    The Riviera Waterfront Mansion. So much goes into planning your big day. With Riviera you have someone on your side that can help you every step of the way. Irene and Tara were so helpful throughout the entire process. The day turned out beautifully. They are a well-oiled machine that makes the day flow easily and calmly. The grounds are beautiful and the staff were great to work with. So many guests complimented the food and were surprised with the abundance of it. They readily accommodated special requests that made our day unique and special. The venue itself is unique in that it has a beautiful, well-manicured outdoor panoramic water view for cocktail hour and ceremony, but then has a warm rustic feel inside with exposed wood beams and high ceilings. Just lovely! Unfortunately, we had an "officiant emergency" the night before the wedding. It had nothing to do with the Riviera, but I called Irene for help. She made it her mission to help us out so we were prepared for the next day. You find out the quality of the people you are dealing with when an emergency comes up. They went above and beyond. At the end of a great night I left there feeling like I made a new group of friends! Great Venue!

    My wife and I had our wedding at the Riviera Waterfront Mansion back in August. The service that the team over there provided was truly unparalleled. The staff was extremely attentive, the bartenders were lively and personable, and ownership made sure every detail was perfect on our special day. I would definitely recommend using the Riviera to host any and all of your special occasions.

    We got married here on 5/20/23. The weather was just terrible and I was completely bummed to not be able to use the outdoor ceremony site but by the end of the night I had completely forgotten about the weather. The indoor ceremony was so incredibly beautiful and the photos were gorgeous. From the maitre'd Megan to the bridal attendant to Irene to the wait staff to the bartenders, we could not have asked for a better experience. Our guests are still raving about what a fantastic experience they had. There was never an empty glass at the tables or wait at the bar. Highly recommend!!!

    Recently attended a wedding reception at Riviera. It was a lovely location on the water with great areas for pictures. The interior has a rustic feel. Warm and dark wooden features with lovely classic decor. The dock in the back and sunset view was an added surprise. The weather wasn't quite right for the full enjoyment of the outdoors at the time went though. The cocktail hour had a nice set up in a decent sized room. The quality of food was good and variety was great. I had chicken scarpariello, shrimp dishes, pasta dishes, and much more. They had a carving station, fruit station and the cold appetizers. The food was spread out so it was not all in one spot. There was one full bar area that was open during the cocktail area and the reception. There was also a cigar station for the reception. For the dinner courses it was the choices of chicken, fish steak etc. I chose the stuffed flounder. It was good and had a lot of seafood inside it. I enjoyed the cocktail hour food much more!!! Fried zucchini, ravioli and bacon wrapped scallops!!! The servers were a bit stingy if you didn't ask for them to add more though. (I got three noodles served at the pasta area until I just asked for more, lol. My salad was missing croutons and the chicken at dinner was a bit dry when I tried some. The service looked like it needed some more servers or more experience. They were not quite "ready" for the evening. I had to ask for lemons about 7 times before I got some. I also asked for coffee since I wasn't drinking or espresso and that wasn't available until dessert. There should be options for those not drinking and need a pick me up before the night is over. It was a lovely wedding in general and everyone seemed to have a great time either way. My focus was mostly on the food and such since I was the designated driver of the night!

    My son and daughter in law were just married here this past weekend. It could not have been more perfect. The gorgeous grounds and setting were picture perfect. All the food from the amazing cocktail hour to dinner to dessert were on point. Our guests were raving about how delicious everything was. And we're Italian so we know good food!!! The wait staff was wonderful and attentive. Wish it would've gone on forever!

    I scheduled a site tour for this venue about a week ago, for today. My fiancé and I currently live in Virginia so it was imperative that I scheduled site tours for wedding venues as we are having our wedding in Long Island, where we both grew up. I was so excited to visit the site because of the location and rustic-like venue. The wood floors and fireplaces won me over. However, I'm extremely disappointed in the service I received. My fiance's grandmother and his sister, my best friend, met with Michelle. She was very inattentive. She was on the phone when we arrived and even after we were instructed to enter the office, she remained on the phone. It was a few minutes shy of 11:30am and she was making an appointment for someone to view the venue at 12pm! Our tour lasted 7 minutes! I asked her to show us the bridal suite and she told us to walk up the stairs and check it out ourselves because her office phone was "ringing off the hook". She never asked how many guests I wanted, she didn't tell us about their preferred vendors, she didn't show us the outside grounds, & there were so many unanswered questions because she had to answer her office phone. She lacked enthusiasm & interest in helping us. Lastly, the floor in the main room was filthy. There were remnants from what seemed to be a previous party (papers and other leftover trash). Hopefully, Michelle improves on her customer service. I have attached screenshots from 4/18/16 from other brides-to-be in Long Island who had unfortunate encounters with Michelle.

    I was set that Long Island only had an amazing atmosphere for weddings. Only downside were the chefs that didn't match it's class. This place had surprised me. The food was great. Better then any other venue's I have catered, attend, or just visit. Compliments to the chef! I absolutely love this place. It's not overly glamorous or extravagant. It has a very cozy feel, especially when it's by the water. I recommend anyone who wants to do a small, yet comfortable type of wedding. A star down for lack of team work with the venue.

    I came here for a wedding and there are complete 5 star and 1 star points to this place. First, pulling up to this place in te middle of a neighborhood seemed weird, but it was gorgeous! Like some sort of ski lodge was plopped down on Long Island, and then given the perfect sprawling patio and dockside lounge areas. The cocktail hour started off with strawberries and champagne and we walked out to the patio to the most amazing spread I have ever seen. This should have just been the wedding food. Not only was it vast from charcuterie and antipasto to Italian classics, appetizer favorites, but there were seafood and carving stations too. Absurd. Then different items not available on the line were being passed.... Most of us figured we weren't getting a meal after but we were. Inside the tables were a bit congested and close together, also very oddly shaped on how they were set up, probably due to the wedding being close what many on here are stating the capacity is. Another note, the sweetheart table was sort of in the middle so they had their backs to some guests and were pointed towards the dance floor. The meals came out incredibly staggered an honestly the food was blech compared to the spread we had earlier. Timing and large quantities never seem to work out well for sit down meals at weddings. The built in balcony made perfect for the bouquet toss, but oh my.... The bride pegged it square onto the chandelier and it had to be retrieved and rethrown. I missed dessert but heard it was pretty amazing, not only did they have cake but the full Bavarian dessert spread.

The staff is attentive and organized, which helps when you're hosting a larger group event. Breakfast is usually the best meal of the day and something I look forward to each year. Lunch this year, however, wasn't quite as memorable. I'm not sure who the chef was, but the food was very plain almost like traditional wedding catering. It wasn't bad or inedible, just lacking seasoning. There was very little salt or flavor, so it didn't really stand out or meet the standard many of us expected. The venue itself is beautiful. The inside has a classic, historic feel, and you can tell the building has been around for quite some time. Certain areas really showcase that charm. There is also plenty of parking, which is always a plus. One small thing to note is the cobblestone area as you approach the building it looks nice but isn't the most heel-friendly. Thankfully, there's a sidewalk around it. All in all, the Heritage Club is still a great place to host meetings or events, especially for larger groups. The atmosphere and service are consistently strong, even if the lunch this year was a bit on the plain side.

There was a nice size area and they seem to move the guests pretty quickly through the process. The room was also very well lit... Not overpowering and very soft on the eyes. While mirrors on the wall definitely add space, they can be a little challenging to a photographer. After being here a few times, I am happy to say that positioning people is very easy and the size of the room was perfect for big groups. I am sorry that I can't go over each type of food tbat we ate but I will tell you that everything was extremely tasty and well prepared. I wish I could get happier about buffet lines, but I'm just not a fan. It's all about the way you call the tables up to get their food and there is no easy way unless you go table by table. This place is not your standard "Knights of Columbus" hall that I have become used to seeing, this is one big hall. The team here is extremely professional and caring about their guests. The maitre'd is extremely cordial and has helped me a number of times positioning my equipment.     I want to share my experience so others can make an informed decision. I rented a catering hall…read moremanaged by Michelle (owner), and unfortunately, it turned into a very stressful situation. Throughout the process, I was promised communication and meetings with different staff members, but no one ever followed through. Several times I was told someone would contact me, and they simply never did. The lack of professionalism was overwhelming. I also received contracts that did not match the amounts I had already paid in deposits, which made me extremely uncomfortable. & I refused to sign them so she said she was seizing any communication unless I signed it, As the event got closer, the situation kept getting more confusing and disorganized. Just seven days before my daughter's celebration, I was forced to find another venue at the last minute, which cost me additional money and caused a lot of unnecessary stress for my family. I later learned that others have had similar issues, including a friend of mine. I truly wish I had known this beforehand. Planning a Sweet 16 is a big deal in our community--we save, we plan, and we put our hearts into creating something special for our daughters. Instead, this experience left us disappointed and financially impacted. I am requesting a refund for the deposits I paid, and I hope no one else has to go through the same experience I did. I am currently reporting her to the BBB I read reviews similar to mine!!!!! Beware...... I want ALL of my money back!!!!

    Words cannot explain how happy I am to have chosen MME for entertainment at my son's 4th birthday…read moreparty. I purchased a bounce house and basketball hoop set for keeping the kids busy at the park. The pricing was excellent and the customer service exceeded that!! Michael was a complete joy to work with, very personable and detail oriented. The equipment arrived early and was cleaned which I was very grateful for especially at times like these. I'm a very picky person and found myself pleasantly surprised with how well this company conducts business. Will definitely be a return customer and would refer to anyone.
