenanigans. Bartender was nice and attentive, also loud and obnoxious in the best way. It feels dirty and slightly uncomfortable but in the way that makes you want to stay and continue experiencing it-- if that makes any sense. It's a great spot choice for a ridiculous and unpredictable night. At the very least, you'll leave with a story and a memory you'll never forget. TLDR; we will most likely go back the next time we're feeling frisky and risky

They also offer an ATM, Multiple Candy Machines, 2 Dart Boards, Multiple TV's, Pinball, Pool Table, and TouchTunes. There's separate restrooms for men and women, and the smoking area is done outside, in the front of the building. There's plenty of seating here, for small to midsize groups of people to attend. Off the bat, I won't lie I got some "Applebee's" type feelings from the place, but I wasn't going to pass judgment on a place simply by how it looks, my mother taught me better! But granted you could probably argue that for a lot of American bistro style restaurants that try to have that hometown local feel to it with all the stuff hanging on the walls. Staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, our server especially, Alexa, really felt like she was going out her way to check in on us and how everything was which did feel nice. For food we started with the spinach artichoke dip, a classic and this one was just as good as I've had anywhere, but most importantly they give you plenty of chips! For entrees, I went with the Philly cheesesteak and my girlfriend went with the brisket French dip with mozzarella cheese. Both were delicious but I think my girlfriend beat me this time with her choice! The choice of brisket over a typical roast beef is an interesting one for a French dip, but I do love a good brisket and this one was certainly tasty. The Philly wasn't you're traditional cheesesteak either, but it scratched my itch (but do be warned that thing comes out HOT!). Both came with a deceivingly large basket of fries that were fresh and crispy and a nice salty to compliment to our sandwiches. I really enjoyed trying this one and they had a bunch of interesting specials that I contemplated trying too, which makes me eager to come back again and see what other new tasty options they might have in store!
