Rooms are nice for the most part, but oddly lacking in the overhead lighting they provide, so hopefully anything you need to get ready for doesn't require too much illumination. Otherwise the rooms are comfortable, albeit a bit on the smaller side but large enough for a short stay. Parking is decent in the attached lot, but getting out can be a little rough since it's right along a main road. Additionally, it's within earshot of the racetrack, which can be quite noisy during the day, but was no issue by the time we got back at night. Breakfast is also served in the mornings and they offer a good variety and decent quality, but nothing to write home to mom about, but I've certainly had worse too. Overall, I'd be glad to stay here again if I find myself needing a night or two out east.

Right off this entry room is spacious restrooms. Now it is time for the cocktail hour and may I say you will be very pleased. You name it, it is yours. Fresh fruits, vegetables, salads galore, charcuterie platter , guacamole, chips and so on and so on. I didn't visit the hot meats, seafood or pasta stations but I did notice many guests were enjoying their selections. There were countless servers coming from every direction with a variety of delicious hors d'oeuvres. Seriously, it went on non-stop for an hour. There was a very large bar serving excellent drinks that never stopped. Hopefully everyone left decent tips! The staff worked very hard, constantly moving, cleaning and serving with a smile. It was wonderful to see the young community taking pride in their work. They are truly an asset to this establishment! Great job young adults! Ok so now the wedding reception. Like no other wedding reception my husband and I have ever experienced. The reception room was very large and beautiful. Gorgeous flooring and lighting fixtures. So grand and please don't but you could eat off the floor. It was very comfortable to walk around and a very spacious and open dance floor. Fast foward the main course and dessert. Again the staff was perfection. Constantly asking if anyone would care for a cocktail and always serving with a smile. The salad and main course was beautifully platted and served on a timely fashion. A few guests commented that the portions were a little small but after that cocktail hour who really needed a large meal. Some guests also weren't completely pleased with their main course. Managers and staff walked around and asked guests if there was anything that needed to be addressed so I'm sure it was rectified swiftly. I was completely satisfied with the salmon I ordered so no complaints here! And then here comes the desserts. OMG, again you name it! My nephew spared no expense. From the main wedding cake to the mini ice cream cones everything was delicious. This was a spectacular wedding and East Wind was a big part of that success. We had a great time! East Wind is convenient to get to and has a very large parking lot. They also offer accommodations at the Inn and Spa at a reasonable cost. My experience has been much better than the critical reviews posted. My reason for staying here was because it's close proximity between the Lab and ISIP airport. Additionally, I'm a Marriott BonVoy member and stay exclusively at Marriott properties to earn points. Parking is easy, the hotel is clean, associates were friendly, I received a welcome gift with water and snacks, my room was ready and clean. I slept great during my stay here. The continental breakfast was good (oatmeal and French toast, yum!). My only complaint is not really the hotel but the area of Bellport. There are hardly any restaurants in this town because of the industrial area.

Here are my issues: - For 5 nights, our rooms were "freshened" once. My trash was not emptied at all. My daughter's trash was emptied and the cans were thrown on the ground. (see pix) - Housekeeping did not refresh our drinking cups. They did not give my daughter any washcloths and I did not get a bathmat. - The breakfast was substandard. The oatmeal was very watery and the Bacon, Cheddar, and spinach frittata was mostly powdered egg with a thin layer of the advertised ingredients on top. I could not taste the spinach or bacon. I had one faint taste of cheddar. (see pix) - The breakfast trash was overflowing and food offerings were not replenished at a timely manner. Guests had to ask the staff for the food that was empty. - There was mildew in both of the showers and on the shower heads. (see pix) - Online advertisements show a pool. There is no pool. (see pix) - The dryers are so high, I had to use the folding table to get all my clothes out of the table. - I would be watching (with poor video quality) and it would suddenly revert to the Marriott channel. Very annoying. - In both of our rooms, we could hear people walking above us and doors slamming. It woke us up. Definitely not worth the increase. Substandard. Marriott is price gouging.

I attended a bridal shower here in June and it was one of the best if not the best bridal shower I have ever been to, and I have been to many. Everything about this venue was perfect. The parking lot is a bit of a walk to the building, that's the only negative thing I have to say. The place is absolutely beautiful. Wooden structures inside overlooking the boardwalk with large windows, I mean I can't say enough about how beautiful a setting it was. The food for the shower was fantastic. Omelette station, standard brunch fare, all delicious. Tomato, mozzarella and basil, cheese and meat boards, delicious vegetables and fruit, I was wow-ed. The staff was phenomenal, coffee was literally insane. I couldn't believe how good the coffee was so I went up to a worker and asked what they use. He came back and said, "Folgers." I kid you not. I was so embarrassed but also went to Stop and Shop after I left the shower and bought a big thing of Folgers coffee because it's SO DARN GOOD. It was somewhat of a windy day so we stayed inside most of the time except for photos where we went outside onto the boardwalk and had a beautiful view of the beach. I attribute so much of this fantastic shower to the people who put it together as they brought a donut wall and had a make your own flower bouquet station and so on and so forth but the venue itself and the staff and the clean huge bathrooms were a 10/10. The Madoo Conservancy presents a microcosm that flows along walking paths through different aspects of the 2-acre plot of land, all the while focusing on the plant life that Dash has cultivated since the garden's conception in 1967. Dash's garden presents a fundamental attitude -- plants are the dominating forms, structures are secondary. Madoo is a space ever changing, with seasons, new plantings, and repainting of outdoor furniture and structures to reflect the magnificent horticulture that thrives here. The garden is open every Wednesday and Saturday from the beginning of May until the end of September, from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. Admission is $10.00, which fee is used for the garden maintenance. Photographs are permitted; strollers, dogs, children under the age of 6 are not. Separate tours may be arranged for groups of 10 or more.
