There are truly not enough words to express how grateful I am to Gina and everyone at The Victorian Room in Bay Shore. We recently celebrated my daughter's bridal shower there, and it was everything I had hoped for and more. From the moment we walked in, the room took our breath away. The venue is already so beautifully decorated that adding our own bridal shower theme made it look absolutely magical. Every corner was picture-perfect. The food was outstanding, and our guests couldn't stop complimenting it. But when dessert was served, everyone was amazed! The cake was absolutely gorgeous and matched our theme perfectly. It was one of those special details that made the day even more memorable. The biggest reason everything went so smoothly was Gina. She thought of every detail, handled everything behind the scenes, and made sure I never had to worry about a thing. Instead of stressing over the event, I was able to spend the day celebrating with my daughter, family, and friends--and that's a gift every host hopes for. If you're lucky enough to have your special event at The Victorian Room, don't think twice. You will be in the best hands, and you'll create memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you, Gina, for making my daughter's bridal shower so incredibly special. We will never forget it! read more

If there were a rating higher than five stars, Victoria Room would deserve it. I'd happily give them 100 stars! We recently celebrated with my niece, her bridal shower at the Victoria Room, and I can honestly say it was one of the most wonderful events I've ever attended. From the moment we arrived until the very end, everything was absolutely perfect. The venue itself is beautiful. The décor was elegant, warm, and created the perfect atmosphere for such a special celebration. Every detail made the day feel even more memorable. The food was phenomenal. There was an incredible abundance of delicious options, and every single dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Everyone in our party was raving about how amazing everything tasted. What truly made the day extraordinary, though, was the staff. Every member of the team went above and beyond to make every guest feel welcomed and cared for. Their attention to detail, kindness, and professionalism were second to none. A very special thank you to Alex, who was nothing short of exceptional. His personality, professionalism, and genuine warmth made such a lasting impression. He anticipated every need before anyone even had to ask and made everyone feel like honored guests. Outstanding service like his is rare, and he is a tremendous asset to the Victoria Room. I'd also like to recognize the staff who kept everything spotless throughout the event. They worked seamlessly and efficiently, making sure everything stayed clean, organized, and beautiful without ever interrupting the celebration. I honestly cannot think of a single thing that could have been better. The venue, the décor, the incredible food, the impeccable service, and the amazing staff all came together to create a flawless experience. If you're looking for the perfect venue for a bridal shower or any special celebration, look no further than the Victoria Room. They don't just host events--they create unforgettable memories. Thank you to Alex and the entire team for making this bridal shower so incredibly special. We will be talking about this experience for years to come and can't wait to return! read more

Absolutely wonderful service and amazing food. I hosted my daughter's bridal shower there yesterday and they took such great care of us and attended to all our needs. Gina is an incredible baker - she made so many delicious treats and cakes. My guests raved about the food. Alex waited on us hand and foot. I was drinking virgin champagne punch and he came over to the table and automatically refreshed my drink when he saw it was low. They let us decorate as we wanted to, though the place is so beautifully decorated for the season that I didn't really need to do anything. My guests were so impressed with the venue. Gina was on top of our gluten free needs and made sure the bride and myself had the gluten free food and treats that we needed. She is very accommodating. I fully recommend this venue. read more

Highly recommend The Victorian Room. My Mom booked my baby shower here and everything was AMAZING! You have the entire place to yourself! Perfect for a shower, birthday, Christening, engagement party or smaller wedding. I think the place holds up to 70 people? The place was beautifully decorated with a vintage/rustic feel. Flowers, wood, chandeliers, fire places...absolutely beautiful!! The food was delicious and the dessert buffet was excellent. Everything fresh and tasty. Gina and staff were attentive and running the whole time cleaning up, transitioning, and asking if anything was needed. Would book here again in a heartbeat! read more

Gina has a very poor sense of humor, treats staff bad. Left a tip for a few of her employees with card and they never received it because she keeps them to herself. She takes advantage of employees and punishes them with no work for false rumors . read more

I had called today to see if a date was open for July. (I own my own business..customer service is the utmost importance)..The person who called me back did not have the date available. She was so nasty and condescending..I never understand why people are miserable to an elevated degree. read more

The ambiance is very nice , warming & welcoming. & beautiful inside. Food is very good , but have to very specific as to what you want .Eg penne ala vodka was not penne pasta. I was surprised to see the cake & didn't have congratulations written on it or my daughter's name. Service is great but they could use more help . & food was taking away too quickly & from the tables. The guests were pleased to my knowledge which is good. I've been to showers there before I had my daughters , think I expected more for my own party. I've learned it's All about details. read more

We held my daughter's baby shower here! I cannot think of a more perfect venue. From the decor, to the ambiance, delicious food, attentive and personable staff...I give this a total 5 stars. So I graduated from college this week & celebrated at the Victorian room. I don't know what to talk about first- the excellent service, unique and beautiful setting, the food, the communication, staff- this day was truly one I will never forget. I had the pleasure of working with Gina and Alex when doing the planning. They were extremely friendly, excellent communicators, accommodating when planning meetings, integrating ideas and overall, went above and beyond. Not to mention, they made the food, which was outstanding. Everything was personalized - even the menu! Two members of my family have dietary restrictions (gluten free and nut free) and were able to eat with no issues. Just awesome! As for the venue, it was everything we were looking for and more! This place is so beautiful and unique. We had access to the entire venue and had the space to ourselves - indoors and outdoors! Lots of cute details that gave this place its unique charm. Absolutely loved it! I cannot rave enough about this place. Just incredible all around. I will definitely be reaching out to plan future events here. Plan your events here! Poor treatment from owner. Overbooking and unable to fulfill promises made. Despite initial assurances the abrupt cancellation of event and treatment by owner is disappointing to say the least. Let down severely. Not respectful to customers or events. Promises the world then disparages you and can't deliver. 0 stars read more

The owner makes promises than backs out, leaving you stuck and scrambling at the last minute.

That's Amore! Had the most amazing bridal shower for my daughter. Gina, Alex and staff were simply amazing. They continued my theme throughout the venue as well as with the delicious, fresh brunch and baked goods. Gina bakes all her pies, pastries and breads which guests are still talking about. They were also amazed with every party detail and decor of the Victorian Room! She aims to please and is fantastic. We all have continued talking about how wonderful the day was. Delicious food and cocktails (so accommodating) Gina's energy is contagious, both to her staff and guests. Positivity abounds! I had my daughters bridal shower here 5/4/25. Two days before I broke my hip (stupid I stepped on an inflated balloon for balloon arch) Well, I was beyond devastated knowing I will miss my daughters shower. However, Gina and her staff took control of the situation. I cannot express how grateful I was to having such a caring and dedicated person to take over the event. Everyone raved about the shower, the food, the decor and the staff! My sister and mom chose The Victorian Room for my wedding shower, and I'm SO happy they did! The food and drinks were outstanding. All throughout the party I heard guests raving about each course and recommending they try certain things if they hadn't already. We did buffet/charcuterie style. It was nice to have dishes available to our guests the entirety of the event. Gina and her staff are all amazing. They were so attentive to me (and guests) and always made sure I had a crisp cold drink in my hand, food, etc. They helped set up, run the event and clean up. Everyone SO helpful and sweet the entire time. We had a mix of adults and children attend the shower; the environment of The Victorian Room was perfect for this. We had the whole space to ourselves so the kids were able to run around, have fun and look at all the pretty decorations that are placed all over the space! Overall, the food/drinks/atmosphere were 10/10. We were able to have such a personalized experience with Gina and her team at The Victorian Room, I couldn't recommend enough! *already looking forward to planning another event there at some point!* read more

Best decision ever by my mom to have my bridal shower at the Victorian Room. I was immediately sold on the classy Victorian decor, which all of the guests raved about. There is also an outdoor area in the back which has recently been updated with overhanging flowers & lighting, - perfect for the upcoming warm weather season. The food was delicious and abundant. Multiple buffets with a brunch spread, hot chafing dishes and an omelette station. The girls loved the champagne bar, but the main event was the gorgeous dessert spread, freshly baked by the owner! The staff was extremely attentive to all of our needs throughout the entire event. They were very helpful to me in guiding my mom through the process, (since this was her first shower), but they were also very gracious about all of our preferences. read more

Food was served cold , no warming trays and no one cared. Food not made there, brought in from outside vendor who is off premises and used to have a great menu made fresh daily at their location but that apparently wasn't profitable. Shame that the economics didn't work for them. This arrangement doesn't work for us. read more

Beyond thrilled with my experience at the Victorian Room in Bayshore! We celebrated my husbands end of the roaring 20's themed 30th birthday party and no one was disappointed. So much food, drinks were flowing the ambiance was spot on. Unforeseen circumstances had me running late to set up, but Gina and her staff were there to save the day. They had the room looking even more beautiful than when you walk in which seems hard to imagine since its already so lovely without the party decorations. Everyone at the Victorian room was attentive, accommodating and beyond nice. Gina treated my family like hers and I couldn't be more grateful for such a memorable night! read more

Recently went to a bridal shower here and fell in LOVE with the place! The place is absolutely gorgeous, they even have an outdoor section that is decorated just as beautiful on the inside from top to bottom, not a detail missed. The food was absolutely delicious, and the 2 servers who were also the bartenders were so attentive and kind. The owner Gina was incredibly warm, friendly and helpful - she even made the cake for dessert herself! Not only did it look beautiful, but it was probably the best cake I've ever had. Was here recently for a family event and was very disappointed in the food, and not enough staff for serving food. The bartender did a good job on the drinks thoug The chicken was very dry in a very dark brown mushroom sauce, it had some flavor but really dry. The served new potatoes that were deep fried - tough strange texture and just not good. The beef was okay with a creamy pepper sauce and okay texture, well done though. The kids meals were badly over cooked chicken nuggets and fries. Desserts were okay - black and white cookies, donuts and Cookies. read more

Had such a wonderful "Sip and See" party for my new Granddaughter at the Victorian Room. The venue was perfect with indoor and outdoor seating (for the Covid worry guests). Food was delicious. Decor is always beautiful. And everyone had a great time. We decorated diapers with jokes, make beautiful headbands for the baby and had Disney tattoos for the other kids (ages 4-44)! I was pleasantly surprised with the food and service at the Victorian Room because some of the reviews are not so kind. I went to my friend's baby shower there last week and had a great time and thought the food and service alike were very good. The service was attentive and courteous, the food very tasty and enjoyable. I had short rib which was hearty and robust in rich flavor, penne a la vodka which was creamy and just the right amount of cream, chicken Francese which was thin and tender in a very light lemon sauce. The rigatoni bolognese was awesome and the eggplant rollatini were great!! I also enjoyed their salad with a very delicious balsamic vinaigrette with mozzarella and tomatoes. They served a pink champagne and vodka cocktail that looked like it was going to be so sweet but surprisingly it wasn't, and I enjoyed it immensely. The coffee was fantastic, seriously so good and just what I needed to end a perfect meal and lovely time watching my friend bask in her glory opening up gifts for her baby girl who is on the way. I'd highly recommend the Victorian Room for a baby or bridal shower. read more

I recently had a graduation party at the Victorian Room, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The place is absolutely gorgeous, especially the patio, and right in the heart of mainstreet in Bayshore. On the day of, Gina and her staff were on top of everything to make sure the party ran smoothly--no one ever needed anything that was not immediately supplied. Additionally, Gina made the most beautiful dessert spread and cake I have ever seen--the party would have been worth it alone for how good all the desserts were.
