The sampler appetizer included your standard apps: potato skins, mozzarella sticks, wings & onion rings with sauces was slightly overpriced at $22.50 but still good and could pass as a meal itself. The best choice was the French Dip sandwiches all cooked to perfection and well portioned served with French Fries. Callout to our server Jessica was outstanding. Attentive, friendly and knowledgeable with some excellent sandwich suggestions. Restaurant features a full bar area, dining area with table service and a section of the dining area that can be converted to a private room for special events. Overall a great little pub with attentive, friendly ostaff serving excellent French Dip sandwiches at reasonable prices.

The French onion soup was just ok, and seemed like no effort putting this together. No provolone cheese option when I've ordered which is crazy. The Caesar salad tasted diluted, with lettuce that seemed waterlogged rather than crisp and fresh. Just overall underwhelming. The food is not necessarily terrible, but just mediocre and forgettable. Portion size is another problem. For what you're paying, the plates often feel surprisingly small. One example of this was the "Big C Burger," which was honestly a huge letdown. With a name like that you'd expect something substantial. Instead, the burger was tiny--maybe 4-5 ounces at most. At first glance you could barely even see the meat because the bun swallowed it. I ordered it medium and it came out completely overcooked, cooked to death really. The bun didn't help either--dense, dry, and overpowering the already small patty. The whole thing just felt poorly executed. Even the little details were off. I asked for olive oil on the side for a salad and what came out was clearly some generic vegetable oil. It felt like a lazy substitution, the kind of thing that makes you question how much care is going into the kitchen overall. To be fair, the one thing Faraday's consistently gets right is the atmosphere. The restaurant is has a cozy charming space with a warm pub feel. The indoor dining area although small has character and a comfortable vibe. The outdoor area is really nice too, and perfect for setting for a nice meal on a comfortable day. Service is good. I've not had any issues with any servers ever being inattentive. Occasionally some order mixups but quickly rectified. Unfortunately, that inviting setting hasn't translated to memorable meals. After several attempts over the years, Faraday's has remained one of those places that seems like it should be good--but for me, it just never quite hits.

They cut the cake small handed out pieces then failed to make the cake available for anyone to eat more and top it off the bartender was eating cake a huge piece at the bar. Ok so we had cake however COFFEE goes with cake it shouldn't have taken them 30 minutes after serving cake to get our guest coffee. Then to top it off the cookie platters that were included were sad. 1 red velvet cookie surrounded by 6 chocolate chip cookies 1 plate per table. I'm surprised because I've been here before and never had such a unfulfilling experience. They left us having to get up and continuously ask for refills and missing items. I'm disappointed and don't recommend them for a party. As an addition to the story after they read my review they called and apologized and fully addressed the situation to our satisfaction.
