The owners are very conscious of there neighbors and you sign a contract stating the noise ordinance fact, trash on grounds and neighboring homes. Its a shame there is not a parking lot to keep the cars off the street but it is what it is. A clean and spacious hall, is it beautiful? No but decorations make anything look good. You can rent one floor or entire building depending on your guest list. We have always rented entire building and in spring/summer you have the back to be outside as well. The required deposit is refunded when you bring keys back the next day. You are required to surface clean up all trash and litter and do a quick sweep. The nice thing is you get the key around 10am the day of your event which makes life easier to drop off all stuff when you get key and decorate then come back to heat food etc after your all dressed and ready! I understand the frustration of the neighbors and very surprised they allowed a Heavy Metal Party..they must have lied because they ask what type of affair and I'm pretty positive they would have said no!!

I've been to, and have had parties at the hall. The owners are a good bunch. People in the area, crying about parking, were probably also aghast to find out there was an airport nearby, when they moved in. They act like Ocean Ave is some nondescript cul de sac, tucked into a pine forest. Newsflash: It's a main drag. The Freedom Hall is Ronkonkoma History, and the way history is being removed as of late, it's nice to have them around.

It is intimate and perfect for any special event. Tonight we came for a elite event, invite only from one of my favorite radio stations ( @WALK975 ) to see American Idol winner Phil Phillips. A great big THANK YOU to Patrick Shea, Mike, Christina and all the rest of the team that made this epic night possible. The Beach Club at Lake Ronkonkoma is set up perfectly for live entertainment outside. Beautifully adorned with tropical palms, colorful flowers and spacious dance area. It feel Luxurious. Ava Della Pietra, a local senior here on the Island opened for Phil with her hit "Happy for You". Ava has a beautiful voice and I'm sure we will be seeing her name up in lights soon. To follow her on Instagram @avadellapietra Phil came out next, he was spectacular. He did not disappoint. He was very interactive with the attendees answering questions between songs and giving us stories of his life as a new Dad. He is charming and charismatic, as well as a talented artist. Check out his new music, Dancing With Your Shadows @phillphill Ending the night dancing to the music from Vinyl Revival Band was so much fun. This is a professional dance, disco, classic rock party band that plays at local live music venues on the Island. Contact info at 516-384-0363. Life is good when you get these moments of ultimate bliss. I was in the zone watching the first summer sunset , enjoying the beautiful weather and listening to the night's music. Now as far as the food it was just ok. I had the coconut shrimp that was a little to greasy for me & tomato and mozzarella that had absolutely no salt and a very little drizzle of balsamic. It definitely needed something. It might just have just been a bad night for the chef. Even though the food did not match the decor the place is still truly a Long Island Gem.

So first because it was a sit down and not a buffet the staff wouldn't let the food be brought home according to the staff only buffet is allowed to be brought home so if you're having a party at this place and want food brought home make sure you get the buffet. Secondly, I told the waiter numerous times that I was waiting for a box to bring my cake home not to touch it I stepped away for a moment went back to my table the waiter took my cake and through it out. Luckily there was still some on the side being served so I was able to get it replaced but it's the principal of the thing. I will never go back to this place again, the staff is rude and the price for the food is not worth it especially if you are only allowed to bring it home if you did a buffet and not a dinner type. This place is a rip off. I am so sorry I had my daughter's graduation party here last August 2024. Ironically enough the staff that was at the Wedding reception was the same rude staff at her graduation party. Between Frank who sets up the parties one day and calls you the next cause he overbooked and the staff itself that serves the food this place is the absolute worst.

From what I heard is that it is also newly renovated. It was a nice, open and airy catering hall. We waited on line for a short period of time before being seated for the Disney Princess Brunch we previously purchased tickets for. Part of our ticket included one brunch item of their menu. On the Brunch menu there was a panini, a salad, Eggs Benedict and Chicken and Waffles. I chose the panini which was grilled chicken with honey mustard. Children under 3 were free and all children were to eat from the buffet which included chicken fingers, waffles, and French fries. All the food was tasty and was of decent quality. While the fed the children quickly, which is much appreciated, our food came out at the very end of the program. I needed to leave early because the baby needed a nap asap. All in all I was pleasantly surprised with how good the food was and how nice the place was as well. I wouldn't mind coming back here for a special occasion.

The space itself looks nice at first glance, with an elegant setup that gives the impression of a well-run, upscale place. Unfortunately, that impression falls apart pretty quickly once you actually sit down. The menu was not very appealing and felt shockingly uninspired for a venue that hosts weddings and formal events. Nothing stood out, and the options felt lazy rather than thoughtfully curated. The food itself was subpar at best--bland, forgettable, and nowhere near the quality you'd expect from a place trusted to cater important life events. The guest WiFi system didn't work at all, which is embarrassing for an event venue that likely hosts long gatherings, meetings, and celebrations. If you're going to advertise WiFi, the bare minimum is making sure it actually functions. The cappuccino situation was the final straw. The machine wasn't turned on because a worker forgot. That's not a complicated issue--it's basic competence. For a place trying to pass itself off as polished and professional, this kind of oversight is unacceptable. Overall, despite the nice appearance, the experience just wasn't pleasant. The unappealing menu, mediocre food, broken guest WiFi, and careless service made it clear that this venue prioritizes looks over execution. If this is how they handle regular service, I'd seriously question trusting them with a wedding or special event. I personally wouldn't recommend. The other venues offer a much better experience for around the same price.
