Now my boyfriend's father is a member so I believe he got a discount on the hall rental, and I don't know if they changed any of the rules for him from what they may usually charge for rentals. I know that the KoC banquet staff only served the food, everything was actually purchased by my bf's parents and brought in the morning. They had open bar and when I asked for a tequila sunrise the man put vodka in my drink as I watched him make it and then would not give in that he put in the wrong liquor. In the beginning he was making every mixed drink with the same bottle of clear alcohol no matter what you ordered. Later on, someone else stepped in and got it right. But regardless of that, this place was nice and everyone had a great time.

It is intimate and perfect for any special event. Tonight we came for a elite event, invite only from one of my favorite radio stations ( @WALK975 ) to see American Idol winner Phil Phillips. A great big THANK YOU to Patrick Shea, Mike, Christina and all the rest of the team that made this epic night possible. The Beach Club at Lake Ronkonkoma is set up perfectly for live entertainment outside. Beautifully adorned with tropical palms, colorful flowers and spacious dance area. It feel Luxurious. Ava Della Pietra, a local senior here on the Island opened for Phil with her hit "Happy for You". Ava has a beautiful voice and I'm sure we will be seeing her name up in lights soon. To follow her on Instagram @avadellapietra Phil came out next, he was spectacular. He did not disappoint. He was very interactive with the attendees answering questions between songs and giving us stories of his life as a new Dad. He is charming and charismatic, as well as a talented artist. Check out his new music, Dancing With Your Shadows @phillphill Ending the night dancing to the music from Vinyl Revival Band was so much fun. Now as far as the food it was just ok. I had the coconut shrimp that was a little to greasy for me & tomato and mozzarella that had absolutely no salt and a very little drizzle of balsamic. It definitely needed something. It might just have just been a bad night for the chef. Even though the food did not match the decor the place is still truly a Long Island Gem.

I am giving this venue 4 stars only because of the challenges that we experienced with the management of the venue while planning the wedding. Our original wedding plans were impacted by the pandemic and there were small things that could have been handled better including us having to increase the number of guests in order to reschedule the wedding to 2021. While planning for the event, I would look up reviews intermittently and the negative reviews about the venue did cause me to worry about how things would turnout, but I tried to remain positive. I had also been in touch with Uncle Frank who was the first person we met when we booked, was the person who married us, and was always warm and sweet, so that did help me feel more at ease. From the minute we arrived up until we closed down the venue at the end of the night, everything was beyond my expectations. We had an incredible time, and the staff was great. Food: the appetizers and the cocktail hour station got great reviews from my guests. The bridal attendant and Vickie made sure that there were plenty of appetizers in the bridal suite and were great about making sure that I too, got to enjoy this part of the event. We selected a buffet style dinner. My guests loved the food, even the critical foodie friends and family said the food was excellent. I have to thank Vickie for making sure that I sat and ate, which is why I can also attest to how great the food was. The sausage and peppers were on point, the filet mignon wasn't over cooked, and the chicken francese was one of the best I ever had. Staff: Vickie, the bridal attendant (I forget how to spell her name), Jay, the servers, and Bill the Bartender were all awesome. The staff was helpful to my guests and made sure that everyone was comfortable. Vickie made sure that everything ran smoothly and that I was happy. If I got up and looked like I needed something, either Vickie or the bridal attendant were at my side asking if I needed anything. The actual venue is beautiful and speaks for itself. We were deciding between a few caterers and had a tasting with the Perry's that just sealed the deal. My (now) husband and I walked out of there saying it felt like we just had lunch with our aunt & uncle, it felt like we had known them that long! They are two amazingly warm people -- of course it helps that John is incredibly organized and good at his job and that Nikki makes the most delicious bites. We devoured every little last bite at that tasting.. Nothing went to waste! John was so helpful with everything leading up to the day of as well, from picking out rentals, to working out our timeline. We decided to have a different format (cocktail stations as opposed to a formal sit-down dinner) and working together, John helped us make sure we'd have a smooth flow and that everything would go off without a hitch. As we were working out the details with the rentals, I never felt like he was pushing me one way or the other -- even when he put together the list of kitchen items they'd need (my venue did not provide any set-up), I knew he was being careful about not over-ordering. I really felt like he had my best interests in mind at all times. Having him to coordinate all the details made me feel at ease.. I knew I was in good hands! On our actual wedding day, we were so well taken care of. The staff made sure we were eating (haha, doesn't always happen at weddings!) and everything ran so smoothly. Later in the evening, a very traumatic family emergency happened during the reception that put a frightening pause on the celebration. John was a rock and I really felt like I looked to him for the "What now?" John & Nikki were different from some of our other vendors with whom we'll probably not be in touch again. I feel like we'll be sending John & Nikki Christmas cards for years to come.. :) They embraced us and made us feel like family, and I'm certain they will you too.

The owners are very conscious of there neighbors and you sign a contract stating the noise ordinance fact, trash on grounds and neighboring homes. Its a shame there is not a parking lot to keep the cars off the street but it is what it is. A clean and spacious hall, is it beautiful? No but decorations make anything look good. You can rent one floor or entire building depending on your guest list. We have always rented entire building and in spring/summer you have the back to be outside as well. The required deposit is refunded when you bring keys back the next day. You are required to surface clean up all trash and litter and do a quick sweep. The nice thing is you get the key around 10am the day of your event which makes life easier to drop off all stuff when you get key and decorate then come back to heat food etc after your all dressed and ready! I understand the frustration of the neighbors and very surprised they allowed a Heavy Metal Party..they must have lied because they ask what type of affair and I'm pretty positive they would have said no!!

Talk about full circle moments. This past weekend we celebrated my brother in law being the Chief of his local fire department. I really couldn't be more proud of him. He is the one that coordinated most of the party and did a stellar job. It was nice to see the place had a facelift since I worked here as a teen. The food was delicious as we had a cocktail style menu for the entirety of the evening. My favorite was the mini burgers. A lovely evening was had by all. Sad I couldn't stay for dessert but the dessert hour started at 10pm and we had a long way to go to get back to the kid. I would come back here for an event for sure.
