Traditional SP is a layer of ground meat with peas in it and often carrots and a thick baked crust of mashed potatoes on top. This was thin and a bit soupy. I didn't care for it and I really like SP. The other three times I have been here the food was good. Maybe it was an off night and the chef was on an umami kick. Who knows.
