Seemed a little trashy to me. Went for karaoke and wasn't a fan of the crowd; pool table kept me sane.

I got an all you can drink bracelet, and had a great night. Girls were pretty hot too.

We went with the hot chocolate package which came with all the fixings. The kids got to sing and take hot chocolate breaks. Our friends and family had so much fun. We had to fight the kids for the adults to take turns to sing! lol We would recommend Rolling Raoke for your party and we would love to use them again!

Absolutely love the vibe here! We went during a semifinal game with the Knicks so there were a few…read morepeople watching the game. It was also May 4th, and I'm happy to see they were also playing Star Wars. I got the grilled chicken sandwich which came with fries (I got sweet potato). It was plenty of food for me! Our waitress was very attentive and kept checking in on us.

Tried Bull Smiths Tavern on Monday afternoon on a bright clear 65 degree day. I immediately noticed…read morethe setting; big garage doors open along the large L-shaped bar which made for a great indoor-outdoor atmosphere. There's also a solid amount of outdoor seating, and the space overall feels like it can easily transition into a nightlife or event spot later on. Then our dining experience got underway. The bartender who sat us was friendly. The service however lagged behind thereafter. The service was slow, likely because our waiter seemed to be juggling multiple roles. A few small things were quite a bit annoying. There was no physical beer list, so being rattled off a long list of tap and bottle beers felt like a memorization game that I had to choose a beer on the spot. Also noticed the table and menu felt a bit sticky, suggesting some attention to cleanliness is needed. Food was a mixed bag. The Nashville chicken sandwich was underwhelming--a thin piece of chicken served lukewarm, topped with two pickles, and minimal coleslaw on a Martin's potato roll. The lack of slaw made it harder to balance the spice, and oddly, the fries were hotter temperature wise than the sandwich itself. The Bull Smith burger fared better. It was well-constructed and flavorful, especially with the onion ring and BBQ sauce, and the bun was great. That said, burger came out more a well-done temp than the requested medium-well, which took away from it slightly. A few details stood out more as missed opportunities than real issues: there was no mention of that the special for Monday was pasta night. Also not a mention it was happy hour. And while fry substitutions were offered, the upcharge wasn't disclosed. None of these impacted the final bill negatively, but clearer communication would have improved the experience. Overall, it's a place with a good setup, but inconsistent service, some cleanliness issues and execution hold it back. I might return, but service speed and attention to detail would need to improve.

Tried this spot during Restaurant Week. First off, the parking lot it limited. They offer valet…read moreparking for $30 but it goes towards your restaurant bill. But if that isn't available, you have to find a spot in the lot and then find the inconvenient sign with a QR code at a $1/hour. The bar was busy when we arrived. We were seated at a table near the windows and were able to see the amazing sunset, as well as the ferry, which both arrived and departed several times during our meal. Our server was Destiny, who was very nice and did her job well. We had ordered some cocktails which took a very long time because there was only 1 bartender attending to the crowd. As for appetizers, we chose the mozzarella steak, the garlic and herb mussels and the cauliflower bites. All were served beautifully and tasted good as well. We also asked for bread and a loaf was served warm with olive oil and a half WELL roasted garlic bulb (most likely used for decoration) but it should have been roasted a lot less for it to be used as a spread. Dinner was the steak frites, twin lobster tails and golden glaze salmon. The steak was served with a salsa verde, the lobster was accompanied by a small gravy boat of drawn butter, a half corn cob and 4 roasted baby potatoes. The salmon, was my dish and was crispy and tasty, served over broccolini stalks and purple forbidden rice. Dessert took a while to come out and we were worried that we wouldn't get back to our car for the expiration of our time. It worked out. 2 of us ordered chocolate cake and I had the cheesecake. The portions were huge! I think what took so long was that they had to open up a new cake because 1 slice was warm and fudgy, while the other was more solid and dense. Not a problem, still delicious. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

I think it's fair to leave a review after 4 dinner visits with family…read more Limited menu in my opinion, not enough single serving steaks for a chop house. Not enough fish options. It's a common menu for downtown Port Jefferson RECOMMEND: twin tails, dad reports perfectly cooked. raw bar, fresh and nicely presented, calamari app beautifully done and love the spicy fried cherry touch. Love the roasted garlic clove served with the bread. Sides of asparagus and smashed goldies are consistently spot on. DO NOT RECOMMEND short ribs. It's a LOOOONG SINGLE rib. Not what locals expect. Too much gristle. This dish is MUCH better at Nantucket's or Culper. BP should take it OFF the menu. Pork chop was tough. Filet mignon was tough and bland. Branzino was bland. Culper's overdoes salt, BP is light on seasoning. That said, branzino better butterflied and cordon bleu quality at Culper whereas at BP, skin was soggy, not crispy. As a native New Englander, I test all chowders. Everywhere. BP New England was so underpopulated by diced taters or clams, there was NOTHING in it. Flavor was ok but if you know your chowders, this won't work for you. Best local New England is at Nantucket's and best Manhattan; PJ Lobster. SERVICE, good by most, better by some. Steak knives are DULL. Don't wait 5 minutes before bringing salt and pepper? All Staff must use crumb scrapers, if one does it, they all should? Staff is well dressed and professional. GM is super personable and attentive, I will continue to patronize, my dad LOVES the harbor view which is money in the bank for this restaurant. OMG PLEASE DITCH the plastic flowers. IMMEDIATELY. I don't dine in nail salons LOL. THANK YOU.

If there's one restaurant in town I've tried to give a fair shot to over the years, it's Faraday's…read moreof Smithtown. I've been here on numerous occasions hoping that maybe this would finally be the visit where everything clicked. Unfortunately, it just hasn't happened. My experiences have been so-so, and more often than not they've been slightly disappointing. My biggest complaint has always been the food. My take has been it's been bland or uninspired. The French onion soup was just ok, and seemed like no effort putting this together. No provolone cheese option when I've ordered which is crazy. The Caesar salad tasted diluted, with lettuce that seemed waterlogged rather than crisp and fresh. Just overall underwhelming. The food is not necessarily terrible, but just mediocre and forgettable. Portion size is another problem. For what you're paying, the plates often feel surprisingly small. One example of this was the "Big C Burger," which was honestly a huge letdown. With a name like that you'd expect something substantial. Instead, the burger was tiny--maybe 4-5 ounces at most. At first glance you could barely even see the meat because the bun swallowed it. I ordered it medium and it came out completely overcooked, cooked to death really. The bun didn't help either--dense, dry, and overpowering the already small patty. The whole thing just felt poorly executed. Even the little details were off. I asked for olive oil on the side for a salad and what came out was clearly some generic vegetable oil. It felt like a lazy substitution, the kind of thing that makes you question how much care is going into the kitchen overall. To be fair, the one thing Faraday's consistently gets right is the atmosphere. The restaurant is has a cozy charming space with a warm pub feel. The indoor dining area although small has character and a comfortable vibe. The outdoor area is really nice too, and perfect for setting for a nice meal on a comfortable day. Service is good. I've not had any issues with any servers ever being inattentive. Occasionally some order mixups but quickly rectified. Unfortunately, that inviting setting hasn't translated to memorable meals. After several attempts over the years, Faraday's has remained one of those places that seems like it should be good--but for me, it just never quite hits.
