Was here for a wedding over the weekend. The venue was beautiful and clean, and every space felt welcoming and comfortable for the amount of guests. The bar tenders were mixing up AMAZING drinks. One of the servers, Jamie, went above and beyond. My husband and I have food allergies--he's allergic to tree nuts, I'm allergic to peanuts. One of the hors d'oeuvres she was passing out had pesto, and when we asked if it had nuts she went to find out. She sought us out to tell us that not only was the pesto nut free, but that EVERYTHING being served was both tree and peanut free. She was amazing. The food was plentiful and delicious. I got the steak, my husband got the pork chop, and both were absolutely incredible. Our waitress was able to pack up my husband's leftovers and held it in the fridge for us until we were ready to leave. It was a beautiful wedding, beautiful venue, fantastic service, fantastic food. Just attended a wedding here over the weekend & the venue was absolutely beautiful! The ceremony was held outside - very intimate setting. The decor was breathtaking, the food was delicious & I particularly enjoyed that there was only one wedding happening. Sometimes venues carry many events at the same time which can take away from how special each event is. The staff was phenomenal, all so nice - the place itself was very clean & spacious. We went to a wedding. I was the guest of someone invited. We sat at a round table of 12. Everyone around the table worked together so they all knew each other. The table behind is another round table that seats 12. Well one of the invited guests was sitting alone at the table.. We all moved and made room for her at the table. Then one of the servers comes over to the table to tell us she cannot sit there. I asked her why not?? That she was sitting alone and what was the big deal. This server kept insisting that she can't sit there. I then asked her if she was the table police.. So a few minutes later when we thought it was ok this snotty waitress taps this guest on the back to tell her that she cant order her dinner from this table and when she gets her dinner she CANNOT bring it to our table.. That was it. how do you tell a guest this????? I asked to speak to the supervisor. She said no. I had to walk past her and ask another server to take me to her manager. I cannot begin to tell you how disgusting it was that at a wedding you are told you had to sit at a table and cannot be moved. You were making her very uncomfortable. I would never recommend this place ever, as nice at the wedding was never. Employees saying no..... She is easy to spot blue hair.. Very nasty and has no right being in this business...BTW no one sat at the table behind us.... She would have been alone..... No mingling at a wedding. What a great place to have a Special Lunch. The place is beautiful, even more so than last year. The interior garden room is huge, and spectacular, with a bridge and koi pond. I picture an elegant cocktail party in it. The event I attended was in the main room. I was amazed at how comfortable the temperature and sound level was. The staff were wonderful. The bartender made me an original cocktail, and Autumn was a lovely waitress that did everything right. The menu had 4 entrees. I selected the steak, which done to perfection. I was so surprised to see the Waitor asking me at the end of the night if I had a good time? Almost like he owned the place what a gentleman. The best part about it was there is this huge awning outside when you get your car from valet and it was pouring so it felt like it never rained because you were completely covered by these tents. Flowerfield Celebrations estate is located on the Northshore of Long Island where one would find hilly notable landscape unlike the flat sandy south shore. The property has an impressive landscape of manicured gardens, vineyards, reflecting ponds and water fountains which provides a pleasing setting. The cocktail hour was in a large area that resembled an airplane hangar with soaring ceilings, greenery, and flowers. The dining room was set aside from where the cocktail hour was in a cozy, roomy, and warm space. The afternoon affair was delightful, and the staff was wonderful. read more

I came here for a lovely summer wedding! The venue is romantic and super floral, with a bridge in the middle of the cocktail area. There's also a gazebo, a lake, and a reception area. It seems like it's for smaller parties, around 150-200 people, though the manager who I met on the way in told me their capacity is 300. The food was wonderful. There was paella, shrimp, pasta, fruit, plantains, and more. The dinner consisted of salad, and either filet mignon, chicken, or salmon. The salmon was a great dinner choice. The service was sweet! Tracey, our dinner server, was very friendly and accommodating. I wasn't going to order any dinner, but she convinced to and said that she'd wrap it to go for me in the end. The servers during the cocktail hour were very professional and helpful. The only thing was that it was like an ice box the entire time. I was so cold I could hardly move. This is a VERY pretty venue. That's kinda where it ended for me. I went for a graduation event and it was just okay. The food was not labeled and the servers didn't know what most of the items on the buffet line were. Since there were a lot of dietary restrictions, i felt like a lot of people were talking about not getting as much as they could have because they didn't know what was in the food. For a party the size of 200+ people I thought this was inconsiderate. The weather was pretty cold out, high 50s. Anddddd they had the AC on blast. I understand that it's summer but you also have to take the current temperature into account. I kept my coat on most of the time. The dancing helped warm the room up but that only lasted about 20 minutes. There was a ton of geese poop outside the hall where people were taking pictures. The venue can't control if geese are there, which I get. However, since most of the geese poop was on the walking paths I expected the venue to clean it up to make it easier to navigate which didn't happen. Overall there were certain ways in which I felt they could have gone the extra mile but it was a nice looking venue and the pictures came out great -- love the lighting in the banquet hall. read more

This was the venue for my department's Christmas party. Overall, the decor was great with a lot of green plants within the main atrium. The appetizers were excellent but the main entrees were just your typical pasta and roast meats. However, there are plenty of space at the main dance floor and the DJ played good house music throughout the night. Many guests I spoke to said it was the most incredible wedding they had ever been to. Like a true yelper , I searched yelp for my dream wedding venue. As always yelp delivered. I was blown away by the grounds of Flowerfield when we first walked in. It was the second venue we looked at and we both knew that it was where we wanted to get married immediately. The coy pond and the romantic bridge in the atrium is what we fell in love with. Lauren is who we dealt with for the entire two years we were planning our wedding. Every time she was amazing. She is truly a gem. Always responded to my emails and my 100 questions and concerns. She made sure everything on the day of our wedding was exactly our vision. She even surprised us with a gingerbread house we fell in love with the first time we came to FF. The final day we went to drop off our last payment we asked where the giant gingerbread house was; Lauren told us they had new decorations this year and that was no longer there. I think she saw that my husband I I were a little bummed out. On our wedding day she surprised us with the jumbo gingerbread house set on a table next to our sweetheart table. It's all in the details for us and honestly that was such a beautiful gesture. We love Lauren . You're in good hands with her. Andy my maitre'd and Debbie the bridal consultant were complete angels on the day of my wedding. They were a good team and they made sure my husband and I with our families were taken care of the whole night . Andy made sure everyone knew what to do in the ceremony , he even walked my mother in law to help carry something to her car. Debbie sewed a button on to my wedding dress and made sure I was happy the whole night. She even gave me a lip gloss to retouch my lips. I honestly was in the best hands, they made everything run smooth. They knew what I needed before I even needed it. They were just top of the line. I was so happy having them by my side the entire night. I honestly felt like a princess the whole night. My family and friends all bragged about the food and the service. Everyone loved the food. The shrimp and scallops were amazing. My husband loved his filet mignon . The cocktail hour alone is breathtaking . I loved that they brought us every meal to our table, I was never a hungry bride. We were always fed and always had drinks . My husband and I were so happy with our wedding. We are still talking about how much we loved Flowerfield and the staff. Everyone was amazing. This venue is absolutely beautiful and unique. Just pulling in there are so many beautiful areas to take photos. We attended a wedding here and the first room you come into is so different. It has so much greenery , a bridge and has so much character. We were lead outside to the ceremony which was again over a small bridge and was in front of a gazebo. Cocktail hour was all set up in the first room we came into. They had plenty of tables for everyone to sit and eat. The main room was very big. Decent size dance floor. Dinner was very good. Even beyond the gorgeous grounds, the unique atrium, and the spotless, spacious ballroom, Flowerfield is, hands down, the best wedding venue on Long Island. We worked with Lauren to coordinate our big day, and she was the consummate professional. She always responded to our emails quickly, sometimes even on her day off. When we decided to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic, she made the process as painless as possible for us. When 8/14/21 finally came, I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I just couldn't believe how...special they made us feel. From the moment we walked in the door, the staff was clearly working hard to ensure every detail was perfect and that we were happy. Jade, the bridal attendant, was an angel on earth. And Andy, the maitre'd, was flawless. You could tell they do these all the time, and yet we never felt like we were just "one of the many." It's also worth mentioning that Flowerfield doesn't have any hidden administrative fees in their pricing, so there are no surprises. Their Saturday afternoon wedding package is beyond reasonable. What a beautiful place to get married! My friend married the love of his life yesterday in a beautiful ceremony. When my boyfriend and I arrived there was a monitor of different pictures of my friend and his love throughout their relationship. That was a nice touch! Going in to the ceremony room there was champagne, wine and assorted little finger foods going around. The champagne had blueberries inside, and it was delicious. The ceremony was great! Lots of room and a bridge that each wedding party member walked over to get to the alter. The ceremony room is also were cocktail hour took place. SO MUCH FOOD! Yes, so much food. A pasta station, crepes, a chili station, fruit, assorted salads, meat and cheeses, egg rolls, dumplings, raviolis, guacamole, hummus, and so much more! I can't remember. Everything I had was delicious. During cocktail hour more little finger foods was passed around. SO DAMN GOOD! And the alcohol! All the alcohol! Open bar with great mixed drinks and signature martinis. The signature drinks of the wedding was "the buddy" and "the jack" Both were great! The reception hall was great too! Great band, great set up and more great food! The bread with the butter and thyme was amazing tasting. For my meal I and the chicken and my boyfriend had the steak. He said his steak was cooked to perfection. For dessert there was cake accompanied by a chocolate covered strawberry. SO GOOD! There was also an ice cream bar with apple strudel. SO GOOD. FOOD COMA! Visit Date: July 8, 2017 My friend got married here so I had the opportunity of viewing the wedding as a member of the bridal party. The staff was super attentive to us the moment we arrived. We were all led to the bridal suite and there were snacks for us to eat and most of it was healthy. We had one lady I believe her name was Debbie who was terrific. She kept asking us if we wanted beverages and she bought us anything we requested. My one friend and I had to breast pump and they even kept our breast milk cool for us in the kitchen refrigerator. When Hubby and I had to leave the wedding early to get our son it was hysterical because they bought out our breast milk on a silver serving platter from the kitchen lol. I wish I took a photo. The venue is amazing, so pretty! There's a garden and pond inside! The wedding ceremony was held on the gazebo outside and they set the fountain off when the bride and groom kissed so cute! The cocktail hour was off the wall so much food I was so stuffed by the time the cocktail hour was over which actually worked out well because unfortunately the wedding ran late and hubby and I had to go pick up our son so we left before dinner was even served. I wish I could have stayed for the duration of my friend's wedding even if I didn't eat any dessert I would have loved to have seen what dessert options were available. One of the nicest, if not THE nicest, wedding venues I have ever been to in my life. I participated as a groomsman for my friend's wedding here recently and the place was just spectacular from the moment we walked in. Pretty much, all of my friends agreed that this was definitely at the top of their list of nicest wedding venues ever. The set up was pretty simple inside. After walking into the venue thru the main entrance, we were immediately graced by the atrium, which was where the cocktail hour was held. The atrium was just gorgeous and resembled a botanical garden. There was a huge Koi pond in the middle of the room with a bridge overlooking it. The space was covered in tropical plants and flowers on the sides with huge glass windows all around. My only small complaint was that there was a large built-in bar to the corner and, with the spaciousness of the room, it could have used another bar on the opposite end. Since cocktail hour was held in the atrium, there were mini tables all around. For the actual reception and dinner, it was held in the grand ballroom, which was a short walk away from the atrium. It was a decent size, but not anything out of the ordinary. The dance floor was smackdab in the middle. It was a typical dinner area for a wedding. For the groomsmen and bridesmaids, there were separate rooms for each away from the atrium. For us groomsmen, we had a whole huge dark lounge to ourselves, with a full bar and multiple couches. It was very spacious and comfortable. The bridesmaids had a much smaller room near the groomsmen. As for the outdoor area, it was also pretty big and very lush with tall trees, a swan pond, a large fire place and a wooden bridge that led to a gazebo. It was a very charming area. Like a broken record, I will say again this was one of THE nicest wedding venues I have ever been in. The atrium truly gave a great first impression, which led to the beautiful outdoor area. To top it off, our friends had a fantastic wedding here and the venue was the perfect selection for it. read more

Flowerfield is truly a magical place. We discovered Flowerfield through our wedding planner, Gina Milano, and we really liked it when we visited. But the venue really came to life on our actual wedding day, when the usual additional touches (flowers, lighting, music) transformed Flowerfield into something that most (or maybe all) of our guests had never experienced. We know, because they told us so, repeatedly! We also considered castles/mansions and hotel ballrooms, but Flowerfield proved to be perfect for our July wedding, because: - It was 95 degrees out, and Flowerfield allowed everyone to stay inside and cool, but... - With lots of light shining in to the beautiful atrium and ballroom, and... - Still giving everyone the option to explore the beautiful grounds outside, including the bridge and the swans There were two other huge factors that made the day legendary. The first was the staff. It started with great support throughout the process from Pam & Lauren. And the "day of" execution was great - Andy (Maitre 'd) executed flawlessly, and Jade (Bride's Attendant) made everything so seamless for us - including ensuring that we got to eat & drink. On that note... The second factor was the food. The food stations at the cocktail hour were delicious & abundant, to the point that many people came up to us saying that they couldn't believe that there was still a dinner to be served. We had our son's wedding here this past weekend (6/21/19) and all I can say is it was magical. Every detail was taken care of. The Maitre 'D, Andy, was a real pro in the truest sense of the word. He made sure everything happened when it was supposed to and that everything behind the scenes ran like clockwork. One example of this was as we were lining up to begin our procession 'down the aisle', a button popped off of one of the groomsmen's tuxedo! Andy held the line momentarily while he opened his 'jacket of tricks' and began to sew the button back on not missing a beat! My husband asked him if he could please cut a little thread that was sticking out from his tuxedo shirt and driving him crazy, I saw a flash of flame appear and Andy actually burned off the thread like a fire breather! It was impressive! He was prepared for anything that could come up! The venue is gorgeous. Flowers, trees, and a beautiful fountain. It is about 2 hours out on Long Island if you are coming from the city, so if you are planning a weekend wedding in the summer you should definitely ask your guest to allow plenty of time! It took some of our guests 4-5 hours to get there with Hamptons and beach traffic. That said, everyone raved about the wedding and said they had the best time they've ever had at a wedding. I have to also give kudos to Patricia, the attendant that looked after the Bride & Groom. She was on top of everything. She made sure the bride was shielded from guests until the procession, and, she also made sure they had what they needed throughout the night. She and Andy are a knockout team together! Now THE FOOD: It was exquisite! People were fed and taken care of from the moment they walked into the place. Upon arrival they were escorted into the patio and given water or champagne along with passed appetizers. This lasted until it was time for everyone to be seated for the ceremony in the garden. After the beautiful ceremony all of our guests were taken into the atrium and had the most incredible cocktail hour! People could not get over the quality of the food, and how much there was of it (mashed potato bar!). Many of our guests thought the cocktail hour was the reception! That's how good the food was. We had to warn people not to eat too too much because we were going to have dinner inside of the ballroom! My son and DIL chose to have the burrata salad for an appetizer (they will also go off menu and make you a plain green salad if there are dietary concerns). We also offered the Filet Mignon (highly recommend), the roasted chicken breast (my husband loved it), pan roasted codfish with roasted potatoes, and a grilled vegetable lasagna for vegetarians. We also asked that they have available a vegan/gf option should they be necessary (it was a spinach gf ravioli with tomato sauce and cashew cream), I had it and it was amazing! We opted to have the cake done by FlowerField and chose a white cake with raspberry filling and butter cream. It was scrumptious! I can't tell you enough how special the whole night was and how FlowerField took care of everything. You can't go wrong by having your wedding here. You will not be sorry. This review is so long overdue! Whenever I think of Flowerfield, it literally takes my breath away. My husband and I were married here at the end of April and I could not have dreamed of a more perfect place for us to tie the knot! We visited Flowerfield the week after we got engaged and absolutely fell in love with the venue. Kerry Pacella gave us our Welcome Tour and helped us secure our wedding date/complete initial paperwork. Patricia Premier, our Coordinator, was with us from start to finish. She went above and beyond to ensure our happiness-- at the food tasting, with decorations, in selecting our cake, to even opening the grounds so that my parents (who live out of state) and I could make a pre-wedding visit together. The staff was ready and waiting for us the second our limo pulled up. We were promptly welcomed and ushered into the Bridal Suite, where a lovely spread of drinks and light refreshments was available. Since we were planning an April wedding, I was a little nervous about what the weather might do come the actual date. Flowerfield was flexible and prepared and an hour before our outdoor ceremony was to take place, the staff was able to move everything indoors (for a ceremony even more beautiful than I could have imagined). Our guests could not stop complimenting how wonderful the service was and how delicious everything tasted-- In fact, our Cocktail Hour was so lavish that many people thought the Cocktail Hour WAS the Reception meal! The Reception Hall looks like something out of a fairy-tale without being gaudy or overdone. Picture a spacious ballroom, brightly lit by the spring sunshine, with stunning views of the outdoor gardens... White silk rafters, crystal chandeliers and a newly finished hardwood dance floor. I want to write more but every time I try to describe how truly amazing Flowerfield is, I start crying! Not only that-- My words don't do our experience any justice! I don't even know where to start. From the moment I first walked in to tour the venue, I knew I wanted to get married here. Their space is so truly special and magical. Patricia (event manager) and her team were all welcoming from day 1 and have been so supportive the entire time, even during these uncertain times. I was persistent in sticking with my original date of my wedding, and the entire Flowerfield team were all onboard. Patricia was so good at keeping me in the loop and was always quick to respond. Even though we had to downsize our wedding guest list, in the end I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. It rained the entire day of my wedding, but the team was quick to set up the ceremony in the Atrium (the beautiful indoor botanical garden-like space). Andy, our maitre'd, was phenomenal. The ceremony and reception wouldn't have run as smoothly without him. He was always there when we needed him. Debbie, my bridal attendant, was like my fairy godmother, always there to solve any issues when they came up. She had everything a bride would ever need on her. She and Andy even helped me fix my dress! Also the food was absolutely delicious. All of our guests loved every part of it! I can't thank the whole Flowerfield team enough. They made our wedding day happen despite the restrictions and limitations that altered our idea of what we wanted. Everything turned out even more perfect than what I had imagined. Thank you Patricia, Andy, Debbie, and entire Flowerfield team for all that you've done for me and Daniel. We were so lucky to have found you guys to make our dream wedding come true. Our children's wedding was 2 days ago and we are all still kvelling (google it!) I'm just not sure where to start...Patricia, our planner and contact, was a pleasure to work with. The bride and groom live in San Francisco so they communicated with her via e-mail and she was responsive (amazing given the time difference), thorough and absolutely accomodating. Kelsey, the bridal attendant, was absolutely amazing. She bustled and pinned the gown like a champ, and seemed to have everything necessary in those deep pockets in her tux. Bobby pins-check. Tissues for the MOB-check. Lint roller for the groom-check. Safety pins-check. She anticipated the bridal party's needs and was forever present and prepared but never imposing. There was nothing that she couldn't handle! Andy, our Maitre D, was a rock star. He was forever in the background but available via a nod or a whisper. He coordinated the staff, the bridal party, the chef, the band, the photographer and always had a smile on his face. Yes, Flowerfield is Andy's house and he takes pride in it! Our band had never played at FF and even they commented, in advance of the wedding, that they rarely work with a venue that is so organized and professional. The food? Outstanding. The staff? Outstanding? The grounds? You guessed it. I had to turn my phone off the day after the wedding because the compliments from our guests were overwhelming. My wife and I were married here in the summer of 2019. It could not have been better. Truly magical. We were very happy and our guests (130) were so pleased with everything from the great scenery to the great food. Both of our parents were quite impressed. I can say you get what you pay for and it was worth every penny. You can't say that about most weddings but this venue you can. Pam, our planner, was exceptional and her staff was top notch. Solid 4 stars. We were here for a wedding last night and were so impressed with this venue. The spaces are absolutely lovely. Hanging lanterns, inside ponds with large koi. Outside pond with fountains, live swans and geese (babies too). Outdoor fireplace is a beautiful addition. Area for cocktails is spacious and has many tables, chairs, bar tables and couches for guests to relax. The cocktail hour and a half was over the top. Passing hors d'oeuvres of baby lamb chops (medium rare), crab cakes, espresso cups filled with lobster bisque, the most perfect pigs in a blanket (if u can imagine such a thing), buratta with peppers in martini glasses.. There were stations of Brie en crote, sliced cheeses and chunks of parmigiano reggiano, hummus, pita, veggies, fruit, antipasti, pasta. A potato bar where u can fill a martini glass with either mashed potatoes (oh yeah) or mashed sweet potatoes and then load them up with chili, sour cream, cheese, marshmallows, brown sugar.... Service at the bar and the wait staff were exemplary except for 1 guy at the paella station who made a wtf face when I asked for 1 shrimp and 1 clam (I don't eat sausage or mussels). But we can excuse him. Who knows what other people asked for before I showed up. Reception room was beautiful. Service at the bar and wait staff still doing so well. They must fold a million napkins per event. Choices for dinner were filet mignon, roasted chicken, sea bass or manicotti. All were presented well and enjoyed by the guests. Of course I ordered the manicotti. I was thrilled to find a non meat non fish item. Unfortunately this was the wrong choice as it was dry and flavorless and cold. Oh well. The cocktail food was sooooo good and plentiful it just didn't matter. It's not easy to find a catering venue that is as lovely, with such good food and service. Totally recommended. read more

My husband and I got married here almost three months ago (I know I'm late writing my review). My wedding was everything I ever dreamed of and more. It did rain the day of my wedding but I said hey it's 'good luck', when our limo pulled up the staff already had umbrellas waiting for us so we wouldn't get wet. In the bridal suite there was food and champagne waiting for us, the bridal attendent was amazing just always on top of everything. Andy, I was just so thankful for his amazing work and attention to everything, there was never a second that my glass was empty, or even from getting my flats that were buried who knows where. Our guests have endless pictures outside (it did stop raining for a little while) they loved loved loved the food! And I think enjoyed the chocolate fountain more then us. I booked a year in advance and probably visited a million times in between (I worked with Kerry up until she left then worked with heather) , Kerry was the sweetest person ever with a heart of gold, and Heather picked up everything and also did amazing job. I would not book a wedding or reception at this venue which was Flowerfield Celebrations, St. James NY. My husband and I are relatives of the groom. We were invited and responded via the Flowerfield website provided on the Save the Date and Wedding Invitation. We received confirmation that our acceptance was acknowledged. When we arrived at the venue and were told to look for our seating arrangements. We realized that our names were not there. We checked with the manager in charge, Pamula. Pamula reviewed the list of invited guests and our names did not appear, so she said she would have to check with the parents. I imagine it is protocal to check with the parents, but not right before the ceremony which seemed to be the intent. We were not made to feel welcomed and shown a seat until all could be dealt with (without bothering the parents). This is uacceptable as the parents have already provided the complete guest list and Flowerfield Celebrations, St. James NY has our confirmation electronically. Because this is a very stressful business filling once in a lifetime situations, it is realized that nothing is perfect, so I did take the time to speak with General Manager Ryan who could offer the fact that he was sorry. If this was a party and nothing more than this complaint would seem trivial, however, it is not trivial. We are relatives with news, gifts and other information that is always best to share with family in person. This should have never happened! read more

I've never felt so taken care of. We all know what happened when we plan a wedding. Letting go of our control on the big day? Terrifying. How do we do that? Do they know what we want? Flowerfields does and the execute. It was a worry free day! They did exactly what I dreamed and envisioned. Andy the maître d' was ... perfect? What other words are there? He was perfect. He ran the show and we felt like king and queen for the day. Debbie the bridal attendant. Well you guested it. Perfect. She was kind and funny and helpful. I truly couldn't imagine my day without her. She was always there when I needed her again to never let us lift a finger. We brought so many decorations and the weird thing was I never cared to "check" them. And when I passed by them is when I had the time to look and it was all beautiful. Every person who works at this venue has one goal. To make your day perfect. From the chef to the staff to the security. Everyone has the same goal. I couldn't picture our wedding story with any other venue or staff. Thank you all for being a part of our journey forever. read more
